“don’t you guys think that gagamaru and l/n are a bit too close?” asked igarashi. he had a hand to the side of his mouth, eyes focused on the pair who were eating together on another table. “ever since we started here, they’ve been together all the time.”

kunigami, mouth full with rice, rolled his eyes. swallowing what was in his mouth, he picked up some more rice, ready to shovel it into his mouth. “is there a problem with that?”

igarashi put his hands in front of his face in the shape of an x. he shook his head violently. “it’s more of an observation than anything.”

“you could say the same about me and bachira,” isagi chimed in. bachira nodded and wrapped his arms around isagi’s shoulders to further his point.

“but it’s different with them,” said igarashi. “they’re like ridiculously close!”

as if hearing him, you wiped some food off of gagamaru’s face. he looked at you with those wide eyes and smiled. it would have been a sweet moment if not for the fact that gagamaru went back to eating, hands grabbing his food and pushed it into his mouth. the four boys looked at each other before rolling their eyes. classic gagamaru.

“why don’t you just ask them?” said isagi. he pointed at igarashi with his chopsticks. the bald monk’s face dropped. he put his arms in an x motion once more, shaking his head with much more fervour.

“i can’t just do that! he’d eat me!” they weren’t sure if he was talking about gagamaru or you.

they group looked over at the two of you again. you were wiping gagamaru’s face again with a napkin as he wiped his hands with another. your hand rested on the side of his face again and you looked at him softly. he gazed into your eyes, seemingly enraptured. both of you leaned forward and met each other halfway with a kiss. pulling apart, you smiled widely at him and his lips quirked up into his own form of smile.

igarashi’s mouth hung open almost comically. his eyes were wide, nearly popping out of his skull. bachira giggled to himself softly while isagi smiled.

kunigami, with a small smirk, said, “i think that answers your question, igarashi.”

There is always that distinctive scent lingering on you, the smell that you try to explain but your vague ability stops you from pointing it out precisely. It must be strong if your nose can pick it out. So misty, cold, and incredibly familiar. No matter how many times you wash the school uniform and scrub your skin red, it comes back the next day, at what time you can never point it out, however, it's evident that it's from school.

Gin is all-natural through and through (except when it comes to his hair), and the perfumes often irritate his sensitive nose, same with sweet-smelling shampoos and body wash, he believes that they are artificial smells that stain people's true character, he has also found that those who use fake odors have many insecurities to hide, be it their second gender or their natural aroma is an unfavored one in society, it does not bother him, but he has never favored deceit. Gin believes that his smell is quite pleasant, probably influenced by all the time he and his family spent hiking when he was a pup. It reminds him of the scent of rain, petrichor was what the doctor called it when he presented. A compliment that his brain only remembered because of the correct adjective used to describe his recently discovered asset.

He remembers it all too well, the overwhelming mix of raw and false fragrances in his middle school class, packed in a classroom with no windows open. He couldn't help the scrunched nose showing on his face every day, trying to find clean air to breathe without the biological chemicals burning off his nose, for the first time in his life, Gin could clearly express his emotion all thanks to newly flowered instincts and his personal preference. It was a shame it had to be distaste. As a pup, he dreamed of having long limbs to hike with, cross the rivers, and climb on rocks without his father helping him, but if this is what it's like to be a grown-up, smelling all the smelly smells that smell bad or good, he would rather be a pup forever.

His keen hearing and eyesight are no match for his sense of smell, but now he could pick out his parent's residual odor on the school campus, hours after they've left.

Maybe it was his bias that made him favor Betas more than Omegas and Alphas, the natural and soft undertones in a society full of suffocating chemicals were liberating for Gin.

His nose was able to smell the uplifting aroma that you contained, weaker than ever hidden behind countless scents. It stayed like that between you and Gin, him enjoying your smell from the other side of the classroom while you took notes and never glanced in his direction, your nose is weaker than others, never truly being able to sense the intense pheromones swirling around.

