This video is for everyone who supports Palestine. If you don't support Palestine, you can scroll.
What's Palestine? I am dead ass requesting you to tell me what's Palestine. Do you know who you're chanting for, and what you're chanting?
When you say "free Palestine" you are not talking about Gaza. Do you know that? Gaza is not Palestine.
"From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free." It is calling to end the existence of Israel. From the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, which includes the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, and the entire state of Israel. The only Jewish state in the entire world.
7 million Jews and 2 million Arabs live here in peace. With your "free Palestine" idea, where do you want us to go? Where do you want us all to go? What do you think is gonna happen the day Israel stops existing? Do you not think that if Hamas takes over, if the damage they are already doing, having full control, full complete control over the tiny area that is Gaza, what do you think is gonna happen the day they have full complete control over the state of Israel?
What do you think is gonna happen to you? Chanting "free Palestine" in the streets right now. If you want freedom for the people of Gaza who, by the way, you guys are categorizing together as Palestinians, you have no idea who lives there. If you want freedom for these people, you stand with Israel to end whoever is actually occupying them.
Israel has never attacked Gaza unprovoked. Israel has never, ever, ever targeted the Gazan civilians during any war or any attack that we have inflicted upon Hamas and their terror targets, the places they hide their rockets and guns and ammunition, which are civilian homes, hospitals, schools.
The people of Gaza can't speak themselves against Hamas cause they know they'll be killed. You, from the comfort of your home in your Western country think that you can speak for the people of Gaza about who is inflicting terror on them.
500,000 Gazans cross to Israel every single day to work. Let me make something very, very clear. Since Israel left Gaza in 2005, Israel does not owe shit to Gaza. "The electricity, the water..." Why isn't Hamas providing those things to Gaza? Where is all the billions of dollars they are being sent constantly? We don't have to let Gazans come and work here. We don't have to give them food, electricity and water. We don't have to warn them to go out of their houses when we attack Hamas targets. We don't have to do anything. And somehow we are held to the standard that we do?
Hamas kills their political opponents. They have not held elections since they've been elected in 2006. Even after they have GoPro'ed a massacre of 1,300 people, not people killed by rockets - massacre by hand - you still don't know who they are. You still don't realize they do the same thing to the people of Gaza. You still support these people.
If you want Gaza to be free, you support Israel annihilating Hamas and freeing them of the people of Gaza. Once Gaza is free of Hamas, there will be peace.
Don't you think that if Israel was truly controlling Gaza and occupying Gaza, this wouldn't have happened. We would know what was going on there.
Wake up already. These terrorists are using your values against you. They are hiding in their terror tunnels right now alongside 199 hostages. These are not freedom fighters, these are bloodthirsty monsters.
Stop chanting these empty, empty slogans and wake up to see what is right in front of you.
"The siege, they have a fence around Gaza..." Have you seen what happens when they make one hole in the fence? Have you seen what happens in less than five hours to 1,300 people when they break through this fence?
This will never fail to amaze me. "Gaza's under siege! The fence around Gaza!" Do you mean the border? Somewhere that is not our territory? Same border that 500,000 Palestinians cross to make money here in Israel? The same border they can easily cross if they don't affiliate with Hamas or carry any weapon? The same border they have with their Egyptian brothers who do not allow them anywhere near their country?
And if after everything I said, you still support Hamas, there is no other way to say it: your values align with Hamas. And I'm being very, very gentle.
If you truly want peace, you stand with Israel.
==
Hamas is Gaza's Taliban. Hamas is Gaza's ISIS. Hamas is Gaza's Boko Haram. Hamas is Gaza's Iranian Regime.
Oct 7 was Israel's Mahsa Amini moment. Israel is doing this not just for the Israelis, but for the Gazans, who live in a terrorist regime.
If you rooted for the collapse of the Iranian Regime with #WomanLifeFreedom, then you root for the extermination of Hamas. Because they are the same exact problem.
How have people gotten so confused after only one year?

My friend Hillel Fuld, the brother of fallen hero Ari Fuld, has some things to get off his chest regarding some of the confusion.
He says: "The world is lost, let's make sure we don't join them!"

a weird thing that makes me very emotional is how there will be parts of my life that for whatever cultural reason seem like a universal experience to me, yet aren't to you guys. the childhood stories i grew up with, the songs that get played to specific events, the traditions that come and pass regularly. all the things that shape life and make us feel connected, yet so many of you don't know. idk it's beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time, how you don't have this valuable thing in your life yet have so many other things, that i don't even know about

