After seeing that chinchilla Desmond ask, it reminded me of my first impression upon encountering the ferox in Ark survival evolved, Genesis part 1. I know it has a cat/fox like face and kind of red panda tail and monkey-ish body but, my first experience with it was in game, as I hadn’t watched the trailer. And I thought it was a mutated chinchilla…

Saying that! A Ferox! Desmond au would be amazing. He’s small and cute, doing cute little hops to beg for treats, and then he’s a 7 foot tall wolf-gorilla thing capable of tearing your head off your body…

I just have a picture of guards angrily breaking into an ancestor’s house (like the Auditore villa at the start of AC2) and finding this cute…thing just sitting on the other side of the door, wagging it’s tail, and then they watch in horror as it suddenly grows, up and up, and up.

And then there’s nothing but screams…

For those unfamiliar with what a Ferox look like, here you go:

Desmond would probably spend quite a lot of time trying to get used to his new body, especially his newly acquired four arms so he’d be a bit of a klutz too. And he’d be super surprised when he first transforms into his other form but also ‘hell yeah!’.

Desmond would just be a fluffy sweet bunny? Fox? Cat? No one knows (and Leonardo is trying to understand what he is) but that doesn’t really matter since Desmond is more or less docile and just likes to eat and cuddle. Not being liked by him would make a person a social pariah XD

So we have an idea of how Desmond could screw up AC2 (also, he can totally protect Monteriggioni by going on a rampage on the papacy army, although this might start a rumor of Monteriggioni having a demon as an attack dog) and Desmond could easily thwart Charles Lee’s plan to burn down Ratonhnhaké:ton’s village by going ham on them either while staying with Kaniehtí:io that day or by transforming and ‘taking care’ of the soldiers before Charles Lee could even hurt Ratonhnhaké:ton.

Now, the most common setup would be for Desmond to be Altaïr’s pet but may I suggest an alternative: Desmond as baby Sef’s pet? Sef found him while he and Darim are playing (maybe they were even able to sneak out of Masyaf) and he brought him back because Desmond doesn’t recognize Sef but he looks a lot like Altaïr so he just makes soft purring sounds as he put all his arms in the air in the universal gesture of ‘pick me up’ and Sef does. 

His transformation is kept a secret and Altaïr thinks Desmond might have mutated with the use of a POE. He’s still more or less Sef’s pet even though Desmond likes to follow Altaïr around when Sef isn’t in Masyaf. 

So when Swami tried to assassinate Sef in his sleep, Desmond is curled on top of Sef’s chest and he jumped down, staring at Swami. 

Swami’s eyes widened as Desmond transformed right in front of him and he let out a scream that gets drowned by Desmond’s roar.

Sef immediately wakes up to see Desmond pinning Swami against the floor and Sef knew that something fishy is certainly going on. Even though Swami is babbling that it was his father who ordered for his death, Sef doesn’t believe him.

First of all: His father wouldn’t order for this death. Of all the things Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad might and might not be, his love for his family will never be questioned.

Second of all: Even if Altaïr wanted him dead, he wouldn’t pick someone like Swami to kill him, that’s insulting. (At this point, both Swami and Desmond just stare at Sef because, yeah, he might be nicer and sweeter than his father but the Ibn-La'Ahad arrogance seems to be hereditary).

“Third of all…” Sef looked at Desmond and grinned, “Shall we get some exercise, Desmond?”

Desmond roared his agreement and…

That day, the conspiracy against Altaïr’s family and allies was thwarted by a large monster. Many of Abbas’ supposed allies squealed like pigs and admitted everything while being pinned down by said monster.

Malik drowned in paperwork that day.

Broken: With Art Asks coming up, I thought it would be fitting to show the AUs I have for Twisted Wonderland so you all can see what I have cooking in my brain!

Zoro AU

The Zoro siblings, Sabor, Malik, and Sienna, are unexpectedly transported to Night Raven College during the First-Year Ceremony. Sabor and Malik, twin brothers, are assigned to opposing dorms, Diasomnia and Savanaclaw. Meanwhile, Sienna, the only female of the trio, takes charge of Ramshackle for herself and forms an alliance with the mysterious creature, Grim. Follow the Zoro siblings' journey as they navigate their time at Night Raven College.

Outcasts AU

Four unfortunate individuals come together in the run-down dorm, finding comfort in each other and the family they've longed for, while a fifth person discovers purpose in the Sorcerer's Dorm.

Descendants AU

The First-Year Ceremony of Night Raven College is interrupted by the arrival of seven individuals who emerge from sealed coffins. Everyone is shocked when the Dark Mirror proclaims that the 'Will of the Seven cannot be commanded by another.' These seven strangers are the direct descendants of the Great Seven themselves and they choose Ramshackle as their abode. This school just became a lot more interesting.

Spawn of the Wardens AU

The Children of the Overblot Boys arrive in the canon timeline, where none of them exist, and their fathers are still in school. It's later revealed that all of the children share the same mother. Just who is she? None other than Yuukari Roxas, the Ramshackle Prefect and Beast Tamer of Night Raven College.

Lovers AU

7 women arrive at Night Raven College and choose Ramshackle as their dormitory. These women would become the partners of the Overblots, providing them with the happiness they have longed for.

Platonic-Yandere AU

Family ties can be hard to break, even if you want to. Just because you want to cut someone off doesn't mean they'll let you. Follow my original characters as they try to protect their way of life by avoiding the overly intense platonic love of their blood relatives.

