Glitchtale: FEAR

Author Note: Hello everyone! I was honestly surprised a few told me to go for it when I expressed I wanted to rewrite Glitchtale. I will be doing my own vision on this while also having inspiration from the original even tho...it..was confusing but for my version, I will try my best to make it make sense. This will also help me improve my writing skills for my AU I am working on for a webtoon! Please reshare this and your thoughts to me as this progresses! I will be changing stuff and also keeping some thkngs the same but also adding more depth to things for the story. Maybe expect visuals if I have time to do that buuut...hope you enjoy and thank you for reading!

Glitchtale: FEAR

Chapter 1: Megalomaniac

Everyone was dead.

Majority were dead anyway. Alphys was able to save a few but...it seem inevitable.

Sans stood in the judgement hall, he always wondered how something so bright can shine through the windows. Such a beautiful light and yet dark. What he felt was dark.

He looked ahead hearing small chatter. The chatter seemed to stop after awhile, only footsteps that got louder the closer it got. This wasn't the first time he been here. Waiting, judging. The human did many genocide routes. Never completing a pacifest route, maybe they were just bored Sans thought. The human only did one pacifest route to hotland then suddenly Sans remembers waking up in his room. Not sure what made the human change their mind about the whole thing.

A small sigh escape as he saw the human lift their hand to the air, never knew why they did that but he assumed there was something there that made the human come back. Sans watch Frisk turn their body in his direction. Frisk expression was dark.

Sans stared as his pupils narrow to the windows. The human always quit during his fight, why did they try again and again? Reset after reset? Sans lifted his hand and his one pupil glowed blue with a mix of yellow.

'This is their fault...right?'

Rows of bones shot up from the floor, launching at Frisk who jump back. Only to turn and see blue blasts devouring Frisk and turning them into nothing. Their soul shattering.

Sans lowered his hand and felt the small energy that he wasted return, seeing Frisk again. Sans tilit his head to the side.

"What is it that you want?" He asked

Frisk remained silent as they launch and swung their knife at Sans. Sans easily dodge it and turn Frisk soul blue, they got launch back and their entire chest got pierce by bones against the wall.

Energy was replenish again for Sans. He look ahead seeing Frisk again. He then rubbed the back of his head.

"Seriously...I really believe there was a time we could been pals? Eating bad food...enjoying laughs...." Sans paused for a brief moment before his eyes glowed again "can we go back to that?"

Frisk spun the knife before launching at Sans again, swinging the knife. Sans noticed something was off. Frisk seem to be dodging a little better or maybe he saw something different. Small little specs of..whatever what was happening. Sans ignored it however as he summoned Gaster Blaster and shot at Frisk who got devour by it again.

"Can't you just reset the timeline and we can go back to how it was" Sans exclaimed as he shot multiple bones at Frisk. Frisk swung there knife blocking and parrying.

"Even after what you did, he believe in you"

Frisk felt the bones pierce there chest causing them to die again. Death after death after death. Frisk didn't want to care anymore, but they hated it. Dying over and over again made them hate it so much.

"Give up"

Frisk barely recall anything that Sans has said after that. They stood there between continue and reset. There was one thing that Frisk did remember.

'Please don't come back....if your my friend...please...'

Frisk stood there staring at the continue before looking at the reset. All of this could end. All of it. Frisk can be happy, they don't need to fight. Frisk was ready, they were ready to give up but...there was hate. Clinging onto them. Frisk felt the hate wrap around them, seeing a brief moment of Chara with a wide smile before Frisk saw nothing but black.

Sans stared ahead, seeing someone else who wasn't Frisk. Chara tilit their head to the side with a smile. Sans felt uneasy, before he knew it Chara was already attacking him. Swing after swing, dodge after dodge. Chara was more skilled at fighting with a knife than Frisk was. Even when Sans launch Chara towards a row of bones, Chara spun the knife and slammed it onto the floor and stop themselves from falling onto the bones. Sans felt his exhaustion coming through.

Frisk can only seem to see what was happening in such a thin lining. Frisk slammed their fists against the view they only hand.

"I'm sorry" Frisk yelled. Nothing happened.

