Bombardier global 7500 price
Tumblr media
Interestingly, Bombardier was able to find an extra 200 nautical miles of range prior to the release of the Global 7500, so there’s always a chance that the G700 will tell a similar tale. The G700 has a maximum range of 7,500 nautical miles, while the Global 7500 can fly up to 7,700 nautical miles non-stop. But if you’re looking for a winner, you’ll want to turn to the Global 7500. Both the G700 and the Global 7500 were built for long range trips, and there isn’t much a huge difference between the two. One of the biggest considerations when choosing any type of aircraft is knowing how far you can fly in a single trip. But shorter runways may open up more travel opportunities, depending on where you plan on going. This might not seem like much, given that the Global 7500 needs 5,800 feet of runway compared to the G700’s 6,250 feet of runway space. There’s a clear winner concerning takeoff distance: the Global 7500 needs 480 feet less runway space than the G700 to get airborne. Both models can carry up to 19 passengers comfortably, so no disadvantages there. The G700 can be outfitted to include five separate zones, compared to the Global 7500 that usually has a max of four zones. How big the space really feels also depends heavily on layout, and the G700 may have a leg up here. The cabin of the Gulfstream G700 is about 2.5 feet longer (56 feet 11 eleven inches compared to 54 feet 5 inches) and slightly taller and wider, but both options allow for plenty of movability and comfort. Cabin Sizeīoth the Global 7500 and the G700 are spacious, purpose-built business-class jets that left no room to complain about the lack of living space. However, even some billionaires will agree that $72.8 million is an easier pill to swallow than the $75 million sticker shock. Do the math and you’ll see that it’s just a 3% difference in price. At a glance, a mere $2.2 million might not make much of a difference when we’re talking about high-end aircraft. You can have your own Gulfstream G700 for a price of $75 million, while the Global 7500 comes in at $72.8 million. Here’s a closer look at the Bombardier Global 7500 versus the Gulfstream 7500: Purchase Price Still, it helps to put features and specs into perspective when you can compare the two side by side. Both models have an impressive flight range, speed, size, and on-board amenities, so truly you can’t go wrong either way. Though the Gulfstream G700 is newer compared to the Global 7500, that doesn’t necessarily make it the better aircraft. Big names like Bombardier and Gulfstream have made it particularly difficult to choose between so many amazing options, which is why it helps to compare them on an apples-to-apples level. At the time, the company cited unspecified “challenges” with the development of the plane, which was then known as the Global 7000.Which business jet will you choose for your next private air charter: the Bombardier Global 7500 or the Gulfstream G700?Ĭhoosing the best aircraft for your travels is no easy feat. In July 2015, Chief Executive Officer Alain Bellemare pushed back the Global 7500’s commercial debut by two years to the second half of 2018. Canada’s largest aerospace company needs the boost from the long-range plane as it grapples with $9.5 billion in adjusted debt and bond maturities starting in 2020. (Image: ) Bombardier is counting on the Global 7500 to generate at least $2.5 billion of annual sales by 2020 as the Montreal-based manufacturer trims its commercial-plane operations to focus on business jets and trains. The Bombardier Global 7500 has a luxurious interior. The company didn’t identify the customer. The Global 7500, which can fly nonstop from San Francisco to Singapore, has a list price of about $73 million. 20 to mark the entry into service of its newest aircraft, according to a statement Tuesday. The planemaker is planning an event near Montreal on Dec.

