- BIO -
Meet Shamira Brooke, a wildlife conservationist who is very dedicated to protecting wildlife such as animals, plants, and the environment. She is also the surrogate albiet protective mother figure to Crash and Coco, for she had adopted them as her own and is willing to protect them along the Wumpa Islands.
For as long as she could remember, Shamira has always loved nature. As a little kid, she was very adventurous in the outdoors and explored her surroundings to find plants or animals she had encountered in her home of Australia. Little Shamira was very happy till her family had to move away for her father got a new job to a big city of Los Angelas that was very polluted, and there were hardly any forests for her to go to, nor were there any animals to find. Shamira has learned a harsh reality that people didn't care nor knew about how important nature was when she saw how much forests have been destroyed and learned that many animals or plants have gone extinct. Shamira would dedicate her life to helping the wildlife or animals, then after graduation and earning a master's degree, would go down on a wildlife career path from studying biology and ecology.
Finally, she was ready and had the skills to take on the job as a wildlife conservationist. Shamira Brooke was the best there was and would explore around the world to any forests, deserts, mountains or any kind of habitat that needed to be preserved then to spread the word of how important it is. Shamira has trained herself to be the strongest and most athletic so she could survive in the wild. She uses two boomerangs to defend herself but won't hesitate to get her hands dirty, and she always has carried many important essentials in her traveling backpack she carries around with.
There were three mystical islands she had discovered from sailing across the seas and went on to explore the islands. She would study and learn about the islands that are called " Wumpa Islands." Shamira would observe the wildlife and was careful not to disturb the natives that lived there, She loved the animals and the plants there for she had studied them non stop for several months while writing down her discoveries in her journal until she had to go back home to show off her discoveries. Shamira was very proud of finding the islands and to help preserve them, for she saw that there were some rare animal species she had found, including bandicoots that were almost near extinction. Shamira would later discover a very special blackwood tree that only grew on the island, and she would cut out a few of its bark to create herself two new boomerangs. They are as strong as steel and cut through anything, and they will always come back to her whenever she throws them.
She shared her discoveries and was well praised for it, which made her more motivated than ever to spread the word further, however she has to explore to other continents of the world to find other forms of wildlife that are yet to be discovered. She would be pretty busy and wasn't able to come back to the Wumpa Islands for quite some time, so the islands were left alone. Over the past few years, she would finally return the Islands but saw that it went under some changes and found a strange castle on the 3rd island which she immediately went there to confront the person who built it there. Shamira would meet Dr. Neo Cortex demanded to move his castle out, or she would boot him out herself. She was quickly captured by his lab assistants and was locked away in his dungeon. It all seemed hopeless till Crash rescues her when he came across her prison cell, and she would go on to go through the lab to release as many animals as she could then load them to the blimp where she drives it where Crash is on top of the blimp to fight Cortex.
After Crash defeats the mad scientist and is able to rescue Tawna, Shamira drives the blimp back to the 1st island and to release the animals back to their own habitats. Later on, Tawna would leave on her own, and then Coco would find them to live with them. She felt very guilty and irresponsible for not protecting the islands and how some of the environments suffered greatly from Dr. Cortex, and he was going to take over the world if it wasn't for Crash to stop him. Shamira was very impressed that he stopped the mad scientist but saw that Crash and his sister were just kids that needed someone to look after them aside from Aku Aku, and so Shamira would adopt the bandicoots then to stay permanently on the islands so that she would be able to preserve it better and to make up for her mistakes of leaving it unprotected. Shamira has yet to forgive herself, and the guilt weighs very heavy on her despite how much she was told that it wasn't her own fault to begin with. In her mind, she still believes it was her own fault that the islands and the animals had suffered greatly because of her negligence.
Shamira Brooke would be a caring but protective mother figure to Crash and Coco, and she does well to take care of them the best she can. Shamira would love to educate them and keep them healthy by cooking them healthy meals or helping them exercise while making sure that no harm comes to them. Other than that, she would continue her studies on the islands and try to repair the damaged parts of the islands. It is pretty challenging for her to raise the bandicoots while preserving the islands, but she wouldn't have it either way, and it was all worth it. Aku Aku helps her raise the bandicoots, and he does give her his wisdom to guide her through tough situations.
