I have not written Part 8/JoJolion in a hot minute so I apologize if something is off. Made this me rambling thoughts on his behavior in general more than an actual plot.

Okay, Josuke is an interesting case in this universe.

He's a fusion of two people... but that doesn't show much importance in this fic as he doesn't view himself as either one.

He doesn't even really have memories of either past life he had.

His memories started the moment Yasuho picked him out of the dirt.

Josuke is a competent character, as in he can fight and plan well with his Stand.

Although, he's an amnesiac and often seems clueless about things.

A notable trait of his is his love for family and friends.

He can be manipulative to get what he wants, usually from foes.

He can also be violent, but usually doesn't kill unless he has to.

I feel Josuke isn't that bad of a yandere, similar to his Part 4 counterpart.

He seems like a character you could have a mostly normal relationship with.

Even though he's an amnesiac, once he knows who his two halves are he doesn't seem to consider himself either one of them.

To connect you to Josuke, maybe you're a friend of Yasuho's?

Josuke's feelings are rather... innocent compared to how most other characters treat their obsessions.

He's not well versed in romance and is admittedly a bit nervous about confessing to you.

In terms of how fast his obsession is...?

It's a little past 'at first sight'

Josuke may struggle to trust you at first, especially if he is still trying to figure out who he is.

Due to being attacked by Stand Users because of who he was... It's understandable he'd need time.

Yet when Josuke trusts you?

He'd protect you with his life.

He isn't possessive... I highly doubt he wants to own you.

He's definitely a protective yandere with obsessive behavior.

Even more so if this is during Part 8 and he's being attacked by Stand Users left and right.

In the manga, Stand Users tended to attack Yasuho too.

Which means Josuke wouldn't want his obsession to leave his sight.

He fears the idea of you getting hurt.

If you ever did, that's when he gets violent.

While he doesn't typically kill... He isn't afraid of it.

If it meant protecting you, there's little hesitation.

Out of jealousy, however?

Not a chance.

Josuke doesn't really act on his jealousy all too much.

He feels it, yeah, but he doesn't like to jeopardize your happiness or how you feel for him.

Although... He may use his Stand to mess with them.

He can do things like take their sight or friction.

Josuke may just make rivals look like a fool in front of you, then encourage you to laugh or something.

He's mostly harmless.

Just a guy who wants to protect those he loves.

Although... It's a bit odd that he always seems to know where you are and likes to follow you around.

(Plot twist: Yasuho might be enabling him.)

When you ask about it, he's either oblivious or excuses it as him being worried for you.

Considering how trustworthy Josuke is, you may just believe him.

His yandere behavior is so subtle.

He's learned how to be manipulative in his enemy encounters, meaning he could easily lie to get away with something.

You've always found many of his mannerisms weird... but he's overall a polite and respectful guy, right?

Josuke could probably confess one of two ways.

He's either really shy and takes time to confess with you, worried about what you'll think of him.

That or he's really blunt and just blurts out that he loves you.

Those are the two ways I can imagine him admitting how he feels.

It doesn't even come off as creepy or wrong... It's almost cute.

Which makes you not suspect a thing.

Most of his yandere behavior he'd probably be oblivious too.

His manipulation is debatable but other than that he just seems unaware.

He's a clingy yet subtle yandere.

He doesn't even view his clingy behavior as bad.

He just thinks he's protecting you and has no idea he's doing it out of jealousy or anything like that.

He just loves you.

If he loves you, he should stick around, right?

You could probably excuse most of his behavior as him being new to love.

His lack of boundaries and defensive behavior around other people?

Must be normal.

The best part about him is the fact he isn't as threatening of a yandere compared to other Joestars.

As said before, he's reminiscent of Part 4 Josuke with the whole childish behavior and need to protect.

However... He doesn't have that uncontrollable rage like Part 4 Josuke.

Part 8 Josuke is more calm and controlled, often thinking his actions through when it comes to dealing with others.

He's not as easily jealous as his counterpart, probably due to him being part Kira which helps him control his emotions.

He does have moments of intense emotion, though.

Like being overly excited and sometimes showing determined anger.

Yet Josuke would not kidnap.

He wouldn't really isolate you, but he always seems to be part of your life.

The only time he kills is because your life is in danger.

Even then he takes little joy in it.

Josuke finds family in you.

Such a thing is important to him.

Which means, you're important to him.

Josuke would do anything for you.

Such behavior is shown when you two date.