'It's the biggest night for British film in the calendar and, like clockwork, the BAFTA Film Awards are returning to Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London with a very special host.
Fresh off the back of the success of his return to Doctor Who, David Tennant will be hosting this year's BAFTAs, which will likely be another evening of unforgettable accolades recognising the stellar film talent of the past year.
Of course, Tennant was most recently on our screens as the Fourteenth Doctor in the very special slate of Doctor Who's 60th anniversary episodes, where he surprisingly "bigenerated" with Fifteenth Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa. While there are "no plans" for Fourteen to return to the Whoniverse, Tennant will be returning to our screens in this exciting new presenting capacity.
Aside from Doctor Who, Tennant is known for his starring roles in Prime Video's Good Omens, Broadchurch and in theatre productions of Much Ado About Nothing, Richard II, Hamlet, and, currently, Macbeth.
This marks the first time the Scottish actor has presented the inaugural honours event and commenting on the announcement of the news, Tennant said: "I am delighted to have been asked to host the EE BAFTA Film Awards and help celebrate the very best of this year's films and the many brilliant people who bring them to life.”
More recently, Tennant became the talk of last year's BAFTA TV Awards when he and Catherine Tate jointly presented the award for Features.
During the preamble before the presentation, fans of Tennant were shocked to learn that the acclaimed actor has never received a BAFTA nomination.
While Tennant has been nominated for BAFTA Scotland and Wales, he has not received a nomination from the main BAFTAs. Well, while this isn't a nomination, fans of the actor will undoubtedly be excited about his new BAFTA news.
Jane Millichip, CEO of BAFTA, also said: “We are over the moon that David Tennant will be our host for the 2024 EE BAFTA Film Awards. He is deservedly beloved by British and international audiences, alike.
"His warmth, charm and mischievous wit will make it a must-watch show next month for our guests at the Royal Festival Hall and the millions of people watching at home.
"The EE BAFTA Film Awards recognise exceptional films and the talented people who make them. More than 7500 of our BAFTA members – creatives from all corners of the British and global film industry – have been voting over the holidays and we will be publishing their chosen longlists later today.
"We hope it will inspire people to watch more films and encourage everyone to join in the conversation on who should win a BAFTA next month.”...
The big event itself, which Tennant will be at the helm of, will be held at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall in London on Sunday 18th February, being broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK.'

World Cities Day
World Cities Day is observed on October 31 every year. The aim of the day is to raise awareness about global urbanization and push for global cooperation in sustainable urban development. World Cities Day aligns with the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goal 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities — which deals with urban development sustainably. World Cities Day was announced by the U.N. in 2013 and has been observed every year since. The day brings to light the inequalities within the biggest cities in the world and pushes for greater social inclusion, including equality and access to services and opportunities.
History of World Cities Day
The first-ever cities appeared in the fertile crescent between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in a land known as Mesopotamia around 7500 B.C. These cities included Eridu, Ur, and Uruk. Soon, cities formed along the banks of the Nile River in Egypt, the Indus River in India, and the Huang He River in China. Cities grew in places with fertile soil, letting early humans abandon a more nomadic lifestyle. For the following millennia, cities continued to rise and fall across the world. Mesopotamia turned to rubble, the Indus Valley was deserted, and Rome rose and fell. But the institution of the city never went away.
Cities have been centers of trade, religion, culture, and education throughout history. However, the sheer scale of urban settlements today only became possible after the Industrial Revolution. The revolution drove people to cities in search of job opportunities in factories. Urban population growth has also been supported by technological advancements — these include the invention of steel, electricity conduction, elevators, etc. Over half the world’s population lives in cities now, and it’s more important than ever to make these people aware of how to sustainably co-exist within cities.
The U.N. has predicted that by 2030, there will be 41 megacities — cities with a population of over 10 million people. India, with its five megacities, is expected to house seven, other places that are bound to have megacities spring up include the likes of Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Congo.

A very good video to watch to understand the workings of Eurovision beyond the songs and performances. It's not just your ordinary music competition like Idol or The Voice.
What the executive supervisor Martin Österdahl mentions about Eurovision has become a platform for unknown artists to reach a global audience and the dream of an overnight breakthrough is all thanks to Loreen and Euphoria. As mentioned her win changed the contest forever and it wasn't just musically. It was stage performance-wise too. Euphoria was simple and minimalistic in a sea of chaos. It was just Loreen alone on a small podium on stage, a single spotlight on her, some snowflakes singling down from above and a dancer near end of the song.
The Euphoria story is really fascinating in terms of the conditions Loreen set to participate in Sweden's national selection Melodifestivalen aka Melfest or Mello. She wanted no involvement from Svt what so ever with creating the stage performance. They didn't get to see one bit of it until it was finished. She didn't want any disturbances in her creative process and no one interfering with the creative vision of what she wanted to do. When the work was done and Svt finally got to see it Christer Björkman said it'd never work in Eurovision. It was too dark and he didn't like the move famously known as the crab dance blah blah. He's later said he was happy to be proven wrong.
I admire her for she took the fight against Svt to preserve her vision and dared to follow what felt right for her. She didn't like their idea of stage performance. The other thing I admire is she refused to swap the dancer for Eurovision after she'd won Melfest. They were worried Europe wouldn't like he was a black man. Loreen was like "Hell no! He's coming with me!"
She's descendent from a line of strong women in her Berber family with roots in Morocco and you can tell that when she speaks her mind. She was the only artist in Baku 2012 who spoke about human rights in the country (within the competitions rules of course) and, on her time off, visited local human rights organizations among them an organization for women/a women's shelter. The other countries kept a low profile. After her win, Loreen donated 7500 dollars of her gage to different human rights organizations in Azerbaijan.

