Where the Justice League (mostly focusing on the Superfam or Batfam or Flashfam) are large leviathan-esque creatures living on Planet 4546B. Maybe they can change forms due to Precursor experimentation, maybe not. Those with young hang out around the shallows more than the others, what with most of them being large super or specialized predators.

Enter Danny Fenton, interning on the Aurora when the ship is shot down by the Quarantine Enforcement Platform. Oh sure he probably would have tried to stop the destruction and help, but his ghost powers are a bit on the fritz and a well-meaning worker pushes him into one of the last life pods seeing as he's a child.

Now the leviathans may not know what a ship is exactly, but they can definitely understand that in most cases things technology = precursors. As far as they understand, a metal deathtrap not unlike the old labs or caches fell alongside several metallic eggs, with the emerging hatchlings misshapen and not living long.

But then there's the egg that landed in the shallows, which at first they thought was empty. But a hatchling- much smaller than the previous ones- emerges, a day later than the rest, but they're alive even if their swimming is all wobbly! It's so tiny, and obviously hatched too early with the strange split tail and how it keeps swimming to the surface for air, and they have to protect it! Now if only the little hatchling would answer their calls and not dart into hiding spots whenever they approach...

Honestly this is up to the writer lol, but I like to think that Danny's ghost form, when he finally manages to achieve it again, goes a little naga-esque. Almost like a sea snake instead of just a whispy ghost tail, which while better for swimming doesn't help his freak out over most ghost powers still not working.

Danny is just trying to survive man, maybe find other survivors, turn off this big alien gun, stop creating frost crystals when he sneezes, the usual. He doesn't need giant humanoid-esque leviathan-sized sea creatures poking around!

Oooo yeah another lamp in my series. Paper lantern theme. I have always loved the aesthetics of the lunar new year. I know it’s not even close to that time of year but I had to make it anyways.

Since my inbox trick-or-treating is one of the more boring ones, featuring mostly just Halloween sweets, look at my sweet Halloween decorations!

First off, my prototype! I was a little sad it didn't make it to Halloween (because online tips on how to get the pumpkin dry and lasting are utterly useless), but that said...

...I was very proud of how my first go at a face turned out! Very athmospheric, gotta say it. Plus a little halo bc the lid was shrinking XD

And this? Is tonight's arrangement. I ran through the entire neighborhood to steal pretty leaves and berry twigs from hedges because I just had to go over the top with this.

btw, tropical fruit peels dragon egg shells make for excellent tea candle jars.

Y'know, for all my party pooper-ism and my "that's an American holiday, I don't need to care" attitude - I do love the aesthetic. The combination of lively colors talking of harvest and blessings of the earth...

...combined with the eeriness of the dying year, the whisper of ghosts in the air which we have to beware...

kinda just deciding on their heights relative to each other. scrapper is pretty big for a slugcat, and current is taller but he's super scrawny. also been fiddling a lot with glint's design, i think im most happy with the bottom right one

It's these three again. Their parents must have a crazy amount of trust in them to act responsibly on Halloween.

I adore the Oseram aesthetic. All cosy warmth and solid wood and good, study iron. And beer, obviously. It speaks to me on a very deep, almost primal level. It says homesafetykinship.

Plus everyone knows I love glowy lights. And caged lanterns are a favourite.

I was playing with a cool colored under painting overlaid with warmer colors. A little tougher to do with a glowy-glowy subject 😅

Brand new ref for Mirah!! Her last ref was from late 2022 I think

At some point in her life, Mirah was modified by an iterator to have higher intelligence than a normal lantern mouse. Now as smart as a slugcat, Mirah realized that she hated the position she was at in the food chain. It decided that it had to fight to reach the top and finally have a peaceful life.

charging up: whisker tips, spots, & eyes glow

usually walks/runs on all 4s

stops glowing & turns gray shortly after death

The doodle in the upper left says "baby ver" and the one in the upper right reads "these things keep appearing..."

Clone with pumpkin DNA bc Halloween is nearly here!!!

Their tummy mouth is usually like the top images, but they can change it to any arrangement of teeth/mouth shapes, like the bottom images - the left being like a traditional Jack-o'-lantern smile, or the right being unsettlingly large human teeth

They also got glowy insides, meaning they probably have some DNA that causes bioluminescence, but I haven't thought that far yet - I just wanted to add to the Jack-o'-lantern theme hehe
