Most/Least Tag Game
Rules: give us the links to your wonderful works with the Most hits/Most kudos/Most comments/Most bookmarks/Most words/Fewest words
(To find this information, go to your AO3 dashboard, then select 'statistics,' and you can filter your works according to various metrics)
Most Hits If we're talking any work, then miscellaneous Open Skies images, but for fics, it's Will You Walk With Me? The former only has so many hits because it's a huge sketch dump of mostly Waxer/Boil images (G - E ratings) and is currently sitting at 71 chapters 😅 The latter (rated T) is the first long fic I wrote—Waxer pov, and focused on his experiences in the war, as well as his and Boil's friendship. 🧡
Most Kudos That’s Not How It Happened (This Is How It Happened), which is the first fic I ever wrote. It's a Fives' pov chip arc fix-it, rated T.
Most Comments miscellaneous Open Skies images again, I'm sure because of the sheer volume of chapters. WYWWM is in second place.
Most Bookmarks Oh, interesting! I've seldom looked at these stats, but it makes sense that Star Wars: The Clone Wars Republic Military Hierarchy Flowcharts would have the most bookmarks, since it's a resource rather than a fic or art.
Most Words Will You Walk With Me? at about 102K.
Fewest Words Hmm, because of all the images I have on AO3, most of which are 0 words, lemme find the fic with the fewest words. I'm guessing various drabbles will be tied for 100... Yeah, there are several, but Still Alive, rated T, is the one AO3 lists 'last.' The summary is: Waxer wakes up after Umbara.
No-pressure tags, especially since I know it's not great for some folks' mental health to look at their AO3 stats: @lizardberries @alamogirl80 @elismor @blackkatmagic @amukmuk @phantom-of-the-keurig @trudemaethien

Note: Since my old masterlist is getting notes again (and I'm hosting @tbb-appreciation-week this year), I thought it's a good time to release a new version with a lot more resources. If any of you know another site or thing that it's missing from the list, let me know and I'll include it!! [Altho, I'm getting this close 🤏 to the hyperlinks limit on this thing 😆]
Note 2: To avoid tagging the 3 people from whom I got multiple resources repeatedly, I've placed 1-3 asterisks between square brackets after the links, depending on the OP. I give the respective credit to them in a legend at the end of the post.

The amazing @fox-trot, who not only makes astonishing art and write an amazing fic, she also responds to medical questions and gives all kinds of references for writing medic characters. @archeo-starwars In-universe sources on culture and history.
@clonewarsarchives Resources & Concept Art Blog for The Clone Wars animated series.
Wookiepedia If you don't find something in here, it's probably because it doesn't exist, neither as a canon nor legends reference.
Star Wars Databank: The official Star Wars website's reference guide. All canon.
WRITING IN GENERAL (For those who don't want to die like Stormtroopers)
SlickWrite: Completely free; online. Checks grammar, punctuation, flow, and writing style according to different settings (including fiction writing).
ProWritingAid: [RECOMMENDED] One of the most thorough online proofreader I've ever used. Although when using a free account gives extremely thorough feedback, with +20 different in-depth reports, for only the first 500 words. However, you can earn a premium account license (for a year or for life) if you get 10 or 20 new users signing up for free; (if you wouldn't mind doing so using the link above and help me earn mine, please). The settings allow you to check your writing according to your needs, from general to formal to creative. It has a bonus that you can check depending on the genre you're writing. For example, in creative, you can choose romance or sci-fiction (there are 14 sub-genre in total). And just like google docs, you can share a document, and people can view, comment or edit it too.
LanguageTool: [RECOMMENDED] Another excellent proofreader. It also has a word limit in free accounts, but if you use the add-on for Google Docs, it counts each page as a new document, so hitting the word limit is nearly impossible. It helps you to rewrite a sentence (3 a day), even if it doesn't raise any flags; it's very useful for when your sentence is grammatically correct, but it doesn't feel quite right.
Grammarly, Hemingway Editor: No so great, but they do the basic job.

looking at all the information in front of me like. why was obi wan even on the ground in the thick of the fighting anyways. i mean yes, jedi are indispensable on a battlefield but......
obi wan had control of 1 systems army which is composed of:
2 sector armies
8 corps
32 legions
128 regiments
512 battalions
2,048 companies
8,192 platoons
32,768 squads of 9 troopers each, totaling to:
294,912 clones. and i have no clue if that’s counting support troops like engineers, medics, etc or if this is just raw boots on the ground.
the wiki corroborates this number:
Tumblr media
if he’s.... in charge of it all........ wouldn’t it be a huge risk to have him on the ground. i mean yes, suspend disbelief, and i firmly believe that obi-wan wouldn’t stand to send men into the line of fire if he wasn’t leading from the front lines but. it,,, doesn’t really make sense for him to do that
chinhands....... i wonder how the GAR ran itself. i mean it’s not like there was only one battle happening in the galaxy at a time. multiple engagements probably happened concurrently, with reinforcements shoring up battles in other theaters of war if they were able, possibly even right after the conclusion of another battle. i mean it would be impossible for obi-wan to really oversee EVERY battle, but he’d probably want to be able to review and coordinate across the multiple deployed units in the galaxy. (and honestly mace has this same problem too but in the flowchart he has multiple other jedi under his command while obi-wan seems to command forces entirely made up of clones aside from anakin and ahsoka. with so many more force users in his systems army it’s probably easier to combat specific threats e.g.: enemy force users with their help. of course this is all very much GAR specific i’m not talking about the open circle armada which is a whole different can of worms)
either obi-wan is the most overworked man in the history of galactic warfare or there is something missing from this aspect of tcw worldbuilding. specifically other jedi who can take up the slack because obi-wan CANNOT be singlehandedly coordinating 300k men. yes delegation to his commanders and they delegate to their captains and so on and so forth but like,,, tcw makes it seem like he’s always on the frontlines no matter what the battle is. and when he’s on the ground, it would be impossible to address issues rising in a different battle in a different planet or whatever. what the hell does obi-wan’s meeting itinerary look like. his aide de camps must be running themselves to the mf ground

