Parte I : Onibus

Estou exausta e desanimada, presa em um trabalho que eu odeio. É véspera de Natal e, mais uma vez, estou trabalhando até tarde. Sinto um misto de inveja e tristeza ao pensar nas pessoas que estão celebrando com suas famílias, enquanto estou aqui, presa em minha rotina.

Enquanto espero pelo último ônibus para casa, começo a pensar na pandemia de Covid-19 e em como o mundo se tornou um lugar tão assustador. Eu também penso em parar de fumar, talvez seja a única coisa que eu possa controlar em minha vida. Lembro que chegando em casa ainda terei que lidar com o namorado novo da minha mãe, um policial baixinho, que força pra ser gentil comprando presentinhos, não gosto dele! Mas antes que eu possa pensar mais, adormeço.

Quando acordo, estou em um ponto desconhecido, da cidade, o motorista do ônibus me acordou e pediu pra eu descer, ele saiu de moto apressado depois de estacionar o ônibus, ele simplismente me ignorou. Longe da cidade e sem bateria no celular sinto uma sensação de pânico tomar conta de mim. Já senti isso antes, por isso as vezes odeio ser mulher. Começo a andar, numa rua deserta de grandes galpoes sem nenhuma casa por perto, logo percebo que estou sendo seguida por um homem desconhecido. Não sei de onde ele saiu. Droga, tinha que ser um homem logo agora. Não consigo ver seu rosto, mas sinto sua presença atrás de mim, quase sinto a respiração ofegante em minha nuca.

Parte II . Ataque

Ele me ataca quando começo a correr, luto com todas minhas forças. Sinto minhas mãos tremerem enquanto tento me defender . Mas ele é forte e implacável, ele me domina e me arrasta para uma área deserta. Ele ri enquanto arranca meu casaco e me imobiliza.

O homem de máscara e capuz então começa a me torturar, usando um canivete para me cortar e causar dor. Ele se delicia com meus gritos e gemidos de agonia, rindo de satisfação enquanto o sangue começa a escorrer nos minúsculos cortes feitos, ele não queria me matar assim, ele queria sentir me meu medo.

Estou entregue, totalmente fragilizada pensando em desistir de lutar, mas vejo ele abrindo seu cinto de couro e sinto um ódio crescente por pensar no que ele poderia fazer comigo, então lembro do álcool líquido em minha bolsa. Maldito álcool líquido barato. Uso como defesa, jogando nos olhos e rosto do assassino e começo a correr. Mas ele continua vindo em minha direção.

Correndo tento pegar o celular, mas ele não está mais ali, a única coisa que sinto é meu isqueiro. O estranho coberto por uma máscara preta, com seus olhos selvagens e vermelhos me alcança me jogando no chão, ele não percebe que estou segurando o isqueiro. Acendo-o perto de sua máscara encharcada de álcool, coloco fogo em seu rosto que se espalha por seu capuz. Ele grita de dor, mas ainda assim tenta me alcançar. Com todas as minhas forças, consigo escapar e correr, chegando num ponto e pego um táxi até a casa de Clarissa, minha melhor amiga, ela mora só e não acredita em natal, só ela poderia me ajudar agora.

PARTE III: FIM DO PESADOR INICIO DE OUTRO

No caminho decido não contar o que aconteceu. Tenho medo de que, se eu falar, o medo vai me consumir e consumir todos ao meu redor, ele deve estar morto e eu vou ser presa se falar. Eu tento esquecer, e invento que foi só um assalto, mas não consigo. Toda vez que fecho os olhos, vejo a máscara preta do agressor e seus olhos selvagens vermelhos.

Meu verdadeiro terror vem quando chego em casa no dia seguinte. Minha mãe está lá, com uma expressão preocupada no rosto. Mas não estava preocupada comigo. Ela me diz que seu namorado policial foi atacado e queimado no rosto, e quase morreu. Eu começo a tremer, e preciso conseguir esconder a verdade do que aconteceu comigo naquela noite. O ataque que pensei que havia deixado para trás, ainda estava lá, esperando por mim. E eu teria que lidar com esse problema agora.

Mayukh Mukherjee

(Indian Actor) 

             Mayukh Mukherjee is an Indian actor and academic who works in Bengali film industry and has made several on-screen appearances from his childhood (since 2002). He made his debut in the Bengali mega serial Neel Seemana, which was aired on Zee Bangla from from which drew public attention for the first time.             Mayukh had the kick start on his acting  journey as a child artist in the year 2002, when he was 6 yrs old in the TV show  Sabujer Deshe as an anchor  in ETV Bangla. Forwardly  moved his film career  with new projects of  Telefilms named as Simante Dariye in the series of Panch Dine Golpo as the character Bubun,  Light House in series of Sudhu Tomari Jonnyo as Popo in ETV Bangla. Side by been a vital part of Megafilms named Neel Simana in Zee Bangla as Gaurav, in Aaleya as Bhola in DD7. Also been in Jaya as Mayukh in ETV Bangla, in Samparka as Bubun, in ETV Bangla. 

