oh these are really cool! some of these are a little more nonsense than others - i have no fucking idea what that effect on the red king's hand is thanks ai - but i REALLY love how red winter turned out personally and the art ended up cool on everyone
how do you make such nice lineart!!!! Its so,,,,, shapey and like. . Nice to look at!!!
thank you >w> actually line art is one thing i'm the proudest off in my drawings and i quite like to brag off about it cause... it's the closest to painting i get in most of my work haha
I just sketch a bit and then carve out and clean every line, i have a small timelapse of what i'm curently drawing to show it ^^
He looks up to the sky. At the stars that are unrecognizable. At the moon that sits in the sky. Tears are flowing freely now. Would it be worth it? To lose the memories of all of this? His fingers wrap around Scar’s cold hand. His eyes go down to the peacefully resting face of his partner. For Scar? Anything.
My dear mutual and buddy, Magenta "Maggie" gayboybdubs, could you please explain to me what this "art fight" you have been posting about is? I am very intrigued.
OKAY so artfight is a website that hosts a yearly event in which you have a team of Characters tied to your account that you can alter, add and remove at any time. You then choose a team that is made. You then, during july you choose between one of two teams. Then you draw art of other peoples characters as an attack. It can be friendly fire, which is an attack on someone who is on your team, you get 20% of what points youd get if the attack was on an opposing team. There are also revenge attacks where you draw art of someone else character because they drew of your characters which gives you extra points. By the end of the month, the team with the most points wins! But everyone who drew art will at some point have art of their characters, so everyone wins!
Ok! Random snippet as requested by @thebeginningpam and @gayboybdubs
This one is from my hc/dsmp WIP and contains verrrryy mild spoilers. I like it a lot though. A lot will likely change between this and the final version!
“I want to go home.”
“Why?” Grian asks. “Why do you want to go back to a place where people will hurt you? Where there will be no one to help you if you fall?”
“I can’t just leave my friends there alone. I can’t just leave them alone to deal with it themselves! How would they cope without me?” Tommy says, trying to sound arrogant.
“You don’t need to be a hero, Tommy.” Scar says. His tone is serious and quiet.
It should feel like an attack. Like something Technoblade would say to mock him. It doesn’t. Instead it hits like an arrow strike, burrowing into his skin and staying there. The tip digging into his heart.
“I don’t think I can leave Tubbo alone. Not again. He’s my friend, and he’s all alone out there. Well. He has Ranboo, but that’s not saying much.” Tommy says with a soft laugh at the end. He says it quietly, privately to the men who had shown him nothing but sincere kindness since he landed in the ocean. He tries to add a touch of humor, he really does. It doesn’t seem to hit right though.
Something in Grian’s face softens. Like he’s remembering something. Or someone. His hand reaches for a turtle pendant that hangs around his neck. It falls after a moment, as if cautious and uncertain. Tommy’s eyes flick down. Grian gently puts it under his shirt.
“Alright.” Grain says.
“You’re just going to let him go?” Scar seems flabbergasted.
“Tommy’s nearly an adult. He’s a skilled fighter, and he’s made it this far.” Grian reassures.
“But we can’t help him from here.” Scar says.
“He can handle himself Scar.” Grian says, sounding almost exasperated.
“How do you know that?” The way Scar says it doesn’t come off condescending. More so concerned.
“I did. All those years ago on that server with Taurtis. We were young too. We got through it.” Grian says.
“You mean Yand-“ Scar starts. He stops with a tight lipped smile as Grian sends him a look.
That seems to end the debate. The two look at each other for a moment. Scar with a soft, joking smile and Grian with a glare. Tommy can see his lips twitch as if he is holding back a smile. As if the secret they are keeping is something almost funny but not quite. Tommy wonders what Grian had seen. Was it an anarchy server possibly? He can’t think of what else he could be thinking of. To be fair though, he really hadn’t seen too many servers.
“Okay. But let’s give him our com numbers. Just in case.” Scar says with a sigh, breaking eye contact.
Grian nods. His wings fluttering is the only tell that he is satisfied with winning the little argument. He takes out a slip of paper from his leather bound journal and quickly jotted down the codes. With a smile he hands it to tommy.
Something swells in Tommy. Love? Friendship? Scar and Grian are his friends. And they care about his well-being. They want to stay in contact despite the mild hassle he’s been. Despite his outbursts and frankly awful building despite the best efforts of Boatem.
“Thank you.” Tommy says, his voice a near whisper.
“You’re our friend Tommy, of course.” Scar smiles at Tommy, and the crows feet wrinkles in the corners of his eyes grow as he does.
Tommy smiles back, hoping that someday he will smile enough to have wrinkles like Scar. That he’ll grow old enough that his face will reflect the joy he has felt throughout his life, and not sorrow. He wonders if one day he will look in the mirror and like what he sees because what he sees is a face molded by love.