During the Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back events, Shamira finds out that Cortex was up to no good and has manipulated Crash of collecting crystals when Coco told her. She didn't want to wait around and was quick to take action of finding Crash and to stop him from giving the crystals to the mad scientist, for she holds a pretty heavy grudge against him. Soon, Cortex was aware that Shamira would ruin his plans for she was looking for Crash, so he was quick to capture her and then hold her captive in the space station within a cell. Later on, Professor M. Pathy would join her in the cell. Shamira would quickly learn that M. Pathy used to work with him, which she was understandably furious with her and berated her. The professor was quick to explain that she was tricked into building the Cortex Vortex with him and believed what she was doing was good till she discovered his true intentions, Shamira was hesitant to believe her but saw how very remorseful M. Pathy was and that she did give a tearful apology to her.
Coco eventually finds out that Shamira and Professor M. Pathy are being held captive in the space station and helped break them out by hacking the security systems to release them from their prison cell so they can reach an escape pod to leave the Cortex Vortex and back to earth on N. Sanity Island. The professor would meet Crash and Coco to profusely apologize for helping Cortex, but she was quickly forgiven by the Bandicoots. Touched by their kindness, She would stay on the island to help the bandicoots, which Shamira didn't protest for she grew to like her and did need her help. Shamira would become great friends with Professor M. Pathy and they had a lot in common while sharing similar goals in the events of Crash Bandicoot Warped they would work together of gathering crystals themselves.
They don't agree on everything and that she finds her a bit naive, Shamira encourages her to be more to be more wary. The professor helps calm her down and wants her to be less impulsive, always the voice of reason to her. After spending much time with the professor, the more she started to develop feelings for her, the more she started to become more affectionate while flirty with her. Shamira was pretty nervous herself asking her out and didn't know how to do it, but M. Pathy would ask her out before she could. They have gone on a lot of dates and officially became a couple where they would happily raise the bandicoots together alongside Aku Aku.

Fresh Veggies Day
Head to a farmer’s market, U-Pick veggie field, or even your own backyard garden and see what delicious and nutritious meals you can make with fresh veggies.
How many portions of fresh veggies does it take to keep a person healthy? Five portions a day? Seven? Ten? And what makes up a portion?
Nutritionists agree, when it comes to fresh fruit and vegetables, the average person simply is not getting enough in their regular diet. An increase in daily consumption of vegetables (and fruits) is the entire point of the day.
Get ready to make a healthy change on Fresh Veggies Day! This is the ideal opportunity to invite family, friends, and neighbors around for a fun and surprising meat-free feast!
History of Fresh Veggies Day
Fresh Veggies Day is celebrated in early summer when the tastiest new-season vegetables started to become plentiful. It’s a great kickoff to the rest of the summer, acting as a reminder to look out for fresh, local vegetables to add to the table all throughout the season. In fact, the entire month of June is known by some as Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Month, so that gives plenty of time to create new habits!
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), individuals should eat at a minimum of 400 grams of vegetables and fruit each day (this doesn’t count as super-starchy tubers like potatoes). This has turned into a 5-a-Day program that has gone through various versions in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and other countries.
Farmers and growers are certainly happy to get on board with Fresh Veggies Day, offering the best of everything they have in season at the moment. But don’t stop there! Be sure to get into the spirit of the day by eating fresh veggies all throughout the year as the growing season permits. Plus, extras can be frozen to make it through the winter!
How to Celebrate Fresh Veggies Day
Getting into the celebration of Fresh Veggies Day is a pretty simple idea that might take a little planning but is totally worth it. Do something enjoyable, delicious, and extremely healthy for the family, like these activities:
Head Out to a Farmers’ Market
While keeping at least one eye on the weather, take a trip to a local farmers’ market or specialist food store and stock up on whatever happens to be ripe – along with some free recipe ideas. Also, it’s super fun to actually speak to the person who grew those vegetables! There will also likely be other local businesses represented at a farmers’ market, such as bakers, honey harvesters, jam makers, local coffee roasters and much more. It’s a fun way to support local businesses and be healthy in the process.
Go to a U-Pick Veggies Farm
For some early crops, it may even be possible to go to a farm and pick your own. Why not get some friends together and plan a day out? Depending on the particular location, you-pick farms may have seasonal offerings that include fresh foods such as asparagus, peas, tomatoes and more. Fruit is a very popular U-pick food as well, often offering apples, strawberries, blueberries, rhubarb and much more.
