Came across this article while looking for more information on Tom Burke's character in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
Tom Burke Replaces Yahya Abdul-Mateen II In George Miller’s ‘Mad Max’ Spinoff ‘Furiosa’
The film marks the first major studio film for Burke, who played Orson Welles in Netflix’s Mank and has credits including The Souvenir and the upcoming pic The Wonder starring Florence Pugh.
The movie looks great but with all that hair, beards, and masks everywhere, I could hardly recognise Chris Hemsworth in the trailer, let alone Tom Burke. 😆
[As for more information on his character, there was none: zero, zip, zilch, nada. Guess we'll have a wait a bit longer to find out more.]

The one reason I will and always will encourage gatekeeping in fandoms/nerd culture is because without gatekeeping we get the stupidest ass opinions from people on all sides of ideology spectrum.
like the one I saw today:
"Women ruined Mad Max!" Women have always been an integral part of Mad Max and you're a fake fan, does Tina Turner as the smooth jazz queen of the apocalypse Auntie Em mean NOTHING to you

Look not to be a little gay about it but I think the best part about watching Anya Taylor Joy’s career unfold is that every role she’s taken has been just maddeningly down to earth in the most kinda “fuck you” way possible. You know? Like yes: I AM that very witch! The cunt that asks the 5 star chef for a fucking cheeseburger at his prestige murder dinner. The girl who hauls up her skirts to warm her ass. The bitch who curses men with the wrath of fucking odin so she can fuck alexander skarsgard again buck naked in the fucking woods. Gonna fucking kill every little bitch at chess AND do it in addiction recovery. She IS the moment TO ME