'To celebrate the release of Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer,” the Historical Society of Princeton has added a new walking tour to its event schedule inspired by the film’s title character and late Princeton resident J. Robert Oppenheimer.
The Oppenheimer Walking Tour led by Steve Yacik, regular guide for Historical Society of Princeton’s tours, will take visitors across the grounds that the famous theoretical physicist and credited father of the atomic bomb once roamed.
The walking tour will start at the Princeton Garden Theater and include several stops, such as The Frist Campus Center and the exterior of Alexander Hall. Yacik will tell tour groups many stories about Oppenheimer and his family that were not featured in the film, including some that describe Oppenheimer’s time as director of the Institute for Advance Study and his final years spent in Princeton leading up to his death in 1967.
Along the tour, visitors also will have the opportunity to take photos at two of the three locations used as sets in the film. These set locations are both located on Princeton University’s campus as the tour will not extend to the Institute for Advance Study due to distance.
August tours have sold out. However, more dates are being added in the coming weeks.
Back in April of 2022, “Oppenheimer” filming rattled Princeton as students and locals crowded Princeton University and the Institute for Advance Study’s campuses when footage of director Christopher Nolan and famous movie stars Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr. quickly spread across social media. The University Chapel and East Pyne at Princeton University and Fuld Hall at the Institute for Advanced Study were used as sets for the film. The aforementioned locations can all be seen in the final theatrical release.
Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” is a biographical film that explores J. Robert Oppenheimer (played by Cillian Murphy) at the most important moment of his career. Depicted in the film and based on reality, Oppenheimer and the staff of both Princeton University and the Institute for Advance Study played a major role in advancing the Manhattan Project, a secret research and development team created by the United States government during World War II to develop the most powerful weapon in history before the Nazis could. “Oppenheimer” explores the creation and aftermath of the first nuclear bomb’s invention.
Oppenheimer Walking Tour price tickets are $15 and can be purchased online at the Historical Society of Princeton’s website when they are added to the tour schedule. For those interested in seeing the movie “Oppenheimer” prior to the tour, visitors can see the film at the Princeton Gardens Theater — fun fact, this is the same longstanding Princeton theater where J. Robert Oppenheimer saw several of his favorite movies with his spouse Katherine.'

Just received word from a soldier.
He said “Fired into Lebanon last night. Ari would have been proud of our aim.”
If you’re not familiar, Ari Fuld was murdered five years ago by an Islamic terrorist. He left a wife and four amazing kids.
Ari Fuld was my big brother.

Top ten Danish sayings according to me
My ten favourite Danish sayings/turns of phrase (in no particular order), just because I love language. I say all of these regularly. Enjoy!
goddag mand, økseskaft – hello man, axe handle
This one is used when someone answers a question you asked in a nonsensical way or just in general when someone has said something foolish or nonsensical. you can read about the origin in Danish here.
det kan ske, det kniver med gaflerne – it may spoon it knives with the forks / it happens that the forks are in short supply
Not used in any specific situation other than when someone says det kan ske 'it happens', because ske 'spoon' and ske 'happen' just so happen to be homonyms. Additionally kniv 'knife' and knibe 'be in short supply' are almost homophonous, especially if kniv was a verb.
fra folk og fulde børn skal man høre sandheden – from people and drunk children you will hear the truth
This is not actually the saying, it's supposed to be børn og fulde folk, but it's more fun like this. Originally, this refers to the fact that neither children, nor the drunk tend to think too hard before speaking, thus they tend to tell the truth.
det haster ikke mere end det jager – it's no more urgent than urgency
Excuse my creative liberties here, as both haste and jage mean 'be urgent'. It is more or less synonymous with "take it easy, no rush" – a sort of Danish hakuna matata.
To me, as someone from Western Jutland, jager should always be pronounced jawer ['ja.wʌ] in this saying.
stå med håret i postkassen – to have gotten one's hair stuck inside the mailbox
A metaphor for when you are in some sort of trouble or problematic situation where you feel like you have no power to change your unlucky situation. Often used when you are disappointed as a result of being cheated somehow.
det kan noget – it does something
My best approximation of an English version is "it's got a certain je ne sais quois", because that's literally what it means. It does something for you, specifically, but you're not entirely sure what exactly it is that it does – but it works!
man kan æggehvide, hvad man æggeskal – one egg whites what one eggshells | one cannot know what one should not do
Another pun, I am sorry for being your literal dad, I guess. Basically æggehvide 'egg white' sounds like ikke vide 'not know' and æggeskal 'eggshell' sounds like ikke skal 'should not'
ikke nå nogen/noget til sokkeholderne – not being able to reach someone/something's garters
When someone/-thing is not nearly as good as someone/-thing else. You know, it barely reaches above their knee!
hvor der handles, der spildes – where stuff gets done, stuff gets lost
Exactly what it says on the tin. Its English cousin is "you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs".
fanden og hans pumpestok – the Devil and his pump stick
Yes, this is as vulgar as it sounds. This one is used last in lists of things that are excessive, e.g, vi skulle støvsuge, slå græs, fjerne spindelvæv, dampe gulvtæppet og Fanden og hans pumpestok 'we had to vacuum, mow the lawn, remove cobwebs, steam the carpet and God knows what else'.
Honourable mention for this one that I learnt while looking stuff up in the dictionary:
Tumblr media
[ID: A screenshot from Danish online dictionary ordnet.dk of the entry for the saying 'anbringe bagdelen i klaskehøjde'. It explains the saying and additionally recommends the entries for smæk and øretævernes holdeplads. End ID]
Translation:
to place one's backside (ass, bum) in smacking height.
TRANSFERRED MEANING cause oneself to end up in a situation where one might very easily be exposed to criticism and negative reactions from one's surroundings – e.g., by speaking openly about a certain case USE informal
SEE ALSO spanking | the whoopings' parking space