Not sure where to find a U-pick farm in a nearby location? Make use of this little online tool to see if it provides options that are easily accessible and local.
Get Fresh Veggies Delivered
Going to a local farmers’ market or U-Pick Farm can be a lot of fun, but if it’s hard to access, then consider having fresh fruits and vegetables delivered right to your door. Most cities and towns offer produce delivery services which are great for the health as well as for the earth.
Some of them pick out less-than-perfect-looking vegetables that arrive at the door looking less than beautiful but saving the earth by avoiding a ton of waste. Imperfect Foods, Misfit Market, The Chef’s Garden, and Farmbox Direct are just a few of the range of produce delivery services that have become popular in recent years. Check online to see what’s available based on location.
Grow a Garden in the Backyard
Of course, most gardeners will confess that nothing beats the pride, satisfaction and taste of home-grown vegetables. Seed clubs and gardening forums make it easy, and affordable for a person to cultivate their own weird and wonderful varieties of fresh vegetables.
People who want to lengthen the growing season and get a jumpstart can begin earlier in the spring by sowing seeds in small containers inside. Then, when the weather warms in the local area, these little seedlings can be moved outside.
There is hardly anything tastier than eating a vegetable or fruit from a garden that you have personally grown!
Eat a Selection of Fresh Veggies
Keeping a variety of fresh veggies around the house is the best way to make sure enough are eaten each day. After bringing them home from the store, it might be helpful to cut or chop them right away so they’re simple to grab as a snack without much preparation. Some of the healthiest veggies on the planet are:
Spinach. This superfood is packed with nutrients. One cup of raw, fresh spinach provides more than half of the daily allowance of Vitamin A, and 100% of the daily requirement for Vitamin K. It’s also high in beta carotene and lutein, which are super useful antioxidants.
Carrots. With more than 400% of the daily allowance of Vitamin A, carrots are pretty far at the top of the list, healthwise. Plus, they’re easy to grow, simple to store, and last a long time. There are even some studies that show people who eat carrots regularly may reduce their risk of cancer!
Broccoli. Fresh, dark greens are so healthy for the human body, and broccoli is no exception. It’s filled with Vitamin K, Vitamin C, manganese, folic acid and potassium.
Check out the My Plate Website and App
For more information on which vegetables offer the best nutrition and health benefits, visit the My Plate website. The program offers information on how much a ‘serving’ of vegetable contains, what the suggestions are for a person from different age groups, and even how to count beans and lentils!
To make things even simpler, there’s even an app that can be downloaded to help track healthy eating habits on the go with a smartphone or smartwatch.
Try Out Some New Recipes
If it’s hard to imagine adding veggies to meals, perhaps, look for inspiration by sharing new recipes. The Mediterranean Diet is considered to be one of the most healthy on earth, and many recipes can be found that include unprocessed fresh veggies. The meal plan often includes grilling vegetables, such as tomatoes, broccoli, cucumber, kale, spinach, onions, and more in olive oil and pairing with healthy meats such as fresh fish or even putting them on sandwiches.
When it comes to Fresh Veggies Day, there’s no end to the way vegetables can be included in meals–not just on this day but every day!

“fighting filth with forks and flowers, and is essentially the illicit cultivation of someone else’s land”.”
Source:Richard Reynolds, On Guerrilla Gardening: A Handbook for Gardening Without Boundaries.
Every city has areas of weed filled or bare land that may have once had gardens long neglected, or been cleared then forgotten. Guerilla Gardening is taking these areas and making them beautiful or even functional without requesting permission from the land owner.
In Australia this is actually illegal because our western mentality is so entrenched in the idea of land ownership over purpose or function but don’t worry about that. Just be smart and careful!
How to start Guerilla Gardening:
Find your area
Ideally somewhere that is near to your home or that you frequent often for convenience and so you can keep an eye on your progress or any attacks. Look for easy to access, bare ground that isn’t obviously under someone's observation. Eg, an overgrown patch of weeds next to a footpath  near your office is probably fine, your neighbours backyard is not
Select your plants
What purpose do you want for your space? Is it to be beautiful? Grow food? Encourage bees and insects? Determine the outcome you want and then make a list of the types of plants that would work in the climate, conditions and season. Bear in mind to use natives as much as possible and avoid invasive species. Make your reclaimed space as useful as possible with suitable, non-invasive edibles, and kick start a serious urban food forest. Make sure your plants are hardy and low maintenance as well to give them the best chance of survival.
