What's happening in France actully get me a bit dumbstruck, its not that I didn't expect police brutality but it does feels like the violence excalated suddenly

You have videos and photos of people having bruises, there's a guy who had to amputate one his testiscule, one woman had her thumb ripped off, another guy got his nose completely broken and so on and so on

I think the video that digusts me the most is the one where they beat up an homeless man while swearing at him; that's supposed to be "proportionnal strenght" ?? There is so many videos of people getting beat down while on the ground, if you want to arrest them and they're already on the ground, what's the point of further violence ?
