Really quick sketches of the Shuffle Alliance nerds as I try to get used to drawing them

Re-uploading the screenshots of dialogue between Domon, Rain, George, and Argo from from Stage 34 of Super Robot Taisen J which is a Beach Episode. That way, there is alt-text now and all the dialogue is together (it had been split into 3 parts before).

Domon getting flustered at seeing Rain in a swimsuit always cracks me up. XD

I very certainly was not expecting brand new G Gundam high grades just because of that RG God Gundam release, but I am totally on board, the shuffle alliance deserve some actually good kits.

As is not in any way whatsoever surprising at this point; its a damn good kit! They did a great job on the color separation with very few color correcting stickers, despite this era of gundam design being much more colorful. Like all those colors on the chest? Color separated, no stickers. And the cape, the cape is fantastic! Its always nice to see that sort of parts separating where the underside of a flap of armor has some kind of layer of "internal" part that makes the whole thing feel effectively thick and less like a plastic toy. And on top of that they used those to add points where the rose bits can attach by very good looking effect parts to recreate the bits being launched from the cape, just like in the show, good shit.

We're not gonna talk about G Gundam in any gunpla posts of the bots, but suffice to say, while the show has its problems, its way better then some people give it credit for, and is just plain ol' 90's bombastic anime fun with (mostly) awesome looking gundams. Learn to have fun again and all that.

Drawings of George Sand by Alfred de Musset, her lover from 1833-35. It’s interesting that in the letter below, he refers to her as ‘mon cher’ rather than ‘ma chère’! Time to do more research I think 🙄
