Heyyy could you write a four bit where four helps recruit an eight to the crew (the reader) and doesn’t get to meet her until one brings her in, and he gets a crush on her and she gets a crush on him and she finds out she’s part of the reason why he’s been so anxious for missions, because he doesn’t want to screw It up for her
Crush - Four/Billy
Words: 2.578 words
Type: Fluff
Summary: (What’s written on the request)
Warning: English is not my first language. Sorry if I misspelled something. Mentions of blood and shooting people.

A/N: Gif’s not mine :)
You get out of One’s car and shut the door.
You look around you, the big ass plane was impossible to miss but you couldn’t help but chuckle as you see the trailers in the distance with such friendly sentences graffitied on the walls: ‘stay the fuck away’ is just an example.
One starts walking to the plane and you follow him. He gets in and you take a look inside to see nothing but drawers against one of the metallic walls.
He opens one and looks over at you.
“Put in here anything that you brought” He tells you and you nod.
You open your backpack and take everything out.
One had told you yesterday to bring anything that you’d like, with you. You brought family pictures and some with your friends, your passports and random objects that would remind you of home.
You close the drawer once done and One locks it in, giving you the key.
“Let’s go, you need to meet the team” He says, and you turn around, following him.
You get in in some sort of base and look shocked at all the technology around you after you walked through so many empty all concrete rooms.
Your eyes quickly go to the table, where the other 6 members of the team stood.
“Everyone” One starts, getting everyone’s attention to you both, “This is the new member of our team, Eight”
You smile slightly as your eyes look over at everyone and the brunette opens her mouth to talk.
“Nice to meet you” She says while extending her hand over the table and you take it, shaking it, “I’m Five”
“I’m Two” The man with brown hair says.
“I’m Four” A voice with a British accent says, and you look to the other end of the table to find a handsome blond.
“I’m Seven” Another voice sounds, and you take your eyes out of Four to look at Seven.
“And I’m Three” The blonde woman says, and you nod at her, “Everyone has a specialty in this team, what’s yours?”
You open your mouth to speak but One interrupts you.
“She’s good at many things” He says, and you almost roll your eyes, “She’s good with fighting and shooting, but her specialty will be driving… For now.” He says looking down at you, knowing you aren’t that pleased with that choice.
One explained to you that you will start in this team as just the driver because the team will need one in this mission. To be more specific, someone who drives a bike, being one of the distractions.
The idea of only driving the bike in this mission sounds nothing but boring to you, since everyone else will do way more important and interesting stuff.
You’re just an adrenaline freak when it comes to these things and you can’t help thinking like this.
Your eyes go back to Four after some time of listening to One talk and you find him already looking at you.
One catches you both and clears his throat.
“Four, here, helped with recruiting you” One tells you and you look over at him, “He said you were the one who fitted better in our plan, compared to anyone else on my list… Let’s hope he’s right” He adds, whispering the last words.
Everyone stays silent for a bit and Five decides to talk.
“Can I show her where she’s going to live now?” Five asks One, saving everyone from the awkward silence.
“Yeah, of course” One says, and she smiles. “Everyone can go back to their trailers, we’ll talk about the plan in a few hours”
Five walks around the table and gives you a smile once you start walking to her. You two walk out of the base and she starts explaining who lives in each trailer.
“Two lives there, but he spends most of his time on Three’s trailer, which is that one” She says pointing at the one farther back. “That one is mine… And that one is Seven’s” She adds before you two start walking a bit more since the trailers are so distanced from each other. “That is Four’s and that will be yours” She says pointing at the two trailers.
As you two walk side by side to your new home, you exchange some words, trying to get to know each other (with the less information possible).
You get in and the trailer is bigger than you expected, since it looks so small from the outside.
It’s no apartment, and there is lack of space, but the fact that you have a space for a good-sized bed, a bathroom and a kitchen, you’re good.
“I’ll let you have some time alone to get acquainted with the place” Five says and you nod, thanking her for the tour. “There’s a dog here, by the way. His name is Wally, he usually sleeps on One’s or Four’s trailer; so, don’t get alarmed if he appears”
“Alright” You say while laughing.
Five walks out and you start getting the clothes that you brought with you on the backpack inside the drawers under the bed.
There’s a knock and you look up at the door to see Four’s head pop up.
“Hey” You say with a smile and he smiles back.
“Hey, do you like your trailer?” He asks and you chuckle.
“Yeah, actually, it’s cozy” You say while looking around making him laugh.
“I can show you a store close by, everyone usually gets stuff to decorate their trailers in there”
“I would love that” You say, and he smiles.
“Great, whenever you’re free” He says, and you get up from the ground.
“I’m free right now”
(…)
A week has passed and today is the day of your first mission, but what confused you was that Four looked more nervous than you did.
“You know what you have to do. In case anything goes wrong, you say it right away” One starts, “There will be no changes on the plan, unless they are actually needed… But they still need to go through me first, got it?” he asks.
“Yes” Everyone answers at the same time.
“Then let’s get this done with” One says turning around and walking to the car.
You grab your black matte helmet from the table before zipping up the full body leather gear that hugged your body, as it should.
“You okay?” You ask Four, and he cleans his sweaty hands to his shorts.
“What?” He asks looking at you, “Yeah, I’m fine” He assures you.
You nod trying to ignore how weird he’s acting and follow everyone out.
It’s no secret to anyone (but you and Four) that the two of you have a crush on each other. This last week, you’ve been hanging out the whole time and eyeing each other when slightly separated.
And anxiety for a mission is no unusual thing on the team, nobody wants to actually die during a mission, and the possibilities are high. But when you have somebody that you care for by your side with the same risks you, or worse, the anxiety intensifies.
That is the exact thing that is happening to you and Four, but you hide it better than him (obviously).
You walk to the bike and Four follows you since you need to drop him off in this specific building.
You put the helmet on your head, pushing it down and you turn on the bike, catching some attention from random people walking around, with its roar.
As you drive off, Four’s arms go around your body to keep himself balanced and feel more secure.
Just this position by itself was making you two tense up a bit. You with how your crush is holding your torso slightly tight and for Four with not knowing how tight he can hold you.
Once you get to do the destination, Four gets out of the bike and you pull the helmet off, making him look at you.
“Be careful out there” Four tells you.
“You too” you say back making him smile. “You’re the one that is jumping from building to building after all”
“Yeah, well. You’re going to be the one driving through traffic and make the bad guys follow you, so… I think we both might be in the same scale of danger”
You smile at him while shaking your head and you put your helmet back on. Four pulls himself up by the emergency ladder on the side of the building and climbs all the way to the top.
You drive off without taking a second look and you go to the street that you need to wait.
(…)
After almost an hour of waiting, the team’s car passes by you, overpassing every speed limit in the world and 4 more black SUVs drive behind him.
You turn on the bike and One’s voice starts shouting on your ear (on the earpiece) for your help.
“I’m right behind you” you say calmly.
You pull the pistol with a silencer from the inside of your right boot and quickly shot the last two SUV’s tires. Screams and shouts of angry men inside the car (now forced to stay in their place) are heard was you speed off from beside them, getting the attention of the other cars.
As you took a sharp turn to another street, one of the two cars left turn to follow you, making a smirk appear on your face.
Their back up starts to appear as well, and you continue to stay focused on the road and on the people on the sides of it.
The sound of shooting is heard from behind you and they’re obviously shooting at you.
“Is everything alright over there, Eight?” Seven asks you and you sigh.
“Yeah, everything is fine. I’m just having a hard time trying not to get lost and not to die at the same time” you say.
“How many cars are following you?” One asks.
“Was I supposed to be counting?” You almost freak out.
“No, you’re getting close to Four, now. He will help you with some of them, but not all”
“Okay, they’re more than five behind me, for sure” You say after looking at the review mirror a few times quickly.
“I see you” Four British accent relaxes you for a second and you continue to speed your way through these tight streets. “She has 7 cars behind her”
“Alright, let’s get them off her ass, we just got rid of this one” Two, now, says.
As planned, above you, Four ran through the ceiling of all the buildings trying to keep up with you.
As you go under the bridge, as planned, Four throws two grenades right after you pass him, blowing up 2 of the cars, but locking the passage for the other 4.
“She only has one, now” Four says and you sigh of relief.
“I can take care of this one” you say as you sped up once again.
Now, this part of plan is in your hands. Anything can happen now, you can turn in a random street and it will be a dead end, or it could have other cars waiting for you at the end of it, or just nothing.
As you almost cringed at the sharp turns you took to try and get this car to lose you, the driver just was great with reflexes.
You grab the other pistol on your waist as an idea came to mind and you made sure that the street was clear for many meters before you looked over your shoulder and shot the driver right in the forehead.
The car loses control and for your luck, he was the only one in it (since the others could just run out and shoot you). The car hits the wall as you took a turn and you announce that you have ‘lost’ the last car.
(…)
You walk in Four’s trailer after a shower in yours and he was just looking through movies.
“Hey” you say, and he looks up.
“Hey” he says with a smile before looking back at his DVDs.
There was a comfortable silence as you sat down on his bed and looked over at what he was looking at, until you decided to break it.
“Can I ask you something?”
“Sure” he says while grabbing another pile of DVDs.
“Why were so nervous for today’s mission?” You ask him and he stops his hands to look up at you.
“I- I don’t know. I’m always nervous”
“From what everyone said, not as nervous as you were today” you add, and he leans back in his chair.
“You got me there” he says while pointing at you, making you smile again.
“So, what was it?”
“I think it was because you were there” he says catching you by surprise, “I didn’t want the mission to fail”
You thought for a second after his words and you looked up confused.
“You were scared that I would ruin the mission?” You ask and his eyes widen before starting to shake his head.
“No, no, no. That’s not what I meant” he says making you relax a bit. “I didn’t want to screw up the mission, for you”
“How so?”
“I didn’t want to make myself look like the one in the team that always gets everything wrong” he says, pausing for a second. You two stood silent, not really knowing what to say.
“So, you were trying to impressionate me? You say with a joking tone.
“Yeah, basically” he says, turning his chair completely to you, making your eyes almost pop out of your skull. “What?”
“I was only joking when I said that. I wasn’t expecting you to actually answer that you were”
“Yeah, well, I am serious. I- I have a crush on you since you’ve became a member of the team and it always makes me feel kinda nervous when I’m around you”
You stayed in silence, shocked. You’re freaking out in the inside from happiness, but Four, on the other hand, almost started to freak out himself once you gave him nothing but a straight face.
“I fucked up, didn’t I?” He asks before bringing his hands to his face, scrubbing it in frustration.
“No, you didn’t” you say grabbing his wrists. “God, you did everything but fuck up”
Four was the one confused now, he was getting ready for the heartbreak and to bring his walls back up. He was just ready for everything going wrong, but the opposite is happening now.
“I like you too” you say, and he puts his hands back down on his lap.
“What?” He asks thinking that his ears were playing jokes on him.
“I also had a crush on you since I came in” you admit.
Before Four could open his mouth to say anything else, he brought his hands to your cheeks, pulling you into a slow but filled with passion kiss. As your lips moved in sync and your hands went from his wrists to his chest, gripping the fabric of his shirt, the kiss started to get speed.
Four’s hands fall from your face as the kiss intensifies and grabs your waist, laying you down on his bed and standing up from his chair, holding himself over you.
And let’s just say that you celebrated your success in today’s mission.

must be a dream - part 1

MASTERLIST
(this is my first ever 6U fic with billy so plz dont judge if its bad hahaha i hope u like it! ALSOOO i needed a last name for billy so i just used jones lolol okay byeeee)
Word Count: 3,221
Description: what happens when you run into your “dead” boyfriend at the park?
“I love you.”
Those three tiny words held so much meaning to you. Your boyfriend, Billy, made sure to constantly remind you of how much he loves… loved you. He always had a sweet, soft smile on his face when the words slipped from his lips. On this specific occasion, you were on your back with Billy’s bare chest pressed against yours.
You’re both breathing heavily as your naked bodies are tangled together. Your hand was caressing his cheek as he moves his head to kiss your palm. You smile up at him as he stares into your eyes - his green orbs almost hypnotizing. He speaks those three words and you believe every ounce of it as your heart flutters.
“I love you more.” you whisper back.
He grins big and shakes his head. Suddenly, out of nowhere, his face falls as he fights back a wave of tears. He blinks them away, but not before you notice the change of expression. You knit your brows as you grab his face and make him look at you.
“Hey,” you say softly. “What’s wrong?”
Billy just forces a smile as he shakes his head.
“I’m fine.” he says fast.
He leans down and nuzzles his face into the crook of your neck. You wrap your arms around him as he leaves tiny, gentle kisses all over your shoulder. He’s so warm and comforting - you don’t want him to get up. As if reading your mind, he sits up and sadly smiles.
“I have to go.” he whispers.
You shake your head fast and wrap your arms around him even tighter. You look pathetically sad as you whine.
“No! Not yet! Maybe you can reschedule for tomorrow?” you ask with puppy dog eyes.
It takes everything in Billy to not fall to his knees and do exactly as you say. You were his kryptonite, his weakness. He had done anything and everything for you - except this.
“Baby,” he whispers. “I have to go. They’re… They’re waiting for me.”
You frown even harder as you slowly rub your hand up and down his arm.
“I don’t want you to go.” you say quietly.
His heart breaks right then and there. I don’t want to go either, he wants to say, but he doesn’t.
“I hate that this is your job.” you say, referring to his heists.
Billy takes in a deep breath and closes his eyes.
“I’ll be...fine.” he says hesitantly.
“Promise?” you ask as you hold up your pinky finger.
This was yours and Billy’s way of trust. You don’t ever, ever break a pinky swear. He started this when you first started dating and it’s stuck ever since. Billy opens his eyes and his voice gets stuck in his throat as he stares at your pinky. He tenses his jaw and slowly reaches his hand out.
