(GFL) Scarecrow, Architect, Gager, and Hunter's first kiss

So, I actually went completely overboard on Scarecrow's part originally before remembering what the prompt even was, so that's going to turn into a short fic now! Also I feel like Sangvis names will be far easier to remember for those struggling with the weapon names of the Griffin T-Dolls.

Scarecrow's mask was gently taken off by S/O, as she watched, her face unmoving the entire duration.

In her head, she knew how stupid this whole affair was.

A human falling in love with an android made no logical sense. And yet...she made no effort to resist.

Scarecrow's eyes did not close as they leaned into her face, gently pressing their lips against hers.

When they pulled away, S/O seemed worried that they had offended her given that she didn't even blink.

(Scarecrow) "I sense an increase in your heartrate, as well as your mouth creasing into a frown. You did not make me mad. I simply lack the facial systems to portray any emotion."

(S/O) "Ah...right. I honestly forgot about that."

(Scarecrow) "You forgot I was a T-Doll?"

(S/O) "...Y-Yes."

Scarecrow's eyes focused on S/O before turning away, her hand hesitating for a moment as it wrapped around their hand..

Was she...flustered?

(Scarecrow) "It is foolish of you to forget that fact so easily."

She didn't know how to feel being mistaken for a human, considering the fact she couldn't even emote.

Architect was practically bouncing up and down with energy as she snuggled up into S/O.

She was busy telling them about her very explosive day, before she felt S/O's weight lean into her head.

And she felt their lips on her forehead. That enough got her to stop her completely, and almost short circuit something in her digimind.

She turned towards S/O with a smile that was growing bigger than ever.

(Architect) "That...That felt really nice! How did you do it? Like this?"

Without warning, she almost slammed her head into S/O, crashing her lips with energy matching her enthusiasm, giving a cheeky smile.

(Architect) "That's called a...H-Hang on I got it...um..."

(S/O) "Hah, a 'kiss', Architect."

(Architect) "HEY! I said I had it!"

She began pouting as S/O laughed at her cute reaction.

Gager's thoughts completely halted upon feeling S/O's lips upon hers, her hand quickly reaching for her own lips.

(Gager) "I...T-That...Why did you...?"

S/O simply smiled in response, making her sigh.

Gager could handle the battlefield no problem as an elite T-Doll.

But this field of expertise was beyond her understanding.

Let alone trying to gather the reason a human was even infatuated with her in this way.

(Gager) "I cannot process why you feel the need to kiss a T-Doll..."

(S/O) "How about kissing someone I love?"

Gager's eyes widened at that, failing to produce any other sound other than more stutters.

Her shoulders slumped, instead just smiling in response, albeit bashfully.

(Gager) "I...promise in the future I will be more reciproactive to your affection.

Hunter is momentarily stunned when S/O suddenly leans into her lips and gives it a kiss.

She quickly backs off, before realizing it looked like she hated the feeling.

(Hunter) "A-Ah, sorry. Next time just warn me, I was just unprepared for it."

Hunter relaxes and smiles back at S/O, chuckling.

(Hunter) "Though, the hunter should prepared for its prey at any time, wouldn't you agree?"

Her bravado is quickly demolished the moment she feels S/O's hands on her rapidly warming cheek.

(Hunter) "A-Alright, now hold on! Now you're just getting greedy!"

...Wait, her frame could blush?

OPERATION: HUNTER HUNTED (GFL au with @shoujozensen)

“Man made machine to take greater advantage in this age’s warfare. But it seems that machine knows how to be more human than the humans that made them.”

An ultranationalist group turned rebels has begun a small uprising in the western parts of Russia. Their goal is to start a civil war in order to overthrow the Russia’s present government despite the recent events of WW3. Captain Price along with the rest of Bravo Team heads deep within enemy lines in order to get a defector and lead an assassination attempt on the ultranationalist group’s leader whose identity is yet to be known.

While Bravo Team was successful in extracting the defector away from ultranationalist-controlled areas their chopper was downed deep within Sangvis Ferri territory. In an attempt to escape Bravo Team was caught in a crossfire between the ultranationalists and Sangvis units within the area. Despite the losses for Bravo Team however a PMC group known as Griffin & Kryuger went to their rescue and moved them out of harm’s way.

Although the defector was obtained and now in safe hands the hunt for the ultranationalist group’s leader is still on as Captain Price along with his new found allies in G&K lead assassination order deep within enemy lines, dealing with the deadly waves of Sangvis Ferri and the Ultranationalist group themselves.

