and it’s honestly exactly why it’s so hard for me to believe that neither killua or gon (but specially killua) have any “hard feelings” after the CAA.

like, i do agree that they most likely are or are going to be focused on the healing aspect rather than ruminating or thinking abt the past, and i don’t believe that either of them is necessarily “mad” or resentful towards one another, but still: i just don’t rly believe that killua isn’t still somewhat bothered by what gon said to him in ep. 116, specifically how it made him FEEL and how upset he was abt it.

more than that, i also believe that killua feels some kind of way abt all of the times he’s “cleaned up gon’s messes”, as his self worth had begun to develop in the anime and esp in the CAA.

i believe the point of the CAA was to deconstruct their toxic & codependent relationship, bc as lovely as it was, it was filled with its own issues (remember when gon said it’s HIS job to do and say crazy stuff, and it’s KILLUA’S job to bring him back and clean up his messes? yeah… that’s a serious problem lmao), so they could forge smth greater, form an even greater understanding and respect for themselves and each other, which is what they desperately need.

and i also believe that this had an influence over killua’s decision to depart from gon (since he’s the one who came up w the idea in the first place, i think). i think the CAA opened his eyes to the fact that he deserves better than how he’s been treating himself, and how he’s let gon been treating him (which is not a dig at gon at all !!), based on his “talk” w gon in ep. 136 where he emotionally vowed to fix gon’s mess again, just like usual, but this time, gon would have to apologize. this says to me that killua’s aware or at least somewhat aware of this problem in their relationship.

i think killua realized that he and gon don’t have the best or healthiest relationship, and that killua gave too much of himself to the point where he wore himself thin before he was even truly aware of it. if they don’t separate now, they’ll just fall back into old habits, dig up old wounds, and their codependency and toxicity will just happen all over again.

they need time, they need to grow & develop apart from one another, and killua knew that. he also most likely wants to protect both gon and his sisters from the ever-bearing threat of illumi, and the only real way to do that, esp since gon no longer has or can use his nen atm, is to leave him. splitting up like this ultimately does make all four of them safer, after all.

I don't know what the common interpretation of this moment is, but I think that this:

is Killua being pissed at Gon as well as at himself.

Like obviously he still loves Gon, and his main conflict in this moment is feeling like he couldn't do anything for Gon's sake. But this happens RIGHT after Gon pushes Killua away and says that this isn't important to Killua. And even though Killua knows that's not true, he still can't fight back without making it worse. He's doing so much for Gon!!! But Gon doesn't see it!!! And I can't imagine that Killua wouldn't feel a little angry about that, even if he'll continue to do everything for Gon's sake.

Instead he's taking it out on an enemy--which is the correct thing to do in this situation, since he has to keep fighting either way--with no time to slow down and think about what he's feeling. He's just feeling upset, pissed off, sad, and hopeless. And he can't let himself think about it, so right when he fights Youpi he shuts it down internally to focus on the fight!!! Because even if he is a little pissed at Gon, I don't think Killua thought through at all, and using Godspeed on Youpi was a way of handling it, because he'd been taught by his family to deal with emotions through violence first and foremost.

It ends up all exploding later, where he realizes what he's really feeling is a desire to help Gon when he feels like he can't do anything (except to die with him...) but in the moment his anger could be a bit toward Gon, with the rest of it directed at himself for being unable to play "his role" in their friendship (that of stopping Gon) and being ultimately unable to calm Gon down and make things okay, the way he feels like he has to do.

he's just naturally a light walker and pretty reserved so it's hard to know when he's approaching

Leorio Paladaknight

he likes trying to scare you but he's actually so bad at it

he couldn't be subtle or stealthy when doing this to safe his life

you notice him 90% of the time before he can strike

but the other 10% he actually manages to get you

and when he does it's because you were probably distracted by/had your attention on someone else

Illumi Zoldyck

he questions why he even hangs around you

you being on edge and jumpy all the time does not benefit him at all

he actually thinks its kind of annoying

every time you jump at his unexpected presence he just looks at you like 😐

does not find it funny when you get scared and he thinks its stupid how easy it is to startle you tbh

Chrollo Lucilfer

he usually doesn't take advantage of your fears but sometimes he just cant help himself but to sneak up on you

he'll come up behind you and grab at your waist with a small "boo"

if your fight or flight response is fight, after the first time he learned to duck out of the way every time he does this

you 100% slapped him across the face on instinct the first time and he learned from that mistake

Feitan Porter

this little shit

he sneaks up on you to see you jump out of your skin

his ass thinks it's funny

and unfortunately for you, he's crazy stealthy so you literally will never be able know when he's coming

he also likes to set up pranks for you too..how charming

he probably puts fake (or real...) spiders in places you're bound to see them just to hear you shreek from the other room

every time he sees/hears your reaction he smirks to himself with a light chuckle what an asshole

sometimes he uses his stealth skills to hide in the shadows then jump out at you to see your reaction up close

Thinking about the Freecss family and losing my mind. A lineage of selfishness, a family of people who leave and are left behind.

