Feeling a bit under the weather so Sick (Mortal) Kai Headcanons!

When Kai got sick, he was always quick to deny it. Sort of had a whole "if I ignore it it can't get to me" philosophy towards illness.

Serious denial about how ill he was. "I don't get sick." There was always so much back and forth between him and Oogway over it.

"Kai, you're sick."

*congested bull noises* "...No I'm not."

"Why are you breathing like that, then?"

"Mind your own business."

*coughing*

"Oh, so if I feel your forehead right now, you won't have a fever?"

"...No."

"Come here, then."

"Take my word for it."

"No."

Kai is glad to be taller than Oogway at that moment, because then this conversation turns into a full-on wrestling match as Oogway lunges at him with zero hesitation or warning. And Oogway is not afraid to fight dirty- pulling his hair and horns to get a hold on him and pull him down to his level. Eventually Oogway succeeds, because Kai headbutted him- and of course, Kai's forehead is burning hot.

Oogway of course already knew without having to feel for it- Kai wasn't fighting like his usual self.

Kai: "Oogway, if I die...kill the doctor."

Casually during a presentation at a board meeting, Wonbin had the time to send a file to Mija's phone. Wordless, just a simple mp4 file containing a five minute clip of their inappropriate escapade recorded by the surveillance cameras the previous weekend. ㅤㅤshe thanks her lucky stars that most of the churchgoers were old and hard of hearing, because the sudden sounds of sin spilling from her mobile has her panicking — slowing her reaction time and accidentally increasing the volume before successfully turning it down as she drowns her own lewd voice out as her other hand paws at the lock to check it was secured. she falls back against the lid of the toilet, holding her phone close to silently watch each second of the small snippet from their night together. she shamelessly opens up the camera app before lifting the skirt of her dress, snapping a picture of the wet spot on her white cotton panties before hitting send.

It is very interesting talking to other people and hearing them lament that even though a relationship or friendship or situation ended badly they still are happy it happened and they wouldn't take it back no matter what because that is just so fundamentally not me. I wish I could think like that, I wish the left over sentiment was enough for me to be at peace with it but it's just not. Once something has blown up I just always want to take it back, if someone handed me a magic button to erase it all and go back to before I would do it in a heartbeat.
