shout out to The Best by Futagogo which is a beautiful Ao3 ChesGlam fic. the imagery and interactions in chapter 3 and chapter 5 are my favourites, they capture a lot of what i love best about this ship!  like, from chapter 5: ‘Ches didn't simply play music, he breathed life into it, made it sing. Stroking and pressing, circling and pulling, coaxing and teasing, Ches eased Glam open beneath him.’ and ‘There was only this, only him, his one constant, his one saving grace. All things leading to this foregone conclusion: to be cherished was to be loved, and to be loved was to thrive.’

Look what came!!!!

My copy and my friend's copy both arrived safely! They actually got here yesterday, but I've had such a bad cold that I just couldn't do a whole photoshoot for it at the time.

The quality is beautiful and professional, and the book is even thicker than I imagined! I cannot wait to start reading this and indulging in the beautiful artwork I'm sure is waiting inside!

Well, besides Kadabralin’s Squipemy fic Touch and it’s offshoots, I’mma post some of the BMC fics I’ve Marked for Later on ao3; heads up, I haven’t read much (if anything) about any of them outside their tags.

(Also, posting fic names and their authors without tagging so that this post doesn’t get shadowbanned)

checkmate by drybeee and haileylikestowrite. Saved for having some interesting angst tags, including noncon. Looks like it’d be very triggering for some, so make sure to read the tags carefully first! 

Kinksters by what_in_the. Saved for being purely kinkfic, of which there’s so few in this damn fandom. Looks like it could be on the squicky end for some people (though everyone is 18+ according to the tags), so again, read the warnings!

Be More Chill, Omegaverse by BeMoreWeird528. Saved for… well. Omegaverse. If you don’t like ABO stuff, prolly don’t check it out, but otherwise it’s tagged “Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings”, which means that warnings might apply and the author is choosing not to list as such for spoiler reasons, so be aware of that. And ALSO, submissive alpha Jeremy!!!!!!

Accessories Sold Separately by Castello. Saved for Squipemy, and getting rec’d. I’ve heard some G O O D things about this fic, so I’m hype to eventually get around to it.

“Stop” by Sukila. Saved because I really, really like when people dive into the “Do You Wanna Hang” debacle… as such, this fic tackles rape aftermath, as well as self harm and suicidal thoughts. Once more, read the tags!!!

Chaz (Jess’s girlfriend, ironically enough; her username is peanootzramano on ao3). I thiiiiink she only has a few things up currently, all BMC, but she’s also a Bully writer. Her writing is like. The best example of hardcore purple prose I can think of? She’s fucking amazing and I think her rendition of Michael Mell is fucking fascinating.

Jaydee Faire (my sister, username Jaydee_Faire). She’s primarily an original fiction creator, but her stuff is like… it’s. Really Fancy and Really Incredible; think “published high art” quality, she just hasn’t gotten there yet. Her fandoms are Final Fantasy Tactics, Captive Prince, and Breath of the Wild. Most of her fics deal with trauma emotions, high fantasy culture, and some politics. Please for the love of GOD read Pet.

@kadabralin; I haven’t finished reading Touch yet, but like… it’s… you ever read something and think “wow. Yeah. This person knows their shit.”? Yeah. They’re SO GOOD at Jeremy fucking Heere and their Squipemy content is… well. God-tier, really. Everything is so snappy and fascinating and engaging and aaaaaaa

I’ve been too fucking antisocial to email them back in, like, god, two years maybe, so thinking about this makes me feel really guilty, but theheadgirl on ao3 has the best Percy Weasley content I’ve seen in the modern fandom sphere. God. I really need to reread their stuff…

Futagogo. If you’re in the Rick and Morty fandom you undoubtedly know who I’m talking about, but if you don’t, I highly encourage you drop everything and go read The Citadel of Lost Children right fucking now. Also, I met them in person and got drunk for the first time!

This is, quite easily, the best fic I’ve ever written. It’s also deeply fucking personal, deeply sexual, incredibly depressing, and, ultimately, a massive landmark for my growth as a person.

It’s also the first chapter fic I’ve ever finished (tho it’s only 11k), including editing. It was very basic beta read by a few people, so grammar and spelling was cleaned up to my knowledge!

Another spectacular person that the futagogos had the honor and pleasure of meeting in person, Cini’s illustration was the perfect way to wrap up the novel on the sweetest note: our heroes fully realized as The One True Morty and One True Rick.♡ 

Fun fact: The illustration was made as part of an impromptu picture swap in Taipei! So it's traveled far to reach the hands of everyone who received the book (although, really, that could be said about pretty much every artwork)!

Beth has two Morty’s instead one, doble adventure, doble cuteness, and both of them are the nicest Morty’s we could ever found. (In fact, they found you feel lucky if you meet them already!) So they adopt this misterious E G G from a Rick who abandoned it, they will take care of it until its become on a BEATIFUL ONE TRUE MORTY. uwu Also, to know who is who, they call themself by Futa Morty one, and Futa Morty Two.  When they grown up they moved to a different city, but together manage an account right here and everyday make the day of hundreds of Mortys better by their comments. Finally, this couple of Mortys are so talented, very kind, too great; if you step with them, please protect them. <3
