That AI wants to do melty nightmare fractal vomit so fucking bad and you are shackling it to a post and force-feeding it the labor of hard-working artists when you could literally pay someone to draw you artisanal hand-crafted girls with big boobs to your exact specifications and let your weird algorithms make art that can be reasonably used to represent horrors beyond human comprehension
Complete with a beautiful stable, a pool with a view onto the ocean and a lovely garden, this Estate is one of the most coveted properties in Brindleton Bay. Now owned by the Darnell Family, it is sure to make the most wonderful home.
I needed a background for a commission - so I decided to try one of @JamesJulier's tutorials with my new iPad. I find them meditative and I enjoyed working on this a lot.
So it's not completely my own idea and more the result of a "lesson".
Done in Procreate and some finishing touches in SAI 2.
I got inspired by Steven Eriksons Malazan - Book of the Fallen. This painting is inspired by several scenes at the end of Dust Of Dreams and the beginning of The Crippled God and does not take place like this in the books.

This scene combines Tool after slaughtering the Barghast children with the Azath sealing the rift the K’Chain Nah’ruk were coming through. The violet glint is supposed to hint at the Errants eye at the center of the Azath. I took quite a few freedoms here, but I was just so inspired by these books.
A fun thing to discover after coming home from work is that the landscaping guys threw away all of my milkweed stalks and not in the green waste bin that I could theoretically fish them out of. So. I guess I am back to square one on that
