After spending a couple of days back in Phenac in her apartment, watching Mystique float around her apartment chasing after Colin who was having way too much fun running under the tables and chairs, a thought crossed her mind. She hadn’t seen Morty in quite a long time, and while she tried to write him as much as she could, not seeing him for this long was lame.

So obviously, that needed to be fixed and she knew just the thing to have them bond over. The Relic Forest where Celebi resided sometimes, would also be something they could talk about. She needed to show it to him anyway, since he had such a strong connection with all three of the Dogs Wes and her managed to save. And Celebi was so important too. So she wrote to him, inviting him to the lush green oasis of Agate Village.

She returned her playful munchkins, and set out to leave Phenac immediately to meet him there. She was so excited she could hardly wait. And while she knew that it would take Morty a while to get there, she wanted to see her grandparents anyway. Spending quality time with them for a few days was always something she enjoyed, and when it was about time to meet up with him, she stood outside the Village, waiting for him to appear. It was getting dark, and that was exactly what she was hoping for. When he finally did arrive, she waved to him, running over and hugging him tight. 

“Morty! I missed you a ton! Thanks for coming all the way out here, I know it wasn’t an easy trip. But I really hope you like this. I’ve got a great thing to show you that I’m sure we can talk endlessly about! It’s the Relic Forest, where we saved all those Pokemon seven years ago.”

Skye’s Sinning Overview #1!

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeello there! Welcome to my first (ever!) NatPark’s End Week Sin Central!! (Name still in the works orz) 

It is officially April 1st! Happy April Fools! Totally wont be writing some strange fanfic later...

ANYWAYS, This sinner is always down for receiving whatever strange rumors you’ve got (now that I finally have a blog space to announce this on! AHAHAHAH-) right on over in my submit box! (Don’t be shy! I won’t be able to provide if you don’t help out! Any rumor will do, really :’3 ) 

But, I’ve gathered some of the most interesting rumors I can find! Let’s get started, shall we?

SHIPPING

[CONFIRMED] First off, I’m glad to announce that a ship that I personally have been following has become official! My source in Hoenn tells me that they saw the Gym Leader Morty kissing someone on top of Mt. Pyre! Isn’t that insane?! Who IS this person? I’ll bring ya more when I learn it!

[CONFIRMED] Secondly, we turn to far off Johto for a few capes and smooches from... Clair?! That’s right, folks, the Johto Dragon-Type Gym Leader is gittin’ gud, just like her Ghost-Type counterpart, and she’s got some kisses goin’ left and right, and she’s lent out a few copies of her suit even! How can I sign up? I guess she’s just selecting random people sobs...

[CONFIRMED] Along with the theme of kissing, a little bird told me that a tree caught on fire! AND! Some electricity seems to have caught on fire as well! Both seemed intense, and I’m hoping they’ll continue on. Here’s to shipping!

[CONFIRMED] Supposedly, another kiss ended up happening in the far off land of Kalos. Needless to say, the french bread is always sweeter in Kalos.

[UNCONFIRMED] Many, many more kisses are rumored to of happened! Everyone’s in the romantic mood it seems, but Valentine’s day happened a month ago! Must be holiday lag. I’m not naming names.

[CONFIRMED] Lucian apparently got gud today! He got a lotta kisses under his belt today! I wasn't one of them it seems like everyone’s gonna be reading for a while now.

FUN STUFF

[UNCONFIRMED] It seems like some people have been doing some cosplays recently! It’s strange, I was just thinking about getting a trademark look, maybe you guys can cosplay me when that happens! I promise to wear nothing like Wallace, or like Team Aqua. No Team Flare or maid outfits either.

[CONFIRMED] Oh, yes, today I got to roll in one of Clair’s blankets. She was off kissing people, I guess. It smelt really good.

[CONFIRMED] Lucian offered me a novel deal! That’s right! SNNR is gonna get a novel soon! (hopefully!)

Traversing Emotions [Snow + Morty]

“Lunge, please, you are far too heavy to be sitting on my shoulder.” Snow spoke with a laugh as he leaned against the outside of the mountain, trying his best to support both Lunge and himself. “Morty will be here shortly... Wait, you did not get the chance to meet him, did you? He is a very wonderful person.”

A sigh came from the white haired man, and Snow ran a hand over the top of the Beedrill’s head, letting his hand run down the back of his head and back on top in a repeated motion. Snow just hoped that Morty got here quick, since it was very, very warm here in Hoenn. He didn’t want to step foot inside without the Ghost-Type Master though, that thought still managing to choke him up with fear.

Mt. Pyre had been the choice destination for the duo. In all honesty, Snow would have wanted to come here anyways, but he would have never came to Mt. Pyre because of his fear of Ghost-Type Pokemon. With Morty, however, he almost felt like he could do most anything. He felt empowered and safe, something that he felt as soon as he had laid eyes on the blonde man back in Pokemon Tower.

Pokemon Tower... It felt like forever ago, but really it had only been a month or two. Some of the longest months in my life. Thoughts like those had invaded his mind since the pair last parted ways, and Snow would admit that he had been looking forward to this meeting far more than he felt he should have. If someone would have told him a few years ago that he would be looking forward to going into a Pokemon Graveyard mountain, he would have laughed like a maniac in their face.

Blonde hair and a familiar purple scarf came into sight, however, and Snow’s thoughts were broken, a smile spreading over his face. Lunge got off the man, resting on the ground instead. As soon as Morty came close, Snow found himself with his arms around the man, closing his eyes for a moment. “It has been too long.” Quickly, however, he removed himself from the Ghost man, his cheeks burning red with embarrassment. It was embarrassing, how swift Snow was to throw himself on the other.

