You are verrry different compared to how the people in Spikemuth dress up.

He thought you were the kind of influencer that comes into Spikemuth to make fun of the grungy nature of the city but instead? You find yourself immersed in it, having a dark-type pokemon on your team as well.

you were in the front row to his concert and he could see you singing along to his songs, knowing every word and bouncing your head and clapping your head to the rhythm of the beat.

Later after the show, he catches you trying to buy merchandise. They ran out of t-shirts in your size. :(

so he decides to give you his. He just. Takes off his shirt and hands to you. As a joke you offer him yours but he takes it. For some reason he just wears it right away. You burst out laughing at his deadpan expression and ask him for his number.

That's the story of how you two started dating after exchanging shirts, him dressed in an oversized pink skitty sweater and you wearing his shirt. You keep his shirt to this day, wearing it when you go to sleep.

New doll diorama is up! This one took a while because there are lots of props, plus I had to decide on the perfect design. :D

Have you ever been to a themed cafe? They're very common in Japan, ranging from anime to video games to role play. Some are permanent, others are pop up (temporary). The interiors are always completely decorated in the theme, and the food is also designed in accordance with the theme. Most of these places also have gift shops where you can purchase exclusive items ranging from stationary to clothes to figures to plushies, all revolving around the cafe's theme. So fun!

I tend to always do things in themes, so this was right up my alley. I just knew I wanted to make my own Japanese themed cafe diorama. There is no shortage of options, but I decided on a Gudetama cafe. Gudetama is a Sanrio character, and his name literally means "lazy egg." This adorable little egg can be seen in a variety of scenarios, usually being prodded to not be lazy. It's quite amusing! I looked up actual Gudetama cafes so I could make my design as authentic as possible. Almost all of them featured bright yellow walls in a variety of patterns with huge wall decals of the star character on them. Smaller wall art was also common, and the wood floors even had a yellowish hue to them to finish off the look. Statues and figures were also prominent, so I placed a white cube shelf in the scene to hold some of my mini Gudetama items I've had for a long time (didn't even have to buy new stuff for this scene!), as well as the menus and place mats that I made. I also painted all the chairs yellow (they were originally purple) and painted the table base white (they were pink). The booth is borrowed from the Licca-chan revolving sushi set.

So here we have a group of dolls enjoying the themed goodies! All the food items are from Re-Ment, and the sets included a lot more - I just couldn't fit any more dolls in there LOL. And of course, this being Japanese themed, I had to use my Azone dolls. They're a better fit for these chairs and tables anyway since they're not as tall as Barbie, so they fit her size furniture better than she does LOL. Plus - interchangeable hands! YES!

A location of Kinokuniya bookstore opened in Atlanta recently! This was my first chance to visit and I shopped till I dropped lol.

This Kira Kira Precure art book features all the illustrations made for like the Blu-Ray covers as well as character designs (with notes I mostly can't read lol no furigana) and line art for things like the opening and final episode. Cool stuff!

The Pokemon book is written for small children, so it does use furigana, and therefore I can read it! It is also organized in Japanese alphabetical order, which uhh I do not know by heart! I will learn a lot from this book.

Kinokuniya was fun! I joined their rewards program, so I'll get 10% off everything and $10 gift cards for every $300 spent. I think they're technically still in the soft opening stage and so they haven't done grand opening yet. There were some shelves that looked like they hadn't been stocked yet, which they did warn about. But they even have some chairs you can sit and read in! That's so thoughtful!

Ohana Comic-con 2024

Con today was fun!! I would have had more pictures but... honestly, most of the booths this year unfortunately had signs saying "No Photos" so I couldn't take pictures of a lot of what was there... Aside from the few anime booths, there was a booth for both wooden and metal katanas/swords, at least 3 different Sanrio booths, a ton of custom legos and lego characters, an entire plushie booth, a ton of Funkos scattered around in different booths, a whole vintage section that included Marvel and DC comics, old toys and reproductions of vintage items, even G1 MLP toys that were in pretty damn good condition if I say so, $10 - $30 blind item anime merch bags, a veteran-run booth with custom pocket knives, swords, a real metal keyblade, etc. I had fun despite being too chicken to enter the costume contest, and I brought home a good haul to boot!!

I got a jumbo sleeping Bulbasaur plushie. Like... he's not as big as what the jumbo "life size" Arcanine plushies out there, but he's still a chonker!

I was able to get a 40th Anniversary Rainbow Brite reproduction doll and boooooooy I am so happy I got her, she was the only one there!

I also got the World Journey Miku QPosket. I couldn't pass up a 50s fashion-esque Miku!!

I got two Jojo Pt.5 posters too, with it them being $5 each but when you buy two then its a total of $7 for both!

Then there was the keychain I got that says "I'm too clumsy to be around fragile masculinity". My sassy, chaotic gremlin ass could NOT pass that one up.

Best part of the haul though?

I got the entire Stone Ocean trio as Nendos, plus Kars!! This brings my Jojo nendo collection to 6 total nendos! I have Pt.1 Dio, Giorno, Jolyne, Ermes, FF, and Kars!!