The Surge in Revenge Travel Among Americans
The surge in revenge travel among Americans
Have you heard of ‘revenge travel’? You may have taken part in the trend without even realizing it. The term cropped up in 2022, yet 2023 is set to see the term escalate further, with people seeking out more new adventures. Here’s a deep dive into what revenge travel looks like and the traveling patterns that are emerging off the back of it.
What is revenge travel?
In a nutshell, revenge travel refers to the surge of jet-setters going on holiday to another state or beyond. It comes off the back of the pandemic travel restrictions easing. Previously, people were a little more reluctant to go traveling when we were slowly creeping out of lockdown measures, with some places operating stricter rules than others.
By this point, now that measures are much less restrictive, people just want to let loose and jet off somewhere amazing. Plans are less likely to be canceled, so people are going all out. On top of this, those who haven’t traveled for a long while will be more tempted to splash out on a dream vacation – and we don’t blame them.
Why we are wanting to see more of the world
VistaJet, a private aviation company whose fleet includes the bombardier global 7500, has seen an increase in bookings. Figures for the first half of January 2023 alone saw a huge increase of 85% year-on-year and an increase of 140% compared to 2021. Is this setting the tone for what is to come in 2023? We suspect so.
Matteo Atti, VistaJet’s Chief Marketing Officer expands on the trends seen. "It’s time to celebrate our freedom to travel the world and make unimaginable and unforgettable memories. While 2022 was the year in which global travel became possible again, 2023 is the year in which Members are planning incredible getaways with friends, family, or even solo adventures."
Further findings showed that 2022 brought in a record growth of 50% in flight revenues, with clients lusting after bespoke experiences and unforgettable getaways.
“Following a rush of travel post-pandemic, to reactivate business and relationship links, we now expect clients to be more selective, placing high value on fulfilling experiences that fuel their thirst for fun, knowledge and personal growth in 2023.”
Clearly, those who are vaccinated are wanting to get as much from their travel experiences as possible.
Destinations we are adding to the bucket list
But which destinations are people most eager to visit? According to Forbes, a lot of traveling is domestic, with people remaining within the United States, but there are clear patterns of the types of locations chosen.
It appears that many of us what to get out in nature. Stats show that following the pandemic in 2021, mountain and lake destinations experienced a 44% increase in visitors, while coastal destinations and resorts saw a 42% increase across America. By contrast, urban city demand is down, with people favoring smaller towns or rural destinations instead.
These stats are likely to be even higher today, with the travel bug spreading fast across the population now that even more COVID-19 travel restrictions have come to an end. Are you part of the revenge traveling collective with plans to go all out this year? Let us know in the comments below!

Early morning arrival of this Bombardier Global Express 7500, HB-JIT. The Bombardier Global 7500 and Global 8000 are ultra long-range business jets developed by Bombardier Aviation (formerly Bombardier Aerospace). Announced in October 2010, the program was delayed by two years by a wing redesign. The 7500, originally named the 7000, made its first flight on November 4, 2016, was type certified by Transport Canada on September 28, 2018, and entered service on 20 December 2018. Based on the Global 6000 with a new transonic wing, and a cabin with 4 areas or "zones". The 7500 has a range of 7,700 nmi (14,300 km). The Global 8000 was initially a shorter three-zone aircraft, but was updated in May 2022 as a longer-range 7500, reaching 8,000 nmi (14,800 km) and to be introduced in 2025. Formerly named Global 7000, its entry into service was initially scheduled for 2016. The first test aircraft underwent taxi testing in October 2016.
