I want to talk about my favorite detail of this scene. Right here, Link is carefully matching her movements, slowly leaning down as she does, and sitting slightly upright in time with her. He is focusing so intensely on her as she talks to him.

He comes across as so enamored here to me.

But also, like I said, his movements and eye contact seem very careful and calculated. It could be interpreted as nerves or shyness—that perfectionism in the way he interacts with others.

Or not, I'm not sure. But I love to see more of Link and not just his POV. His mannerisms are so distinct, and I just adore seeing him in this more relaxed setting, still a vigilant, focused knight; just happier and smitten.

Here’s something I originally drew for a Fan Art Contest organized by Nintendo France in 2017. We were supposed to draw our favorite character from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I didn’t know which one to choose so I ended up drawing Princess Zelda herself.

In French, they called these flowers “Princesses of serenity”, which is probably what I would also call this piece if I had to pick a name, but I like “Serenity” or “The Princesse(s) and the Frog” as well :)

I didn’t win anything but I didn’t mind; daring to enter the contest in the first place was already a huge step and victory for me.

Whenever I play BOTW/TOTK, I feel kind of bad because being the impatient person I am, as soon as I get access to hot-footed frogs, I am CONSTANTLY making hasty elixirs. I literally just get all armor so that I can be a speedster at all times no matter where I am. I just run around Tabantha region and cut grass, just COLLECTING frogs.

I'm literally playing in a way that's turning poor Link into a crack addict