Attack after attack got slower. So much slower. Three bones slowly launch at Chara who just stood there, parrying two. Catching one. Sans let out a shaky breathe, he had hit his limit. Falling to his knees and slowly glancing up at Chara who smiled widely.

Frisk slammed there fists harder, a crack. A crack formed, Frisk felt a glimmer of determination spark.

Chara lifted there knife in the air. Sans let out a breathe. What a nice day....he thought. Before closing his eye sockets.

He thought it be quick, to turn into dust but all he heard was blood splatter onto the judgement hall floor. He opened his eye sockets to see Frisk have returned, only to have been struck in the back by Chara who look equally shock as Sans was.

"I'm sorry Sans....please take my soul and fix my mistakes" Frisk said before dissapearing.

Chara stood there baffled befkre gritting their teeth and reaching for the soul but Sans was able take it first. A blast happened and Chara flew back, sliding on their feet. Chara glanced up at Sans who both eye sockets were open wide and both glowing.

"Hehe, look at that" he said as he glanced at the reset button next to him. "Did you forget?" He asked

Chara looked annoyed. "But...first..." Sans snap his fingers and Chara felt a bone pierce their chest and launch them into the air. Sans surrounded them by Gaster blasters. Sans smiled widen seeing the blasts shot and cause the judgement hall to glow blue.

"Eh..get dunk on megalomanic" he stated as he pressed the reset button.

I still remember this fight to this day. It was already a long time ago when Undyne fought Betty after seeing Alphys die in front of her.

She goes full berserk and turned into Undyne the Undying to smack Betty so damn hard !

Betty or what one of my friends and I like to call her Fear. I don't really have any headcanon stuff but that same friend made an oc that is basically her younger sister that also goes by betty for some reason so that's why we started calling this Betty, Fear [Her sister is called Bet]

This will be the last update about the accusations against Nyx and me from last year and recent months.

VERSION EN ESPAÑOL:

I cannot force everyone to forgive or believe us, but I would like to provide a closure from our part on the events following Hopeless Peaches' false accusations last year, and a few more that have been reappearing this year, once more.

In recent months, we resumed communication with CrystalFlame, one of the victims of the Glitchtale server. Crystal acknowledged that the accusations against us for allegedly being sexual towards minors and bribing her to remain silent about our "crimes" were entirely fabricated by these people. It was never our intention to hide our past mistakes with money. The separate donations Nyx and I gave to Crystal were solely intended to help her.

Regarding the conversations on Skype in 2017, neither Nyx nor I ever forced the minors present to engage in sexual behavior for our entertainment, nor did we sexualize them in any way. There were inappropriate conversations between adults, in which they should not have been involved, and we recognize our mistake in being negligent and not caring enough about them. I must admit that Veir also disgusted me, and I reacted foolishly by not confronting him or by saying things he liked just to make him leave me alone. I deeply regret this. Although we have apologized to Crystal for this, I also want to apologize to the minors who were there, even if they don't want to know about this anymore, and to the entire community for this huge mistake. Since Nyx and I stopped using that chat short after our irl meeting that same year, plus our detachment to the members of GT, we have changed our views significantly both in public and in private, creating a healthy community for everyone. I will add more details later regarding my experiences with NSFW material, for which I have also been accused of being a depraved person.

I disagree with how Nyx tried to explain how these behaviors were so normalized, but he never intended to endorse the toxicity and unpunished crimes occurring in Latin culture. Nyx acknowledges this, and we discussed it again privately with Crystal. We apologize once more to our Latin members who might have been offended by this take, which could have been better explained. Nyx and I said a lot of things out of fear and frustration, which caused more harm and distress rather than solutions due to the explosive harassment we faced because of the false accusations by Hopeless Peaches and their group. I won't go into too many details because I have chosen to keep my mental health private, but this wave of harassment severely impacted my mental and physical health, and I am currently undergoing treatment to manage the aftermath.

However, I want to take full responsibility for causing Nyx to act out of emotion rather than with a clear mind in a desperate attempt to protect me, as Crystal ended up in a very complicated situation during the harassment wave created by Peaches, making her believe that our lives were in her hands and dependent on her choices. This was not only inappropriate but also unfair, considering Crystal was going through a lot at that time. Nyx and I poorly worded many things both publicly and privately. We should never have let our emotions take over while trying to defend ourselves. We could have handled the situation more maturely. None of these mistakes will be repeated ever again. Crystal has also admitted her mistakes. Many things would have taken a different path if dialogue had been the first option instead of public statements, but both sides have learned a lot.

