Yohan is a walking contradiction—frustrating and careless one moment, effortlessly charming the next.

He’s always running late, always caught up in something, and yet, the second he finally shows up, it’s like none of it even matters. Like his presence alone is enough to make up for the waiting. And maybe that’s what gets to her the most—that no matter how many times she rolls her eyes at his excuses, she still finds herself softening the moment he flashes that grin.

It’s not fair, really. The way he remembers the little things without trying. The way he listens—really listens—when she talks, like every word she says is worth holding onto. It makes her feel seen in a way she doesn’t know how to deal with.

She tells herself it’s nothing. That he’s just a friend, just someone she enjoys spending time with. But then there are moments—small, fleeting moments—when his hand lingers a second too long, or his eyes stay on her like he’s seeing something she doesn’t even recognize in herself. And in those moments, she feels her resolve slipping.

Yohan is trouble. She knows that. But as much as she tries to convince herself otherwise, she’s starting to think he might be the kind of trouble she doesn’t actually want to escape.

Ele nega veementemente, mas, até agora, várias de suas decisões ainda eram altamente influenciadas por eles: o que não fazer, medidas para se manter no anonimato, e muitos outros pequenos detalhes que nem o Seo tinha notado ainda. 

Mas de todas as coisas que aconteceram por conta deles, cortar relações com Alya tinha sido a pior delas. E não havia sido algo recente, não, isso era algo que havia começado há muitos anos atrás, quando ela mesma decidiu se afastar de si, algo que no fundo no fundo, ele ainda guarda rancor. 

Porém, Yohan gostava de ignorar as partes de si que não gostava, então ele não tinha todo esse insight. E por isso, não demorou nem duas semanas do dia do seu encontro no elevador para falar com o síndico e descobrir em qual apartamento a mulher morava. Indo bater em sua porta numa segunda-feira depois de deixar Micha no jardim de infância, isso, sem saber se queria que ela atendesse ou não, se estava verdadeiramente pronto para encarar ela depois do teatrinho anterior.

"the goal is to make a good song." that wasn't the question, obviously, but yohan never really liked defining his work in that way. sure, sometimes he preferred structure and having a clear idea of what he was writing but enough times, it was about how he felt. still, she seemed serious about helping him despite her odd ways. "but to really answer your question, i'm leaning towards 'pissed off'." he says it with a little more enthusiasm, like writing angry lyrics is something he looks forward to doing. and it kind of is. male chews on a handful of chips, brushing his hands of crumbs before raising a brow at her.          yohan makes it too easy, she thinks, considering the fact that she could push most of his buttons without really meaning to. she doesn’t smile, but it’s a close thing, and she leans in just a little bit closer as she bites down on her next mouthful — but she leaves it at that for the time being, unwilling to risk having him walk out on her when she’s only halfway through her first snack. “ like, is it a good thing or a bad thing? that the person you’re seeing isn’t who you thought they were? ” she asks, and she doesn’t have to feign interest, already picturing the nonexistent song as a mass of fossils waiting to be uncovered. it’s not the most accurate analogy, but she’s been watching too many dinosaur documentaries lately. “ what’s the goal here? are we looking at a song that’s kind of like, joyful at the core? is it sad? or is it just — stating a fact? like hey, you’re not who i thought you were, end scene. ”

yohan doesn't even think the loudest person would be able to snap him out of the daze he was having.

it was really just the loud music blasting through his headphones distracting him, he was much too focused on the movement of his pencil on the page to even notice that someone had walked into the room, and too focused to realize that person had been banging on the door for a good ten minutes.

maybe he is at fault for that.

it's only a tap on his shoulder that finally snaps him out of his daze, and he lowers down his headphones, turning around in his chair to look up at the person who decided to tap him. "yes?"

haeseong scoffs, not even surprised by his teammates behavior. "i was calling you for like.. ten minutes! you didn't hear me?"

yohan stares at him blankly, they both already know the answer to that question. "my volume was turned all the way up" he smiles teasingly, watching as haeseong gets even more irritated than before.

