Decided to redraw Gila!

Gila is one of my first two WOF ocs ever! And I haven’t drawn her in years, so I had to do her.

She’s a sandwing assassin, and actually part of my very old WOF AU that I never talked about because it really sucks lol.

Founded in 1876, Mogollon was named after Don Juan Ignacio Flores Mogollon, governor of New Mexico in the 1700’s. With almost 100 historic buildings remaining, Mogollon is a ghost town lover’s dream. Once a bustling, raucous mining town, the 15 or residents serve as caretakers.

The short trail (1.25 miles) winds through a narrow slot canyon created by Whitewater creek. About half of the hike is on a suspended metal bridge, the Catwalk, bolted to the canyon walls, high above Whitewater creek. The first 1/2-mile of the trail is wheelchair-accessible. There are small waterfalls along the way and a nice swimming hole at the end, with small pools tucked behind boulders just off the trail.
