I had just rewatched all of Gildedguy's story animations, and even though I've seen it many a time, the moment Gildedguy puts the gauntlets on to go through the physical and mental pain of his trauma so he can finally accept it, move past it, and fight at his best, or at least take a major step in healing... It actually made me tear up a bit

so i had a weird dream about gildedguy being in artfight and uploading a bunch of alternate gildedguys

first one was gildedguy but just. Green.

second one was a sad gildedguy named Lynn??? its eyes changed colors based off of its emotions and it had a tail for some reason. i Guess. also it was handcuffed

third gildedguy was a small gildedguy with blue eyes and orange innermask. i like this one

Don't know if I've posted this but it's one of my favorite videos. Up there with Kaizo Trap.

To sum it up, it's about meeting one's heroes and seeing that they absolutely live up to the hype, but they personally view themselves and their contemporaries, their entire industry, as something corrupt that needs to be taken down. And about trying to stop them while they try to destroy the remaining monuments to their legacy.

In Tumblr terms, it's like learning the best poster on the site said "screw it, Tumblr isn't worth it" and tried to nuke every one of their own posts along with all the other posts you hold dear to your heart, while you desperately try to archive as much as you can. And the thing is, they're right, but you still don't want the posts to be gone forever.