Toronto Tradespeople Find Treasures During Their Work Day

There is treasure all over Toronto. There is valuable stuff hidden underground, in cluttered attics and basements, in people’s cars and garages and in the strangest places anyone could imagine. Some Toronto tradespeople seem to have amazing luck at finding hidden loot and they buy, sell and amass big collections of cool stuff in their spare time. Many of the trades listed below get to keep what they find during their regular work day.

Basement Waterproofing and Underpinning Workers

Chris Cavan of City Wide Group basement waterproofing has been picking through dug relics while supervising digging crews excavating Toronto home foundations for over twelve years. “We always show the property owner what we find on the lot first,” Cavan explained as he unpacked the company’s bottle collection, “I just want to put that out there right now. What you see here is what wasn’t claimed.”

The act of waterproofing a house usually involves digging a deep trench all around the cement walls of the foundation. Depending on the area, the history and the culture of the neighbourhood, the soil right up beside the house can sometimes be pay dirt.

Cavan unpacked a dozen, century old glass bottles, some 1940s-era silk screened sodas and a lovely, big cobalt blue Milk of Magnesia bottle. His prize, however, is a palm-sized pumpkin seed flask with an applied top, probably made in the 1890s. He also found a lid for a tooth powder (a product available before toothpaste was produced), some ceramics and plenty of old coins and keys. “The best stuff comes up in the first six to nine inches, unless you hit a privy pit,” Cavan added, recalling his years digging trenches.

What Cavan calls ‘privies’ are century old latrine holes. According to him, it was common in certain parts of Toronto for homeowners to dig latrine pits right beside the house. When the sewer pipes came into these homes in the early 1900s, these old holes were filled in with rubbish, bottles and trash and capped off with furnace ash. Some of that century old garbage is quite collectible today. “I always tell the boys to slow down when they see white ash. That’s a tell-tale sign. We’ve found porcelain doll heads, little blue medicine bottles and horseshoes. Those are the things people collect.”

Backhoe Operators at downtown Toronto Excavation Companies

On downtown Toronto lots and especially lakeshore properties, the backhoe is a time machine. Every single workday from 7 a.m. until about three in the afternoon, the big rig claws its way down through centuries of topsoil. Still, many items are found and saved by the shovel man. This bottle would fetch a minimum of $30 on eBay.

Whatever valuables the excavators miss on their shift has a second and much better chance of being recovered at the contaminated soil remediation station. Cleaning toxic soil is a big business in Toronto and one of the biggest plants is Green Soils or GFL (Green for Life) on Commissioners Road. That’s where Stephen Brown works.

All those dump trucks filled with dirt from the downtown core are also filled with collectible bottles, silverware, stoneware, and even military relics. Brown says that when those trucks dump their loads, the dirt soon undergoes a variety of treatments and in the shuffling, all manner of objects are revealed. As part of their job description, Brown adds, “The workers are expected to walk about and pick the solid items off the screens and wire mesh filters where they accumulate.” Thus, one could say that workers in this trade are actually paid to pick up and collect historic objects.

Automotive Cleaning Staff

Automotive cleaning staff at Toronto area automotive detailing shops or mobile fleet cleaning services know that the job can pay great dividends.

Justin Habaybeh from Autoscrubs Ajax Pickering Auto Detailing has the dirtiest job on the team and one he wouldn’t trade for the world. As the owner of a busy travelling car cleaning company, he keeps the task of emptying the industrial vacuum bags all to himself. That’s because these heavy sacks are the repositories for everything that has been sucked up out of automobiles all day long and they weigh about ten pounds each when they’re full.

Justin knows his employees tend to dump each vacuum’s contents into their bin without any inspection, but his years in this trade have taught him that’s a big mistake. “If you can stand the sight and smell of the cleanings, those sacks are goodie bags filled with toonies, loonies, quarters and other small change. There are sometimes rings, guitar picks, and little trinkets of every description.”

Demolition Contractors

Old buildings are usually valuable treasures all by themselves. Practically every part of an old structure is salvageable. Demolition contractors sort debris into piles and separate out metals, especially copper pipe and conduit, antique porcelain bathroom fixtures, and whatever else they can liquidate into cash. Some workers search even harder to find what is hidden away inside walls and under the floorboards. Reselling antique bricks and historic wooden beams is a thriving industry in Toronto and all over Canada. In Toronto, there are two major outfits: Canadian Salvage Timber and Forever Interiors. These companies work with demolition contractors to buy and sell old bricks, timber, stone and more profitable items like old wooden doors, oak trim, and thick hardwood floorboards.