If he makes a promise, he’d break it. If he doesn’t make the promise, you’d know something was wrong. He takes in a deep breath as his pinky wraps around yours. You break out into a huge grin and his heart skips a beat. Remember this smile, he reminds himself.
“Alright, you promised. You can’t break it now.”
Billy tries to smile as he nods. You lean up and kiss him once more. He gives you a quick peck to your cheek as he jumps up from bed and starts getting around. You’re lying there with the sheet wrapped around you as you watch him. He slips his shoes on and he’s finished. He turns around to slowly look at you. He looks you up and down and wants to back out of everything right now. You just sweetly smile and sit up.
“You better not forget to kiss me bye.” you tease.
Billy swallows hard as he walks over to you. You’re smiling like a little kid as he bends down and cups your face. He kisses you, but this kiss is different. It’s slow and sweet as he savors every last ounce of it. He wants to remember what your lips feel like, taste like. He wants to remember how soft your skin felt on his fingers. He wants to remember what your slight moans sound like as the kiss deepens. He just wants to remember… Needs to remember. Billy leans away as he rests his forehead against yours. You graze your finger against his bottom lip as he smiles.
“I have to go.” he whispers.
“I know.” you whisper back. “Please be careful.”
All he can do is tense his jaw and force a sweet smile as he nods. He stands back up and turns around as he walks to the front door. You’re still watching him sadly as he grabs his backpack and swings it on his shoulder. He opens the front door and steps out. He turns around to look back at you. A tear trickles down his cheek, but you don’t notice it.
“I love you.” he says loudly, thankful that his voice didn’t crack.
You place your hand over your heart and smile.
“I love you more.”
Billy then places his hand over his heart as well and smiles. He gives you a slight wink as he slowly shuts the door behind him. Once it’s closed, he walks away and leans against the wall. His eyes are squeezed closed as tears finally pour out. He tries to catch his breath as his body trembles. He wants to run back into the room with you, but he can’t.
“It’ll get easier.”
Billy looks up fast and takes in a sharp breath as One is stood in the hallway with sunglasses on. His voice is flat as he looks down at his watch and then back up.
“Listen, can we please have this life changing moment while we walk to the car?”
Billy walks past him and gives him a death glare. One just smiles as he follows behind him.
“This better be fucking worth it.” hisses Billy.
One takes in a deep breath and pats him on the back.
“Watch.”
***
10 Hours Later
Billy isn't home yet and you were beside yourself. You had called everyone you knew and were pacing around your apartment and shaking like crazy. This wasn’t like him. He always came home when he promised you he would. This wasn’t like him.
You were currently on the phone with the police as they were trying to calm you down. They tried telling you that maybe he was just late. Maybe he got caught up with something and forgot to call. You tried to file a missing persons report, but they wouldn’t allow you. He hasn’t been gone long enough. You were about to freak out on the woman over the phone, but she interrupted with an almost slight gasp.
“Ma’am?” she asks fast. “Ma’am, was your boyfriend’s last name Jones? Billy Jones?”
You freeze and your whole body begins to go numb. Your throat is dry as you just nod. You realize she can’t see you as you close your eyes and whisper.
“Yes.”
Your voice was so tiny. The woman just sighs and you can tell she’s about to say something that you don’t want to hear.
“Miss y/l/n,” she starts with a sad voice. “Ma’am, we have a deputy dispatched and on his way to your home. Can you please stay on the line with me until he gets there?”
“Why are cops coming over? Where’s Billy?” you shout. “How did you find out his last name!? Where’s Billy!?” you scream as your face turns red.
Suddenly, there’s a loud knock at you door as a man yells out that it’s the police. You keep the phone on your ear as you walk over and look through the peephole. You slowly open the door and watch as two male cops looks beyond sad and distressed.
“Miss y/l/n?” he asks with a soft voice. “I am so terribly sorry-”
The cop didn’t even get to finish his sentence when suddenly the phone you’re holding slips from your hand and hits the floor. Your face is in complete shock as their voices become mere background noise. A loud buzzing fills your head as you feel like you can’t breathe. You take a few steps back and shake your head no.
Suddenly, the word dead is all you hear and you snap. You cover your mouth with your shaky hands and allow tears to pour down. You squeeze your eyes shut as your knees give away. They buckle under you as you fall to them. You hunch over and wrap your arms around yourself.
“No, no, no!” you scream out.
The officers hurry to you and fall to their knees as they try to help.
“Please, no!”
It hurt. Every inch of your body… Your heart. It all throbbed. It was like a nightmare had come true. Billy’s dead, Billy’s dead, Billy’s dead. That’s the only thought racing through your mind. What you would do for another day with him. What you would do to feel his touch one more time. What you would do to just have him be okay.
***
1 Year and 3 Months Later
“Those disguises are fucking awful.” says Billy.
The group was on a mission that happened to be back in his hometown. Everywhere he looks it reminds him of you. He’s been in an awful mood ever since they landed here. More hot headed than usual. He’s been drinking more and hoping it will help him not to be constantly reminded of you every waking second. He regrets what he did. He regrets faking his death. He regrets seeing his funeral and having to watch you catch your breath as you cry. He regrets leaving you. He hates himself for it and he always will.
He is now currently walking through a large park that the two of you always went to with Seven next to him. Seven’s been the only one to help him with everything. He hasn’t been on the team long, but Billy’s already so close to him.
“Why is it that I get a costume and you don’t?” asks Seven to Billy.
He just laughs and shrugs.
“Guess One wants to utilize my good looks.” he jokes.
The speaker in their ears crackle on as One speaks.
“Excuse me, ladies? Can we please stay on track and, ya know, find the bad guys?”
They both roll their eyes as they continue walking around a large fountain that’s in the middle of the park.
“I don’t see any sign of them.” says Two through the earpiece.
“Maybe they’re in horrible costumes too.” Three says snarky.
“Four, you see anything? Anything that might even look weird or suspicious?” asks One.
Billy shakes his head as he scans around some more. There’s a playground just beside him as he looks through it. He doesn’t spot who he needs to see.
“No, I don’t see any-”
He freezes.
“Four, you still there?” asks Five.
Seven looks over to him confused.
“Four, what’s wrong?”
His eyes follow his line of sight and he freezes as well. He sees you. You’re at the playground with two other women. The three of you are laughing as you watch tiny kids run around. There’s a stroller perched in front of you as you look down in front of it and smile widely. You’re making silly faces as you bend down and slowly pick up a small baby in your arms.
Billy stops breathing. The baby was six months old and had Billy’s identical green eyes and blonde hair. He swears up and down that she could be his twin. You hold the sweet baby close to you and kiss the top of her head. She’s laughing at you as you stand up with her.
“Four,” Seven says fast. “We need to go. I know what you’re thinking. We need to go.”
Billy can’t move. He’s in a trance as he watches you walk around and kiss the babies chubby cheeks. You look so happy with her. You’re still so beautiful and he wants to so badly rush over and hug you. You were just right there. So close, yet so far away.
“What’s going on?” asks Two.
“Yeah. Can someone keep the rest of us informed?” asks One.
“It’s…” Seven trails off. “It’s her.”
That’s all he has to say and they automatically know.
“Get him out of there!” yells One. “Now!”
“Come one, Four. We have to go!”
Billy just keeps his eyes on you as Seven grabs his wrist and tries to drag him away. Billy’s not fighting him, but he’s still frozen in place. Suddenly, you spot the movement from the corner of your eye as you turn with a smile still on your face. It takes your eyes a moment to adjust to the two men that are staring your way.
At first, you’re a bit worried by it, but suddenly… Suddenly, your eyes land on Billy. Your smile falls as your eyes lock. You feel like you can’t breath as you just stare at him. You’re dreaming, you tell yourself. You’re just imagining it. That’s not really him. You blink a few times and open your eyes once more. He’s still standing there. You take a step forward and find yourself breathing hard.
“Billy?” you whisper.
“Four, we have to go!” harshly whispers Seven.
“Four, I swear to god, if you get caught, I will kill you myself!” shouts One in the earpiece.
“I have a baby…” whispers Billy.
Everyone goes silent.
“Shit.” One barely whispers.
You find yourself slowly walking forward. Billy’s not disappearing, so that must be a good sign. Right? This wasn’t like the other times. You could have sworn you saw him on the other side of the street or right outside your apartment window. He was actually standing there. You shake your head as you get closer and eventually you’re stood right in front of him. You didn’t know what to say. Your throat was dry as tears pour down your face. Billy’s crying too as his eyes are locked with yours. You find yourself shaking your head and almost laughing.
“You’re dead.” you whisper.
It’s almost comical to you now.
“I’ve actually lost my mind.” you laugh out. “You’re dead!” you say a bit louder, your face now serious.
Billy says nothing as he just stares at you with sad eyes.
“Am I dreaming?” you ask.
He slowly shakes his head no. You gasp and cover your mouth with your hand. Your baby has her head on your chest as she’s dozing off. Billy looks to her and can’t fight back a smile.
“I don’t understand what’s happening.” you whisper.
Just then, you begin taking steps backwards. You’re shaking your head as you stare at him and Seven cautiously.
“I’m going crazy.” you whisper. “You’re not really here. I’m going crazy.”
You turn around and go to walk away, but not before Billy reaches out and grabs your free hand. You gasp at his touch as you fly back around. Your eyes are wide as he stares down at your hand holding his. Your chin is quivering as your face scrunches up. You’ve missed his touch so much. You forgot how comforting and warm it is. You shake your head as you look up to him, tears pouring down.
“It’s me.” he whispers.
“Four, we have to go.” Seven says with a dark tone.
Seven gives you a sympathetic look as he tugs on Billy’s arm.
“Go home and stay there, okay!?” calls out Billy as he’s walking away backwards. “Just promise me you’ll go there and stay?!”
Just then, Billy holds up his pinky and you feel like you could faint. That’s when you know it really is him. You're sobbing now as you shakily hold up your pinky as well. Billy’s face falls into a huge grin as he stares at you until he’s gone. You still don’t understand what’s happening. Maybe you really were in a dream. You find yourself wiping your eye and hurrying back to the stroller. The mother’s you came with all look worried and confused by your teary eyed expression.
You explain to them that you need to go home and say it’s a family emergency. They hug you goodbye as you speed walk back to the apartment just down the block. You get inside and close the door. You lock it fast and quietly lay your baby down for a nap. She looks so peaceful as you smile and kiss her forehead. She looks so much like Billy that it almost broke your heart.
“Billy’s dead.” you whisper to yourself. “They saw him fall. He’s dead.”
You wait at your apartment just like he had told you too. You lay down on your bed and close your eyes. If this was a dream, maybe you could finally wake up from it. Dreaming of Billy was the worst thing ever. The two of you would be together and laughing and the next thing you know, you’re waking up by yourself and with the feeling of utter loneliness. You would have rather fallen asleep and stayed asleep.
At least you felt that way until Stella was born. You found out you were pregnant with Billy’s baby a month after he had died… Or at least you thought he did. It was the happiest yet saddest time of your life. You got to be a mother to a beautiful baby girl, but you were still losing Billy. Mixed emotions had become your constant state of mind.
You’re still lying in bed and realize you must have dozed off. You sit up and look over to the crib where Stella was and realize she’s still asleep. You smile at her as you lay back down and stretch. Your mind goes to Billy as you feel yourself about to cry again. Maybe it had all been a dream. Or maybe you really were crazy. Whatever it was, that wasn’t really him. He’s not here. He’s dead-
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Your eyes go wide as you sit up fast in bed. Someone was at your door. You slowly stand to your feet and don’t move. You listen closely and slightly jump when there’s another knock. You’re almost trembling as you slowly tiptoe over to the door. You close your eyes and take in a deep breath before leaning forward and looking out the peephole. Something was covering it and blocking you from seeing out. Your heart was now racing as you were scared. You close your eyes and call out.
“Who is it!?”
There’s silence for a moment before someone speaks out.
“You kept the promise!”
Your eyes go wide as you take in a sharp breath. It couldn’t be… You must still be dreaming. You quickly unlock the door and fling it open. In front of you is stood Billy with a small smile on his face. You can’t look away from him until five others begin standing behind him with awkward smiles on their faces too. You gulp as you look back to him and then it happens. What you thought would happen to you at the park finally did.
Everything goes white and you pass out.

Tumblr media
a/n hi!!! here’s the second part of “the great pretender” and the third 6u fic ive posted. i have so many wips right now (because i have no self control and keep on starting stories i dont have the time to finish). i sat down like 4 hours ago and this is what came out of it. i’m kind of vibing with this story ngl. sooo here's part one, please reblog, etc.
masterlist!
warnings: none!
enjoy :)
⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱⋰⋱
the address the blond man had given you led to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. you tentatively stepped out of your car, eyes scanning back and forth across the area. it suddenly occurred to you that you could have been led there to be murdered. you could walk back to your car, drive back home, and forget you ever met the british man. but you didn’t, and continued to walk towards a set of steel double doors.
it was unusually warm for that time of year with not a cloud in the sky as the sun beat down. you drew closer, searching the surrounding lot for some sign of other people. nada. the building stood about twenty feet high, a few small windows placed at even intervals on the concrete walls. definitely felt like a prime murder location. aren’t i here to “die”? you mused, hand closing around the door handle. you breathed in, out, then pulled the door open and stepped inside the dark warehouse.
it was so quiet you could hear a pin drop, and you flinched when the heavy door shut behind you. taking another deep breath, you started walking around the room, eyes tracking the catwalks hanging overhead. the only light streamed through the small square windows, dust drifting through the air. the light all joined in the center of the room, one spot free of shadows.