With all this, I don't want to hear anything about Glitchtale, its creator, or its still-active members. Nor do I want to hear about Hopeless Peaches or their community, or what's left of it. My purpose on the internet is to entertain people with my art, and on the rare occasions I interact publicly, to maintain a calm and healthy environment, as I have been doing for years. My boundaries with fans are very strict and defined. It may sound ambitious or silly to many, but for a long time, I have wanted to make a difference and show that not all artists with a large audience are people who hide dark secrets and seek to harm others. I just want to tell stories and brighten people's days.

People have become used to seeing random individuals or public figures being exposed daily for horrible acts and behavior, which is very depressing. However, when those accusations are false, it is sometimes too late to undo the damage. No one likes to be pointed at and accused of something they didn't commit, especially when those accusations are serious, like harming another human being.

Some people today are confused and believe that I am actually Camila, and that Nyx is Veir, that my husband has been dating minors despite us being married, and that I defended my "pedophile" partner and protected other groomers. People are not only mistaking us for other individuals, but we also don't have anything to do with that other than the 2017 Skype chats. We have been put in some sort of black list from parts of the fandom due to misinformation or because some people seek an excuse to justify their dislike for us by wishing we had harmed real children. This is sickening, sickeing and frustrating if you actually think about the victims not only in fandoms but everywhere. So, please, I beg you to distinguish between names and what has actually happened. Even if you don't like us, don't seek or wish for us to be monsters just to feel proud of yourselves.

I feel I could regain some peace in my heart by having the opportunity to talk to Crystal about all what happened and ending in good terms. This should be the end of the whole controversy regarding the Skype Chat and the GT Server.

Now I would also like to take the opportunity to talk about other accusations still aimed at me to this day, which I once explained on a Twitter thread that was eventually deleted due to unnecesary arguments between fans. I'm being accused of being a horrible and irredeemable person for drawing a comic in my early years in the fandom that insinuated a non-consensual act between Cross and Dream.

Before any explanation, I want to emphasize that I still feel immense regret and shame for creating that nsfw comic, even if I didn't feel comfortable doing so, I still made the decision as an adult and shouldn't have done it in a space where there were minors and people who might find that material triggering. Even though it happened many years ago, it was not right, and I will apologize as many times as necessary.

I haven't had any contact with the creator of Dreamtale since 2017, so I'm unaware of her current viewpoint about this topic in general, but one thing is certain: both of us don't want to be associated with that ship between our characters and want to move on. We want it as far away from us as possible. I don't want anybody to harass her over this situation.

During that time, I was in an unstable relationship with the creator of Dreamtale, with whom I used to roleplay privately. This, along with being pressured to make the ship "canon", led me to create the comics for that ship. Among them was the infamous scene for which I'm accused of supporting rape. This content and private interactions reached a point where the entire situation made me uncomfortable, along with the toxic attitudes in our relationship, I ended up closing the blog, though not before writing a summary of what would happen next in the story -that didn't have any other sexual moments, to clarify-, simply a closure for those who enjoyed the comic. Not long after, we broke up.

After this experience, I began to realize that any NSFW content, both fictional and real, made me very uncomfortable. This is connected to future members of the fandom, like Veir, who tried to sexualize me, and later, ex-friends whom I wanted to please for their support during my growth as a content creator by drawing them private NSFW commissions. I ignored my discomfort, believing I was doing the right thing and that I could trust them, but what happened later finally made me understand that I personally cannot tolerate any of this content.

This group of people shared these private commissions among themselves. One of these people was someone I considered a close friend and was even my Discord moderator but began abusing their power towards other members, trying to escape the consequences just because of our friendship. They even tried to offer me money to remove a character from another artist who would appear in my animation as a cameo, just because they both had personal issues. I decided to end our friendship because I saw no changes or improvements on their part and I felt i was being used as a power tool for them.