Hit up local nurseries, community groups, neighbours or even local councils for the plants you want to use. As these plants are going to be in public places they may be stolen, destroyed or eaten by animals so only plant what you’re willing to lose! Research whether you want to start with seeds or already established plants. Borrow the tools you need and grab the mulch or fertiliser from giveaways on marketplace or community groups.
Organise a time and recruit a friend to start working on your project
-OR-
Build some Seed Bombs for a more subtle influence.
Start your garden, clearing out as required and planting your selected plants. If you’re concerned about getting in trouble, do your gardening at night or just west hi vis and act confident
Make sure to check it regularly, watering and caring for the plants as required
Congratulations! You are now a Guerilla Gardener!

Rubble, and Rammed Earth in Architectural Design
During World War Two, rubble was created from the Blitz Bombings, where hundreds of buildings were flattened. Due to the density of Portsmouth, any bombs that dropped caused devastating amounts of damage.
A lot of the most historic buildings across the city were destroyed in the bombings, and the buildings that took their place never quite matched what was there before (The Portsmouth Blitz, 2022).
However, some of these bomb sites were turned into sites of hope. Sites which became playgrounds, markets, and garden parties. They reminded people of what had happened, but inspired people, leaving them hopeful about the future of the war (Staveley-Wadham, 2022). The bombings unleashed layers of soil that had previously been built over, and were turned into spaces where flowers could bloom and flourish.
People often began to innovate, and create new methods of cooking food from artefacts that you may find at a bomb site. At Stanton County School, in Burton, Derbyshire, the Swadlincote and Stanton Civil Defence cooked meals 'consisting of cottage pie, peas and carrots, followed by a sweet and a cup of tea' (Staveley-Wadham, 2022) using these materials, showing that even the rubble from a bomb site can be put to use for good.
However, the leftover bomb sites were also hazardous, as they became a dumping ground for rubbish and other waste, germ infested, as well as being an inviting place for rats as well. There had been a lot of deaths directly due to these bomb sites, where broken walls had given way. People protested about how they needed homes, not bomb sites, trying to get the government to do something and start the process of rebuilding. So while the bombsites had momentary positives, on the whole, they were scars on the landscape, which is why most of these sites were hastily rebuilt over (Staveley-Wadham, 2022).
Across the UK, a lot of the rubble left in cities was transported to other countries, used as weight for the ships. Some of the UK's rubble was used in expanding the land mass of Manhattan, New York. In Liverpool, a lot of the cities rubble was put on Crosby Beach, and you can still see bricks and rubble there to this day. Some of the rocks and stones along this beach hold deeper clues, as some are parts of old gravestones (Schultz, 2019).
It is likely that in Portsmouth, the rubble was moved off Portsea Island due to the lack of space. It may have been used to solidify the Southsea coastline, to prevent erosion and damage to the defence structures (Why – Southsea Coastal Scheme, n.d.).
Through researching into the rubble that was left over from the World War Two bombings, I started to think about how rammed earth could be used as a building tool.
Portsmouth as a city lacks the open green space where traditionally you may source more sustainable building materials from such as wood. However rammed earth in construction may be a solution to this, and could have been adopted after the war if the knowledge of this method was wider known.
Rammed earth architecture occurs in places where the soil is suitable to be used for this purpose. It is more suitable in warmer, drier places, as opposed to the UK. It is often used in Australia because of this reason. It involves ramming soil, stone, gravel and clay into formwork structures, which, when the earth is dry, are then removed to leave the constructed wall. It has been used for thousands of years due to the lack of skill needed to complete it. It has been used in Morocco a lot, where the red soil is formed into red-tinged structures on top of hills. Testing would need to be done on the rubble and leftover soil from the Blitz to determine whether it would have been suitable for construction in some form (A Guide to Rammed Earth Construction - First in Architecture, 2019).
It is interesting to think about whether I could incorporate rammed earth into my design, but I think with the quality of soil that is required, it is not feasible to do this in the UK.

What is the difference between a pruner and a secateur?