“hello?” you called out, hands clenched into fists by your side. for a moment, there was only silence, and your anxiety was steadily mounting by the second. your heart nearly stopped when you heard a set of footsteps from the other side of the room. then another. someone sounded like they jumped from one of the catwalks. another set of footsteps. and another, until you could tell that there were six people in the room besides yourself. you were frozen, waiting for the mysterious group to make the next move. your eyes were glued to the circle of light as a tall man stepped into view.
“well well, looks like four was right. you did show.” his voice was relatively neutral, and he spoke fast. he had close-cropped, light brown hair, and a short beard; a few gray hairs sprinkled throughout. he gave off heavy egomaniac vibes. you automatically were suspicious. some part of you was struggling with vague recognition of his frustratingly handsome face. had he been on the news at some point? but you couldn’t put your finger on it and let the question slide.
“i did. might i ask why you wanted me to come here in the first place?” he tilted his head to the side, crossing his arms over his chest. you could just barely make out the outlines and shadows of more people lingering behind him. you unconsciously readjusted your stance to feel more confident, lifting your chin to look him in the eye.
“in the simplest of terms, you’re an asset,” he spoke without letting through a whisper of emotion, a small, cold smile on his lips. his light tone was mildly irritating, and you were eager to get to the chase as to why you were there. but you already knew the answer, of course. piles of money and classified statistics would make you useful to any illegal operation. yet you decided to play dumb. letting out a breath through your nose, you placed a hand on your left hip.
“oh? to what?” you did your very best to fill your words with a mocking lilt, though it wasn’t necessarily convincing, as his eye roll betrayed. the flicker of a scowl crossed your lips before you slid back into a poker face. you heard a faint snicker from behind the man, and then a subsequent hush. they were listening.
“our crew. we’re just like you. tired of the bullshit. and we decided to do something about it,” the dangerous vibe you found on the group on a first impression seemed to be confirmed. it made you wonder what made each of them an ‘asset’ to this group, and if it was a bigger operation than just an agreement between the people in that room.
“and we know you do too.” they certainly remember my outburst last night, you thought, cringing at the memory. once you stepped into the cab, it was impossible to think of anything else but what you did and what you were thinking of doing. the rest of the night was spent on the couch in your apartment, analyzing the piece of paper the british man gave you, even dipping into the fbi database with your account to dig up any other information. you were surprised to find there was nothing you came up with except for the location and ownership of the place he wanted you to find. apparently, it had been owned by some big tech company but was later abandoned and left to fall into disrepair. besides that, your hands came up empty of all information and you ended up falling asleep while watching tv, still holding tightly to the note.
“what exactly am i in for if i say yes?” curiosity from the night before still simmered in the back of your mind, and you were becoming more and more willing to take the leap you spent the last twelve hours considering. ‘death’ in exchange for a life of freedom. it dawned on you that this man must have faked his death to avoid the very government you were employed by.
“well, this is less of a request and more of an opportunity. you can take it or leave it.” now it was your turn to roll your eyes. your original assumption that the man was egotistical came to mind again. he certainly sounded like some boys you had known in college: rich from daddy’s trust fund, filled with unearned confidence, and owner of a severe superiority complex.
“wow, you really know how to make a lady feel special.” a louder laugh sounded from the shadows behind the man, and you instinctively flicked your gaze to where it came from. an annoyed, whispered curse (in… french?) followed the laugh, which only made the person laugh harder.
“ooh, she’s got a mouth on her. nice choice quattro.” the man’s voice was rich and warm with a slight accent to his words. quattro meant four. was that a name? nickname?
“ANYWAY, you’re gonna be dead in every way, except physical. without the law to hold us, we can do anything.” the man sunk back into a slightly patronizing, dreamy tone, trying to paint a picture of the future you left your boyfriend for. freedom from your earthly responsibilities. but the cynical analyst within you won over.
“as someone who works for the government, that is highly irresponsible.” you felt almost like a mom scolding her children for cooking up a dangerous activity. the man’s smile looked sharp enough to draw blood, brown eyes growing a shade darker. you had to stop yourself from taking a step back.
“didn’t bring you here to lecture me about my poor life choices, i hear enough of that from seven. this is your chance to make the mark you have been dreaming of. now, what do you say?” another number. you had to admit, he was highly convincing. he had such sheer charisma it was hard to resist, but you drew together the best argument you could think of and forced it past your lips.
“i’m not sure… it seems like you are up to some questionable vigilante justice,” you were about to continue your motherly scolding when you felt a person move to stand behind you. their body heat sent a startling chill across your skin. they leaned in closer, mere inches from your ear.
“love, this is what you have been looking for, right? i promise you won’t regret it.” your breath hitched at the british man’s voice. he didn’t sound as confident as he had the night before, somehow seeming younger without his gorgeous features clouding your thoughts. you tried to fight back against the part of you completely convinced by the two men, but it grew stronger by the second. oh god… am i really going to do this? you took a deep breath in, out. there was no more debate. you knew exactly what you wanted, needed.
“what do you need me to do?” you breathed out, pressing your lips into a thin line as soon as the words left your mouth. the blond man behind you relaxed, and you could almost see the smile he was most likely sporting. the man in front of you nodded approvingly, rubbing his beard with his left hand.
“excellent. first step, your name is now eight. i’m one. take a wild guess as to what everyone else’s names are. second, fake your death…” eight? what? the two numbers mentioned before made sense. they were names. your name was now eight, something that you had not expected in the slightest. but you didn’t had time to argue. you listened carefully as one explained how you were going to fake your death, along with finer points about your new fellow ‘ghosts’. a few minutes later, you were caught up. you turned around to greet the others, forgetting that the blond man was standing right behind you. you stumbled, the man’s strong arms keeping you from falling. you could feel the embarrassment rise as he looked down at you.
“glad you joined up… eight.” your cheeks grew hot with every passing second he had a hand on you. clearing your throat, you reluctantly stepped out of his arms.
“that’s gonna get some getting used to.” you laughed nervously, inwardly cringing at the obvious worry in your voice. he just smiled, raising the ambient temperature by 2 degrees celsius. his gorgeous green eyes were locked with yours, and you couldn’t help but offer him a shy smile in return. you were usually much stonier when it came to complete strangers, but the man’s casual confidence was annoyingly attractive.
“you’ll catch on quick. you’re family now.” you softened a little at the care in his voice. you broke eye contact and glanced down at your shoes. a beat later, you looked back up, smirk on your lips.
“then what’s your name, casanova?”
“four,” he matched your smile, reaching out a hand for you to shake. you took it, praying he wouldn’t notice the sweat on your palm. his hands were rough with callouses, skin hot to the touch.
“pleased to meet you, four.” you responded, doing a mock curtsy once you let go of his hand. he smiled, winking at you playfully.
“likewise.”

For the Life of Me (Ben Hardy)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Four (Ben Hardy) x Reader
Word count: 2048
Warnings: guns, near-death experience, death, and a little mention of “not wanting to fight for your life anymore” (I don’t know how to call that, so…)
A/N: Really just wrote this for fun, so if you want more, let me know!
Summary: Small town girl meets the threat of her life... and then the snacc of her life. *wink wink*
 _______________________________________________________________
You had been living in this small town your whole life. Nothing exciting was ever happening in this shithole and all you had ever wanted was to get out of there, but responsibilities and, well, the lack of money, kept you from doing so.
The day a drug cartel moved next door, everything changed. People became scared, others blew a gasket and rioted and some got into some deep criminal shit. You kept going about your days, working in a small café, attending online college classes, business classes to be exact, and living in a crappy apartment, but the town’s vibe was different. Every time you heard the bell of the café’s door ring, your heart skipped a beat. Some days, you got a few cartel members, grabbing a bite for fun, others, the same guys would claim the money you were obliged to pay them for protection, just like the rest of the business in town.
You became aware of their grasp growing onto neighbors cities, but nobody was strong, or willing, enough to stop it. Local police was in on it, and there was absolutely no way that you could get a federal agency to get interested in your small insignificant lives.
On a certain morning, you woke up to the news of a collective murder: a little family that owned a farm and refused to pay the cartel. Dead because they didn’t believe in violence, what a sweet irony.
A few years later, the cartel had become the most influential group in half of the country, which meant you were even more powerless.
June was just starting off. On a Sunday afternoon, you baked a batch of muffins at the café when an unknown voice interrupted you.
“Hi, could I get a coffee, black.” Said the man, looking around him.
You nodded and plastered a fake smile on your face.
           “Sure, name?”
He looked at you through his sunglasses, which he took off a second later. His brown irises were locked with your blue ones. With a dainty smile, but a serious tone and an even more intimidating look, he replied.
           “One. Just put One.”
A little taken aback, you didn’t reply, but you still wrote the name on the cup. He slid a twenty across the counter.
“Keep the change…” he started, his eyes looking for something. “Y/N.”
You nervously played with your name tag as you agreed with a soft nod and a “thanks”.
You busied yourself with the stranger’s coffee, wondering why your hands were trembling that much. You knew he wasn't part of the cartel, or at least, you had never seen him before. You poured the hot liquid in the mug and topped it with a plastic lid. The man had sat down at a table, waiting for his order. You decided to bring it to him.
           “Thank you, darling.”
It was his only answer before he brought his phone to his ear and started talking. You tried your best not to listen, but some words came around your ears, like a bunch of numbers, such as “two”, “four” and “three”.
The man stayed put for about an hour before stepping up. He came back to the counter.
“Listen, Y/N…” He started, a grave glint in his eyes. “If I were you, I’d go back home, right now.”
Startled by his words, your eyes widened.
           “Excuse me?”
With a sigh, he put his hand on the counter, conveying much more than just intimidation at that point. You knew he was not joking.
“Some shit is about to go down, and you don’t want to be here for it, you understand?”
A long silence followed. The gears in your brain tried to piece things together. You slowly nodded, comprehending the meaning of his words. He put back his sunglasses on and left the café without another word.
You told your superior you weren’t feeling good and as usual, he just shrugged and let you go home. You quickly changed in the bathroom and wandered on the streets. A part of you really wanted to see what was about to happen, but another was scared shitless.
“Shit, my phone!” You cried out, realizing you had forgotten your precious at work.
Was it really worth it, though? You figured you had the time to get it back and run home after… you were oh-so wrong.
You turned the corner back to the café and automatically noticed three black SUVs in the middle of the street. You could see rifle assaults from where you stood. You completely froze, you knew exactly who they were: the cartel. What you didn’t know was that the owners of the café had refused to pay them last time they came around, and now it was time to set an example for the rest of the town.
“She works there!” Screamed someone from behind one of the cars. “Get her!”
It took a few seconds before you caught that they were talking about you. Without thinking about it twice, you turned around and started running. You tossed your backpack down on the side way, its weight definitely slowing you down.
God, you were glad, at that moment, that you had ditched your work shoes for your usual Adidas sneakers. You turned in an alley, knowing all the nooks and crannies of this shitty ass town. You didn’t think anymore, you were simply acting under the adrenaline.
From the corner of your eyes, you noticed a shadow jumped from a roof to another on top of you. Who the fuck was that? Did they hire ninjas nowadays?
But you didn’t have time for questions, you also saw a few men on your tail, closing in. Out of breath, you found yourself in front of a locked gate.
“Shit! Since when do they fucking lock it?” You found the time to say, your throat dry and your legs shaking.
You tried your best to climb it, but it was all in vain: you could not do it. You cursed the Gods or whoever was up there until you felt a near presence behind you.
“If you know what’s best for you, you’ll stop and come with us.” Said a deep, hoarse voice.
As you turned around, you counted three men, all much bigger and stronger than you, and they had guns. One was pointed right at your chest. You knew you had no other choice than following them back to the café. But what would they do to you then? Torture you in front of the owners to get their money? Or worse, kill you?
You started to wonder if your life was really worth all that trouble… What had you achieved in all these twenty-three years? Nothing. And you probably never would.
You closed your eyes, gathering your courage to run up that fence, or at least try, but before you could do it…
“That’s no way to talk to a lady.”
A voice came from above you. You and the three men looked up: a man was standing on the fire escape from the building next to you. He was pointing a gun directly at your enemies. He had a black hoodie, a few strands of blond hair falling out of it and, as much as you could see them, bright blue/green eyes.
“One versus three, boy.” Retorted the criminal to your, perhaps, savior, a disgusting look of satisfaction creeping on his face.
The blond smiled when a red dot appeared on the first man’s chest, it wasn’t coming from his gun. Somebody else was around.
“Try two.” Your savior replied. “And I don’t think you want to test how quick my friend is with a sniper.”
The three men looked at each other, clearly stroked with fear. You’d hoped they would’ve stood down, but instead they puffed their chests, like douchebags in a club trying to impress brainless thots.
“As you wish.” Said your savior with a thick British accent you hadn’t noticed until now.
A few seconds, barely a breath later, the blond shot one of the cartel man who was standing in the back as the front one fell to his knees, a bullet lodged into his heart. The last one started to lift his gun towards you, but it was too late, he fell to the ground a moment later, dead. You sensed the large sniper bullet pierced the air next to you, but you didn’t move.
“Nice shot, Seven!” Screamed the blue-eyed man excitedly.
He jumped down for the fire exit’s stairs and landed right in front of you. He was slightly taller than you. After landing on his feet and hands, he stood back up. You could feel your gaze examine every inch of him, but you rapidly took control back, or at least bit of control back.
“I’ll take care of her.” He said as you noticed the wireless communication device around his neck. “Go help the rest.”
You supposed he was talking to the sharpshooter, but your brain couldn’t comprehend much anymore. How to deal with stress was not one of your forte.
The man took a step closer, provoking you to take one back almost immediately. He stopped, suddenly aware of how scared you were. He lifted his hands in the air, his gun already back in his thigh holster.
“I’m not gonna hurt you. I swear.” He stated, his eyes locking with yours.
Somehow, you believed him. Perhaps it was because he had just risked his own life to save yours.