“There’s usually lots of old newsprint in the walls of century old buildings,” says Mandy (name changed to protect her identity). She explained how newspaper was regularly used as insulation in the walls of Toronto houses and how this is sometimes found surprisingly well preserved today. “I collect ephemera and have mostly paper ads and advertising,” she states proudly. Mandy explained that after performing dozens of demolitions in the Annex neighbourhood, she has accumulated a vast collection of Toronto newspaper advertising from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Mandy added that she intends to donate everything to the Toronto Archives when she retires.

Just working on site when debris is moved from decades-old resting spots can yield dividends for junk removal contractors, depending on how much they know about the materials. The client just wants it gone, but not everything has to be put in the back of the truck and a junk removal worker can pick out antique items or even valuable scraps like copper pipes, lead window caulking, and zinc- or nickel-plated steel components from early catalytic converters and car batteries. There is one Toronto worker we know that has amassed a rather large collection of Victorian-era brass doorknobs.

Toronto’s old homes and buildings offer a wealth of unexpected treasure and these Toronto tradespeople benefit every day through serendipitous discoveries during their regular work day. It definitely makes you think twice if you are currently living in an old home!

OMG Sangvis! Ok ok!

Scarecrow's eyes do not move, but her arms sure do.

She gently grabs S/O's arms and drags them closer to her, as her floating guns suddenly dash over to their side, aiming at whoever they're speaking to.

(Scarecrow) "What business do you have with S/O? They are on important business."

If it's a Griffin T-Doll they're speaking to, she just quietly walks over to their side, not saying anything, nor does she make any indication that she's getting protective.

Only that she's a lot closer to them normal.

(Scarecrow) "Am I not allowed to be close to you, S/O?"

(S/O) "N-No, that's not it but-"

(Scarecrow) "I detect a rise in heat on your cheeks. You are clearly embarrassed from me doing so."

S/O swears that her irises seem to shrink the slightest amount...Was she getting angry?!

Architect starts pouting as she latches onto S/O's arms very openly.

She doesn't possess any kind of animosity towards humanity or Griffin's T-Dolls.

BUT that does not mean she'll let just anyone speak to her S/O!

(Architect) "HEY! You're not flirting with them are you?! I'LL BLOW YOU UP, DON'T TEST ME!"

(S/O) "A-Architect!"

She pulls out a rocket launcher that quickly unfolds itself to the massive cannon, aiming at whoever it is.

Of course she won't actually fire. It's mostly to impress S/O in that she's ready to fight for them.

But depending on how angry she it is, she might actually use it.

And before she can, she is bonked over the head by the Commander for misconduct.

Gager tries to be as professional as she can, but her superiority complex over the Griffin T-Dolls still remains.

She'll cross her arms and glare at S/O until the other party backs off, or S/O notices.

Gager honestly has no idea what's getting into her, and it makes her sigh.

(Gager) "Sorry, I shouldn't be feeling this way...Actually, I shouldn't be feeling anything like this at all."

(S/O) "It's...kinda cute, honestly!"

Her eyes squint at S/O, and she starts unintentionally pouting.

(Gager) "Jealousy is not cute."

(S/O) "You're making it so!"

Hunter boldly walks over to S/O and stands close to them, not really giving a damn about the other person's reaction to her presence.

As long as they know S/O is hers, then the message should get across.

(Hunter) "Getting a bit handsy aren't you? Interesting behavior from prey."

(S/O) "P-Prey?! Hey, calm down, Hunter!"

Hunter has one arm snake around her S/O's waist, glaring at the other T-Doll speaking to them.

Doubly so if it's another Sangvis Doll.

(Hunter) "Hands off."

When S/O had taken off their shirt for a moment, Shenhe noticed that they had several scars across their body.

She couldn't help but stare. They hadn't brought it up before in any conversation.

(S/O) "...Shenhe?"

(Shenhe) "Where did those come from?"

(S/O) "Oh, my scars? I got into a bad fight a little bit before I met you."

Shenhe instinctively reached her hand to gently caress them, making S/O blush.

(S/O) "They don't hurt-"

(Shenhe) "...If I had met you sooner, would I have been able to prevent these?"

S/O smiled and squeezed her hand in reassurance.

(S/O) "You're here now, I think that's what matters."

Shenhe looked at S/O before nodding, letting her hand reluctantly pull away.

Sara was surprised to see S/O with several lasting wounds.

