Bracket G Round 1
Poll 25
Ve'Qren (@zillastar13) vs. Lt Tobias Rodriguez (@theantagonist)
433. Ve'Qren (@zillastar13)
He/Him
He is a vampire posing as a pagan god in a society which practices human sacrifices. Ve'Qren is actually the god's name, but the vampire is so wrapped up in the role that he is never referred to with his actual name. Ve'Qren is the god of new life, the harvest, the hunt, and famine. Because of this, he is very feared and respected. The vampire himself has a weird homoerotic relationship with the priests serving him. He is a charismatic and manipulative man with absolutely no qualms.
They have slit pupils, akin to a cat, and large fangs and claws. To compliment their religious act, they wear dyed green robes (to represent new life) and brass jewelry (to represent the colors of harvest)
434. Lt Tobias Rodriguez (@theantagonist)
it/he
It's a man-made horror, it has a chainsaw, it's got 10000 mental illnesses and is band from most public spaces.

i don't think we talk enough about corruption... moral degradation... being seduced and fucked and coddled so sweetly that you forget that there's a world beyond pleasure... letting ecstasy lap away at your foundations, reshaping you, debasing you... growing into a new version of yourself— a sloppier, sexier, sillier version, who's all too happy to submit to the source of their pleasure, even if it means betraying ideals that you once held dear...

A and N should have been a poly option instead of a love triangle. If a love triangle does not end in a poly I do not want it unless it is a romcom. /lh 😭😭
You're right and you should say it.
Be prepared to throw it away from you anon.
2a, really) Because it will end in a LT and it won't be a romcom. Sorry to disappoint. Sera didn't tell me. But I'm a pisces. I'm intuitive like that.

What’s it like being a woman in the military? Do you enjoy it? What are things you like? Things you dislike? Is it worth it?
- a girl also considering 😭
ima answer this by question:
1. that kind of a loaded question. Some days are great and some days suck ass, but that’s just in general of being in the military. like today?? the day i had… going AWOL sounded nicer than being in the rain 😂 but being a woman specifically, is kinda the same. some days are great and some days suck. I got lucky and have some great leadership who respect me as an officer, and don’t look down on me because i’m a female. but i have had, and still have, officers and some sergeants who talk down to me, treat me different, disrespect me because i am woman.
2. i do enjoy the military! i grew up in it, my dad was a naval aviator (no, not topgun worthy sadly. still mad. coulda married a rooster instead of what i fucking got), and it just made sense that i followed in to. I love what i do, i love my command team, my squad, my section. Having good leadership and a good platoon makes a world of difference and can be the make or break if you like what you do.
3. I dislike the stupid shit, which seems to be everything 😂 im the type that wants to go to work, get my stuff done and be out by like 3:30 every day. sadly, that doesn’t happen like at all. There’s more i dislike about it and have some very, very strong opinions about it but i rather not type a whole essay about it at this moment (cause i can go off for hours)
4. IT IS WORTH IT. whether you do one contract or a for liferrr (lol me🤪), you will learn and see so much. by the time i was 19, i had deployed and went to 6 different countries. Now at 22, im an officer, had 2 deployments, lived in 3 different states, and visited 12 countries. Every single bit of my military career has been so worth it. if y’all asked me to raise my right hand and say the oath, i’d do it in a heart beat.