“What’s your name?” He inquired, taking another step forward, a small smirk appearing in his face when he noticed you hadn’t moved that time.
“Y/N” you replied, your voice trembling.
“All right, Y/N. I’m Four.” He admitted, putting his hands back down.
Confused, you shook your head.
“Four? You’re with the guy from the café right? Uh… O-One?”
He nodded.
“We’re not the bad guys here, Y/N. Now, I just want to put you back on your way home, okay? So you don’t get hurt.”
“But… th-they saw me! They know… know that I work there and that I saw… They’re going to… You don’t understand!” You exclaimed, panic washing over you.
Finally, he stepped even closer to you. He laid his hands on your shoulders and pressed softly.
“Once we’re done here, there won’t be anybody left to hurt you, Y/N.”
Coming to a realization, you felt your shoulders slumped down. You didn’t agree with violence, even more with unnecessary acts of violence, but this time… this time it was different. Everything was different. The man before you did not seem like a bad guy, on the contrary, for a brief moment, all you wanted was to fall in his arms.
“I’m not sure I can walk straight…” you admitted, blush hugging your livid cheeks.
With that said, the man started to think: you could see it by the way he frowned and looked around.
“Okay, Y/N. How about you wait in there?” He said, opening a side door to a little shop you knew well. “And I’ll come and get you when everything’s done?”
With hesitation, you looked between your savior and the ajar door. He clearly felt your uneasiness since he lifted his right hand in the air and offered you his pinky finger.
           “I swear.”
You couldn’t help the giggle from coming out of your throat.
“Really? A pinky promise?” You chuckled, your eyes searching his.
Four smiled, a truly beautiful smile. A smile that could brighten anyone’s days.
“Like that, you know it’s the real shit.” He stated, lifting his eyebrows.
You sighed, but in the end, you lifted your own hand and took his pinky in yours. Even if only for a brief moment, you could almost feel the warmth of his skin making you feel slightly better.
He lingered a bit longer than necessary, you didn’t know if it was because he wanted to reassure you, or simply because him too was stuck in a state of both confusion and inner turmoil.
“Don’t worry Y/N, I’ll be back for you.”
Those were his last words before he closed the door in front of you. You heard a few steps from above and then… all there was left to do was hope.

Though You’re Many Years Away Part 1
Pairing: 70s!Roger Taylor x Reader (I pictured real Roger, but it could work with BenHardy!Roger as well)
Summary: Reader ends up getting a lot more than she bargained for when she somehow travels to 1974 and sees Queen live at the Rainbow.
Author’s note: This is the first fic I’ve ever written, so I’m a little bit nervous to post it, but what the hell. It was just a weird idea I had that I just had to write. It was planned to be a one-shot, but it’s getting so long I’ve decided to split it up into a short series. Probably 4 parts, maybe 5. Don’t think too hard about how the time travel works, it’ll make your brain hurt. The mechanics that are explained (or at least will be in the next part) are inspired by the time travel in @angrylizardjacket‘s Ben x Reader x 70s Roger stories (go check them out, they’re great :-) ) Also a bit inspired by the book ‘The Time Traveller’s Wife’, which is a bit weird, but very good. This part includes the first smut I’ve ever written, so sorry if that bit’s not great. Please comment or reblog, I would love to get feedback on this. Italics indicate reader’s thoughts, stars indicate a time skip (there’s a lot of them, sorry if it’s a bit choppy in places)
Warnings: Swearing, some drinking, little bit of smut (literally one paragraph, so just skip it if you’re not interested), mentions of pregnancy, tiny bit of vomiting
You weren’t sure how you ended up on a park bench in an unknown location. All you remembered was a feeling like you were falling down into the centre of the earth, and then waking up with a pounding head, in a strange place. Looking around, you noticed the sun seemed to be getting low, throwing a golden evening light on your surroundings. You could see a main road, and a little cluster of men in half-open shirts and flared jeans, smoking cigarettes. Wait, isn’t that illegal in public? And flares? Must be a 70s party nearby, you thought. Cautiously, you stood up from the bench, stretching experimentally. Your head spun a little, but you soon felt stable enough to start walking. You quickly decided to follow the crowd of people flooding down the main road. Most of them seemed to be heading in the same direction. Must be something on tonight, you thought. Might as well go, it might help me work out where the hell I am.
Suddenly, you found yourself outside an old-fashioned theatre. It seemed to be called the Rainbow, judging by the signs. The hoardings showing the names of upcoming acts contained a single word in big letters: Queen. No way, you thought. Queen were one of your favourite bands, and now you’d stumbled on one of their gigs? What a coincidence. You shuffled forward with the crowd, managing to slip in past the ticket sellers unnoticed. Thank god, I couldn’t pay them even if I wanted to. Suddenly you noticed something: more flares. Nearly everyone around you seemed to be wearing flares. There was a lot of long wavy hair about too, on the men as well as the women. That’s weird, you mused, is it a tribute gig or something? Your mind was humming with confusion as you moved with the crowd into the auditorium, when a sudden thought nearly stopped you in your tracks. Queen at the Rainbow. Why does that sound familiar? Queen at the Rainbow. Queen at the – Oh that’s right, there’s a live album, you remembered. Queen at the Rainbow ’74. Wait, ’74? They played the Rainbow in 1974. Realisation hit you like a freight train. I can’t be in 1974, I just can’t be. How could I be in 1974? How did I get here?
You were startled out of your shocked trance by a loud cheer. The music had started, and the band soon appeared, to another cheer, even louder than before. Once they started to play, there was no disputing it. You were watching early Queen, deep in their ‘glam rock’ phase. Freddie Mercury was utterly recognisable with his long dark hair, eyeliner and black-painted nails. Fuck, I’m at a Queen show in 1974. After a couple of songs you decided to accept whatever glitch in the universe had brought you here and just enjoy the show. It was a great show too. You had always wished you could have seen Queen play with Freddie, but knew it would never be possible. You hadn’t even been born for many years after Queen’s last concert in 1986, indeed, by the time you were born Freddie Mercury was dead. And yet, here you were watching him perform live, utterly entranced.
All too soon, the show was over. The buzzing crowd flooded out of the theatre and into a pub down the street. You went with them, wondering if the band would follow. Sure enough, all four members of Queen soon appeared in the pub, to scattered cheers and raised glasses. You headed for the bar, hoping somebody might buy you a drink. You would have bought one yourself but you had no money on you. It seemed you had travelled to 1974 with only the clothes on your back. You found a stool in a quiet corner and settled in to people watch. You had a feeling, a gut feeling you supposed, that this little trip to the 70s wasn’t going to last very long, so you decided you might as well soak it up while you could. Your stool coincidentally gave you an excellent view of the table all four members of Queen had chosen to sit at. They looked relaxed, rapidly emptying beers in hand, surrounded by a veritable flock of admiring girls. You started to scan the rest of the pub, soaking up the vibe, when you noticed movement at the band’s table. Someone was coming to the bar, heading almost directly for you. You turned towards them, and saw long golden hair and an open shirt weaving towards you.
You’d always thought early-70s Roger Taylor was the best looking member of Queen. Well, the early 70s was their best-looking era in your opinion, but the golden-haired, blue-eyed drummer was clearly the most attractive. Not that the rest of them weren’t easy on the eyes, but Roger was definitely your favourite. Now you were in a pub in 1974, and he was walking straight towards you. Well shit. This could be interesting.
He came up to the bar next to your stool. “Another round of beers thanks” he asked the bartender. Suddenly he turned to you, almost as if he could feel your eyes on you. “Hello” he said gently, “I’m Roger.” He held his hand out to you, smiling cheekily…flirtatiously? “Y/N. Hi” You shook his hand uncertainly. He continued to smile at you, his eyes crinkling, until you glanced down from his gaze, grinning nervously. “You’re cute. Can I buy you a drink?” Your head snapped up at the sound of his voice. He was definitely flirting now. “Okay. Gin and tonic please” You asked, smiling brightly. Roger added your order to his beers and turned back to you. “What brings a pretty girl like you to a pub like this?” The cheeky grin had reappeared. “I, um, I saw the band before. Good show, by the way” you stuttered, suddenly unsure what to say. His smile widened. “You’re a fan then?” Oh, if you only knew, you thought dreamily. “I guess you could say that” you responded, now smiling flirtatiously yourself. “Well then, what’s your favourite-” Roger’s question was cut off by the sudden reappearance of the bartender. You grabbed your drink while he gathered up the beers. “Want to meet the rest of the band?” He asked as he carefully stood up, laden with glasses. You jumped off your stool, careful not to spill any of your drink. “I’d love to” you beamed, perhaps a little too enthusiastic. Roger didn’t notice though, leading carefully back through the crowd to Queen’s table. Shit, you thought frantically, I’m going to meet Queen. Queen! Oh God, what do I say? I can’t mention the future, what if I break time or something? Have to be careful. Shit. Shit.
“More drinks! Lovely! About time Roger, what were you doing over there darling?” Freddie grinned mischievously from the opposite side of his table as he spotted you shuffling along behind his bandmate. Roger rolled his eyes. “Oh shut it Fred. Everyone, this is Y/N. Y/N, this is Freddie, obviously, that’s Brian” -  the gangly, curly-haired guitarist waved cheerfully from his seat on Freddie’s left – “and that’s John. But we all call him Deaky” The bassist nodded shyly from Freddie’s other side, tucked into the corner. It took most of your determination not to gush hopelessly over the. Actual. Real-life. Queen. But you managed it. Just. “Hi” you said shyly. Roger, now carrying only a single drink in one hand, wrapped his free arm reassuringly around your waist. It felt… nice. “Um, I really enjoyed the show tonight” you nearly squeaked out, trying not to gabble. Freddie smiled. “I’m glad. What’s your favourite song then?” You tried to think quickly. Fuck, I have to make sure it’s something that actually exists in 1974. Shit. Shit. “Ahh… Liar? It rocks, I guess…” This response seemed to please Freddie. “Finally” he said dramatically, “someone who appreciates my art. Good work Roger” You could have sworn he winked on the last word. The drummer rolled his eyes, shaking his head in exasperation. He quickly drained his pint, slamming the empty glass on the table. “Shut it Fred” He glared at the dark-haired singer, who just smiled naughtily. “I need some fresh air. Come on” Roger pulled you along with him as he moved towards the door of the crowded pub. You followed enthusiastically, finishing your drink on the way and setting the glass down as you passed an empty table.
The air outside was crisp and cool enough to be refreshing without chilling you to the bone. “Sorry about that” Roger murmured, gazing intently at your face. “It’s okay” you murmured back, looking into those gorgeous blue eyes. Suddenly they glinted with mischief. “Is it okay if I kiss you?” He asked, leaning down. “Yes” you breathed. His lips were on yours in an instant. It was blissful. He was insistent, but not rough. You opened your lips for him and quickly felt his tongue gently exploring your mouth. Holy fuck, I’m kissing the Roger Taylor. In 1974. Holy fuck. Your brain quickly slipped from frantic babbling to incoherent screaming as you felt Roger’s hands curl around your waist and brush along your back. Suddenly Roger broke the kiss. You nearly whined at the loss of contact. “Wanna come home with me, continue this there?” he asked huskily. I don’t know how much longer I’m going to be in 1974, you mused. Might as well enjoy it while I’m here. “I’d love to” you replied breathily. “Great!” Roger smiled broadly, his eyes crinkling slightly at the corners. “Let’s just tell the others we’re going.”
You could barely contain your excitement as you arrived at Roger’s flat. Holy shit, your brain gabbled, Roger Taylor’s taking me back to his place. The Roger Taylor. Is taking me home. Holy fucking shit. When you arrived at his front door, he pushed you against it and snogged you senseless for the second time that night. He broke the kiss for a few seconds to open the door, holding you close all the while, then pushed you through it, his lips on yours again. You kissed frantically as you crossed his loungeroom, shedding clothes all the while. By the time you fell onto his couch together, both of you were in your underwear. You mentally thanked God you weren’t wearing anything noticeably out of place in 1974, although you thought Roger was unlikely to notice at this point. Roger lay on top of you, his face inches from yours. You could feel him against your stomach getting harder by the second. “Want me to show you a good time?” he growled, voice raspy with lust. “Why else would I be here?” you replied cheekily. “Well, if you’re going to be like that,” he grinned momentarily, then kissed a sensitive spot on your neck, smiling at the way you moaned at the sensation. He dotted kisses along your body, his fingers trailing the path of his mouth, until he arrived at your entrance, already slick with arousal. He grinned up at you, eyes now hooded with desire. “Do you want me to make you feel good?” he asked huskily, gently running his fingers along your folds. You moaned in delight at the stimulation. “I need you to use your words, love” “Yes, Roger, keep going, please” You moaned out the last word as Roger put his lips to your clit, licking at it expertly. You nearly screamed when he plunged a rough, calloused finger into you moments later. “You like that, babe?” “Yes, Roger, don’t stop-” Your words drowned in another moan as he added a second finger, dragging them gently across your dripping walls. His other hand held your hips down as his fingers roamed your walls until they found the spot that made you cry out with pleasure. He rubbed the spot in delicate circles while his tongue continued to lick at your clit, applying the perfect amount of pressure. It wasn’t long before you felt your climax begin to crash over you. Roger coaxed you through it, licking at you until you whined from overstimulation. As you came down from quite possibly the quickest orgasm you had ever experienced, you realised again that Roger Taylor had just eaten you out like a bloody expert. Looks like 1974’s gonna be fun after all, you thought happily.