He wants to give you gifts, always be around you... He clings to you.

His kisses are inexperienced yet passionate.

He always seems cuddly.

You think it's innocent.

He's clingy because you're his partner.

Although... Perhaps part of it is him being scared to lose you.

Josuke refuses to lose you like he lost his memories.

He may seem innocent, for the most part he is actually.

Yet Josuke will do anything to keep you his.

Even if it means ensuring he never leaves your side by following you... That man would follow you to the ends of the Earth if it meant you two could stay together...

Disqualifications!

So obviously with my limited list, there's lots of Sanses I missed or skipped over and I have about 7 reasons why individuals might not of made it to the final cut. It should be mentioned up front that I have a secondary list with all the aus who just didn't make the final cut and certain aus used as examples here may eventually be included but that will be after the completion of this project and thus a LONG ways off.

1. They are kids themselves canonically and they not aged up in their common au appearance. Some examples of these usually-a-kid aus are Sanses like time kid (and his variants) as well as asylum. They are children therefore can not have children. (I'm aware there is a canonical adult form of time kid but he's not how time kid is usually presented. I'm also aware of other people's personal takes on asylumtale that ages Sans up but id rather go abit closer to the base material and since there is no canoncial adult asylumtale sans and his og creator never aged him up, he will remain here)

2. They are from a bigoted or deeply problematic au. This surprisingly doesn't take too many aus off the counter but aus like "tribaltale" or "freedomtale" are racist and problematic. I've also taken off any aus steeped in incest and ones where sans and papyrus are the same being (Specifically six bones) because I just do not want to deal with all'at.

3. I didn't know them personally enough. This is technically my fault but there's some popular aus I just... Don't really know the story enough to make ship kids from them. This includes some aus like paper crane and epictale but if I become more acquainted with the story at a later date, I will absolutely consider adding them later.

4. They didn't have enough of a hook to make characters off of. This is also technically subjective but some aus(especially the newer ones who are still considered in some form of development like mint, anxiety and echo flower) just aren't different enough from the ones already included for me to really make a unique ship kid. Like a classic x anxiety kiddo would just be all of classic's kids with built in anxiety, there wouldn't be much of a difference. This rule could be backed down off of but yeah.

5. They are a ship kid themselves. Obviously I don't wanna mix generation 0 Sanses with generation 1 or 2 ship kids. No goth x fresh or something gross and age gappy pedo shit like that. Not to mention I'm basically just making a three way ship with extra steps and the idea of that (without the shipkid) is a whole different project all on its own.

6. They were too deep in sub aus or were just too basically of a mix between two aus the sanes is more of a fusion instead of an actual stand alone au. This rule is also subjective. Obviously you could point to my multiple swapfells but here I'm more so talking about the more difficult contenders and straight up fusions like freshink, flowerfell and other things that would not only hit this disqualification but also hit number 4.

7. Too new. I'm going for a more retro feeling to this project and I don't want to include a sans who isn't really a staple of the community people will recognize.

And that's about it. Obviously I have no Ill will towards the creators of the Sanses I didn't include (except for the makers of those racist aus, fuck you.) but, it should be mentioned, just because an au is present doesn't mean I endorse the creator or they endorse me. I'm only making ship kids because the creator showed allowance/impartialty towards people making ship kids with their Sanses.

All in all I have that secondary list and if I still have the ship kid it h after this project, maybe I'll add them maybe I won't. We'll just have to see! :)

This is a mesh fix! I have always really liked this separated H&M top that SharonSims2 made. This post is of a recolor that @bunsblr did - SharonSims2′s MTS account and all its creations seem to have vanished. :( That mesh was then fixed by lvstndhrt, as SharonSims2′s mesh seemed to make people’s games crash! However, even that fixed mesh it had issues. It had some black spots (hard to ignore once you notice them) at the bottom of the mesh and it still had the bangle attached. There was a gappy seam at the arm where the bangle was removed and it clipped with some bottoms. So since I have now learned a little more about meshing, I fixed this. 

Please let this file overwrite “lvstndhrt_HMTop_Mesh” in your game if you already have this top. If you don’t have it already, please get a recolor from the original download here or lvstndhrt’s fix here.

Fixes:

- bumped out the bottom of the mesh to accommodate bulkier bottoms without clipping

- added a better fat morph and a preg morph 

- fixed gap in right arm (where the bangle was removed)

- fixed “black spots” at the bottom of the mesh