His communication is not the best, however, he does not care enough to improve it anymore. Some view his nonchalant attitude and simple words as a negative trait. He wonders what you will think of it.

With a bag tossed over your shoulder, you stroll the chilly hallways, getting closer and closer to your destination. But just as you are about to grab ahold of the handle to open the door to the classroom, it harshly unlocks itself. An unexpected occurrence makes you softly jump on your feet before even noticing the figure standing on the other side, staring down at you with a curious tint in his round eyes, he casts a shadow on you.

``Oh I'm sorry, I didn't expect anyone...`` He says.

``It's okay...`` There is not a lot to say about him, even if you are his classmate, you don't know much about him and are not planning on knowing. As you make room for him to pass, you can feel his shoulder press against yours before he finally frees the entrance and walks away from the class. It was a confusing experience, but nothing to note of.

Gin figures that his favorite activity is scenting, his mother and his father were the first people he tried to scent, and kept their scent on him as an eleven-year-old pup up til the last year of middle school.

He is aware that leaving his pheromones on your clothes isn't the best strategy, but neither is leaving his scent on your skin while knowing nothing of you. He hopes that maybe he can change that, perhaps you will recognize that the cold smell comes from him.

Gin is a person who listens to his instincts, it's a skill needed for his beloved hobbies, however lately as you come to school without his scent, the active feeling of annoyance is hard to miss, he wants nothing but to drag you into his bed and cover you with himself, until your nose smells nothing but him on you the whole week, til someone can't differentiate Gagmaru from you. Gin wants nothing but to become one with you in those mornings. It's a shame he can only touch a part of you "accidentally" for it.

He wonders if his scent ever comforts you.

Gin will always find a way to scent you no matter what, so you might as well stop trying to clean it and start seeking him out since he is the only one whose scent matches with the one clinging to you.

The nonchalant alpha has never taken any bait thrown his way, so when his classmates start looking judgemental of his actions, Gin never remembers their words, he has already answered them once and Gagamarus don't like repeating themselves.

Maybe that's how you got to the bottom of your situation, rumors and rude words about him flying through the school until they finally got mingled with your name. So that's all he had to do to make you approach him? Hmh.

You speak so calmly when he left no roundabout way for you and made you go straight to the point.

You ask him to stop scenting you?

He likes you, maybe even loves you.

You don't believe in love at sight?

That's okay, he'll make you believe it.

The next day he puts his plan to work and brings only the best snacks for you to enjoy during lunch. Try to be nice after all, it's his first time courting someone.

Gin Gagamaru's music taste headcanons!

I would say he does listen to mainstream music, but the 2000's type of music.

Of course he knows what's popular now, it's just not his cup of tea.

He likes the classics that probably everyone knows.

It gives the 'ride with your parents to your holiday destination at 3 a.m.'.

He also enjoys some timeless hits, such as Modern Talking and ABBA.

As for the bands on his playlist, it's literally every single music genre known to human.

I would have him classified as Deftones boy, but in this lonely way. Due to him living away from society in his little forest.

He also listens to TV Girl, but does not know that some of the lyrics are showing extreme misogony and how bad society can get when it comes to women.

Your average Oingo Boingo enjoyer, which means he is the 'kind of weird, kind of cool' friend.

Likes Ghost, but has never seen any of their music videos — bless his "innocent" soul.

Would also love Red Hot Chili Peppers. Scar Tissue is one of his fave songs, due to his ear being ripped and him almost losing to the bear.

He enjoys Gorillaz and Daft Punk, but does not listen to them often.

Also knows The Weeknd, Tame Impala.

Got to know Air afer he watched the Virgin $uicide$ movie. He finds it confusing because be never was a 14 year old girl.

He has Mother Mother saved up on his playlist, but only listens to it when he is in specific mood.

kenyu yukimiya:

people call him this often. it’s the name he introduces himself with.