***
You awoke the next morning feeling strange. You were disoriented at first, until you remembered where you were. And when. I slept with Roger Taylor last night. I’m in Roger Taylor’s bed. In 1974. Holy shit, I just fucked the drummer from Queen. Wow. You stifled a satisfied giggle, not wanting to disturb the snoring man beside you. Even when he’s asleep he’s fucking gorgeous, you realised. You eased yourself out of bed very gently so as not to wake Roger. But as soon as you stepped away from the bed you felt weird. Very weird. Sort of… insubstantial, like you weren’t entirely there. Suddenly you just knew you were about to be pulled back to your time. Shit. My clothes are in the other room. You bolted out into the loungeroom and gathered your clothes in a flash. Oh no, I won’t get to say goodbye. He’ll hate me. Oh shit, what do I do? At that moment your eye fell on a notebook and pen sitting on the coffee table. You darted over, clinging carefully to your clothing, and scribbled out a note as quickly as you could. I stayed as long as I could. It’s complicated. I’m sorry. Y/N xx You barely finished the last x before you felt yourself lurching forward, feeling like you were falling again. You dropped the pen as you fell into darkness.
You opened your eyes to a familiar sight. Your own white-painted bedroom, in your own flat. You were home. The light streaming through the gap in the blinds indicated it was morning. Suddenly you remembered something. You’d had plans last night, before you went to 1974. You were supposed to go out for drinks with some friends. Wait what day is it? Where’s my phone? Retrieving it from your bedside table, you saw a stream of messages and multiple missed calls waiting for you. Shit, how long was I gone? You checked the date. The day you disappeared was only yesterday. You breathed a sigh of relief. Aside from the friends you were supposed to meet last night, no-one would have noticed your absence. You immediately sent a message to the group chat apologising for missing last night, claiming you were sick yesterday, and had gone to sleep for so long you’d missed all their messages and calls until now. You thought it was a pretty weak excuse, but your friends seemed to believe it. Besides, it was very unusual for you to even cancel plans ahead of time, let alone ghost on them completely, so you were fairly sure you’d get away with it this time.
Lying in your own bed, in your own flat, in your own time, you weren’t entirely sure your whole 1974 experience hadn’t been some weird intense dream. Maybe you really were sick yesterday, and it was just an unusually vivid fever dream. I don’t remember feeling sick yesterday though. You got out of bed gingerly, feeling sore as you turned around and stood up. If it was just a dream, why am I sore? Glancing down as you started to move, you noticed a mark on your hip. You rushed to your mirror. The shape was unmistakable. It was definitely a hickey. You could see one high up on your inner thigh too. And you remembered exactly how you got them. So it wasn’t a dream then. It really happened. It all really happened.
***
You never told anyone about your little trip to the past. No one would have believed you if you did. As time went on, you sometimes didn’t believe it yourself. It just seemed to incredible to be true. Even if it was true, the question remained: how did it happen? And why did you go to that particular day in 1974, when Queen just happened to be playing? Was it just a coincidence? Or was something more going on? If there was, you had no idea what it could be. In any case, after many days of contemplation you decided you were better off chalking the whole adventure up to experience and moving on with your life. Little did you know, that would be far more difficult than you ever could have expected…
***
You slipped back into your routine easily once you decided to get on with life. Work, eat, sleep, repeat. Your friends, thankfully, didn’t make a big deal out of your non-appearance that one night. You weren’t entirely convinced they believed your excuse, but they seemed happy enough to let it slide anyway. They even invited you out again a few weeks later. Clearly you were forgiven. You had fun that night, even if you spent a lot of it feeling decidedly odd. Not drunk – you restricted yourself to one glass of wine, you weren’t in the mood to get messy – just… not quite right. The feeling was still present when you woke up the next morning, but a glance at your calendar indicated your period was due about now. That explains it then. Just good old PMS. You hoped you’d start to feel more normal once your monthly visitor showed up.
A week later, though, and it hadn’t arrived yet. Maybe the time travel’s thrown me off? It must have affected my body somehow… But then a week late all too quickly turned into two, with no signs of change yet. The overlong cycle didn’t bother you much – cycles could be weird sometimes after all – until the day you went to eat some yoghurt for breakfast only to be wracked by a huge wave of nausea the second the smell of it hit you. You dropped your breakfast instantly and sprinted for the bathroom. Small and old-fashioned though it was, you always found the discoloured white tiles rather soothing. As you cleaned yourself up a few minutes later, enjoying the cool tiles against your feet, something suddenly clicked in your head. Oh shit, you thought with alarm, I’m two weeks late and the smell of yoghurt just made me throw up. I can’t be pregnant though, surely? I haven’t been with anyone in months. Except… prompted a voice in your head. Roger Taylor. In 1974. But that can’t have… seriously? I fucking time travel to the past for one night, one fucking night, and end up pregnant by a bloody rockstar? Seriously universe? Wait… Didn’t we use protection though? Now you came to think of it, you definitely remembered condoms being used at some point that night, but your memory was a bit fuzzy from about round three onwards. Round three… you smirked. Shit, that was a good night. Not now! snapped an angry voice in your head. Suddenly you crashed back to earth, feeling sick again. As you bent down to empty your stomach into the toilet once again, a single thought ran through your mind. Holy fuck, this can’t be happening.
Part 2 is coming soon! Please comment or reblog and tell me what you think!

Ben Hardy x Plus Size! Reader
Summary: Ben meets the reader for the first time at a photoshoot.
Ben wasn’t too excited of the idea of another topless photoshoot, he wanted to be known for more than that but his manager insisted.
once he had finished with his single photos he waited for the model that would accompany him for the next set of pictures.
To be honest he expected to see some size four model that he was used to seeing but he was absolutely stunned when you walked into the room.
You had a black silk robe covering your lingerie as you walked over to greet the blonde man who stood in front of the plain back drop.
Your smile warmed Bens heart as you stuck out you hand to shake his which he immediately reacted to.
The photographer instructed that he was now ready for the shoot and you slipped your rope off to hand to your manger.
Bens breath hitched as he saw how beautiful you looked in the set, your curves looked amazing in the red lingerie that complimented your skin tone.
You turned and gave him a small smile as you sat down on the chair infront of Ben as instructed.
He tried to not make to took obvious that he kept looking at you and he thanked the photographer for the poses he instructed as they were mostly ones that were looking at you.
For the final pose you were told to face each other, your hand on the side of Bens strong jaw and lips parted only inches away from each other.
As you looked into each other’s eyes, Ben had never wanted to kiss someone so badly.
After the shoot was finished Ben knew he couldn’t let you get away, he had to ask you to go out sometime but he was way too nervous.
So he ended up not saying anything as you had to leave as soon as possible to catch a flight much to Bens disappointment.
Months later the pictures were published and Ben was scrolling through his instagram feed to see something he was tagged in pop up which caught his attention.
@y/n_y/l/n: The lingerie set was just too sexy not to post!, these pictures are with the beautiful @benhardy if i’m not mistaken.
He felt his heart burst with happiness as he immediately followed, liked and commented on your post.
Ben finally decided to man up and dm you but not until days after just to make sure he didn’t sound too desperate.
“Hey!, had a great time shooting with you in London, maybe we could meet up for a coffee sometime when your next back?” was his dm, he felt nervous sending it but did anyway.
You responded a couple hours later with “Hello!, i had a great time too, and yes i would love to meet for coffee! i’m actually back in London next week if you want to hang then:)”
You guys did end up getting coffee that next week
And the rest is history.

Chapter 7
A Joe Centred Chapter! A thing no one requested but I wrote anyway woo!
Description - Ben just so happens to fall head over heels for a Mysterious Man who loves baseball and cracking terrible jokes. Mysterious Man also turns out to be the father of one of Ben’s students.
Warnings - Full blown relationship Hardzello, with plenty of angst, fluff and future smut.
Word Count - 1,442
After tossing and turning most of the night, Joe had been thankful when Beth climbed into his bed and straight into his arms. Although he was feeling like shit and was still shaken up by the whole ordeal, having his daughter with him gave him something to concentrate. The rest of the night consisted of Joe stroking Beths hair over and over, long after she had fallen asleep, and with her steady breathing ghosting his collarbone, Joe managed to get some sleep in as well.
In the morning, Joe spent extra time cutting his daughter’s toast into dinosaur shapes and using extra jam on the pieces he messed up. Beth didn’t take much time admiring the artistry of her breakfast and managed to scoff them all down in the time in took Joe to pour himself some cereal.
After breakfast, it took some convincing to get the Mazzello’s off the sofa they had draped themselves on, but Joe needed to do some things today and slowly but surely, the hours were ticking by and escaping him. Closer to mid-day than intended, they locked the front door and made their way into town, hands clasped tightly.
Joe lived close enough to the town centre that he didn’t need to use the car all the time. Their house was bigger than many on the street, had a good yard and plenty of growing space - handed down to Joe from his parents who moved to the town over. The small area Joe called home was good enough for him but he understood it didn’t appeal to everyone.
Beth preferred the quiet community anyway - always outside doing something. Her favourite at the moment was making mud pies and prodding Joe until he ‘ate’ it. His lovely colourful flowers had long since been destroyed and dug out in favour of his daughter rampage of mud-pie-cafe. There was a small plastic play house in the corner of the garden, full of spiders and other insects. It had been gifted by a lovely neighbour whose children had long outgrown it, but Beth prefered to be outside in all that means. The amount of times Joe had had to chase a tiny naked Beth around the garden and pull a worm from her hand/ear/mouth.
But right now, with no worm in sight, Beth dragged her feet. She was grouchy from lack of sleep - already so concerned for others - and slightly sticky from residue jam (also known as dino blood). Joe tugged her along for a few more minutes but when she simply stopped walking and dragged her feet under her, Joe gave up, stopping and leaning down, placing his princess on his shoulders as he continued into town.
Walking into main street with his daughter clinging to his ears, Joe stopped to greet some familiar faces. It wasn’t unusual to find the young Mazzello on her father's shoulders, and a friendly shop owner was even prepared with a lolly for her to suckle on as Joe stopped and nattered about the changing weather to anyone and everyone.
An hour later, Joe’s bag full of the weeks groceries, he made a familiar turn down a certain street. Beth, now back on her own two legs, squealed and started running towards the big building. Joe had to run after her, grasping his bag to his chest so the lettuce wouldn’t escape. Beth bounded up the stone steps and rushed through the open doors, still squealing.
Joe finally got inside, only panting slightly as he stopped in the main lobby. Having been here for the last couple of years, Beth hadn’t really known a time before her dad worked at the museum, and although small, she still gave every piece her full attention.
It doesn’t really change all to often, sometimes a travelling piece comes in for a couple of weeks, but the permanent features still needed to be cared for. Joe ducked behind the reception desk, greeted John as he left his groceries on the floor before following his daughters noises deeper into the museum.
Hearing some familiar voices, Joe couldn’t stop the smile on his face even before he fully came into the Egyptian area.
Rami was kneeling next to Beth, both talking a million miles an hour about the one mummy the museum has. They have a tradition to talk to the mummy as if it was a real person and quite often would make up stories about who they were and what they did. This time, sounds like the mummy was called Mary and she was a very pretty dancer.
“And-and-and she was really good at doing twirls!” Beth demonstrated to her godfather what she was talking about and stumbled her way through a twirl.
“What did you think of Beth’s twirl, Mary?” Rami stared up at the silent mummy before turning to Beth with a grin, “said you were magnificent, darling”. Beth squealed, blushing her way through a curtsy.
Joe hung back, leaning against the large doorway, happily watching his daughter and best friend interact. Truth be told, Rami was an important part of this rag-tag family. He helped Joe through his toughest times and loneliest hours, and when Beth started to ask questions about her Mommy and why she didn’t come over much anymore, Rami would always distract the little girl and leave Joe some alone time. When Rami told him he was dating the cute veterinary nurse from down the road, Joe had been privately anxious - would this new woman pull Rami away from them? Would she not have time for Beth or Joe? Would he be alone again? But the moment he met Lucy, he knew he worried over nothing. She was brilliant, fitting in as if she had always been apart of the group and the three soon became a four.
He already had his best man suit picked out. He liked to be prepared.
After he broke up the little moment and he, Rami and Beth had wandered through to the little canteen, the events of last night came up again.
“Man, come on,” Rami had his arms wrapped around Beths waist, who was now dosing on his lap after finally giving in to the sleep her body craved, “Lucy has his address”.
“Yeah, but it’s a bit weird to turn up to the house of your daughters teacher just to ‘check up’ on him”. Just so happened that the teacher was hot and he had a crush on him, but that was for a different crisis moment, “and anyway, what would I even say!” Throwing his arms up in the air, Joe leant backwards, plastic chair creaking as it was pushed up on to it’s two back legs.
“Um, maybe something along the lines of ‘Hope your ok and that dick didn’t hurt you too bad’?”
“Nah, sounds weird,” Joe stretched further, trusting the thin legs more than he probably should.
“Why don’t you just admit you’ve been having wet dreams about him?” Rami shuffled Beth so she snuggled into his chest, freeing up one of his arms and allowing him to drink his room-temperature coke.
Joe spluttered, losing balance and crashing his chair back forward, checks red and eyes wide as he rapidly checked around the very empty room to make sure that the people who weren’t there didn’t hear that. “What the heck man!”
Rami just shrugged.
“No, no, you know what, no, it was a stupid idea anyway and I shouldn’t have even listened to you,” Joe crossed his arms and glared at Rami, ignoring his flaming ears.
“But you did, because you want to go see Mr. Hotty and need an excuse,” Rami took another slurp from his drink as he stared down his best friend. They had known each other for ten years, there was no reason to play coy and pretend not to know each other's mannerisms. Like Joe shifting his eyes just over Rami’s shoulder meant that he was right but Joe didn’t want to admit it.
“Turning up at his house ain’t cool though,” Joe mummered, “‘Oh yeah, hope you don’t mind,’” Joe began in a mocking voice, “‘My bestfriends girlfriend happens to work with your housemate and gave me your address because I think your hot and was wondering if you’d like to go get a drink sometime?’” He finished with a pointed stare and arched an eyebrow.