Pruners and secateurs are indispensable tools for gardening and landscaping, frequently employed to trim, cut, and shape plants. Although these terms are often used interchangeably, there are slight differences between them based on where they are used and how they are specifically applied. Having a good grasp of the distinction between pruners and secateurs can assist gardening enthusiasts in choosing the appropriate tool for their specific requirements, resulting in improved plant well-being and more convenient upkeep.    Understanding Pruners and Secateurs  Pruners are a must-have for any gardening enthusiast. These versatile tools come in different sizes and designs, perfect for pruning, trimming, or cutting plants. From compact hand tools to longer-handled loppers, there's a pruner for every gardening need. There are various types of pruners available, including hand pruners, loppers, hedge shears, and more. There is a wide variety of tools available, each designed for specific gardening tasks. As an avid gardener, you'll appreciate the versatility of hand pruners and loppers. Hand pruners are perfect for delicate tasks like trimming stems and branches, while loppers are designed to tackle those thicker branches with their long handles. CutAbove Tools offers the best long handled secateurs.    Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, Australia, and various other regions, the term "secateurs" is used to describe hand pruners. These handy tools are perfect for meticulous pruning and cutting of plants. Secateurs are commonly used for tasks such as trimming shrubs, cutting small branches, and deadheading flowers. They are essential tools for any gardening enthusiast.    Simply put, pruners encompass a variety of cutting tools, while secateurs are a specific type of hand-held pruner designed for smaller, more precise cuts. However, it's common for people to use the terms pruners and secateurs interchangeably when discussing this particular tool.    Functionality and Usage  Although the terminology may vary, the purpose and use of pruners and secateurs are quite similar. Both tools are essential for trimming and shaping plants, promoting healthy growth, and eliminating any dead or damaged portions.    There are a wide range of tools available for pruning, each serving a specific purpose. For instance:
Hand pruners/secateurs are perfect for those who have a passion for gardening and enjoy tending to their plants with care. They are specifically designed for delicate cutting tasks such as trimming shrubs or cutting flowers.
Loppers are a fantastic tool for cutting thicker branches that are too large for hand pruners. They are perfect for those who have a passion for gardening and want to tackle those bigger pruning tasks with ease.
Hedge shears are an essential tool for maintaining the perfect shape and appearance of your hedges and bushes.
Secateurs are a specialised tool designed for precise pruning. They are compact and ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in your hand, typically measuring between 6 to 9 inches in length. These tools are perfect for pruning small branches (up to ¾ inch in diameter), removing dead flowers, and delicately trimming plants. These tools offer accuracy and are typically crafted for more intimate gardening projects in a garden or backyard setting.
Pruners and secateurs come in a variety of types.
There are various types of pruners and secateurs available, each with its own cutting mechanism. Here are some examples:    Pruners/Secateurs: These function similar to scissors, utilising two curved blades that glide past each other to create a precise and neat cut. These tools are perfect for trimming fresh, vibrant plant material like stems, flowers, and branches.    Anvil Pruners/Secateurs: These feature a single cutting blade that closes onto a flat surface (anvil), mimicking the action of a knife against a chopping board. These tools are perfect for trimming lifeless, parched, or sturdy branches.    Pruning Tools: These handy tools provide a cutting action in stages, making it a breeze to trim through thicker branches without putting too much strain on your hand. They can be quite beneficial for individuals who have limited hand strength or suffer from arthritis.    Main Distinctions
There is a notable distinction between pruners and secateurs when it comes to their terminology. In the world of gardening, there are slight variations in the terminology used for certain tools. For example, the term "secateurs" is commonly used in the UK, Australia, and other Commonwealth countries, while in the U.S., "pruners" is the more frequently used term. When it comes to gardening, secateurs are essential tools. They are handheld pruners that every gardening enthusiast should have. However, it's worth noting that the term "pruner" can also encompass larger tools.    Pruners are a must-have for any gardening enthusiast. They come in different types, each designed for specific pruning tasks. From small cuts to heavy-duty work, there are hand pruners, loppers, and hedge shears to choose from. Secateurs, however, are specifically designed for hand-held pruning tasks that require a more delicate touch.    When it comes to cutting branches and stems, secateurs (hand pruners) are typically designed to handle materials that are around ¾ of an inch in diameter. If you're dealing with larger branches or thicker material, you'll need to use different pruners like loppers. These are not usually called secateurs. CutAbove Tools offers the best long handled secateurs.    Basically, the distinction between pruners and secateurs primarily boils down to the way they are referred to and used in different regions. When it comes to tools for cutting and trimming plants, there are pruners and secateurs. Pruners cover a wider range of cutting tools, while secateurs are specifically designed for more precise and smaller-scale cutting tasks. Through a thorough understanding of these differences, gardeners can carefully choose the right tool to meet their unique requirements, resulting in vibrant and impeccably cared-for plants.