Jedi Order Structure
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Since there's been all sorts of GAR flowcharts of command floating about, and for all my research, I couldn't find any for the Jedi, so I decided to make it happen. This is a hybrid of legends and lucasfilm canon, but leans more towards legends/EU, because it's good. Hope this comes in handy for all you all Jedi-writers!

Ep. 20 Minggu Santuy (28.06.2020)
Moin,
Sempet baca2 soal trs ga lama kemudian kami masak.
Menu makan siangnya lumayan banyak dan enak. Kami ngabisin sisa tahu sama daging babi. Tahunya dibalur tepung, terus digoreng. Babinya kami tumis bawang merah putih, trs tambahin air dikit biar ada kuah2nya gitu. Plus gua buat sambel juga. Gampang sih cuma bawang merah sama cabe gua ulek. Enak juga ternyata. Trs itu semua kami makan pake nasi panas2. Toppp. Dagingnya sih enak bgt soalnya udh dari kemarin dibumbuin trs disimpen aja di kulkas. Trs rencananya makan malam mau makan indomie aja karena bahan2 makanan gua juga udh mulai habis.
Sore2 menjelang jam 4an, mulai mager2an lagi karena cuacanya juga dukung bgt akhirnya gua bobo lagi sekitar 1-2 jam doang. Bangun2 gua langsung mandi terus langsung belajar bener deeh.
Gatau buat apa, iseng aja. Gua pelajarin dulu awalnya gmn cara baca Hiragana sama Katakana. Seru sih jadinya kaya mainan puzzle. Itung2 buat ngasah otak juga, jadi kenapa ngga. Jadi waktu istirahat gua tadi gua pake buat mainan duolingo. Mayan la skrng gua bisa baca2 dikit tulisan jepang, walaupun blm tau artinya, lol. Semoga aja bisa terus bertahan.
Gua harus menikmati bgt nih waktu2 di rumah. Karena gua ngga kerja juga. Gua bisa seharian di rumah. Udah lama bgt rasanya ga gini. Meskipun di rumah ga santai2, tapi enak aja berada di rumah seharian. Karena gua rasa gini, di saat pandemi gini, semua org stuck di rumah, sedangkan gua kaya mesti tetep kerja di luar. Kaya berasa gimana gitu. Enak sih gua tetep bisa mencari nafkah, tp kadang butuh istirahat. Skrng ni waktunya istirahat secara fisik, jadi nikmatilah, gar.
Malem ini enak sih makan indomie, besok baru palingan gua bakal belanja makan. Yowes.
Sekian ya buat hari ini,
Danke, Tschüß!

Question! I'm updating my GAR flowcharts, and was thinking about how, in fics, Fox is usually a Clone Marshal Commander, rather than a Clone Commander. On Wookieepedia, it says he's one of the most highly decorated soldiers in the Republic army, but as far as I can tell does not say he's a CMC.
Thoughts?

Hey!! This is super random but 1) I wanna just say I FREAKING LOVE YOUR ART!!! The shading and the absolute precision and also the BACKGROUNDS are freaking incredible!!
2) THANK YOU FOR THE MILITARY FLOWCHART. LITERALLY SAVED ME. I’m trying to figure out how my clone OCs and Jedi fit into the GAR and that flowchart was incredibly helpful!!
3) that Hardcase emote you made for the clone wars zine has me absolutely cackling and I’m going to use it all the time now THANK YOU
That’s all from me!! Just wanted to drop in and say you’re a major inspiration and I love what you do!! Keep it up!!! 🥰
1) Thank you so much for the kind words! T^T <3
2) Ahh, I’m so happy! Those charts took me ages but I had a lot of fun with them, so it’s very gratifying that they’re useful. I’ve spotted a couple minor oversights in the past couple weeks that I need to add, but I’ll get to them. Apparently Jet is also a spec ops trooper? Anyway. XD
3) Hahaha, that was so much fun! As soon as I thought about an emoji, I was like, “Hellmo, but Hardcase” XD
This was such a lovely message to wake up to! Thank you for brightening my day. :)