Can hardly wait for next year's Ohana Comic-con, and I'm super pumped to see what goodies I can find and bring home next time!!

While I haven’t finished the skill tree I have pretty much finished my most recent crochet project. This is Ruru in its Ke version, from JO1’s Sanrio characters, the Jochum. As you can see it’s still missing it’s mouth and the heart on the crown, but I don’t own any red or gray string. This is my first pattern design, I’ll talk about the process under the cut.

I designed this pattern entirely on my own from things I’ve learned by crocheting other things. Tbf it’s pretty basic shapes so it’s not like it was super difficult to design, however, there’s some things I wish I’d done differently:

I wish I had designed the tentacles first, that way I would’ve sized the head correctly. The head was the easiest part to do cause it was just a sphere so I went with it first, I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to size the tentacles down without them basically losing their fun shape.

The yellow is the wrong shade but I didn’t have anything else lol

Because the head is small, the crown also looks too big, but I was afraid making it any smaller would mess with the shape.

I think that really fluffy type of thread would make it look way better.

Though I don’t love how it came out, there are some things I do like about it:

Figuring out the tentacles was really hard and I’m really proud of myself for doing it and managing to keep the shape pretty well!

Figuring out the crown was also fun since I couldn’t find any patterns for small ones lol

I’ve gotten so much better at attaching parts on, still needs some practice tho

Hahahah in order for Ivan to deal with a super bratty Omega. He is all about dominance to the highest degree with little room for disobedience to be. That or occasionally he can be masochistic, had too much vodka, or he lost a bet to Alpha! Ruler Spain. This time Spain has chosen something that gets under Ivan’s skin immensely: having to date someone with the qualities he despises …. Demanding, disobedient, and bossy.

Antonio lights up a cigarette and takes a long drag before exhaling a cloud of smoke that reaches Ivans imposing nose. Antonio grabs a picture from his suit pants pocket and hands him a picture of you a medium sized omega that had a thing for Sanrio’s Kuromi, Choco Cat, and Badtz Maru. Just judging from the characters you aesthetically idolized he knew you were a self proclaimed ‘princess’ or ‘baddie’ or whatever that deserved respect and special privileges. His eyes rolled to the back of his head in disbelief.

“This is joke, da?”

“No, mi amigo. You got to do it. She’ll be at the Armada mall later today with her group of hive minded omegas that linger on her every word. So go get her and you have to date her for at least a month. Then I’ll bring back those trading deal negotiations and give you two ports where my authorities will turn a blind eye to.” He dangles your picture right in front of his agitated violet eyes.

With a labored sigh Ivan takes it and grabs his black military coat. He heads out into the overcast afternoon and gets into his Chauffeur.

“Where to sir?”

“The Armada mall, please.”

It didn’t take long for the Russian and his height to find the adorable decked out in black lace and devil like bunny ears Omega leading her little pack. As he approached their group he could hear her endlessly babbling about her latest buys: 10-ft plushies straight from the Sanrio store.

‘She looks like she matches the definition of ‘brat’ and her tone sounds like chalk on a black board. Spain better be ready to hand over a free bottle of vodka and I might also ask him for confidential documents he may have on France and Prussia.’

Ivan takes in a deep breath and prepares himself for a rough few weeks.

‘At least charming them will be easy.’

With his formidable figure. He stood at 6’5, He had husky ears that stood high in attention, and with a white and gray brushtail that was an impressive 3 feet when pointed out from his back. It didn’t take long for them to notice the Alpha pheromones mixed in with his “Ciel de Gum” cologne The thick notes of spicy cinnamon and the woody scent of the Russian woods in early winter demanded the attention of the bratty omega and her entourage.

You allowed your eyes to wander up to the incoming distraction. You raised your eyebrow interest and thought to yourself how you could possibly-

A smirk graced your cute but devious face. You could at least try your hand at toying with him, even though Antonio told you that sort of thing wasn’t advised. Maybe you could at least get some decent pampering for a few weeks could be nice even if you did have to give yourself to him from time to time. Not bad and you did have a fun life to get back to since your new promotion would allow you to travel, write, and even have free time.

“Alright then Master Braginski~” You coo at him in a witchy way and do a cute curtsey. You were going to do your best to push all of his buttons.

Ivan pulls out a 24-Karat gold collar that has an amethyst adorning the front of it for you to wear.

“Well you’re going to need to keep this on at all times and I have the appropriate attire that you will be wearing that I want you to be in.”

Suddenly there were a few different Beta’s dressed in gray or black maid’s uniforms surrounding you and your group of Omega’s.

“It’s time for your sycophants to leave you. You have a learning curve to get over.”

Shaking all four disbanded quickly. They knew better than to get in the way of an Alpha and his probably larger entourage that was likely nearby.

“Pushy. Looks like I really am dealing with someone who really has a stick up their ass.” You say smugly while crossing your arms.

“Dammit Antonio.��� Ivan pinches the bridge of his nose in frustration. After a few moments of trying to calm his nerves he simply snaps his fingers and the Beta’s who are stronger than they looked grabbed you tightly by the ears.

“What the hell put me down! I’m your supposed lover or whatever!”