It wasn't long after this that I found an alt account of them, posting these private NSFW drawings, tagging me to attract attention as a form of revenge for cutting ties with them (They also got Nyx's phone number to trying to get in contact with me despite what they were doing). These images spread last year among a few people who, unaware of the background, used them as a reason to question me as an artist. However I explained the rest of the story before it became more public, and I appreciate that they listened to me first, however, the damage was already done.

In March of this year, I made a thread on Twitter explaining this and my reason for not supporting or consuming NSFW content. I want to stay away from this whole debate. I don't want my words to be used to attack others. My reasons for not enjoying this are because I had people around me who caused me a lot of harm with this matter, it triggers me, and I don't like any sexual topics around me, even as an adult reaching my 30s. I simply don't like it, I'm not interested, and I want my feelings to be respected. I'm very aware that more than half of my audience are minors, and I know how to behave and what to show in my art, but there are still others looking for any excuse to call me or my husband horrible things. It has happened before with accusations of transphobia for making Frisk and Chara from Xtale male instead of non-binary as they are in the canon version. I have been called a pedophile for portraying Frisk and Muffet from XTale in an innocent romantic context, even though there is no age difference, just because is not following, again, the canon (which with all honesty, I'm not aware if it has been confirmed she is a child or not). I have been accused of racism because of the characters' skin color, and so on.

Being hated in a fandom as an artist with a big following is supposed to be normal, but, to what extent?

I know I should ignore those comments and move on, but I still don't understand why it hurts so much that people want to discredit my efforts as an artist and as a person by believing they have found some dark secret in me… I really can't understand, I just want to live in peace.

My art is my only escape from negative thoughts. Nyx is my only support in real life. I have been working on how to deal with online criticism and harassment, but it is really hard when people tell lies in order to ruin a life, especially when those lies try to make us look like disgusting human beings. This puts me in a lot of distress, mostly because I hate conflict and prefer to be left alone. I want to be a role model in this community by not getting involved with problematic people and toxic environments. Even if there are people who don't like my work, I want to show that there is still a bit of decency and common sense in the art community.

For this reason, this will be the last time I talk about this because I want to focus on what makes me, my husband, and my audience happy. I want to set an example, and I want people to read this, try to understand our position, and give us a chance.

Once again, we deeply regret the mistakes we made in the past.

In Waterfall, Sans was at his station. Leaning back in his chair, dozing off as usual. He heard a small ruffled and woke up to see Frisk pop up from the other side of the counter with a smile.

Sans smiled with a small sigh. "Heya kid...so uh..." Sans pupil narrow with a slight uneasy expression. "My break just started, why don't we go to grillbys?" He asked. Frisk gave a thumbs up before Sans got up and waved his hand. "I know a shortcut" Sans snickered as he turned to teleport himself and Frisk to Grillbys.

Glitch detected....

After a small blink, Frisk paused seeing themselves in Waterfall still. Different area though. "Sans?" Frisk said, no response but Frisk did see a strange door. Frisk walked over and observe it. They never seen anything like it before, not in any previous timeline anyway.

Curiosity hit Frisk and opened the door and walk through. A grey area, there was nothing other than a figure. Frisk covered their mouth seeing this figure melting. The figure smile, he looked like he was in pain in Frisk eyes.

"Your...here" He said, his hand gently touch his own chest that was melting over and over. "I am W.D Gaster....I've been stuck here for so long....I've been longing to be set free"

Frisk heard the door slam shut causing Frisk to look back and see the door got covered in the melting goop. Frisk look back at Gaster as he lifted his hand.

"You can help me with your soul"

Frisk dodge in incoming attack, multiple. Frisk continue to dodge, trying to figure out if there another way out but Gaster said he been stuck there for a long time so was there another way out? Why couldn't he just exit that door from earlier that he is blocking? Maybe it was because of the state he was in Frisk thought. For now, Frisk knew they had to buy time so Sans can notice they didn't teleport with him and hope Sans comes searching.

Error. Glitch can not be repatch.

Sans landed at Grillbys, he rubbed the back of his skull as he spoke "So Frisk, I was hoping we can talk about what happen in the last-" Sans glanced over his shoulder only to be greeted with no Frisk next to him. He lowered his hand from his skull and looked around. He teleported back to Waterfall. "Hey Kid?" He called out, no response.