Ging's father disappeared at sea, Mito's parents left the island only to die unexpectedly, Ging's famous abandonment, even further then that Don Freecs disappeared on the same quest Ging did 300 years ago. A 300 year old legacy.

Ging is who we see clearly abandon others, hides from friends and family alike and chases what he wants selfishly, but it's not just him.

Mito playing on the island as a kid, hiding away as Abe describes it "like she didn't want to be found,". Mito lies to Gon first about his parents' death, then again saying that Ging wanted to abandon Gon. She selfishly tries to steer Gon away, limit and box him so he can't abandon her too.

Mito abandoned Ging in a way too, didn't she? She'd been hurt from him leaving, so she tells him to never come back. She took what was supposed to be her babysitting Gon until Ging returns and tells Ging no, I'm not letting you abandon us again, I'm cutting you off first. She gets custody of Gon and tells Ging to never come back. The cycle of the abandoned becoming the abandoner.

Gon, of course, is the fresh blood in this cycle. He is abandoned by Ging, then abandons his home. His selfishness grows on his journey and hits a tipping point with Kite. He left Kite to die, so he should die too. Tunnel vision blocks out the fact that his death would mean abandoning Mito. Abandoning Killua.

"He's my son after all." Ging said and it must make you wonder, did Ging think the same of his father? Is that the weight the name Freeccs carries for its holders?

"Maybe I wasn't made to be a son" Gon said after returning to Whale island. It feels like a way of answering that question with no, to be a Freeccs does not mean you have to abandon and be selfish. Gon was not made to be Ging's son, after all, he came home didn't he?

• I think Gon would be happy that his S/O is taking care of him, it will remind him of home when his aunt took care of him

• I also think he would be very affectionate, like he would like to hug you while you try to take care of him

• He would really ask you to make him soup or something, and if you don't know how to cook he would ask you to make popcorn so you two can spend time watching movies.

• Well anyway he would want to spend most of the day in bed, I think when he is sick it is the only time he is not energetic as the normal for him

Killua Zoldyck

• I think Killua would refuse to believe that he's sick, well it's not like he's ever been sick

- Y/N please, I'm fine.. gosh.. - he says rolling he's eyes

• He would keep acting like that until you gave up and let him do whatever he wanted, he was about to leave the house when from the room you heard a bang and when you went to see what it was, it was Killua passed out on the floor next to the door.

• When he wakes up it will be late in the afternoon, you would be sleeping on a chair next to the bed he was lying on with a cloth of cold water on his head, I think that in the end since you were asleep he would pull you to bed next to him, you two would end cuddling!

Kurapika Kurta

• I think he would end up passing out while working at the Nostrade mansion, and Melody had to call you to come get him since when he woke up he still wanted to continue working as if everything was fine

- Y/N: God.. what am I going to do with you?

• In the end he was convinced that it would be dangerous for him and the other bodyguards if he stayed working in that state and went home with you, you would really like to thank Melody for helping you convince him

• You would ask him to take a shower and go to bed while you prepare something for him to eat, of course not before giving him some medicine

• In the end you would be looking after him for the rest of the night, but the next morning when you woke up the man would have left a f/f bouquet on the table next to a letter

He’s no stranger to having loved ones die so he vows to help and protect you as long as you’re with him

He thinks it’s sweet how you won’t eat humans and also is at first astonished to how far your powers can go when he first sees you in action, he’s sure there’s stars in his eyes as he watched you go all out when you fight, putting in your all

He eventually becomes a closed off person, locking himself away for long hours in the dark and it becomes a perfect time for you to comfort him comfortably without fear on being burnt by the sun

Its moments like these he feels truly blessed to have you, and he whispers to you to find a way to turn you back as he goes through the journey to avenge his clan, he promises and kisses your cold hand.

Killua Zoldyck

He’s obviously intrigued by you, you look like you can bring some fun into his life and you have proved you have

Hes a Zoldyck, he’s not scared away by your demon features like your sharp teeth that pierce through the bamboo, or your strength or how you hide away away from the sun.

He teases you as you hide from the bright sun but it’s never harmful, and he only picks at how small you look in the corner and who’s the sun is your biggest enemy.

