i reallyyyyy really hope i hear back from the auction people this week i wanna quite the restaurant so bad but it would be stupid of me to quit before having something else already secured

one thing about being in too much pain to uphold social niceties (period and it's a bad one) is that i did spend all day at work not only doubled over and moving at a pace the ninety year old library ladies were lapping but i was even worse than usual at tasks like Looking At People Who Are Chewing Gum and "not edging away bugeyed when a coworker stands close next to me" and of course the perennial favorite "keeping track of more than three words spoken to me in a row and responding to that" and we'll let me merely say. it is just me and that murderbot. nobody else in this whole damn library understands

#flight rising #fr #like skins. but you dont have to keep dragon lineart n shadows. and can go out of bounds of the dragon #i think it sounds really fun in theory but a bit of a complicated mess in execution #amd would give staff a new challenge right after the skins were steamlined #id say custom apparel would need to be separate from real apparel but not sure how thatd effect layering #do you think itd be in pieces like. head. body. wings. arms. extras. etc #or would it be like skins n accents where 1 custom apparel could be a whole outfit and another “accent” option where itd be one or two items #idk. its fun to think on the potential. its a shame itd be a nightmare to implement realistically #oo what if only ancients could have custom apparel. thatd solve layering issues lol

It's one of the Worst spots for me in terms of imposter syndrome

I feel like everyone's uneasey with my presence as though i'm a stranger who just stumbled into their inner sanctum and they're.. they're gunna let me stay but they're gunna be weirded out the whole time and breath a sigh of relief when the Strange Unwelcome Freak Leaves

It also happens at record shops and sometimes at small antique shops or cons+festivals

Just this immediate foreboding of being Angrily Tolerated in a Space I Don't Belong

#monster noises #it's Incalculably stupid because 1) it's a store. anyone can go in there.#and 2) in all those locations... also like fuming w anger about my job rn cause they finally noticed that we've been taking til almost one am to close on most nights and INSTEAD of scheduling more than 2 closers they just leave passive aggressive notes on the shift plan about how we should Try Our Best to be out by 11:45. the implication that we take too long to close cause we're just lazy is gonna make my head explode

#even on weekends and holidays!!! when we're usually only staffed w 2 people from 8pm to 11 #and have customers coming in almost that entire time #so theres no time to do pre close cause we have to keep serving ppl #bitch if u want me to be done by 11:45 youre gonna have stacks of dirty dishes and dirty floors and nothing prepped for the next day #its not that we dont have enough staff to have multiple closers its that the higher ups literally dont let us have more than 2 ppl closing
