I genuinely want to know the reason for breaking Nisaac up. Obviously they weren’t perfect (far from it) but they’ve been pining over each other since the beginning. And I’m not talking about the start of the show, I’m talking since they DIED. And for Isaac to immediately loose interest in Nigel because some hot dinosaur loving dude gave him a lap dance was RIDICULOUS. I mean, it’s literally said in the show that Isaac broke off his engagement to Nigel FOR this guy. Who mind you, wasn’t even DEAD YET. And when he did die and become a ghost (for some freakin reason) Isaac had the absolute NERVE to say they were meant to be ‘soulmates’. And he said that IN FRONT OF NIGEL. It’s like Isaac has done a complete one-eighty and became heartless and at times pathetic. And for what? To make room for storylines involving all the other couples? The HETEROSEXUAL couples? Not to say any of them don’t deserve to be happy, of course not. Especially Sass, I mean come on. He’s such a sweetie. The point being that all these other couples get to have happy endings, EXCEPT for the queer ones? Not to mention we’ve only gotten one kiss out of Isaac and Nigel. ONE KISS. And two hugs. While the others have had how many kisses? How many lustful moments on screen? LITERALLY EVERYONE ELSE. I hope to God (or whoever runs this universe, I don’t freaking know) that they fix this in season 5. That they find SOME way of getting Isaac and Nigel back together. And they STAY together.

This season of Ghosts felt even more heteronormative than previous ones which is saying something but for a while Nigel x Isaac was the only queer content (no, Flower referencing the cult doesn't count) and they've been seperated all this time and now we have yet another mlw canon ship. I'm not sure of the reason for this but I'm gonna somehow tie it into Trump administration. /mj

Thinking about Hetty all alone as a ghost in the mansion for an indeterminant amount of time, no one to comfort her as she mourned her life and grappled with her own death and regret, or even show her the ropes to being a ghost.

And one day the three most bizarre men she has ever laid eyes on walk out of her basement and act like THEY live there in HER home?

I don't think she would have stood for that. Despite her position as a lone woman without even the ability to grab a makeshift weapon to defend herself, I do think she would have stood her ground and told those intruders to get the hell out of her house and leave her alone. Probably with several choice insults and curses thrown in that I don't care to imagine.

But after a moment of confusion on the strangers' faces, Hetty is surprised to see a deep sadness and sympathy in their eyes as realization dawns on them.

She can see them. She is one of them, now. Which means that she has died.

The little girl that they watched grow up, watched have her heart broken, watched be sold off into a loveless and miserable marriage and who they watched learn to treat others with cruelty and disdain - is dead. And she has been condemned, as they have, to wander these halls for an eternity.

She would be taken aback as they recognize her and offer her their condolences. She is cold when they ask her what happened, but she soon learns to appreciate the strange companionship, even if two of them smell like the dickens.

Prediction For How Isaac and Nigel Will Get Back Together. (Spoilers for 4x16 included)

Ok, I think I’ve figured out how Isaac and Nigel will get back together. Picture this:

Chris decides to come back to Woodstone for a visit where Nigel finds out Isaac lied. While Isaac is trying to explain himself, Nigel blows up, saying how he was just starting to trust him again and thinks he lied because he was jealous of him and Chris. Later on while Chris and Nigel are hanging out, Nigel learns that Chris left voluntarily and didn’t really seem to care about him. Nigel then leaves Chris and is just a mess. Isaac comes across him upset and tries to comfort him. Nigel starts rambling about why he can’t seem to find someone who loves him and is loyal and thinks that he himself is the problem for trusting them right away. Isaac IMMEDIATELY shuts that down saying how he is absolutely NOT the problem and how amazing and loving he is and that any guy would be so lucky to be with him. Nigel seems to calm down, and while looking at each other, they lean in for a kiss. Isaac asks if this is okay and if he’s okay but Nigel says yes he’s fine and they continue kissing. (Which may or may not lead into something more..👀)

the eldest four ghosts of the house being close is so dear to me. the idea that they’ve been there for each other the longest—that the boys even watched hetty grow up—is such a tender and compelling touch.

what’s also true about this friend group is that they only ever have one brain cell between them at all times, and it bounces between them like a ping pong ball. <3

I love this show! I love the characters, the story… Man, I really want to see Trevor and Hetty together. I know, I know, they aren’t perfect, but they're good for each other (and their hook-ups are hilarious)