“Yes, but I own you. Lover = Object in this scenario. Since you're an Omega. Also your appearance is not to my liking. You need to be groomed properly if I’m going to be seen out in public with you.”

You were soon dragged off to Ivan’s immaculate townhouse that he had within the city. You were impressed but not amused with the situation that you were currently in. You wanted to realtor back in anger but Ivan showed you real quick in the car that he doesn't tolerate bullshit. He had bitten the side of your neck harshly after you had fought him while he tried to put the collar on you. Quite a bit of blood came dribbling from your neck and flesh had been damaged in the process. It would take you up until the end of this whole month-long ordeal for it to heal. You were going to have to swallow your pride, anger, and humiliation in order to survive but, not just that. You were going to figure him out and learn what makes him tick and then take him down.

“Sunflower, your angry face is cute but you're still bleeding and getting your blood on the marble floors. It will look like a murder scene in here.” He scolds lightly but does give you the stern look that demands that you listen or else the consequences will be worse than what happened in the car.

You roll your eyes but head over to him anyways.

“Sit , flower I need to disinfect the bite, da?” He had the medical alcohol out along with cotton balls and bandages. You sit in front of his giant figure and you allow his nimble but thick hands to help clean your bite mark wound. He purposefully will be a little rough and apply too much rubbing alcohol onto your wounds just to make sure it hurts.

You sucked in a really sharp breath and he cleaned the last hole that was leaking out blood and applied the long cotton bandage that would wrap around the nape of your neck.

“Asshole.” You hiss out.

Ivan pressed down hard on one of the bite mark openings.

“Ah!” You slink away only to be tripped by his tree trunk like leg. You let out a frightened squeak and you tumbled towards the floor. Just 5 cm before your face collided with the hard marble floor Ivan had caught you by the waist.

“Your resistance will make your time here difficult. You might want to drop your ‘baddie’ persona or whatever. Now come, time to get you cleaned up for dinner.” And with that statement he marches you to the tub room while you still have a scowl permanently etched onto your face.

My Depop Shop ~ A New Chapter ~ Shop of Your Dreams

So I have depression dips and I lost a close friend of mine👼that was super supportive of my depop business and I lost my passion for it. But now it's starting to come back. I still feel him with me and I miss going to the thrift store. I'm cleaning out stale inventory, putting the mega goodies up for sale and then planning on going back soon to my second home. Bookmarks🔖~ Free with every book purchase! My previous ones whales and astronauts zooming in constellations. I used to be an avid reader and I was always losing bookmarks so that would be a nice happy little surprise. I was always using stuff that isn't bookmarks as my bookmarks.

Supporting Other Small Businesses🏩~ I purchase most of my supplies on Etsy. Most if not all of them are small businesses all over the world! I love tracking where my orders are. It's fun.

Washi Tape🍄~ It's cartoon reusable tape. I have two: a fox playing with mushrooms with an orange background and angel girls playing with golden hoops. So you can reuse it. I use it to help seal packages.

Stickers🌈~ I would include them or use them on stationary. Sometimes Sanrio characters. I like to buy mixed lots of stickers from Japan. It adds some extra joy.

Stationary📜~ I like to buy little post-it note size pads of paper from Japan with cartoon characters. I would write a little pick me up or/and a personal thank you.

Haters🚫~ Other folks within the reselling community can be brutal. They said it's a waste of time. I don't think it is. Anything that brings you joy is not a waste of time. It helps lift my spirits and I think it helps lift other people's spirits. I think most of us are dealing with a lot and I just like to make that a little bit easier and if I can do that through a package I'm happy with that. I used to do packages this way and my dad would ship them out at the post office, but I lost my passion for it. But now I'm back. Yay!🥳

Review: Hello Kitty Supercute Adventures

“Hello Kitty Supercute Adventures” is a series of shorts found on the official Hello Kitty youtube channel and is currently on its 6th season. The show takes place in Sanrio Town where a handful of the most popular Sanrio characters coexist with their own businesses and lives.

Positives:

- Very cute

- Gentle on the eyes, colorful without it being too overwhelming

- Very soft and easy storylines, great for littles who love common plots like “murder mystery” without actual murder being mentioned for example.

- Frequent references to Japanese culture, examples being food and the Tanabata Festival, normalizing it in this world instead of trying to westernize it

- Characters are fun! They did a good job making everyone feel special

Negatives:

- Super short, you can finish all 5 seasons (plus 2 currently in S6) in one sitting. Most episodes are under 5 minutes (which can be a positive on its own, but it just leaves me wanting more :( )

- Frequent advertising (more of a problem on the channel itself, they try to advertise you Sanrio products all the time which really takes me out of the moment)

- Kuromi x Badtz, not the ship itself but they try to force it so much in the show and I can’t really see it. And also Daniel is supposed to be Hello Kitty’s boyfriend but we only see him directly with Kitty once for 3 seconds in all 6 seasons so far :/ he might as well not be there

Overview: Recommend for littles who want bite-sized adventures, especially if you are a big Sanrio fan! Target audience is little girls, but anybody can enjoy it!
