20 January 2024 | There was no electricity in my room - so I had to force myself out, supposedly taking a break from working continuously for the past few weeks too. It has been an office-home-office-home routine, so going out is very much needed at that point.
I went to Luckin Kopi, Pasar Seni in the morning and had a stroll around the flower markets as well. It has been a while since I walk around in public too. I managed to squeeze in during Faisal Tehrani's Meet and Greet at Kinokuniya KLCC. It was nice.
Later, I just popped up at another cafe near KLCC to complete my work. I went home around 7-ish in the evening, yet there was still no electricity until the next two days ._.

Kinokuniya Books, also known as Kinokuniya USA offers a wide variety of books, magazines, and stationary from Japan. Including an extensive collection of manga, graphic novels, art and design books, cookbooks, travel books, children’s books, and more, both in English and Japanese.
There are several retail locations throughout the United States. toloveLwithVine on Twitter was listing their Bryant Park New York City location and found a Tamagotchi section! The Tamagotchi section features some Tamagotchi Original shells, and even that new Tamagotchi Original pouch from TKJ that was released the summer, how awesome is that?

A location of Kinokuniya bookstore opened in Atlanta recently! This was my first chance to visit and I shopped till I dropped lol.
This Kira Kira Precure art book features all the illustrations made for like the Blu-Ray covers as well as character designs (with notes I mostly can't read lol no furigana) and line art for things like the opening and final episode. Cool stuff!
Top row: ice cream theme stickers, a book of like 400 Sanrio stickers with different characters on each page, a boba drink keychain toy, cat theme stickers, Embrace Your Size manga (EN), volume 1 of an alternate universe Evangelion light novel (EN)
Top row: two surprise boxes
Bottom row: 2 pairs of cat theme socks and a little puzzle of Anya from Spy x Family
Top row: volumes 1 and 2 of Nichijou manga (EN)
Bottom row: volume 1 of Aharen-san (JP and I don't think it uses furigana lol so I might just be looking at the pics), volume 5 of Skip and Loafer (EN, where the anime left off), Paldea Pokemon encyclopedia (JP)
The Pokemon book is written for small children, so it does use furigana, and therefore I can read it! It is also organized in Japanese alphabetical order, which uhh I do not know by heart! I will learn a lot from this book.
Kinokuniya was fun! I joined their rewards program, so I'll get 10% off everything and $10 gift cards for every $300 spent. I think they're technically still in the soft opening stage and so they haven't done grand opening yet. There were some shelves that looked like they hadn't been stocked yet, which they did warn about. But they even have some chairs you can sit and read in! That's so thoughtful!