Rami just shrugged again, “maybe you don’t have to go in so much detail and maybe some small talk before you ask him on a date, but yeah, that’s the right idea”.
Joe just groaned, letting his head fall heavy on the table.
(Did anyone pick up on the tiny, one word cameo in this chapter?)

It had been a few weeks since Gwilym had let slip about your marriage to everyone and the guys would not stop going on about it, especially Joe. The press tour was continuing in America this time and after a long flight with Joe going on about seeing all of the wedding photographs as soon as possible, you were more than ready for a soft bed to collapse on. You fall face first onto the plump duvet as soon as you enter the room and you hear Gwilym chuckle to himself behind you as he shuts the door, watching the bed bounce a little as the mattress adjusts to you.
“You alright there?” he asks as he throws the hotel key onto the side with a loud clatter.
“Fine,” you mumble into the sheet, “just tired.”
“Too tired for a little fun?” Gwil asks as he lays down next to you and walks two fingers up your spine temptingly. You turn your head to face him as a smile creeps across your lips and when you meet his eyes he takes his bottom lip between his teeth as if to coax you into making the next move.
“Hmm,” you hum, “what are you thinking about?”
He releases his lip and you watch the blood rush back to the small indent of where his top teeth sat on the pink cushion, then he licks his lips slowly as he studies your gaze that follow the path of his tongue.
“I’m thinking about the last time we were in a hotel room like this...” he trails off as he waits for a hint of recognition in your face as to what he was referring to, and when he sees your eyes light up he can’t help but grin smugly, “you know how much I loved watching you ride my thigh like that. Spreading your slickness up and down my leg made me so hard.”
“Is your cock getting stiff just thinking about it?” you whisper as your eyes travel down to his trousers to see the fabric straining already.
“What do you think?” he smirks.
“Let me take care of you then, my love,” you say as you lift yourself up and start to undo his trousers. Four loud knocks sound out on your door just as you’re about to set him free and he shakes his head vigorously as he places his index finger up to his lips for you stay quiet. He’d been thinking about this since you were on the plane and had stepped over his legs to get to the toilet; hovering teasingly as you held onto his thigh to steady yourself, and there was no way he was going to let anyone interrupt.
“(Y/N)! Gwil! Open up,” the familiar sound Joe’s excited voice calls through the door. You look at Gwilym as your hand stays completely still on the rigid outline of his hard length and all you want to do is feel his skin against yours.
“Guys, I know you’re in there, my room is opposite, remember? I need to show you something! I- Oh wait, shit. You’re doing it aren’t you? I’m so sorry! Oh my god I didn’t even think, I-”
“What is it?” you ask as you open the door a fraction after Gwil finally gave up and nodded for you to answer before scurrying away to the bathroom.
“Well you took your time,” Joe winks.
“Jet lag, darling,” you smirk.
“If that’s what you want to call it… Anyway, look at this,” he taps on his phone screen a few times then turns it to face you as a video starts to play.
“What the hell is this?” you ask as a cheesy romantic song starts to play and press photos of you and Gwil begin to appear as a slide show in time to the music. Your eyes widen with shock as emoji hearts are scattered around both your faces and Joe laughs at your reaction.
“This, my dear, is a tribute to the love between you and the gooey eyed Gwilym.”
“Did you…?”
“No! The fans did,” he chuckles, “and this was posted even before he let slip about you two.”
“Oh that’s cute!” you grin as the video ends and another one starts, “how many of these are there?!”
“Hundreds, especially now. Anyway, this is only half of what I wanted to say. Can I come in? This is a little weird standing out in the hall...”
“Oh, right, of course. Sorry,” you laugh as you open the door further and let him in. He heads straight for the bed and takes a seat on the edge just as Gwilym appears from the bathroom looking slightly flushed.
“There you are! Thought (Y/N) had gotten rid of you finally,” Joe smirks.
“Nope, just had a quick shower. What’s all this, then?”
“Take a look,” Joe grins as you hand him the phone just as another video dedicated to the both of you begins. Gwilym’s expression turns from confused to amused in a very short space of time and you both watch him laugh as the budget effects appear on the screen. When the video ends he immediately checks the comments and gives Joe a look when he sees something from him.
“You comment on these?” he asks as he cocks an eyebrow at him.
“Well, sometimes,” he shrugs.
“Unbelievable,” Gwil sighs with a smile.
“Anyway, as I said to (Y/N), this is only part of the reason I wanted to see you both...”
“The other part being…?” you ask.
Joe opens his mouth to speak then stops himself and smiles a wicked grin instead which makes both you and Gwilym start to worry.
“What? What are you thinking, Mazzello?” you panic.
“Nothing. Nothing at all,” he sighs happily as he takes his phone from Gwilym and heads to the door, “I’ll see you both soon.”
He exits the room and your anxious faces turn to one another as you wonder what suddenly popped into his head to make him act like that. Joe was unpredictable at the best of times and you’d all seen that look before when he thought of a ridiculous idea that he wanted to bring to life.
“That was...odd,” Gwilym finally says.
“How did you get on in there?” you ask, changing the subject quickly as you look over to the bathroom.
“Would have much preferred you in there with me,” he pouts.
You open your mouth to speak but the noise of both your phones going off at the same time stop you from acting on your intention to talk, and the two of you check your devices to see Joe’s instagram handle on the screens. Gwilym unlocks his first to see a photo of you and him posted to Joe’s social media with the caption ‘hands up who wants Gwilym and (Y/N) to recreate their wedding for us?’ and thousands of replies already.
“You’re joking,” he sighs as he shows you what the fuss was about. You laugh out loud at the thought of it, then start to scroll through the growing amount of comments and eventually look up at Gwil with a concerned look.
“You do realise we’re going to have to do this, right?” you say.
“What?” he laughs.
“Have you met Joe?” you chuckle, “oh, and now Ben, Lucy and Allen are in on it.”
You hand Gwil his phone back to show them the comments from your fellow cast mates in favour of a recreation just for them and he rolls his eyes.
“We’re going to have to do this,” he concedes.
lucyboynton1: we NEED this! Also, still waiting on those photos @y/n…
benhardy: they aren’t getting out of this one. When are you sending out the invites then Joe?
therealleech: it’s only fair, they’ve got an invite to mine ;)
You’re not entirely sure how it came to this but you did know that it was all down to Joe and his campaign on instagram that had caused you to now be sat around a large table with your cast mates after having just ‘married’ Gwilym once again. Fans had sent in numerous videos of the two of you, dedicated to both your friendship and romantic relationship, and you’d looked through all of them to choose a theme for this recreation. That had been a concoction of Joe and Lucy’s ideas because no one could decide on just one colour scheme or set of decorations, so they left it up to the general public and had you two decide on which one you preferred. It was something different to take your minds off of the constant travelling you’d been doing and sometimes, after a particularly long day, just laying in bed with Gwil and looking through the adorable videos were just what you needed.
“Speech!” Ben suddenly cheers as he clinks a glass carefully with his knife.
“Uh, I don’t know about that,” Gwilym laughs, “can’t top the one I did at the actual wedding.”
“Then what about a speech from (Y/N)?” Lucy smiles as she gives you a wink.
“Oh. I couldn’t...” you mumble nervously.
“Go on!” Joe chimes in, “speech!”
You look anxiously at Gwilym and he squeezes your hand reassuringly as he gives you the soft smile you fell in love with all those years ago.
“Okay. Speech it is then,” you grin as you stand up in your white lace maxi dress, “well… public speaking has never been my strong point but here we go!”
You look around at the friendly faces surrounding you and sigh happily before beginning.
“We’re beyond blessed to now have all of you beautiful people in our lives and we’re so glad we could share some part of our big day with you all finally. Now, to this guy...” you chuckle as you turn and gesture at Gwilym, “where do I start?! I’m not a huge believer in love at first sight, but I imagine what I felt when I saw him walk into that party the first time we met was very similar. I knew he was the one for me when later on that same night he asked if I wanted to go and get chips on the way home.”
“And I knew she was the one for me when she said ‘yeah, as long as you chuck a battered sausage in with them as well’,” he adds as he giggles through his words. The table erupts with laughter at the story they’d never heard before and he places his hand on your lower back as he looks up at you with baited breath while he waits for you to continue.
“Gwilym has-” you pause as your emotions come bubbling up into your throat and your eyes start to sting with tears, “oh, wow, okay,” you say as you clear your throat and everyone looks at you with glistening gazes, “Gwilym has this magic power that makes all my problems disappear as soon as he looks at me and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without him.”
You rush the last bit then sit straight back down to hide your face in Gwil’s shoulder as your tears start rolling down your cheeks and everyone applauds you. He kisses your head over and over as he holds you tightly and tries to contain his own emotions.
“I love you, I love you, I love you,” he whispers.
can I ask for a Gwilym Lee imagine where the cast wants to recreate his and yn marriage?sort of based on your Gwil and Yn being secretly married imagine the cast all being super happy for the two,and starting this idea on Instagram, and scalating to make it real & I was watching all the YouTube videos dedicated to the bromance of the boys and I was wondering (based on your Gwil and Yn being secretly married imagine) that (before) and after the fans find out about them, there are lots of videos dedicated to them, and its just super cute and fluffy, and the cast even come along in some of the comments

MASTERLIST
(i hope that whoever requested this, likes it!!! and i hope you all do too!)
WARNING: numerous mentions of violence, violence, mention of implied smut
Word Count: 4,179
Description: you are now known as eight. four can’t keep his eyes off of you as he desperately tries to figure you out.
It started out like a perfectly normal Sunday morning. You were at home with a cup of coffee in your hand while you're sat on your porch. The sun was rising and the colors in the sky were beautiful. This was your favorite thing to do on your days off. Your work schedule had been hectic, but that was your fault. Ever since your boyfriend left you, you tried to keep yourself as busy as you possibly can so you didn’t have to think about it. You consumed yourself with work and it helped, but only slightly.
At one point in your life, you were an informant for the Secret Services. You had been an orphan all of your life until one day, that changed. You were six years old when someone finally adopted you. You weren’t allowed to meet the person until you arrive at your destination - the middle of nowhere in Nevada. You weren’t adopted to be apart of a loving family, you were adopted to be groomed for the Secret Service. Your ‘father’ made it his mission to train you for anything and everything. You had to grow up too quickly. You never got a childhood as you were trained in every single class of self defense, weaponry and manipulation. They needed someone they could shape and mold into the deadliest human weapon possible - and they did.
When you turned eighteen, you were trained in the art of seduction. You knew exactly what to say, how to act, how to read people and know exactly what they’re thinking. It truly was a special talent forced onto you and you were amazing at your job. That is, until you quit that job. You were beyond amazing at what you do - they would say the best they’ve ever had, but that wasn’t the life you wanted. You wanted a family… love. When you realize you’d never get that, you went cold. You found yourself hating your ‘father’, hating your job… Hating life. That’s why you decided to leave. Run away and hide. That is...until you were found.
You made a life in a small boring town, with a small boring life and got with a boring guy - that is until he left. You were used to that now though. You had been on your porch and watching the colors of the sky change. You decide to get up and go get some more coffee. As you’re about to reach the door, someone behind you speaks.
“You’re a hard one to find.”
Suddenly, your cup is crashing to the ground as you whip around fast. You’re not even thinking as you fluently grab a man by his collar and slam him against the side of your house. You grab his arm as you hold it behind his back. He shouts in pain at the sudden attack.
“Holy shit! I didn’t think you were that good!” he hisses with his face shoved into the wall.
“Who the fuck are you!?” you scream.
“I’m not here to hurt you!” the man shouts. “My name’s One and I have a proposition for you!”
***
It took you several minutes to finally release the man. You didn’t let your guard down as it takes you less than ten seconds to evaluate him. He’s weaponless and you can tell by his body movement. He’s cautious and is more nervous of you than you are of him - as it should be. Your jaw is tensed as you stand up and tell him to sit down on the chair you were previously sat in. You listen as he explains anything and everything.
“We need someone like you.” he says once he’s finished. “I read everything there is to know about you. We need a charmer.”
If you were anyone else, all of this would sound completely insane and terrifying, but you weren’t just anyone else. You were you and you’ve heard and seen crazier things. This actually all made sense. Something about what he was saying was pulling you in. As if everything you had trained for was for this moment. You were already alone in the world, how would faking your death make that any worse?
“The charmer?” you ask with a raised brow. “That’s what you want to call me?”
One just shrugs and smiles as he thinks.
“That’s what you do, right? You charm people and get them to tell you whatever it is you want.”
You’re quiet for a moment before you step forward and change your entire mood. Your face softens and you half smile.
“I like your eyes. My mother had the same color as you.”
“Oh really?” he asks. “I get the color from my mother. She and my father-”
He stops suddenly and looks up to you with a surprised face. Your eyes are narrowing as you smirk.
“I see what you did there.” he says impressed. “You almost had me talking about my family life. That was amazing.”
“I don’t even know my mother.” you remind him with a smirk. “So... When do I become a ghost?”
***
You faked your death and finally decided to go watch your funeral. You were shocked to find that only six people arrived. Your adopted father was there as he shed no tears. Typical emotionless SS. You stare at the man you call dad and turn around to storm away. You were done with him, with everything. Your new life was ahead of you there’s no looking back now. One was by your side the whole time until you get to headquarters. You were the last person joining the crew. They were to call you Eight. You’re holding your bags as you follow behind One and into the abandoned plane that they call home.
“Everyone,” calls out One. “I’d like to introduce you to our new ghost. Meet Eight. Eight, meet everyone.”
All eyes are on you as you just nod your head. Your eyes scan their faces when you pause on the blonde who’s known as Four. You look away fast, but feel his eyes still on you. You look over as one of the men smirks and walks up to you.
