I have a couple more stories to add to my annual post of spooky fics. None of these have any MCD. Here's the complete list:

Where I Cannot Follow: Holmes and Watson try to solve the mystery of a ghost that haunts Watson's old school, while figuring out what their relationship is since Sherlock's return from the dead. (Set in 1930s) 55k words

No Such Person: Sherlock is haunted by the case of a missing man, an army doctor whose sister believes there is something sinister about his disappearance. 12k words

All Souls: The place next to me, where he used to sleep, was cold. But in the still darkness, I could hear him breathing. Steady, dependable, in and out. Watson disappears, and Holmes looks desperately for a clue. (Happy ending) 3k words

A Chamber to be Haunted: Sherlock Holmes, orphaned at an early age and brought up by uncaring relatives, is lonely until he meets a ghost, a boy long dead who still haunts his uncle's house. Gothic, inspired by Jane Eyre. 19k words

The Telltale Heart: The human heart is an amazing organ. Not a horror story, but a fable. Reichenbach return. 5k words

Familiar: The night after Sherlock plunges to his death, the cat shows up. Reichenbach return. 5k words

House of Grief: Holmes and Watson investigate a house whose owner claims is haunted. Gothic, Lovecraftian horror. 18k words.
