Am I being a contrarian with this particular entry today? Absolutely not. And hey, I stand by it!

Outlaw is that Girl™. She just is. Idk how to properly explain the absolute crakish laughter that I broke out in when I first compiled my 'Ateez bangers' playlist.... Only to realize halfway through that every single track from here made it on there without me intending to. Truly diabolical.

On a general note: the whole 'world' series is probably my favorite collection of albums that we got and I'm here for every second of them.

So if any of yall wanted to see more of C&C INC I’ve been thinking and…I think it MIGHT (keyword MIGHT) function better as an ask/RP blog…which is something new I might have to deal with.

However I do have an idea for another blog with a similar premise but Kirby: An Ask/RP Blog with the 3 lords of death in Kirby; Morpho Knight, Necrodeus, and Dark Nebula.

I’m gonna leave this post for a few days up until the end of my Mad Rat vs ULTRA M Poll, which shall have a secondary Bonus Poll on the last day or so for Rat God vs Boyfriend cause I think that might be hilarious, and I will have 1 more poll after that regarding these theoretical ask blogs.

large part of the problem with Figuring Out Ephros is his playthrough is a solid 40% me doing shit lemming or dak-wai wouldn't because i the player want to see what happens. so it's trying to reverse engineer a guy from a set of decisions that don't necessarily all align with each other. the eto... bleh energy (after causing the deaths of dozens of people) is essential though. that's a constant

i like the idea that shri’iia (esp before she fully commits to the oathbreaker role - which imo lines up well with redemption paladin 🤔 hmm thoughts abt that later…) isn’t as powerful as she was when she was a vengeance paladin just because her convictions aren’t as resolute. she’s able to do less smites than when she was in her prime, and it takes a toll on her both physically and mentally much quicker than before. the other paladin feats (like the healing, the buffing, etc.) are harder to do and she can only do a few at a time before she gets exhausted, so she ends up relying more on physical combat rather than on her paladin talents. hence why i think she will start to learn how to fight like how surfacers fight bc drow combat are mostly stealth based and designed for quick skirmishes rather than full length battles.

shri’iia being weaker than she was before is soooo delicious to me just bc of how much power and strength is coveted in drow culture, and now she has to bear with the shame and the knowledge that she’s weak bc of her own failure. it also makes the idea of swearing an oath to something/someone else more tempting bc she knows she’ll more empowered when there is something that validates her conviction - whatever they may be. like it’s really the easy way out but doing so will just make her go back to her old patterns, and she’ll just regress instead of grow as an individual bc she’s back to being a trained dog again who heels and sits on command 🤭

I like that it happened. *Unimatrix Zero* was so batshit crazy on all fronts. Getting assimilated as part of the plan, relying on some fun neuro-whatever inhibitor? Hilarious. BUT it needed to have dire consequences. Something lasting. That moment when Tuvok hears the Collective and gets distracted? Fantastic. More! MORE! MAKE THEM SUFFER!

I need a better balance. I definitely want my Trek to be mostly stand-alone episodes. No season long arcs (especially not the-universe-will-explode-type-of-stuff). BUT give me constant development, build it up, make it connect more. It's VOY's biggest failing, it needed to be more like DS9 in that specific regard. Oh, I could write essays. I love the ship lost in the Delta Quadrant with all my heart and damn can I agonize about the wasted potential.

Janeway infiltrating/robbing the Borg was a fun hobby. Got really good at it. The escalation though. Ahahahahahaha. Because we didn't get to see a few lasting effects it minimized the trauma in the worst way. I like that we had the Borg kids, Icheb & Co. And it was handled well - within the format of the show - that they hadn't been with the Collective that long, still maturing, easier to get out. Icheb could also adapt to living without the whateveritscalledexactly implant in his brain that Seven needed.

On the other hand, we get S2 of PIC and suddenly Seven is full human, zero implants whatsoever and the writers missed to fully showcase this drastic change. It's more than just a few metal thingies on her face.

Anyway, back to *Unimatrix Zero* itself. Like the idea, hate the execution. They needed to lean in more into the body horror and not make it less frightening! I was so here for Tuvok to struggle mentally with this and thus talking to Seven about it. Their friendship is special.* Meanwhile let B'Elanna have more follow-up surgeries, let it take some time to get her voice back to normal. Of course the Doctor does have a lot of experience by then. Have to give him some credit there.

Edit: Wait, let me spell it out once again, because I can. B'ELANNA TORRES & SEVEN OF NINE NEEDED TO BE CLOSER FRIENDS!!!! (that's the most important message of that gif set)