             In the year 2005 He continued in Soap Operas like Four Plus as Nayan in Akash Bangla, in Debi as Tutu in ETV Bangla and many other famous daily TV shows. Since he due to the study stess he made his attempts in only Telefilms and Feature Films like Bagh Bandi Khela as Rajesh in ETV Bangla, Viswa O Arjun as Arjun in ETV Bangla In one serise of Sadhak Bama Khepa as Gadadhar in ETV Bangla. Being out of the line a bit he has acted in a Soap Oprea- Andar Mahal as Neel in Akash Bangla. Later on he carried on with a telefilm- Drishti Pradip in DD7 in the year 2008. 

             He also played roles in some famous feature films like Priyotama as a hostel student and in Ek Nodir Galpo as Kashim. His last work was in Aye Tobe Sahochori as a senior ragging student. After those he is keeping a gap from being in front of the cameras as due to his higher educational aims.

            Mayukh Loves to do photography, play multiple musical instruments, practice painting and other fine arts subjects, Sports Weapon shooting, Swimming and many other stuff. He is basically a person with multiple talents and a multiple disciplinary person. He is also in social and charitable activities.

This person named Joefel Galpo or Jay for short is a 19 years old teenager and my only bestfriend in my entire life. To describe his appearance, he look like a star in the galaxy which is not big but small person. Whenever we met to each other, he always the clumsy one, handsome one, funny, and kind behavior. He likes to watch anime series that convince me to watch too, he recommend me a name of anime series and he likes me to watch those.

Moreover, for the very beggining me and my bestfriend met each other during our 8th grade at junior high school. During high school life, Joefel Galpo loves to being with me all the time where there are times that we almost worried to each other and having fun to each other. Aside from that, he's specifically from Las Piñas City but in the past few years that we met together, he's in their aunt house to continue his education after his mother died.

Furthermore, Joefel Galpo was being involved in relationship where he started to say to his girlfriend that "I will die for you" to ensure to his girlfriend that she never leave. After being in relationship, 3 months passing by he became sad boy and cry like a baby but in a quiet way, Joefel Galpo's girlfriend decided to break up with him because of his personalities, after that Joefel come back at me and told me that be will never go again in relationship.

Remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s classic Bawarchi gets writer-director; Anushree Mehta to helm the adaptation

Known for directing Radhika Apte starrer Mrs Undercover, Anushree Mehta is gearing up to take the modern day adaptation of the classic Bawarchi on floors.

The chef is back and is ready to cook up a storm. Filmmaker Anushree Mehta, who made her debut with the Radhika Apte starrer Mrs Undercover last year, has now come on board to direct the Hindi remake of the loved 1972 classic Bawarchi, which was originally helmed by Hrishikesh Mukherjee.

The family comedy drama featured an ensemble led by actors Rajesh Khanna, Jaya Bachchan and Asrani, among others. Bawarchi was a remake of Rabi Ghosh starrer 1966 Bengali film Galpo Holeo Satti by Tapan Sinha.

The adaptation of the Hrishikesh Mukherjee feature will be the first movie out of the three-film collaboration between Jaadugar Films and Sameer Raj Sippy Productions. They will also remake timeless classics like Amitabh Bachchan-Jaya Bachchan starrer Mili (1975) and Gulzar's iconic 1972 drama Koshish.

Anushree Mehta described directing the Bawarchi adaptation as a "kaleidoscopic combination" of being excited, honoured, humbled coupled with the awareness of shouldering a "massive responsibility."

She said, "When my business partner Abir Sengupta (Jaadugar Films), Sameer Raj Sippy and I decided to join hands to produce these three iconic films, we were clear that we would leave no stone unturned in remaking them with utmost love and respect. During our discussion on Bawarchi, Abir and Sameer were of the opinion that I should be writing and directing the remake.”

She added, "They were convinced that I would be able to tell the story in a manner which would make them proud. We were in sync with our vision and I whole heartedly agreed to come board as the writer-director."

Remaking a loved classic such as Bawarchi naturally comes with a huge responsibility, but Anushree said that the adaptation would echo her "confidence, honesty and sensitivity."

"The idea of retelling a film is to adapt it according to the current times and make it more relatable to the world we live in today—while keeping the soul and purpose of the original intact. Since Bawarchi itself was a remake of a Bengali film, Hrishida in his time recreated it and made it relatable to that era. My attempt is going to be with a similar intention, to retell the classic story of Bawarchi in a way that the family audiences of all age groups can watch and enjoy the movie together. I'm aiming to create a wholesome, unforgettable family experience," she added.

Anushree Mehta has finished writing the Bawarchi adaptation and hopes to get the film on floors in 2024. Casting of the film is underway, with makers looking to lock an A list star.