As far as she knew, S/O wasn't a combatant, and she couldn't help but suddenly call out for them.

(Sara) "What happened to your body?"

(S/O) "Hm, I never told you, did I? I got these from a run-in with a Ruin Hunter."

(Sara) "How long ago did-"

S/O laughed seeing Sara get so worried for them, attempting to calm her down.

(S/O) "A long time ago. Before the Vision Hunt Decree even began and ended, actually."

(Sara) "I-I see..."

She couldn't help but let her eyes wander, more worried if it hurt more than anything.

Before noticing S/O was smiling.

(S/O) "My eyes are up here, you know."

Suddenly, Sara became flustered for a very different reason, quickly averting her gaze as her cheeks flared up in heat.

(Sara) "M-My apologies...!"

(Hu Tao) "Holy crap, what happened to you?!"

S/O was startled from Hu Tao's sudden yelling, before realizing what she was talking about.

(S/O) "What ha-...Oh, well there was a nasty group of Geovishaps who just kept knocking me around."

(Hu Tao) "Geez, you never bothered to tell me?"

Hu Tao pouted, making S/O laugh.

(S/O) "Oh please, the moment I did you would try putting an ice cube down my back or something as a prank-"

(Hu Tao) "Just what are you implying, I'm not that cruel!"

(S/O) "No, but you'd think it'd probably be funny."

(Hu Tao) "A little, but still!"

Natasha had S/O alone in her room, performing an impromptu physical check.

When she had them remove their shirt, her eyes widened in shock.

(Natasha) "Dear, your body!-"

(S/O) "Yeah, I know. It was the result of a mining accident-"

(Natasha) "And you didn't come to me?!"

(S/O) "Well...It was a long time ago, and you were always so busy helping everyone else...-"

Natasha crossed her arms, a little angry at S/O.

(Natasha) "If it was this bad, you should have come straight away!"

(S/O) "Sorry..."

Natasha sighed and let her hand rest on their chest, feeling their heartbeat and being reassured that they'd be okay.

(Natasha) "If you ever get something like this, you get me immediately. Got it?"

(S/O) "Got it."

Natasha began to smile again, her hand idly tracing one of the scars.

M16 frowned when she saw the scars on S/O as they took off their shirt.

(M16A1) "What the...?-"

(S/O) "A-Ah...I was caught in a blast a long time ago before I began working for Griffin. Hurt like hell."

M16 hummed in acknowledgement, letting her fingers trace the scar.

(M16) "Heh, is it appropriate to say they kinda make you look hot?"

It was a bad joke to lighten the mood, which appeared to work as S/O couldn't help but laugh.

(S/O) "Well, if you're admitting it, then I can say the same to you."

M16 rolled her eye, before taking S/O into a tight embrace.

It would have been better if they hadn't got this hurt at all, but that was the way the world was.

If she can prevent any new ones from forming, that was good enough for M16.

Angelia wasn't all that shocked to see S/O's scars.

After all, she was covered in her own, with an arm missing to boot.

Before S/O stepped into the shower, she called out their name.

(Angelia) "How long have you had those?"

(S/O) "Had what?...Oh, these are nearly a decade old."

(Angelia) "I see."

S/O looked a bit insecure at the scars before Angelia took off her own shirt, at least just to make them feel comfortable.

They would have been more flustered, but the gentle expression on Angelia's face, added in by the fact she was at least wearing a sports bra underneath, let them remain calm.

(Angelia) "Don't exactly have the most pristine body myself. When have I ever judged about that kinda thing?"

(S/O) "Hah, right."

Angelia and S/O stared at each other for a brief moment, and once she saw their shoulders relax, she let her prosthetic hand touch their back.

(S/O) "G-GAH! COLD!"

Angelia let a small smirk form as her prosthetic poked them forward.

(Angelia) "Get in the shower before you catch one."

Also, the Commander won't be S/O since that'd be kinda hard to implement in this kind of scenario. Unless it was a harem, which I absolutely refuse. We have the serious ones, the catty ones, and the glue eaters for this team matchup.

Squad Counters entered the room, noticing the squad from Griffin looking far more serious than them.

M4A1 examined the newcomers and nodded.

(M4A1) "So, you're the T-Dolls joining us for this operation?"

(Anis) "The hell is a T-Doll? We're Nikkes."

(ST AR-15) "Hm. It doesn't really matter in the end. Just don't fall behind."

On the other hand, SOPMOD excitedly jumped in front of her two sisters-in-arms, extending her hands.