“hello, my name is yukimiya. but you can just call me yukki.” because he’s friendly and chill like that.

you and all his friends call him this and he addresses himself as ‘yukki’ too. it’s such a cute name.

ken! that means you are his barbie <3 he likes joking around with this name and you do too!

well it is true, he would do anything for you like how ken does anything for barbie.

if you like to watch barbie movies/series he’ll gladly watch them with you too. i feel like yukki is also the type of guy who isn’t afraid to wear pink in public he’s ALL for it.

yukki is shocked and otoya is just laughing to himself watching this unfold and now, karasu has yukki’s contact changed to “ken-not see”.

such a cute name for a manly guy. you call him this often and he seems to like it. sometimes he likes it so much that he won’t respond if you call him “tabito” or “karasu”

he’ll only respond if you call him ‘tabi’!!!

and only from you!! like if his friends call him ‘tabi’ he’ll ignore it because it’s special and only for you to use.

the two of you were playing around with words and you somehow managed to connect the word ‘tiramisu’ to his full name.

the ‘t’ is taken from ‘tabito’, and ‘tiramisu’ rhymes with ‘karasu’ hence this ridiculous but funny nickname came to be.

like just imagine the typos you make when you text him and one day ‘kraasu’ popped up and you haven’t let it go ever since.

i guess it’s also an easier way to say ‘karasu’ it’s basically just shortened to ‘krasu’ y’know!

he doesn’t really mind it, but it’s cute. just ‘ei’.

he frowns a little when people call him this but he doesn’t stop them. it’s like a playful name for ‘otoya’.

sometimes people confuse his name as ‘toyota’ like the car too so!

if you take his last name ‘otoya’ and just merely play around with it and mix up the letters to ‘yota’ it sounds just like ‘yoda’!

and it suits him (???) because of the green in his hair just like the actual yoda from star wars!

he loves when you call him any of these names. any german term of endearment, he just loves it.

he’ll also call you this too, and so you picked it up from him and begun calling him these lovely names too!!!

he smiles sooo wide his eyes close when you called him this for the first time. he didn’t know how much he loved being called a nickname until it slipped out of your mouth!

“you’re calling me that? that’s so cute…” he mutters, all smiley and giggly.

i guess there are two pronounciations for this. it could be “ginnie” with a g, or like “jinnie”!!!

How you fell in love with each other

You fell in love very quickly, and even though you were incredibly obvious with it, Gagamaru didn't notice your romantic feelings for the longest time. Even when he started falling for you as well, Gagamaru stayed oblivious about his own feelings. And because you were so shy about confessing, it took over a year until you finally started dating.

Word count: no word count (feeling a bit lazy) but it isn’t that long

Today is Gagamaru Gin’s birthday (not actually but let’s pretend), and you wanted to surprise him with a date. You had your hands over his eyes as you were leading him to the spot.

You had thought it would be the perfect surprise to set up a picnic up in the mountains. You know Gagamaru loves the mountains, and you two had discovered a little place that was pretty private and you two loved it there; you also knew he loved food, so why not a picnic?

After leading Gagamaru to the designated spot, after him asking “are we there yet?” fifty thousand times, you took your hands off his eyes. When he opened them his eyes went wide and a smile crept on to his face.

“Did you do this?” He asked.

“Mhm! Do you like it?” You said rather proudly.

”Like it? No, I love it! Thank you so much! This is the best gift I could have gotten; second to you.” Gagamaru wrapped his arms around you and pulled you into a tight hug, which you happily accepted and hugged him back.

After your hug the two of you sat down on the picnic blanket, which was his favorite color. You two talked for a bit then started eating. You had been trying to teach him how to use chopsticks before and somewhat succeeded in doing.

You watched him fiddle with the chopsticks and eventually manage to pick up a pork dumpling. You two ate rather slowly because he kept struggling with the chopsticks but didn’t wanna be rude since you prepared this whole thing for him.

After you two had finished eating and put everything back in the picnic basket you both lay down on the blanket. The sun was setting so it was the stars were starting to come out. Eventually they did and you and Gagamaru lay there, cuddling, under the stars.

“This was a wonderful birthday..”
