General thoughts about ships ::

- Oh👀? Sureee I'm alright with ships about my characters as long as it's tagged with #off canon and avoid inappropriate stuffs (e.g. proships, toxicity, etc. etc.), and also have proper credits to the owners of the characters.

this is just a thought I always have whenever I read fics or books about young adults but, when it comes to the more... Sluttier characters, just what kind of atmosphere did these authors grow up with?

Like, I don't know if its just my experience or something in general but you have these 15 year olds with the bed count of a 30 year old. Like multiple partners, casual sex whatever.

At 15 teenagers are interested sure but there is a LOT of insecurity going on there. They don't like themselves nevermind other people. I think the most I ever saw my friends go out with were like 2 people in a year because teenagers are cringe and don't know how to flirt and they laugh at anything sex related and find almost everything disgusting.

They're messy and when they do find someone they like they cling onto that person for as long as possible. Like, multiple breakups over absolutely nothing.

At the most, I would say a slutty 15 year old would probably have slept with 3 girls, and only because those girls hadn't unionised against him before that 3rd girl. After that? He would have been slaughtered through the halls. Name written on the toilet doors. Talked about to other girls, written notes of warnings etc.

Also, this is probably because I grew up in a very slut shaming time so girls did not want to have multiple partners or seen as loose. Im not sure the atmosphere now but if you're writing teenagers just keep in mind their world is small and life experience smaller - generally. There are exceptions.

But yeah, just something that I keep thinking of whoever I come across this trope on fics. Like college age? Fine. Sixth form, college and uni are prime slut years. But below that no chance.

moving is so weird. because for the couple of weeks beforehand you have to gradually unspool your entire life in one place, all while simultaneously beginning to stitch it together again in another place. Like, I am actively destroying the part of me and my life that lives in Seattle at the same time that I'm now beginning to build the part of me and my life that lives in Phoenix. It's such a weird place to exist in, emotionally, that in between state, if you think about it. (Especially if more than one person is involved in the move, even)

Teen Karl!Robert’s ladies…

These are some general comments and not very in-depth.

Ollie… a friend for a long time with zero romance of any kind. They just drifted apart as the character was slowly being written out. Shame since a true friendship would have been nice for Robert.

Lucy… Robert’s first girlfriend where he never got further than snogging. When it was time to write out Lucy and her family, Robert got the short end of the stick as he wanted to sleep with her and she really didn’t. They went with humiliating him in the end.

Nicola… while she ‘popped Robert’s cherry’, it wasn’t long before SHE wanted rid of him as he was getting more enamored in her. Nicola wound up using Syd to have Robert see them together. This made Robert mistrustful of women in general.

Elaine… she was decent with some dry wit but once again she and her family were being written out (if they ever need a legitimate long-lost child, perfect candidate here as they were sleeping together before she left) so where to go from there? Get him involved with someone who was out of his reach.

Katie… this pairing came out of nowhere (at least to me) when both started to have growing feelings for each other even though involved with others (namely Andy and Elaine). Robert himself didn’t want to hurt his brother (they made peace with each other) but the pull was too strong and so the affair and eventual official hookup (this was NOT like when Robert wanted revenge against Andy when he returned with a new head on his shoulders, they fell in love against their own better judgment). Katie needed to be written out and enter him sleeping with Sadie again (after having ended things with her months ago) to accommodate that departure.

Sadie… Forbidden fruit with no strings attached (Katie was not enough apparently as Chrissie was later, my own interpretation, so enter Sadie). But the writing seemed mixed here. Robert didn’t want to hurt Katie as he was happy with her yet… almost right away, he was back to sleeping with Sadie. Needed more insight on this turn as he willingly helped her with King information via an unsuspecting Katie.

Donna… simply should have remained as friends without the sexual benefits as with Ollie. They had a longstanding friendship since they were kids that was destroyed by hooking them up unnessarily. The way they were presented on screen, they never came off as boyfriend/girlfriend other than in Donna’s mind that first go round.

Victoria… they had their moments which were not as often as they should have been and you could see that Robert loved his sister yet the producer went to the extreme when he and Katie started their affair and wanted to make sure she didn’t say anything. It’s unfortunate that his exit led to a nine year separation between the two. Robert, in the end, became collateral damage (for his own exit) for having protected his sister (as Jack and Andy most certainly would have done if they were around).

And we still have some time remaining before Karl!Robert’s exit for him to go after Debbie.

GENERAL THOUGHTS ABOUT THE PIZZA TOWER COLLECTOR'S EDITION

First off - OH MY GOD THE ART HERE LOOKS SO COOL!!! It's so nice to get some new McPig art after a while, I've seen people say that it looks off-model but honestly i love it! It's just really fucking cool. I've seen some people criticise how it "spoils" Fake Peppino but honestly I feel like if you're buying a collector's edition of the game you probably already know about him, and I like how subtly Pizzahead was added to the cover, it's done in a way where it doesn't look exactly like him at first glance. Also, I wonder if the back and other side of the box will have different art, would be cool in my opinion

Legit thoughts: This is really cool, it'll be nice to get some of the concept art physically (Along with maybe some unseen stuff maybe? 👀) and the McPig comments will probably add a lot of context.

(Also, I noticed this sketch specificaly is the same as one of the sketches seen in the leaks, so that gives us some verified confirmation of them being real!)

This is just nice to have, if i end up getting this I may hang some of these on my wall, or just keep them since they're nice to have.

Definetely the silliest item seen from the collector's edition, i find it odd how this was the first item to be shown (And how for a while it was the only thing we knew we were getting, aside from the game)

The game itself! Quite simple really, I do wonder what the reversible coverart will look like tho, I think it'll be either the box art but scaled down or...

THIS unused coverart that was originally meant for steam, just finalized. I think this could probably be it since it'd be nice to give this concept a purpose and it could roughly fit the size of a Switch case.

Also, I wonder if the game card will have just a sized down version of the coverart or maybe a small bit of custom art, who knows? It might have the logo on top of a background from the game

Once again, not much to say here, really cool poster, shoutouts to the artist!

This is probably the worst part of the bundle, the stickers are all shittily traced from in-game sprites, it's fine since all the other stuff is great but I do find it odd that Fangamer keeps hiring people that just trace official art.

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Overall, the bundle looks AMAZING (Except for the stickers...) and I may even decide to buy it even tho I don't have a Switch, since I can just gift the game to a friend that does have one, and keep all the other stuff to myself >:)

It's so hard to find the type of essay videos I want to watch lol, I manage to find them sometimes and adore it when I do, but for the most part sometimes I'm tempted to make my own just to be able to watch what I want. Like, there are so many negative Danganronpa videos I'm so uninterested in and it's so hard to find any positive ones, maybe it just boils down to the fact that I don't really like negativity. Criticism is valid, but I like it when it's done in a kinder way if that makes sense?
