I think Yeni and Vertin will get along great!

Vertin gets along with Yeni because she is diligent like Pupnetto and she's very reliable.

Yeni is fond of Vertin since she parallels Bessmert and they share a lot of the same traits.

People like Druvis, Sonetto, and Yenisei can help Vertin babysit manage her very chaotic energetic Suitcase fam. Sonetto would get to listen to all of Yeni's stories and adventures too! Yenisei will fit right in with the others.

little post dedicated to marcus headcanons

this turned out slightly longer than i expected so i'll put them below here :)

- wants to get better at languages for multiple reasons. she wants to be able to read in more different languages and expand her horizons, but also she wants to be more proficient in talking to people in general. she thinks having an expansive vocabulary in multiple languages can help her find the right words

- whenever there is a planned social interaction she is going to get into, she practices and acts it out to herself first. she usually only does it when she's certain that she's all alone. hofmann noticed her doing this once though, leaving marcus a flustered mess, but the mentor reassures her not to overthink and go with the flow of the interactions when they occur

- aroace

- permanent baby face. people at the foundation and elsewhere might end up thinking she's younger than she actually is

- covers part of her face in her scarf whenever she gets nervous

- tries to get into all sorts of books. but she has recently been particularly enthralled by mystery/horror novels, likely catalyzed by the time she spent in the lighthouse. she's not even scared of such books, simply captivated. for mystery novels she often tries to predict the ending

- during her time in the suitcase she keeps a journal where she writes down her experiences, as well as her thoughts and observations about the other inhabitants of the suitcase. she definitely keeps this to herself

- the younger kids in the suitcase sometimes ask her to read for them. avgust is probably her biggest "fan", thinking marcus must be very smart since she reads a lot (which is true) and wanting to know more about THE lighthouse

- an-an lee finds out that marcus used to be acquainted with ghosts and asks her all about them. aside from that, an-an lee is enthusiastic about introducing her to the other ghosts in the suitcase. marcus would likely start off being rather awkward with click and poltergeist but eventually they would vibe. an-an lee definitely helps break the ice and makes marcus feel comfortable around her

Where did Bradley and Sweet Girl go for their honeymoon? I can stop thinking about them 🩵

They spend 3 weeks in Italy! They start in the North with Verona and Venice before working their way South, making stops in Florence and Rome, before ending in the Amalfi Coast.

They’re drinking good coffee and wine and eating pasta! There are lots of late nights and lazy mornings in bed. The morning light really is different in Italy.

Bradley is a bit of a history buff, so he is dropping tidbits as they explore Venice. (And while he’s happy for the couple they see get engaged under the Bridge of Sighs he’s also side eyeing it because that history is terribly unromantic). On their third night there, they both get tipsy off a couple bottles of Bardolino wine, and she flashes him on the Ponte delle Tette and later they get wolf whistled at because that secluded corner he’s crowded her into to make out afterwards isn’t that secluded. (Amóre!) 🥰

In Florence, they’re holding hands as they check out the Uffizi, picnicking along the river, and getting gelato at least twice a day. They buy Mav a leather jacket at the leather market as a thank you for watching Duck while they’re away. She surprises him with a cooking class. They really pack in all the exploring and cultural experiences in the first two weeks.

And the last week at the Amalfi Coast is spent at the seaside swimming and relaxing. Bradley gets to read a book cover to cover for the first time in what feels like years. And on one of their last full days there they hire a boat for the day, and take in the views with an aperol spritz (or two or three).

Bradley’s curls get all sunkissed in the golden glow of the Italian sunshine and he gets freckles on his shoulder. Even though she has the brush on powder sunscreen stick in her purse, his nose still gets sunburned and stays pink for most of the trip.

He loves seeing her sundress collection, and she thrives with him wearing those 5 inch inseam shorts. But she really does him in when they go to one of the beach clubs and he sees her high cut bikini bottoms with her butterfly tattoo on full display. (She absolutely knew what she was doing with that one, especially since now there’s a recently tattooed BB tucked next to them 🤗)