Overseer AU

Genesis and Teagan are students at Night Raven College, but that's just what they want people to think. In reality, they are the creators of Wonderland, the races, magic, and everything in between. When the twins try to live normal lives as college students, their plans are derailed when they encounter the 22 individuals they came in contact with in their past lives. These individuals refuse to allow them to escape again.

It’s some of the best written work I’ve ever read in my entire life. I teared up reading this. Idk, like I know it can turn people off, but it’s the best one out there truly, and I was changed after reading it. (You can read this one blind, I think it tells you all you need to know about the plot of the game that you’d need to know, so. some of the most amazing prose I’ve ever read, some of the most gut wrenching lines, just. Fuck dude, this fic is so so good.]

There are of course exceptions to this rule. Sephiroth, Guy and Malik have wormed their ways into her heart along with Genesis, Estinien, Diavolo and Satan. But if you notice, most of her ships have dark hair and striking eyes xD Gaius, Aymeric, Lucifer and Gladio being the ones from the top of my head.

I work for a box company as a drug tech.

So, take your meds, with water, and if you take depression meds please please please hydrate and wear sunscreen. And you cane take NSAID's (Advil, Aleve) with those meds, but please eat a snack with it! That will help it 100%

What happens to the audience when music bands split up?

This week I want to talk about music bands because today a lot of music are sung by bands and by singers who have left their bands to begin their individual careers. And the interesting thing to study is the impact on the audience when a music band splits up.

Firstly, according to ReverbNation Blog, there are three main reasons why band members decide to stop producing music together. Money is the primary factor as everything in the music industry is costly. Band break-ups often happen because of arguments involving money, which can sometimes be considered a poison. Music industry is based on contracts between musicians and producers or companies and the sole purpose of the link between the two is to reach a large audience, or in other words, to earn money. The second reason is the compatibility or rather the lack of compatibility between the members of the band. As time goes on, views are changing and the goals of each are replaced by others. Creative differences can deteriorate relationships. Their perspectives may not be the same after several years of working together. And the last reason can be found in jealousy and quarrels. For example, when a music band goes on tour, living together for months can be difficult and unpleasant and, in some situations, communication turns into disrespect. Hence, the music groups break up. But what happens to their audience? How do fans experience it?

Some bands stop making music altogether, but others start solo careers. It’s notably the case for the One Direction who started their pop boy band in 2010. The group signed with Simon Cowell's record label Syco Records after competing in The X Factor the same year. The group was composed of Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, the one who decided to leave the music band in 2015, much to the dismay of the band's thousands of fans. But all the other members of the group decided to split up and go their separate ways and start solo careers. One Direction's fans were considered one of the largest fandoms on the internet and when they heard about the break-up of the group, they were devastated. A part of their audience was angry and didn’t believe in the split. Their responses were pretty unconventional but predictable. The singers therefore began their individual careers shortly afterwards. 1D fans turned out into new fans as they now support one singer or several but not all while some support each singer individually. But their audience has changed and their break-up had a large impact on the audience - some members have now a greater popularity as solo singers.

One Direction was one example but there are numerous famous music bands that split up years ago.

The music band ABBA separated in 1982 but two members continued to produce music together whereas the two other members left the group to begin solo careers. The singer Anni-Frid Lyngstad (Frida) made a solo album, which had a great success with her lead single “I Know There's Something Going On”. Her fans came mainly from the group ABBA but there were also new fans as Frida wanted to distance herself from the typical ABBA pop sound.

One Week MSME Sponsored E-MDP Training Program on Business Leadership Skill

Development Among Students for AtmaNirbhar Bharat being organized by School of Agricultural Economics and Horti-Business Management, SKUAST-K, Shalimar in collaboration with Srinagar Women’s College, Batapora, Zakura was inaugurated by Prof. Tehmina Yousuf, Principal, SWC, Zakura and Prof. S. H. Baba, Head, SAE & HBM, SKUAST-K on 16-02-2023. The program is part of the series of training programs being organized by the SKUAST-K and sponsored by the Ministry of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises.

The training program intends to build leadership capabilities among the students and potential entrepreneurs. During six days participants will be trained for building and strengthening leadership competencies and channelizing efforts to become future leaders of tomorrow and accustomed to high productivity, performance, adaptability, and flexibility.

Speaking in the inaugural session, Dr. Abid Sultan, Training Coordinator, briefed participants and dignitaries about the genesis and purpose of the program. He emphasized leveraging upon the available demographic dividend and resource base for agri-business opportunities through leadership-based interventions. He also highlighted institutional role and responsibility for nurturing, strengthening, and sharpening student's mind-set, skill-set, and levels of sensitivity about leadership dynamics.

Prof. S.H. Baba, Head, School of Agricultural Economics and Horti-Business Management, SKUAST-K, briefed students about the significance of leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship in contemporary business and society. He provided provoking insights to the students and aspiring entrepreneurs for being responsive to business opportunities, especially in the agricultural and allied sectors. He also accentuated SKUAST-K initiatives for creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem in UTofJ&K

Prof. Tehmina Yousuf, Chief Guest of the occasion in her speech enjoined the participants to have a learning acumen and build their skill levels. She impressed upon the participants to be actively involved in developing entrepreneurial ventures and startups. She expressed her gratitude to the SKUAST-K and organizing team for the collaborative workshop of contemporary significance.

Fascist imagery and thudding allusions to World War II-era propaganda films permeate Paul Verhoeven's Starship Troopers, but because the provocative Dutch filmmaker didn't explicitly spell out his satire, it went over the heads of many upon its release.