“Your body looks so small, hey— think you can shrink any smaller so I can carry you in my pocket.”

He wouldn’t mind if you actually humans but he definitely sees you in a better light because you don’t, you still have so much humanity in you despite what’s happened it’s admirable and he strives to be as brave as you. Pushing through despite everything that’s happened to you.

He thinks you look badass fighting and will cheer you on even if it’s just you training, and he definitely uses your strength to have fun as he rides on your back.

He’s happy to have someone who’s strong and admirable like you in his life, and he swears to help you, and who knows, maybe Alluka/Nanika could make you turn back to being human.

Gon Freecs

He’s a judgemental-free boy, he was right and thinks you look super cool. He looks at you with twinkle in his eyes when he sees how easy you can scoop him up into your arms.

He thinks it’s cute how carefree and kind you are despite being a cannibal demon, you chose to be kind instead of giving in to urges your instincts Ms hunger your body has been forced into.

He could praise you forever, and he still will even while rushes you to a dark place, away from the sun, carrying you in his arms as he looks at you with his bright smile, running off as the both of you laugh.

He feels sympathy when he finds out how you became a demon what happened to your family, and it makes him respect you even more that you push through to be good.

Gon hugs you tightly in the dark room, as if you’ll die on him if he lets go, and declares he will help you as you mean so much to him

• Although, nonetheless, you three bonded like no other. But you'd always question why Killua was so touchy. ( Like swinging an arm around your shoulder, hitting / patting your back. Yk, dude activity! )

• Up until the end of the Hunter's Exam, he NEVER knew that you were a girl. Hell– even when the group rescued him from the Zoldyck estate!

• "Gon! Oh– [Name], too!" He mentions your name VERY cheerfully! Even hitting your waist with both of his fists– it's a miracle he didn't question the shape of your waist as a female.

• It wasn't until during the training in Heaven's Arena that he found out.

• "[Name]'s taking FOREVER! He sure takes his sweet time." Killua grumbles, sighing and shaking his head in a disapproval manner. Gon perks up and faces Killua with a confused expression. [Name] is a she?" He mentions, baffling Killua. "WHAT?!"

• And, said "she" comes out in her glory, quite literally wearing a SKIRT. Clad in a long beige cardigan, long sleeve white tshirt underneath, and a long khaki pleaded skirt that're below her knees for a change, SHE waved to the duo.

• During this interaction, Killua was STUNNED. What do you mean he's been SO touchy with a female all this time?!

• While this didn't change Killua's and [Name]'s friendship, Killua will ALWAYS be embarrassed. He honestly feels SO bad that he misgendered you for a few months.

• In a scene where he's already aware, his instincts probably told him that you're a female LMAO, he's like "You dress kind of funny!" Since the people in Whale Island usually wear long skirts / dresses

• But he's soso positive about it!! He's always like "Your style is so cool!" As he babbles about the traditional clothing in Whale Island

• In a scene where he IS clueless, he'll treat you exactly how he treats Killua! The difference would honestly be the softness on his voice

• Due to living with two women his entire life, he's gotten used to being softer on women ( as per Mita's words )

• When you both met, let's say in the Hunter's Exam and you wear like a soft feminine perfume despite your clothing he goes "Hi miss!" In an excited tone.

• Of course, you were pleasantly surprised because a lot of people would call you "sir" or "little boy / boy" all the time.

• In contrast to Killua, he read in between the lines and connected the dot that you were a female by your soft expression & voice.

• Now if he DIDN'T know, he'd probably go like "Hi sir!" As well, and since he was pretty forward with his greeting, you got to correct him earlier.

• But hypothetically, let's say he just walked up to you saying he wants to be friends!

• He probably found out through the end of the Hunter's Exam, or during the rescuing of Killua!

• If he found out through the end of the Hunter's Exam, he probably found out through observing your fighting style!

• If you fought with your fists, he found out with the way you move your body– naturally, a female's body would have a softer tone unlike a male who would be on the rougher edges!

• same goes if you use any weapons or special techniques :3

• You might be thinking– if Gon found all these out by observing, why didn't Killua? Simple! Because he was sooo convinced you were a boy and he didn't bother observing you!

• When Gon found out, he was straight forward! "[Name].. Are you by any chance a girl?" He asks in a genuine & curious manner, and how could you stay mad at him?! It was an honest mistake he did!

• You just cleared up everything, saying that you prefer wearing the clothing you wear for comfortability, and because it hides your movements easily to the point you can easily fool your opponent! ( get the reference ? )

• He listened closely and attentively, and he was really respectful about it too! Such a gentleman!