"anyway.." haeseong rolls his eyes, used to how yohan was already. "luca was asking if you wanted food".

yohan shakes his head, and haeseong was honestly expecting that. "what have you even been doing for the past fifty minutes?"

"writing poems" yohan answers in insane speed, sparing no additional glances to his teammate as he turns back in his chair and back to the papers that litter his desk.

haeseong raises an eyebrow, glancing at all the papers on his desk, just barely being able to read the writing on them before yohan pushes them all into his red folder. "is that all you wanted?" he mutters.

yohan just wants to be alone.

haeseong clears his throat, nodding. "yeah— yeah that's all i needed".

"cool" yohan puts his headphones back on. "close the door on your way out".

"what do you mean you want to leave!?"

yohan is more surprised at areum's surprise to his decision than the fact that his younger brother cooked the meal he was currently enjoying. "what else am i supposed to do? stay?"

"um? yes!" areum is much more head on than she likes to admit, but she just wants the best for yohan, and he knows that, she just goes about it in an aggressive way. "you said you wanted to become an idol!"

"i can't become an idol if my company won't do anything but just stuck me with like five men and make us just dance, they have nothing ready for us, for me" yohan exclaims, and hyeri hums around her spoon, not wanting to talk with her mouth full of food.

"you made this?" hyeri inquires, looking over at her youngest brother. yisoo looks offended, his brows furrowing as he leans against his cheek.

"why are all of you asking that?" he frowns, and yohan just snickers, patting his back. "do you not expect me to know how to cook with parents that are literally professional chefs?"

"it's all jokes!" hyeri yells, ruffling her baby brothers hair. "it's just that you were such a baby and now your here cooking!"

"i'm in university.."

"your a freshmen" areum deadpans, and yisoo gasps at the words. she ignores his reaction, turning back to yohan and putting the topic back on his idol life. "so your leaving, what are you gonna do now?"

"i'll figure out what to do after that.." yohan mumbles, which is code for: he has absolutely no idea.

"there's a company holding auditions" yisoo suddenly pipes up, and hyeri seems to have an idea of what he's talking about, because she immediately nods. "you could go there".

"rix's company! apparently they're creating a new boy group!" she exclaims, lacing her fingers together and placing them onto the table.

"rix? you have all their albums.."

"you can go there! they aren't even that far from us!"

"and how are you so sure that i'll get in?"

areum deadpans, staring at yohan like he just confessed to committing a crime. "why wouldn't you get in? you can sing, dance, and your good looking, your a package!"

yohan narrows his eyes, thinking for a moment. "when do they open?"

"next week actually!"

yohan bites his inner cheek, sighing.

"i'll think about it".

and that results in a cheer from his siblings.

for someone that seemed determined to get him back by her side, she wasn't quite making herself look good for him. though he supposes she wasn't the type of person that would change just to please others, not with how stubborn she was. yohan lets out a sigh, nodding in understanding. he doesn't exactly agree with her but he can't fully argue, either. "you and your sister are more alike than you realize." though this wasn't the same conversation he had with bora before, the sentiments seemed to be similar. male snorts, eyes glancing back up at the woman. "and why would it be odd for me to be dating her? this may come as a surprise to you but neither of us are as heartless as you think."

there's a simple scoff she makes in response to his words, doesn't bother to argue any further considering the fact that they have very different views on their past relationship, clearly. expression turns to slight growl at the audacity of his words, why should she respect anyone that doesn't respect her back after all? "respect them? please." bonghee doesn't believe they're worthy of such things, considering all they do is constantly try to bring one another down. she's so tired of it all. "bora is more than aware of how i feel about her and trust me, the feeling is mutual." elbows lean against the table, straw moving around the ice in her drink as she leans in. "do you really believe someone that doesn't respect me deserves any of mine? — forget the fact that for some odd reason she's your girlfriend, i should just respect someone that doesn't show me the same?"