The Burned Tower || Michael & Morty

It had taken his mother quite some convincing to allow Michael to leave Orre, and even then, every region was off-limits except Johto, where Lily’s parents still resided in Olivine. By this point, the teen had traveled his home region extensively, and was desperate for a chance to see more of the world. Ideally he would have been allowed to go to Hoenn, the home of his father, but Lily wouldn’t hear it. Hopefully if this trip went well, he’d be able to convince her that he could go elsewhere, too.

And Johto wasn’t a horrible region to visit. After all, that was where Lugia was rumored to dwell, formerly in some tower and currently under the ocean waves. So Michael pounced on the chance, even if the plan was merely to visit his grandparents. The plan could be altered easily enough along the way.

It was a pleasant surprise to learn his grandparents had no intention of keeping him pinned in their home--Johto was a place where children roamed freely as long as they had Pokemon at their side, and Michael, no mere child at this point, had quite powerful companions. He was free to explore as he wished, and when he declared his first order of business Ecruteak, Lily’s mother provided her grandson with a ticket to see the Kimono Girls.

Their hall was where he currently found himself. While dancing was hardly something he was interested in, he was interested in seeing their Eevee’s evolutions, so he sat quietly through the proceedings. As soon as it was over, however, he fully intended to sneak off to Lugia’s ruined tower. He wanted to see where the Pokemon he’d opened the heart of and subsequently befriended once called home.

He was at the back of the theater, and as soon as the performance finished, he scanned his surroundings and slipped out, making his way through the growing twilight towards the charred remains of Lugia’s former home.

I love Morty, every time I read something of yours I’m always delighted because I can never quite anticipate his reactions, his character is so interesting to me. Like, I’m always thinking of him as someone very self-assured who totally has it together, but then you throw in some small reminder of his more emotional side and it’s Really Good. Plus your writing style compliments him well, the tone of your descriptions is so pleasant and soothing and I like the way you adapt it slightly to suit each of your muses.

And I mean, obviously I’m terribly biased here but I always enjoy some skewed morals and unhealthy infatuations with power so. There’s that too ahaa.

Ghost Step | | Kimaru & Morty

Kimaru had skipped into the Hall early that morning to prepare for her dance class. It was sort of routine for her to teach them, depending on who was available that day. Looking over the schedule, it looked like there wasn’t going to be much for her to do. All the classes were covered, and it wouldn’t hurt to look at how many people were estimated to attend.

Skimming more of the schedule, it looked like it was going to be a pretty lax day, which was a relief. Too many people in one place just made for trouble, especially with the Ghosts. She sighed happily, and went to fetch her Kimono attire. She hummed to herself, somewhat styling her hair to look presentable and came skipping back out. Today was such a good day.

It wasn’t too long after she started getting herself ready for the day that she heard the door open. Turning to face the visitor to find it was none other than the Gym Leader, Morty. She had known Morty for a long time now, and it had been awhile since she saw him. Walking over to him as fast as she possibly could without making too much of a scene, she gave him a tight hug. “Morty! It’s so good to see you! How are you?! Are you here for a dance class?!”

Hey there. I've been going through some illness and general lack of wellness both physical and emotional and I really need to take a huge step back. Could I please take a long hiatus on all three of my children? I'm hoping that's all this becomes. Thank you.

Oh, gosh!  I’m so sorry to hear that!  You don’t have to say anything more: I’ll put your characters on our extended hiatus, which lasts five (5) weeks.  This will have your characters on hold for you until March 31st.  It hurts me to hear that you’re going through such a terrible time.  I really do hope that things get better for you, and that this break delivers everything that you need.  Please take good care of yourself in the interim.  I don’t want you putting yourself under any more unnecessary stress.  Just focus on getting rest for now.  We’ll see you back if/when you’re ready.

EVENT // Not so fine dining // Ariana  & Morty

Ariana felt excited for she had won a free ticket to S.S. Anne. She had been mesmerized as she had boarded, everything looked so amazing. She had been informed that she would be attending a dinner with her travel partner - however she had not yet been told who it would be.

After fixing her makeup and hair she decided to make her way to the restaurant. The place sure was not fancy. She was assigned to a table that had been reserved for her and her partner whom was not there yet. This made her panic a little bit, what if she would end up dining alone there like a fool?

She gasped at the thought and proceeded to order some wine, having a drink should help even though the taste could be nothing but disappointing.

The wait was nerve-wracking. Ariana had ended up drinking the cheap wine, she had eaten nothing and by now she was quite intoxicated. The restaurant’s staff started to grow irritated about her behavior.

“What a great dinner...”  She muttered to herself, holding her face in her hands.

It’s been a slow week it seems, news hasn’t really been coming in. The heat of summer is right on the heels of spring, it seems, and everyone is locking themselves inside! Hoenn is too damn hot... Everyone make sure you’ve got your air conditioners ready!

[UPDATE] I wasn’t able to find much information on whoever was on that mountain with Morty, unfortunately. However, I did interview a passerby, a tall, white haired man who wouldn’t give me his name. When asked about Morty and his mystery companion, he said, “I do not know what you are talking about,” blushed, and walked away. Not even a man that was on the mountain saw Morty’s new partner! Scary, huh? I’ll try to get an interview with Morty, and I’ll ask him myself!