For a moment, just a brief moment he felt something off. His soul. He took it out and saw small pixels "what the..." he watch his soul glitch and shot towards a wall. He flinched from the sudden moment but he walked towards it and grabbed his soul.

'What with this? Is this happening from the previous timeline' he thought before looking at the wall and placing his hand against it. His white pupil dilated when the entire wall got covered in pixels and the door was visual on his side. He let his soul vanish and he reach through and opened the door and saw Frisk rushing around trying to convince Gaster to stop. Frisk was corner and Gaster smiled.

"I'll make it quick" he stated. He shot a melted spike at Frisk but Sans summoned a Blaster and shot the spike and the door along with it. Frisk rushed towards Sans when Gaster moved back to not get hit by the blast.

"So uh, what i miss?" Sans asked stepping back with Frisk as Gaster move towards the exit. Frisk quickly explained what Gaster said. Frisk noticed Sans had a certain look but didn't comment on it.

Gaster move out from where he was "Impossible...I shouldn't be..able to get out" he smiled when his soul appeared glitching and his body started to reform.

Sans eye glowed and smiled awkwardly "Kid..don't panic...but uh I should mention I can't beat this guy" Sans laughed low. Frisk head snap at Sans with a 'what!?' Expression before Sans grabbed Frisk and teleported when a hand slammed towards them and missing causing a quater on the rocks.

Sans breathed out shakily. Gaster looked at his hands "whatever you two did to this timeline...it's making me...stable to stand here...I have to thank you for such an opportunity you have given me" he stated before attacking again

Both Sans and Frisk dodge again. "Just what i wanted to talk about actually" Sans dodge another attack and levitated Gaster and swung him against a wall. "Kid, we need to do it again. At a cost? Yes but it be worse if he gets your soul" Sans said quickly. Frisk nodded and rushed towards Sans with their soul in hand. Just one inch, just once before a large spike pierce into Sans, launching him against the previous quater causing it become bigger. Frisk didn't even get time to react before they got pierce themselves and darkness consume them.

Gaster is taking your soul....

Frisk was trying to fight back, but having a spike pierce through their chest was making them die slowly. They couldn't see anything. They couldn't see Sans at all. Their vision was finally blurring. This never happen before. They usually died fast and come back but now someone taking their soul? No...they didn't want this.

You refused.

Gaster flinched back when orb he made around Frisk shatter and Frisk soul launch towards Sans who was dusting away. Sans caught Frisk Soul, a red dust launching out making Gaster jumping back.

Both Sans eyes were glowing and he shoved his hands in his pocket. "I really...really didn't want to fight. I'm pretty much a lazy bones really" Sans smiled and shrugged before launching summoned bones at Gaster who dodge them. His multiple hands charging at Sans who teleport, slicing three and watching them shatter. Sans was teleporting with that smile of his in thought. He sighed as he lifted his hands and summoned 6 spike bones, each targeting Gaster hands shattering it. The moment that happened, Sans landed and watch pixels formed around Gaster.

Error repatch. Attempting to repatch glitch...

Gaster and Sans both summoned blasters and charge them up. Sans was taken aback, he really was. They both blasted each other but because of the pixels forming around Gaster, it also formed around his Blaster and it dissapeared causing Sans Blaster to shoot Gaster.

A small dust cloud and faint breathing. Sans walked over seeing Gaster in pain, pixels colliding with one another, the form the Gaster was given slowly fading and he was turning into his original state. A state where he could die if not where he was before.

Gaster smiled sadly "Heed my warning....if I was able to maintain my form here...that's mean..something is wrong" Gaster said. He slowly glanced up at Sans "You and the human..did something...change something"

Sans frowned and closed his eyes. "Yeah...expected as much...." he opened his eyes with a sad expression but a smile was kept. "I promise...I'll get you back."

Gaster slowly lowered his head and nodded. Sans lifted his hand, summoning a Blaster. "Cya..."

Sans sighed and leaned his head back. 'Something change? The bad thing is...we can't know exactly what change...mm....' Sans thought before shaking his head and summoning a reset button.

"Kid, take your time in the ruins. Got somethin to do" Sans stated before tapping reset.

