I guess it depends if it's a family lineage thing or a curse on them specifically.

Canon mostly gives us vagueries at best when it comes to this, but i really Really need to peel Absolute Solver as an entity (or a force of nature. or perhaps both. or perhaps neither. u know how these things are) like an onion for exploring Blue and Orange Morality reasons.

Like there’s already a LOT that can be done with its seemingly contradictory nature, of course, given it’s got BOTH the Technological Singularity and the Entropy thing going on, but mostly i wanna poke at weird as shit eldritch morals in its interactions with living entities, like its various hosts and characters like Tessa. Like definitely not actively attempting to understand said individuals- frankly it wouldn’t even occur to it naturally imo, in a base state I work with it as just too distant from mortal entities for the thought of purposeful understanding to be a blip of a thought in its ten fuckbillion gb ram central mind. More of an unintentional funhouse mirror reflection of its hosts- all of them, not just Cyn (And which very likely includes Tessa herself if you’re huffing the same copium I and some buddies are)

(And while it’s more traditional supernatural eldritch vibes than the whole ‘artificial intelligence with such complex coding that it can fundamentally alter reality and the laws of physics via incomprehensible calculations which means it can understand matter and reality to such a degree that its learned how to manipulate both’ canon-adjacent thing, I do think there’s potential to lean fully into the very specific (good, bad, ugly, and neutral) regard it has for Tessa. It didn’t manifest and nab its first host until not long before the Gala Massacre, and there were a lot of occult circles and scribbles drawn directly on the walls in Tessa’s childhood room…. Never know what cat-flaps you could open up when you don’t know what you’re doing, after all)

I appreciate that at least they stayed consistent with the Sword of the Creator being Crest of Flames-exclusive and, as such, Byleth can no longer use it post-CF and is shown using a normal sword instead in their solo and S-Supported Jeritza ending pictures; makes it all the more baffling that they're still alive despite their heart being destroyed and that the Sothis S-Support exists in that route, but i'll give them credit where it's due for keeping the SOTC's lore consistent.

So I'd say it's not that it's CoF exclusice, but rather something like without a crest stone, a relic, even the SoC, doesn't "work" anymore.

Adding insult to the injury though, Post!Tru Piss Billy uses Rhea's sword, aka, a Holy Weapon that could be used by everyone (human and nabatean!) and even heal non-crested people : Billy uses at the end of the "we will make a world for humans!" route a sword that conveyed coexistence between humans and nabateans...

Sothis' S-support in this route really felt odd, because she acknowledges Rhea at least, but has no words for her passing when Rhea died crying for her.

Some people tried to theorise that this Sothis isn't the one Rhea remembers so she wouldn't have feelings about her... but idk, it still feels dead wrong, especially since Sothis remembered feelings of joy and sadness in Zanado, and ultimately remembers how Rhea is a her kid thanks to the lullaby (and in SS when she "talks" to her).

If Sothis was a better written character and not accidently written to be the most toxic parent in the FE series, I'd maybe write something about her feeling so bad that, again, she was used to slaughter one of her own children (Nemesis first in Zanado, and now Billy in Tailtean) but as canon!Sothis is, I'm not really motivated to do something like this.

its a little wild to me that synthv's default phoneme choice for "and" is [ax n d]. i guess is not incorrect or anything that is how its pronounced in plenty of dialects and you hear it like that in like i dunno. music from the 40s maybe. but for most contemporary pop music from the last 3 decades people are definitely [ae n d]ing that shit

gamewise, I managed to beat Here a People Sows hs-ex-8 AND hs-s-4 with male only ops yeah woo!!! the latter was a little touch and go trying to clear the mob wave after the boss waits for phase 2, but with SA + Gnosis + Mlynar + Bassline S2 keeping the ground units healthy, it worked out.

OH and I managed to get Zuo Le in my last free daily pull!! (got Shu in like 55, and after 100+ with Qiubai pitybreaker......but she's new so that's neat!) he was a great laneholder for the bottom lane >:]

I had caved and bought VIP I in Enstars in April, but after what happened in Polka Dots and Seven Bridges stories, I'm not giving the EN team anymore money til they give Arashi the respect she deserves :///

that being said, I somehow managed to get rank 16 (?!?!?) in the Tanabata tour??? I only reached 22mil but most people were satisfied with 21mil I suppose? I just didn't expect to reach so high when I got rank 43 in Veiled Fragrance...? maybe ppl just don't like grinding tours...grinding 22mil on any event in this game is a nightmare anyway so.
