okay i’m seeing the “bobby suggests plot lines from the 118s real life experiences and gets shot down by the hotshots producers for being too outlandish” but i think it would be funny if the hotshots producers and writers were suspending disbelief on a smaller scale than 911 does like having a workplace romance or being loose with the facial hair regulations and bobby’s just like “there is a strict no fraternisation policy in the firehouse. if those two wanted to be in a relationship they’d have to work at different houses—c’mon people this isn’t station 19!” or “are you even trying to be believable? firefighters can’t keep a beard because it’s a safety hazard, duh. no one’s going to buy any of this. i -i give up.”

Can we talk about how Gabriel's punishment was to have his memory wiped and to be demoted to a rank just slightly below Muriel's ? And how before that Muriel thought they were the lowest rank, considering themself "nobody" and rarely even seeing any other angels?
All I'm saying is maybe Gabriel isn't the first angel to have their memory wiped before being demoted to scrivener.

I think it is a little far-fetched to say that Pyotr Verkhovensky's feelings are supposed to be his "redeeming quality"... Like, from the perspective of a 21st-century reader, sure, but there is no real textual evidence to support that. The text leaves it open, and given that even in his last scene where he says goodbye to Erkel, he's portrayed more negative (not caring about Erkel's feelings, being flippant, going to play cards with a nobleman) I doubt that he's supposed to have any redeeming qualities...
Like, I get that it's a comforting thought to think that gay love in a 19th century text is supposed to be positive, but there is nothing in the text that really supports that thought.

Love looking at mushrooms online and learning that they're edible and have a secret evil twin that isnt. Like some thousands of years ago Grough decided to eat the neon-purple mushroom against the advice of his friends and lived to tell the tale. Bourgh, having seen this, decides to do the same. and fucking dies. I can only imagine he arrived at deaths door so fucking pissed

Okay, so now even HELL is suspicious of Crowley and Aziraphale’s relationship!
And it happens to occur in Blitz Era, when this scene took place!!!
WOT? Are you kidding me?!

Seriously! Like, Lando.. Come on.. Yeah be upset for a bit, we all can understand that but for a whole year?
This is a golden opportunity! They're not working for Mclaren anymore so all options to the road of love is open, my friend!
Just left without saying bye... Nu uh.. He gotta do better, but I guess he needs to be comforted first.
You wrote it so well, I wanted to shake Lando by his shoulders 😂