Betty Noire is Mary Sue in her story

she can solo any char and her personality is flat like paper

It seemed pretty big problem to me and I had found ways to fix it without transforming Betty in complete other character

1. I've based her fear-centered/reversing powers on creation's souls

It most effective against monsters cuz they're have rather fragile souls and little to no determination ((also IT JUST HAS TO work perfectly on them(( after all Betty was created for killing off all monsters))

It goes a bit worse on humans and depends on the level of their determination

Enough determined soul can easily break through Betty's spell

Betty can't do anything to souless beings((like Ink((she's scared of them))

Andd apple twins too bc of their auras

She can still hit them with her scythe tho

2. Her "negativity" that she had consumed is controlled by Nightmare

Betty's fully sane yeahh

3. I wanna give her actual depth...... Explore more her friendship with Frisk

And how she feels being a creature with only one life goal

To take others lifes

With all that- I want her to be irredeemable villain who sincerely enjoys working on Nightmare

She just accepted who she is she's not brave(haha get it?? GOD WHY I KNOW GLITCHTALE'S LORE.) enough to do something about it

May I request yan!beasts (separately) with a Reader/Darling who ended up like Agate Lightvale from Glitchtale?

Basically, Agate lose one fight with her twin brother and runned away from her Kingdom just for making a revange and corrupting herself with hate and changing her soul trait drastically to the corrupt counterpart of hers (aka. fear) and for years later return to her kingdom to fight her brother and killing her little sister and her brother and create a creature (by a spell who needs her soul in a corrupted form + one body) who is the most powerful of her world with the quest of destroy the monsters and make humans bow to her creation (The creature is Bête Noire from Glitchtale).

What I mean is Reader/Darling had a child with them and lost a battle against them and years later came back corrupted and tries to kill them but in the end she needed to cast a spell who needs her soul jam + her soul to create a creature who basically is Bête Noire from Glitchtale

Eternal Sugar Cookie doesn't know what to believe when she sees you for the first time. You came back! But you're.. so different. You're so cruel and bringing out others' fears. She'd love it if it wasn't for you doing it against her too.. and that creature.. she doesn't understand! She doesn't! Something must've happened.. not that fight with her, right...?

Silent Salt Cookie and Burning Spice Cookie are very similar on their reactions. They're more than willing to fight you, but they just don't understand.

Silent Salt Cookie is more likely to try and reason with you. Surely this can't be because of the fight, right? Recall the monster, please!

Burning Spice Cookie enjoys the battle, but he's so confused. He doesn't get the fact that he's contributed to this. And what is that monster?!

Mystic Flour Cookie is all too aware of what this creature is and why you made it. That doesn't mean she isn't going to fight back, but she's so confused. She'll do what she can to reason with you, but she'll ultimately fight.

This is a twisted he wasn't expecting, but, hey, he doesn't mind it at all! Sure, he's a little confused, but this is a good material for his mischief. And hey, maybe he can borrow that monster, too?

Well this ask had me a little stumped I ended up having to just pick up traits and well random colors and traits

It's okay if you don't agree or have other ideas but I tried my best

Peppino

I was going with the obvious choice of Determination but I found Fear more fitting for him as I think his quest to the tower was driven by his fear of losing his business and everything he ever worked for, of course this is Fear as a soul trait not a spell as a former Glitchtale fan

Gustavo

He was just easy to pick tbh as he's the lovable guy yes he can kick ass but I think he's a kind hearted guy

Noise

Noise was tough to pick I was thinking about giving Determination or even passion as he's deeply dedicated to his acting and being the star After searching multiple Undertale Fan souls I found Audacity is the most fitting to him as he seems to be really arrogant and careless and would do anything to get what he wants disregarding anyone

Pepperman

Pepperman was sorta easy, I was at first thinking of going with Creativity but I thought again I decided to go with confidence, I would have picked narcissism but I think Confidence can go too far

Vigilante

I don't think I need to explain why I picked Justice for him

Noisette

Noisette was also tough to pick I ended up picking empathy, despite her being kind of annoying, she tries to be friendly with other people I'm personally not sure if it's the right choice

Pizzahead

Pizzahead was the hardest pick as I wasn't sure what would really fit him, I ended going with Passion, as he seems to be deeply dedicated and devoted to what he worked for , or maybe Determination was more fitting?

Fake Peppino

I don't know if clones can have souls , but I picked curiosity for him