• ( If Killua knew beforehand ) Killua definitely teased Gon about it, humorously saying he was stupid for not knowing a clear thing! ( even when he was fooled too in the beginning )

• Through the times you three adventured through the world up until the end, Gon loved you SOO much! He loves you for who you are even when people make fun of him for choosing a girl that looks like a boy :)

• In the end, he was happy, even after he lost his ability to use Nen, he's glad there's someone who'll take care of him and his reckless choices <3

As many of you know, Rachael Lillis, The Original English VA for Misty, Jessie, and Jigglypuff, has sadly passed away from Breast Cancer at the Age of 55, It's still really hard to believe that she's gone too soon, And it truly breaks my heart since Like many Pokémon Fans alike, I grew up hearing her voice a lot in the Pokémon Anime. and Jigglypuff has always been one of my all time Favorite Pokémons, And Rachael's Voice Talent was one of the many reasons i fell in love with Jigglypuff in the Anime.

And also in the Smash Series as well, As Jigglypuff was one of my Mains in Melee and Brawl, and of course, Rachael lend her wonderful voice lines for Jigglypuff, and as of Ultimate, The Series still continues to Reuse Rachael's Voice Lines for Jigglypuff in the Series, (Same with Goldeen as well)

The two of you would often be perched on top of a tree branch as he casts his fishing line into the middle of a swamp. He would ask you questions about your past, how you lived in YorkNew City, and even about yourself constantly while he was fishing.

Talking to Gon is comforting, although he is extremely enthusiastic. You might find yourself baffled as to how he appears to be fulfilled while not harboring any unwelcome feelings or thoughts. But naturally, that wasn't the only thing. He would take you around the town's outskirts. And to pass the time if you were in his place, you two would play a variety of board games.

KILLUA ZOLDYCK

When Gon wasn't allowed to practice Nen for two months because of his injudicious decision of fighting Gido, you and Killua trained together without Nen because Killua don't want Gon to be left behind. Since neither of you was particularly talkative throughout your training session-unlike Gon, who frequently emits a lot of commotion when the three of you are together-it was really awkward and silent.

You're just reluctant to approach him because you two weren't really close. But even so, he would give you advice on how to grow more powerful and tell you about what you should concentrate on. As an outcome, the more you two trained together over the course of the two months, the closer you two grew.

The two of you are hardly alone together unless it involves training, combat, etc. The three of you traveled to Whale Island after leaving Heaven's Arena to meet Mito Freecs, Gon's aunt, and Abe, his great-grandmother. They were quite friendly to you, and his great-grandmother told you and Killua plenty of stories about Gon. Gon once left the two of you because his aunt asked him to go get some supplies she needed to prepare later.

You offered your assistance to Aunt Mito with the laundry. Killua was watching you as you washed the clothes since he isn't really sure how he can help you or do things like that. He would speak about his experiences and escapades as an experienced assassin, a member of the notorious Zoldyck family, and the future heir to the family to keep you entertained. However, it wasn't all that entertaining to hear about how he was actually tortured as a baby.

You also shared your stories with him when you were younger. Being from your typical family, you didn't find it particularly interesting. To your surprise, Killua laughed and thought you were humorous when you were younger because of both your foolishness and your intrepid nature. You attempted tossing him your left slippers, but he deftly sidestepped it. Indeed, the day was enjoyable.

KURAPIKA KURTA

(Prior to the massacre of the Kurta Clan)

He would come and see you in your leisure time and encourage you to read in the neighborhood library with him. You would undoubtedly concur that it is Kurapika after all. You two would sit side by side on the couch in the serene library, and before starting a new book, he would offer that you execute an exchange. For instance, he may recommend a book to you and vice versa.

The majority of the novels he read are far more serious than you may think. He always recommends history or biographies of philosophers who lived a century ago, as well as crime, mystery, and science fiction, works. Despite how much you like it, you feel a little ashamed about the works you're recommending to him since they seem so plain to him. [Unless you have the same taste w/ him]

Most of your hangouts are just solitude and calm, but you like that tranquility. Along with Pairo, the three of you are going to stay in the forest as you three would for an adventurous hangout. You would capture fish or other creatures that are suitable for human consumption.

(After the massacre of the Kurta Clan)

You feel much closer to your childhood friend now that you've seen him again. He lost his positive outlook since, as you are aware, criminals killed the members of his clan. If you were in his position, you wouldn't have any optimism at all. Therefore, you are always at his side to lessen his sense of isolation and provide him with emotional support. A conversation with him may be quite intense and passionate. He would often speak to you late at night about his unsaid emotions, his grief, his trauma, his enmity, and the survivor's guilt.