“One says that your some big Secret Service machine, but look at you,” Three laughs as he walks in front of you. “So tiny. What does she do? Fight flies?”
He’s looking over at One as he laughs and everyone else rolls their eyes. You tense your jaw as your bags hit the floor and your hand grabs his wrist. You scream out as you fly forward and kick as his ankles. You bend over and fling him over your back and onto the ground with a loud thud. Everyone gasps as he coughs hard and tries to catch his breath. You stand up and act like you didn’t just do that. You bend down and grab your bags as you look over to One.
“Where am I staying?”
“If I show you, will you promise to never do that to me?” he asks with wide eyes.
***
One Month Later
You’ve gotten used to the group and understand the mission. One’s still doing some research on one specific person you’re trying to track. You’re sat on a chair as Seven and Four talk. You look out the small window and watch as One walks by.
“What’s up with One? What’s his story? How does someone become that rich, yet be so unknown?”
“He loves Wally the dog,” starts Four as he looks through old passports. “He loves his ‘beaver’ show. I think he’s an orphan.”
Four turns around to look at you and Seven, but his eyes stay on you.
“Actually, we got a little bet on if you wanna put some money in.”
“I’m an orphan.” you say with the most serious face ever.
Four’s face drops as he looks beyond guilty and embarrassed. He sits up straighter and looks to Seven and back to you.
“Oh… I-I didn’t know. I’m sorr-”
This makes you break out into a smile as you watch Fours horrified expression. He’s confused for a moment, but finally understands.
“I’m messing with you. I mean, I am one, but it’s no big deal.”
You watch Fours face as he goes through several mixed emotions. This causes you to laugh lightly as he finally does the same. He shakes his head and looks down - obviously impressed by how amazing your acting had just been.
“Wow. You can laugh.” jokes Seven. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen you do that.”
You roll your eyes and look back down at your hands as Four speaks up.
“I like it.” he says sweetly with his eyes on you. “Your laugh I mean.”
You look up to him as your eyes lock. You feel your face turn red as you find yourself half smiling. You swallow hard and clear your throat as you stand up fast. The boys watch you as you find something to say.
“I’m gonna go ask Three if he wants to practice.” you say quickly.
You hurry out of the plane and have to catch your breath. Four looks away sadly at your leaving while Seven looks to him.
“You like her.” he tells him.
Fours eyes go wide as he looks to him and tries to act confused.
“What? That’s insane.” he laughs.
“Oh really? Ask those hearts in your eyes.”
And with that, Seven turns around and walks out as well - leaving Four by himself with a big smile on his face.
***
3 Weeks Later
“This is bullshit.” you hiss as you pace by and forth.
You and Four got stuck being the ones to stay in a hotel room and keep an eye on a man that’s staying in another hotel in front of you. You have a giant patio that looks out directly to the man’s hotel room across a tiny road. Four has binoculars over his eyes as a large radio and a device to hear far away are set up on the table next to him.
“We should both be out doing field work too.” you say as you continue to pace.
You act like you’re upset over that, but that’s not the main reason. You’re alone with Four in a hotel room. The man has you seeing stars every time you look at him. He messes with your head and causes you to forget what you were doing. You don’t realize that you do the same thing to him. You need to concentrate and it’s too hard to.
“You aren’t at least a bit happy that we get to chill and get room service whenever?” he teases.
He leans away and places the binoculars next to him. He frowns and shakes his head as he stares out the window.
“I’m taking a break. There’s nothing to watch for. The guy’s not even there.”
He sounds frustrated as he stands up and stretches. You look away fast as he looks to you and stares.
“You know, out of everyone here, you’re the one I can’t seem to figure out.” he says with narrowed eyes.
You swallow hard as you just shrug. You walk over to the bed and sit on the end of it.
“Isn’t that the whole point?” you ask. “There’s a reason why One doesn’t want us to know names. We’d get attached.”
“Bullshit.” says Four quietly as he shakes his head. “Several of us have almost died for each other. If that’s not being attached, then I don’t know what is.”
You silently watch him as he begins pacing the room now. His hands are on his hips as he keeps speaking.
“I know maybe two things about you. You worked for the SS and you were an orphan. That’s it. I know more about everyone else than I do you.”
He seems almost frustrated as you stand up and narrow your eyes.
“Why does it matter so much to you?”
He stops walking and turns to face you. His cheeks are pink as his lips are parted - deep in thought. He just shrugs as his eyes go wide slightly.
“I mean… It-it doesn’t matter. I just…”
He continues speaking almost gibberish as you slowly walk up to him and find yourself only inches away. Four straightens himself up and stares into your eyes as he goes serious. You raise a brow and look to his lips, then back to his eyes.
“Do you want to kiss me?” you ask fast, catching him off guard.
You already knew the answer. You know how to watch for signs and Four was definitely letting off signs that he wanted you. You’ve known that from the moment you met him. It wasn’t a secret. You’re just better at hiding your feelings.
“What?” he whispers. “Um, I don’t kn… I don’t know-”
Before his can fully answer, you lunge forward and land your lips on his. Four gasps slightly at your sudden actions, but quickly goes along with it. The kiss is hot and fast as your hands travel up and down each others bodies. Four cups your face with his hands and begins slowly walking towards the bed. The back of your legs hit it as you fall onto your back. He’s looking down at you with hunger in his eyes.
“How did you know I wanted to kiss you?” he asks.
Suddenly, he leans forward and grabs your hips as he harshly flips you over on your stomach. You moan as he leans forward and presses his chest with your back. He kisses your neck and shoulder as your eyes flutter closed.
“I’m just really good at my job.” you tease, causing Four to almost growl in your ear.
He leans away and flips you back over. He kisses down your neck and slowly trails down your chest.
“Wait,” he says out of breath as he looks up to you. “Can I know your name?”
You tense your jaw as you smirk down to him.
“Maybe one day.” you whisper.
Four watches you with dark eyes as he shakes his head and laughs. He goes back to kissing you as he slowly makes his way down in between your thighs. Your eyes squeeze closed as your back arches up from the bed. Man, did you love being right.
***
Several months have passed as you all are still on the hunt for the man One wants to find. You all got word that he’s walking around an outside town plaza that’s filled with shops and people. You’ve partnered with Three as the two of you keep your eye out for the man.
“Remember what he looks like?” he asks you quietly.
You both have large sunglasses on as you peer around secretly.
“Yep.” you tell him when you spot Four on the other side of the road.
He’s watching you and gives you a small wink. You fight back a smile as you lightly shake your head and look away. The two of you have secretly had a fling ever since the night in the hotel. Nobody knows about it and you want it to stay that way.
“Eight!” harshly whispers Three as his eyes spot something about five shops away.
You look over fast and freeze. The man you’re trying to locate has been spotted, but he’s surrounded by three men in black outfits.
“We have eyes on him.” you say low into your headpiece.
“Don’t let him leave your sight!” shouts One through your ear.
“Copy.” is all you say back.
Suddenly, the man turns his head and he locks onto you. He narrows his eyes as he concentrates. Your heart almost stops beating as his face falls. All of you had almost gotten him a few weeks ago, but the mission was a bust. You did your part perfectly as you seduced him back to his room. It was the rest of the crew that had messed up. You had a knife to your throat, but luckily you knew how to fight your way out of that. He got away, but not for long.
You know for a fact that he’s recognized you. You’re panicking as Three walks beside you and looks around fast. Four realizes that you’ve been compromised as he begins to freak out.
“He spots them!” he hisses into the earpiece. “He sees them!”
Three grabs your wrist and forces you to look at him. The man and his small army begin walking your way as his eyes were still glued to you. You stare at Three as you begin to rub his arm and laugh as if he’s said something funny. He looks at you confused until he understands. He joins in as the man gets closer. You swallow hard just as he whispers to you.
“Go along with me.”
You’re confused as he grabs your face and begins kissing you like crazy. You’re taken aback, but finally go with it. You grab at his face as you speed up the kiss. His hands are flying all over your body as you try to hide both of your faces. Four is watching you two with wide eyes and a jealous heart. He tenses his jaw and absolutely hates watching another man touch you like he does. The two of you continue when you hear One pop up on your earpiece.
“What in god's name is that noise?” he asks. “Is… Is someone kissing!?”
Four clears his throat as he watches the man look at you two and quietly pass by with no interruptions. When it’s all clear, you shove Three away and wipe your mouth off. You’re breathing hard as you look for the man and spot him rounding the corner.
“Let’s go.” you say as you look to Four.
He’s watching you closely and raises a brow. You give him a sympathetic smile and shrug. You all begin to slowly make your way closer to the man. Three’s behind you as you slowly round the corner by yourself. Just as you do, there are screams all around as everyone begins running away. Four doesn’t understand what’s happening as he sprints to find you. He rounds the corner and stops. The man has you with his arm around your chest and a gun to your head. You’re remaining calm, but Four can see the terror in your eyes. The rest of the three men all have their guns drawn and pointed at Four and Three.
“Let her go!” shouts Four loudly.
His face was red with anger as he balls his hands into fists at his side. The man just laughs as he jerks you around with him. His squeeze tightens as you gasp. You can’t look away from Four as he stares at you.
“You think the two of you can take out the four of us!?” he laughs.
Suddenly, in less than two seconds, a quiet bullet flies through the air and in one quick motion - pierces all three of the men in the head. They happened to be in a perfect row as Seven fired. Three birds with one bullet. They fall to the ground as everyone flinches. The man looks at the dead men and now he’s the one with fear in his eyes. He looks back to Four and Three as he pushes the gun even harder against your head.
“I’ll kill her!” he screams.
All of a sudden, the man goes still as he thinks. He tenses his jaw and suddenly lets out a loud shout.
“You’re going to kill me anyways!” he screams.
He then grabs your neck and turns you around to face him. He’s squeezing tight as he flings you to the ground and you hit your back harshly. All of the wind is knocked out of you as you gasp. You hear Four screaming something when a loud bang is heard. It’s as if everything went in slow motion. The bullet ripped through the air and hit you in the shoulder. You were in complete shock as the pain hadn’t hit you yet.
Just as the man pulled his trigger, he was down on the ground in a matter of seconds. Your vision became blurry as you look around and see doubles of everything. Four is down at your side as he holds your head and tries talking to you. He’s crying hard as he shakes his head no repeatedly. Three is next to you as he presses down on the wound to stop the bleeding.
“Eight’s been shot!” he screams. “She’s been shot! We need Five!”
“Stay with us! You’re going to be okay! Don’t close your eyes!”
You were losing a lot of blood and you knew it. Your head was light and there was a light ring in your ears. You listen as others from the group finally show up and rushed to help.
“Please don’t leave me!” Four begs with a harsh whisper.
You flutter your eyes and slowly open to look at him once more. He’s watching you as you slightly smile and then wince from the pain. Five was trying to get the bullet out as fast as she can. You ignore it as you look back to him.
“Y/n,” you say quietly.
Fours face drops as more tears rush down his cheeks.
“What?” he asks shocked.
“You said we’ve all almost died for each other and you don’t even know our names. It’s y/n.”
Four finally understands as his face scrunches up and turns red as another wave of tears hits him hard. His breathing is hitched as he runs his hand against your cheek and smiles - his chin quivering.
“That’s a beautiful name.” he whispers. “I’m Billy.”
You smile more as your eyes flutter closed and your hand cups his face gently.
“Bill…” you trail off as sleep starts to hit you. “Billy…” you barely whisper.
Your hand falls to your side as Billy’s eyes go wide. He grabs your face and tries to wake you back up.
“Y/n?! Wake up, y/n!? Please wake up! Don’t leave me!”
He’s screaming loudly as Seven walks up and tries to pull him back. He’s fighting against him as he watches your lifeless body just laying there.
“Give me room!” shouts Five as she tries to still remove the bullet.
“I didn’t get to tell her!” Billy cries out. “I need to tell her!”
Seven grabs Billy’s shoulder and turns him around to look at him. He lowers his head and looks him in the eye.
“She loves you too, man.” he says quietly, causing Billy to go still.
Seven must have known all along and never said a word. Billy’s heart breaks as he continues to look at him in shock.
“She loves you too.”
Billy is silent as Seven brings him in for a hug. Seven was right, you loved him too.
***
2 Days Later
“Mmm,” you groan in your sleep as your eyes squeeze together.
You move your head around as someone begins yelling out for Five.
“She’s waking up! She’s waking up!”
You take in a deep breath as your eyes flutter open, but fall closed again. You groan some more when you hear voices surrounding you.
“Eight?” Five asks with a slow tone of voice. “Eight? If you can hear us, try to open your eyes.”
You do hear her. Your eyes flutter open once more and this time they stay half open. You’re peeking out as you spot a blurry version of Five, Billy and Three. They’re all staring at you with worried expressions. Your eyes scan to Billy as they slowly close once more. This time, a smirk fills your face.
“You look nothing like a Billy.” you barely whisper, causing him to laugh loudly.
He was beyond happy that you’re awake and okay. Tears are in his eyes as he smiles huge, as does everyone else. He kneels next to your bed as his hand gently runs through your hair.
“I was so worried about you.” he whispers.
You open your eyes and half smile at his soft expression.
“Is it because you like me?” you tease as you slightly laugh, your eyes closing once more.
Billy’s quiet for a moment as he leans forward more and gently runs his fingers over your cheek.
“It’s the other ‘L’ word… actually.” he whispers for only you to hear.
You’re taken aback as you look to him fast. Your face is serious, but turns into a small smile. You move your hand over as you grab his. He lightly gives it a squeeze as he brings it up to his mouth and kisses it.
“I… I ‘L’ you too.” you tease with a smirk.
Billy looks beyond thrilled that you had just said it back to him. He can’t stop smiling as he bends down and softly kisses you.
The girl who wanted a family, finally did. The girl who wanted to be needed, finally is. The girl who wanted to be loved, finally was.