Old Rock Day
Old Rock Day, despite some misconception, is not a day of celebrating classic Rock ‘n’ Roll tunes of days gone by but is, in fact, the day that Geologists and amateur rock enthusiasts take it upon themselves to show their appreciation of all things fossilised and stony.
Learn about Old Rock Day
All the lessons are in nature. You look at the way rocks are formed – the wind and the water hitting them, shaping them, making them what they are. Things take time, you know?
A rock is a solid mass that is made up of minerals or substances that are mineral-like. They form the Earth’s most outer layer. Rocks have also been (and continue to be) used for a number of different purposes. This includes everything from weapons to musical instruments and tools; their use is very varied. Of course, if you were to go outside now, you would probably see some rocks on the ground, right? They are everything, and something so significant deserves to be recognized and appreciated, which is what Old Rock Day is all about.
Natural processes help to ensure that rocks are continually kept on Earth, and by this, we mean processes like erosion and volcanic eruptions. Despite this, old rocks are essential when it comes to understanding the history of our planet and learning more about the Earth in general. Old rocks hold the answers to a lot of mysteries regarding the formation of Earth. They are able to tell scientists the story of what happened to cause the rocks to form, as well as revealing the effects these natural events have had on other forms of life within that area. It is crazy to think that something so small could hold such incredible information!
You can also find that fossils are held within old rocks at times. These are the preserved remains of plants, animals, and other organisms. These fossils can enable scientists to discover the sort of fauna and flora that existed in the past. They can then delve deeper, finding out what caused them to either go extinct or evolved. This is another way that rocks help us to understand the world that we live in.
In order to determine how old a rock is, geologists will use a technique that is known as radioactive dating or radiometric dating. This is a process that involves taking a look at radioactive elements and how they have decayed within the rocks. This enables scientists to find the oldest rock of terrestrial origin. Scientists believe that this rock could be 4.4 billion years old. It was found in Australia’s Jack Hills and it is a zircon rock.
History of Old Rock Day
The exact origins of this day are unclear and unconfirmed but there has been a suggestion that this day was first created by the cartoon family known as The Flintstones. Nobody from The Flintstones however was available for comment.
This is also the day when young children are often encouraged to go out and discover their first “pet rock.” It is a day that they can use to bond with their “pet” and cement the very beginning of their lengthy future relationship. Unlike with other pets, “pet rocks” never ever grow old or die.
Other festivities on this day include painting and decorating the “faces” of rocks and of gathering together attractive pebbles and stones to make inexpensive and original pieces of jewellery.
It is also the day that the pastime of building a “rock garden” is actively encouraged. Some towns and villages around the world hold competitions on this day to find the best decorated “rock garden”.
How to celebrate Old Rock Day
There are many different ways that you can celebrate Old Rock Day. one of the best things to do is learn more about the different kinds of old rocks. This is something that you can do by researching online or heading to your local library and looking into the different books there. Alternatively, you could visit your local natural history museum. You will be able to see some different significant rocks and fossils, learning more about them. You may not think that this is the sort of thing you would be interested in, but give it a try, especially on Old Rock Day. You may surprise yourself!
There are plenty of other things that you can do on Old Rock Day. Why not treat yourself to an old rock? You know, like a diamond! We won’t tell if you don’t! After all, any day of celebration is the perfect excuse to treat ourselves, right?
You could also enjoy a nice walk in your local area. Why not head to your local park and take a look at the rocks there? You could even collect some of the more interestingly shaped rocks. A lot of people actually collect rocks as a hobby, so this may even turn out to be something that you do on a more regular basis.
Another way that you could celebrate Old Rock Day is by enjoying some rock art. If you take a look online, you may be surprised to see the sheer number of different arts and crafts that are based on rocks. You can paint your own rocks in different colours, as well as using them as part of a bigger craft project. There are paint your own stone kits available to make it easier, providing you with the stones and the correct paints. Of course, you can go rogue and do your own project. You don’t need to buy a kit. No matter your choice, make sure you share your creation on social media.