He's still a huge book nerd, so you two would borrow books from the local library and read them together while relaxing in the calm setting. You are just brought back to the past by it.

CHROLLO LUCILFER

(When you were still living in Meteor City)

Chrollo introduced you to Father Lisores, the owner of the church that you saw. (First chapter) And now, you're affiliated with him because you look like you're on the verge of death and he pities you. In exchange for your assistance with his charitable endeavors and your assistance each time there is a mass for children and other Meteor City residents, he provides you with a place to live, food, and other requirements.

Furthermore, you got to know some of Chrollo's friends. They all treated you well, but Chrollo is the one you get along with the best. Despite the difficulties of his life, he is bursting with positive energy. He frequently stops by the church and enjoys bringing you unusual items.

Most of your time together would be spent in the church's rear chamber, where he would show you other items and instruct you in speaking Gelman. (In the universe of Hunter x Hunter, probably English). His discoveries and his astute thinking never fail to captivate you. He frequently blushes when you praise him, but in all honesty, he kind of craves it since he wants to impress you.

Chrollo requested you, Sarasa, and Pakunoda to voice dub a Mighty Sweepin' Power Cleaners VHS tape into your mother tongue so that the kids in Meteor City could watch and understand the episode. It gave you an immense thrill to voice-dub the role that was given to you, and it warmed your heart to see the children moved and enthralled.

(Phantom Troupe / After the slaughter of Kurta Clan)

After Sarasa's death, Phantom Troupe was established with the intention of exacting retribution. You presently hold the fourth rank and are a member of the Phantom Troupe, a group of malevolent thieves. You two don't spend much time together since Chrollo is so busy keeping up his leadership role, looking for items that can be of great use to the group, or if he wants to steal a particular item. In fact, it only happens once in a blue moon.

But you can't blame him after all. Though when all of you are gathered up for a meeting, he would give you pieces of jewelry, books, and others that you love, which you presumably think that he stole, it feels nice that he's thinking about you.

While waiting for the remainder of the members to arrive, you would speak with them about significant topics and share what you had learned from your mission. His responses to you are brief since he is still engaged with the book he is reading. You feel sort of sad about it but chose to not complain.

FEITAN PORTOR

While the troupe was in York New, he would pay you many visits at the gaming shop where you work, and would practically gaze at you as if you were a ghost or something - well, he's waiting for you to end your shift. You can't concentrate on your work due to his scary glances, and he physically stares at everyone that walks into the shop.

You would advise him to cease doing that after your shift, but he would act unaware even though he understood what you meant. You two would saunter through the Saloma Mall, only glancing at the merchandise in the storefront windows, not bothering to go inside because you're saving up your money.

But there was a time when you spotted a bracelet that piqued your curiosity, but it was so pricey that your wage wasn't sufficient to pay for it. Feitan was aware of this but remained silent. After dropping you off at your flat, he goes to the shop where you spotted the bracelet you like and snatches it violently.

He handed you the bracelet the next day. Unaware that he had stolen it, you were perplexed by how he was able to purchase it. When you questioned about how he was able to afford it, he just said that they were confidential.

Feitan isn't a particularly chatty person, and neither are you, but whenever he comes to see you while you're at work, you strike up a conversation with him, and honestly, talking to him is much more comfortable than talking to other people because he's direct and doesn't sugarcoat his words, which is what you like best.

He just listens to your rambling while paying attention to what you're saying, but he obviously won't be overt about it. The two of you would play video games in your flat after your shift. Because he has a strong sense of competition, he usually defeats you. He constantly invited Phinks and Shalnark as well.

Another fic idea to add to my slowly accumulating pile: The Zoldycks threaten to kill Killua’s friends-- namely Alluka, Nanika, and Gon-- if Killua doesn’t return home to get married to a worthy girl of their choice, as he’s gotten to marriageable age. Killua sees no way out of this, as now Illumi has the whole family on his side, and reluctantly, very sadly, agrees. Gon, of course cannot believe Killua would agree to something like this. It goes against everything Killua stood for!

Cue multi-chapter of the friends Killua has made over his travels working together to crash the wedding and sweep Killua away, spear-headed by Gon Freecs himself.

-It would also take a second to register that it was YOU who he was with.

-Even if you two have been dating he would assume it was someone else since no one really stays there for him.

-I have a feeling he would be kinda strict with them, maybe a bit more than he should be.

-But he would most definitely love them and support them when needed.

-(Not really right now, but in the future when the kid was really little and got hurt from falling he would clean it, put a bandage on it, and than leave a little kiss.)

-He would be protective over this kid too.

-Like, he's ready to put some hands up and knock somebody out if they dare try and hurt them.