Ben Hardy Fanfiction | When I Kissed You p. 4
Chapter four: The hotel room
Chapters SONG: Breakfast can wait - Prince
Word count: 968 words.
Narrator's POV
Her eyes were heavy and her head pounded as if someone had hit her with a hammer.
"Wow, how much did I drink last night?", she asked herself.
She turned around on the bed and moaned.
"Good morning, Barbs"
Her eyes shot open.
Barbara's POV
"Wooow, why do I feel so offended by that look?"
Ben was standing in front of me, he was wearing a bath robe and held a glass of water with a hand, with the other he was passing a towel through his wet hair. My thoughts darted between WHAT THE FUUUUUU?! and IS HE WEARING SOMETHING UNDER THAT ROBE?!
I sat on the bed.
"Have you ever felt how a terrible hangover just slips away when something traumatic suddenly happens to you?", I told him, he scoffed.
"Seriously, should I be offended or...?"
"NO!", I realized I might have sounded crazy so I adjusted my volume "No, you surprised me because I'd forgotten you were here with me. But now I'm just happy it's you and not any... stranger", I shivered at the thought of sleeping with someone I barely knew. Not that I knew Ben for years, but you get me.
"Is that so? I'm no stranger to you, that soon?"
"After seeing your tribute to Marilyn Monroe from last night... no, you aren't", he cackled and covered his eyes. I could tell he was kinda embarrassed because he spoke his next words in a low, insecure tone.
"It wasn't like that..."
"You sang Happy Birthday Mr. President to Joe!", I stood up from the bed, took the glass from his hand and walked to the window pane. "While giving him a lap dance, by the way"
Below us, the street was packed with people as usual. Above us the sky was blue, it was such a beautiful day.
"Hmmm, and how was it?", he rummaged through his stuff while I was looking away. I was pretty sure he was naked back there.
"What? Your dance?", I chuckled sarcastically. "Honestly, I thought you were a good dancer, but boy that was terrible!"
"Maybe if I danced for you, you'd change your mind", he suggested from the bathroom.
"Yeah, thanks but no thanks", I muttered to myself. "Where's Joe, by the way?"
"His room." He'd come back to the bedroom, I peeked over my shoulder and saw him fully dressed in a grey sweater, blue jeans and a pair of black Vans. "More likely in the loo, throwing away all that vodka from last night", I snickered and that earned me a look.
"What's so funny?", he asked while leaning to connect his cell phone to the outlet.
"The loo", I mocked him. He raised an eyebrow at me and passed a hand through his wet hair. "God you're so immature"
I bit my lip to hold a cackle, I loved teasing Ben. Then remembered something.
"Oh, today's Paul's brunch, isn't it?"
"Yup", he eyed me and then said: "You're going there in that?"
I rolled my eyes, "I'm not going, Ben. I told you!" I plopped myself on the bed and stared at the ceiling. "My flight to LA is today"
He lied down next to me and hugged me by the waist. My eyes darted in his direction, Ben was looking straight at me with his head resting on his arm and his legs, one on the mattress the other with a knee facing the ceiling. Suddenly, I felt mad, he looked like a super model that early in the morning while I looked like a hungover potato.
"Your flight's until 6...", he purred. "And it's only 10 in the morning", his fingers traced circles on my side, then up my arm until his hand ended up on my cheek and his lips on mine.
His lips were gentle, seductive, his breath minty. I glided a hand over his chest and it hurt me that he'd put on a sweater because I wanted to touch him SO bad! Out of the blue, he flipped my body on the bed so he could have me straddling him. I stopped our kiss to look at him, he was looking right through me with those green eyes, those damn green eyes (Hannah Baker who?), I bit my lip trying to make a decision. I'd promised myself that the thing with Ben would be a one-night stand and nothing more than that but everything in him was SO tempting!
"Then we have plenty of time", my voice a whisper. He nodded and pushed his lips against mine once more. Our kiss was becoming hotter, hungrier when Ben slid his hands under my t-shirt and the door was kicked open.
"Benny? I feel like a total piece of shit!", Joe's whiny voice echoed in the room, he was covered from head to toe in a blanket, his face pale and sad. I thought he looked like a child looking for his mommy. Then he saw me and his face changed. "What are you doing here, you whore?!"
"I'll take a shower", I said to Ben and rushed to the bathroom.

Warren stepped out of the small boxed aeroplane, squinting and using his hand to block out the sun.
"What the bloody hell is this?" He asked out loud as he reached the last step of the plane, his suitcase dragging behind him loudly. He didn't know what to do, only stare directly up at the sun that seemed to be a thousand times hotter than what he was used to.
You rolled your eyes and gently nudged him with your shoulder, "stop staring you'll ruin your eyes." You thanked the pilot and grabbed Warrens hand, the both of you walking into the nice cool airport together.
Warren and you had been dating for a few years, and every Christmas you planned to go home for the holidays your plans were put on hold by something.
Every single time without a doubt.
You had lived at the mansion since you were 16, and you hadn't seen your family since. Five years later you were finally back on Australian soil. And you brought Warren with you, not that he had a choice. You weren't leaving him alone on Christmas, not again. You noticed in the years of knowing him, Warren goes weird around Christmas time. It might be because he doesn't have any family to celebrate it with, but you never really questioned him about it. You were sure he had his reasons.
"You excited to meet my parents?" You asked him as you strolled through the airport.
You would think that a mutant with giant wings, walking through an airport would turn heads. But thankfully it was the 21st century and no one really gave a shit. They had seen it all before.
Warren gave you a side glance, "yeah I guess. I- I don't know.."
"Look, baby. They're gonna' love you." You stop walking and turn to him properly. "If you really don't want to do this we can catch the next flight back?"
A small smile took over Warrens face as you looked at him with concern.
He tugged on your hand as he continued walking. You lead the way out of the airport to the pick up area where you knew to look for your mother, but the thing was, she found you first.
You didn't even see the little woman running at you, and it left you wondering why Warren stepped back, that was until your mother was wrapping her arms around you tightly.
"Mama!" You gasped loudly before wrapping your arms around her shoulders.
You never knew you could miss someone so much.
The both of you jumped up and down, hugging each other tightly. You must have looked like a bunch of lunatics. After a few more moments of hugging, your mum pulled away and kissed your cheek before looking at Warren.
"And you must be Warren!" She cried out and latched onto him just as tightly as she did with you. Warren didn't know how to react so he went with one arm around her back.
"Ooh wings!" She laughed and patted his cheek softly upon seeing them as she finally let go of him. Warren looked at you in disbelief, he wasn't expecting her to be this inviting of him. As your mum rushed to grab your bags and put them in the back of the car, Warren grabbed your hand.
"I'm sorry for hesitating back there." He spoke softly.
You grinned at him and barely got a small peck in before your mother was grabbing both your's and Warren's free hands. "Let's go! Let's go!" She cheered and pulled you both to the car.
Warren looked at the size of the car and then at you with a painful expression.
"It's only for thirty minutes, baby. How bad could it be?"
The answer to that was, very bad. You're mother yacked your ear's off the whole time, barely taking a breath in between sentences. Warren was basically sitting in the boot by the time you made it into your street and you were stuck in the front seat with your bags by your feet and some on your lap. Yet Warren still wore a small smile as he watched all the scenery go past, and he almost broke his neck tryna' look an old couples dog as they stood at the crossing.
"We're here!" Your mother cheered as the gates slid open and you drove into the yard of your childhood home that had Christmas lights hanging from every window and drainpipe.
It had changed a lot since you had last seen it. Last time you were here the gates weren't there, now there's six foot bamboo fences with a bloody electric gate and palm trees surrounding your house. You guess your parents really wanted their privacy.
Your mother and yourself got out, and whilst your mother grabbed your bags, you helped Warren out of the car.
"Y/N!"
Spinning around, you spotted your father making his way out of the house in a rush to greet you.
"Dad!" You jumped on him when he reached you. He spun you around a few times before planting a kiss on the top of your head.
He placed you down and smiled widely, "I missed you kiddo. Ah, this must be Warren? Bring it in son." You watched as your dad hugged Warren, who wore a surprised expression.
When they pulled away from each other your dad took the suitcases from your mum and told everyone to follow him inside.
You turn to Warren and grab his hand, "what do you think so far?"
He smiled and looked around before looking down back at you. "Not what I expected. But, I will admit, your parents are pretty cool."
"Cool?" You questioned with a quirk of your eyebrow.
"Yeah, cool. And they have an ever cooler daughter," he winked a you and leaned in closer.
"Oh that is so lame!" You laughed and threw your head back.
Warren laughed a bit as he placed his hands on your waist. He could honestly listen to your laugh for the rest of eternity, because it always took him by surprise. It would change every single day, and he never knew what he was gonna' get.
"Are you two love birds coming?" Your mum called from the porch. You looked at her before looking back at Warren and grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the house.
As you entered in through the front door, you realised that absolutely nothing changed. Well there was new pictures hanging up but that was about it really.
"Is that a beach?" Warren asked as he looked at the end of the hall and through the large glass doors that led to your backyard.
"Pretty cool huh?" You teased him. He grinned and continued following you down the hall and into the kitchen/ lounge room/ dinning room, making sure his wings were tucked in tightly.
"Well the kids get home from school in a few hours, it's their last day today. But how about you show Warren around the house? You two can stay in your old room. Then come back down here and tell us everything!" Your mum smiled at you and kissed your cheek before doing the same to Warren.
You could tell he wasn't used to people being this affectionate towards him.
"And are we making the tree later?" You asked your mum as you leaned over the counter and stole a few grapes from the bowl.
"Making?" Warren asked in confusion, quickly and quietly thanking you as you put a few grapes into his palm. He was beyond hungry and he knew you could tell.
Your dad chuckled, "pine tree's are hard to come by around these area's so we have plastic ones."
Warren was clearly confused but he nodded anyways. It was going to take him a bit more than a few days to get used to the Australian ways.

The reunion with your siblings was more emotional than you intended it to be. And the fact that you had to go through it four times drained you completely.
But introducing them to Warren was the fun part, they had never seen a mutant with such distinct features before.
"So you can fly? How fast? No, wait! How high?" George was getting worked up quickly and all you could do was laugh. George was always interested in that sort of stuff. Speed, velocity, ya' know, science stuff.
He was 13 now, and still wore ridiculously thick glasses except now his hair was in short ringlets instead of one big fluff ball. He inherited the blindness from your mother. You once got stuck on the phone with him for two hours as he told you all about his school assessment on biodegradable plastics.
The youngest of your siblings was Natasha, she was only 8 and was one of the biggest drama queens you knew. And that included Jubilee.
"If you can fly, why did you get a plane here?" Natasha asked Warren.
He wasn't sure how to answer, "uh, luggage, I suppose?" he sounded highly unsure of himself but Natasha bought it.
The last pf your siblings were Amy and William. Amy was 17 and William was 16. They were almost inseparable. You knew William would get along with Warren well because they were both hot heads.
And Amy was very much a straight A student. A Hermione Granger if you will. Always on task, carries a bottle of Detol in case of an emergency, and knows about six different languages.
You knew she was unsure of Warren, but you didn't say anything.
"So Warren, what's your family like?" Your mum questioned politely.
The whole lot of you were sitting around the lounge room, the TV on some music channel, while you all enjoyed some snacks and drinks.
"I, uh, honestly couldn't tell you Mrs. L/N." Warren spoke.
"Oh well, what's it like living with Y/N then?" Your dad questioned. Warren glanced at you with a small smirk and you felt your face burn as you kicked him with your foot.
It didn't go unnoticed by anyone. "It's good, yeah." He knew that's all he should say because if he said anything else you would have strangled him with his own hands.
"And so I hear you go on missions a lot? What's that like?" Your father asked him.
He opened his mouth to speak but you interrupted him, "I'll answer this one. The missions are good, dad. Nothing for you to worry over. We all have each other's backs." You reassured him.
Warren nodded, “it’s true Sir, I wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her." And it was the honest to God truth.
You were glad that Warren was getting used to your family. The real Warren was starting to show now, both a blessing and a curse.
As your mum got up and announced that she was ordering a pizza, Warren leaned back into you and you automatically started running your fingers through his hair. It was one of Warrens coping mechanisms to help him relax. You knew he was beyond tired, and getting irritated. The both of you were incredibly tired actually, but Warren gets real snappy and it never ends well for anyone.
"Tomorrow we're gonna' take the boogie-boards down the beach. Surf’s supposedly pretty good." Amy muttered from her spot under the tree where she was untangling Christmas lights and tinsel.
Warren raised an eyebrow, “boogie boards? What are those?”
Natasha laughed and called him stupid before going back to fiddling with her doll. Warren looked at you for help and an explanation as to what a boogie-board was
“A boogie-board, you know a small foam board for body surfing.” You explained with a small smile. He was still a little confused but he let you go back to playing with his hair instead of him craning his neck to look at you.
Warren differently didn’t expect your family to be like this, so, so relaxed. He figured they would all be, well, bogans really and really rowdy. Now don’t get him wrong, rowdy people are his kind of people, but there’s was something pleasant about relaxing quietly with everyone. He was glad he agreed to go with you this Christmas.
In the end, Warren had fallen asleep with his head in your lap, Amy had given up with the lights so Natasha took over and William and George were playing the Xbox. You and Amy were on the couch poking fun at the boys for God knows how long.
“Oh come on! You drive like my Nana!” Amy yelled at George who almost crashed his car. You laughed a little and shook your head glancing down at Warren who was completely dead to the world. He really was beautiful.
Your mum and dad watched you all from the kitchen with small smiles on their faces. It was almost as if Warren had been here the whole time, and you had never left them, Your mother already felt as if Warren was her own son, and your father was pleased with how Warren treated you.
They could tell this Christmas would be one that none of you would ever forget.