(M4 SOPMOD II) "New friends! Let's shake hands!~"

Rapi leaned back in slight surprise, unused to SOPMOD's straightforwardness.

Neon however extended her own hand and shook SOPMOD's excitedly.

(Neon) "Hi, I'm Neon! Do you like big guns?"

(M4 SOPMOD II) "What kind of question is that, of course I do!"

(Rapi) ahem. "Rapi, Leader of Squad Counters. This is Anis and Neon."

Anis simply shrugged while Neon waved a friendly hand towards the team.

M4A1 crossed her arms.

(M4A1) "M4A1, leader of the Anti-Rain Team. ST AR-15, and M4 SOPMOD II."

(Anis) "Wow, you guys just name yourselves after the guns? Talk about lifeless-"

STAR frowned at Anis.

(ST AR-15) "They're code names. And who are you calling lifeless?"

(Anis) "I don't know, you were just calling us Dolls a second ago-"

A loud throat clearing from the center of the room caught both team's attention, everyone directing their sights towards the two humans in the room.

(Griffin Commander) "We're being sent to take care of some Sangvis Dolls that are reportedly running around the area with some unidentified at their side. Which, I presume to be yours."

(Counters Commander) "Yeah, the fact that the Raptures haven't taken over your forces or anyone else's is a miracle, honestly..."

(Rapi) "Commander-"

Both of the humans turned to Rapi, before looking at each other in slight confusion.

(Griffin Commander) "Oh, right."

(Counters Commander) ahem "Yes, Rapi?"

Rapi seemed slightly flustered before that expression vanished.

(Rapi) "If we take care of the Raptures, is it possible for us to return home?"

(Counters Commander) "That's the hope, but I have no idea if anything we did was the cause of it...Kind of reminds me of those devil hunters-"

(Neon) "Yeah, we had some super cool people help us out too! One of them could turn into a chainsaw and-"

Both Neon and SOPMOD turned to the Commander expectantly.

(Counters Commander) "Is...that a good thing?"

(ST AR-15) "Our Commander has led several echelons to victory against improbable odds."

(Anis) "Our Commander is the improbable odds!"

M4A1 and Rapi looked at their commanders before glaring at each other silently.

(Griffin Commander) "I'm so glad M16 and RO aren't here today..."

New GFL Characters I can write for!

Alrighty this has been a long time coming, but we'll start with a small group first before I throw everything right at ya:

Finally introducing the T-Dolls of Sangvis Ferri!

I can now write Scarecrow, Architect, Gager, and Hunter from Girls Frontline!

TLDR:

Griffin eventually found a way to have formerly hostile T-Dolls work under them, and the Sangvis Dolls aren't mind controlled nor did they have any memories wiped, it's of their own volition.

There is quite a bit more members to add, but for right now, I feel that this will suffice for getting to know Sangvis!

Also I didn't realize it until I put it together, but man Sangvis doesn't like to clothe their T-Dolls do they?

Scarecrow:

A Sangvis specialized in gathering and analyzing intelligence.

She isn't the best in direct confrontations, which earns her little respect among Sangvis Dolls.

Rational, curt, and dutiful, she despises sentimentality and looks down on emotional Griffin Dolls who blindly follow their orders.

Architect:

A loner with high combat prowess that specializes in long-range attacks and fire support.

A cheerful and energetic airhead of a girl who's always in high spirits. She isn't particularly antagonistic towards Griffin and doesn't always go out of her way to follow orders from Sangvis Ferri.

However, her passion for bombardment and destruction still makes her a highly dangerous enemy.

Gager:

Mostly in charge of issuing commands and deploying units.

Relatively high in rank, she is in command of combat units, yet is quite adept at combat herself. Answers directly to Agent.

Serious, uptight, and meticulous, she always appears cool and businesslike both in speech and action.

She holds herself to a code of honor even against her enemies.

Hunter:

Highly flexible and intelligent, she is adept at sabotage and tactical pursuit, though her true power can only manifest when working with Scarecrow and Executioner.

Stoic and cool-headed, she enjoys cornering her enemies and capturing them alive.

Despite feeling superior to Griffin Dolls, she considers herself above using underhanded tactics against them.

I also have a personal GFL-verse where I adopted several S.F. girls and yes I’m not kidding I named Executioner, Hunter, and Scarecrow, “Zangetsu, Ocelot, and Mantis” respectively. They’re a special secret ops team I have with me in special circumstance missions. They’re all cute badasses.
