Drawtumn 23.9 - "Scary"; Garthim

No joke, as a kid, when the Garthim first awaken, I would have to duck behind a chair every time. It was that shot of them scuttling down the hallway toward the camera - maybe I was really immersed with the movie, but I was scared to death they'd walk right out of the screen to get me. But much to my relief, another comes in from the side and leads them away.

I dunno, I always found THE DARK CRYSTAL fascinating BECAUSE it scared me so. And nowadays, it's one of my all-time favorite movies. (And lord knows the series desperately needed another season...)

Time Ram - Terror of the Crablikes!

The Doctor and Romana arrive in a colony overrun with crabs insects Garthim alien insect things that Shawcraft worked very very hard on. (Nobody in the colony believes in the Macra!) The only person they can seem to rely on is a young rebel called Adric, who claims to have seen these beasts. (Nobody in the colony believes in the Adric!) But when Adric encounters the Rotating Brainhell, he suddenly recants and betrays the TARDIS travelers. How can the Doctor stop the Macra when K9's had his head snapped off and Romana's been taken up the Old Shaft? (Nobody in the colony believes in the Carry On films!) What do the hardworking people of this colony believe in? Work ethic, Legs & Co., and the terrible Math Claws of Bidmead, swooping down from his Maths Perch on high!

Incidentally, thanks for the shoutout on the most recent episode, chaps! Much appreciated, it absolutely made my day.

Dark Crystal too made the right thing as Star Wars did It because It a too a Fortunatly franchise that It alternate Movies, TV Series, books and comics. The movie too didn't understand the reason and then the TV Series can understand because there are the screenplay that once It was called teleplay.

Dark Crystal Is Star Wars's younger Brother and because the stories are similar because the Gelfling are the Jedi, the SkekSis are the Sith, the Urru are the Grey Jedi, the Fizzgig are Droid Astrometric and protocol and Aughra Is Female Yoda

SkekUng, about skekSil: He likes to play catch. I asked him "can you catch these hands?". SkekUng: He said yes so I fucking hit him. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM-?!

So ok. First I need to clarify that I had a lot of struggle to choose which Skeksis would work with what prompt (especially since SkekSyn is a clone of Skekso after he died, so there would be only 9 Skeksis left) So I just shoved the death of Skekso further back in the past. At least I have the opportunity to let him interact with other Skeksis that are dead in the movie.

Since the Monarch has the birthright to be the leader, SkekUng wasn't really happy with that. There might be an opportunity to work together, once SkekZok gives the approval of that. But no matter what. The Monarch is always above the others, even tho he is still a tiny childling.
