Simplified Summary :
When it comes to haircare, it truly does depend on each persons hair, no product is one fits all. If you like a product, and your scalp feels clean while your ends feel moisturized, continue use.
Healthy hair habits take priority over products. Keeping your scalp clean is number one, to do so depends on how often you wash. There is no right amount, it is okay to wash daily or weekly. If washing daily, use a shampoo that is lower in surfactants, aim for ones that say “okay for daily use”. If washing once a week, or twice, use one with higher surfactants (clarifying shampoo). If at any point your hair feels as if there is product buildup or the scalp is itchy use clarifying shampoo. number two is to condition frequently, you can condition before or after shampooing. It is helpful to pre-oil your hair 30 minutes prior to showering with coconut oil, coconut oil is the only oil proven to effectively enter the hair cuticle and can help protect against water damage. if you are going days without shampooing, spraying it with conditioning spray or oil on the shafts only is helpful. number three is small habits, dry your hair with a microfiber towel. keep shampoo only on the scalp and conditioner on the ends. squeeze out any excess water out prior to applying conditioner and let it sit for at least 2 minutes, longer if you can. use gentle hair ties and claw clips. put your hair in a protective style before bed. eat properly, get enough rest, and make sure you are hitting protein goals for biotin production. never brush your hair while it’s wet, and don’t over brush. use a leave in conditioner after washing, and avoid heat styling.
ingredients : shampoos and conditioners have a team of hair chemists formulating them carefully, so most haircare products are safe to use, but some are better based on added ingredients. ingredients like proteins, peptides, keratin, butters, oils, silicones, citric acid, glycerin, hyaluronic acid, lactic acid, and salicylic acid can improve hair. when choosing hair products, aim for ones that have these ingredients higher on the ingredient list
despite fear of silicones and sulfates, they are recommended by dermatologists and trichologists. the only ingredient you should avoid is formaldehyde. formaldehyde has different names, so avoid at all cost anything that says formaldehyde, methylene glycol, formalin, formic aldehyde, paraform, formol, formalin (methanol-free), FYDE, formalith, methanal, methyl aldehyde, methylene oxide, tetraoxymethalene, oxomethane, and oxymethylene. these are mainly found in special treatments and heat products, legally these can be called “formaldehyde free” if using it in a different form. (the ones listed above that are not verbatim “formaldehyde”)
affirmations
i love taking care of my hair, it’s so soft and fluffy. it never tangles and always is super shiny. it never breaks, my split ends always repair immediately. it grows so fast, inches every week. my hair smells so good and feels so bouncy ૮꒰ྀི⸝⸝> . <⸝⸝꒱ྀིა

Managing IBS After a Stressful Period and Gallbladder Removal: The Power of Supplements and nature
Living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) can be challenging, especially after experiencing a long and stressful period in life, coupled with the removal of the gallbladder. It took me two years to finally start managing the flare ups that have become my daily struggle in the past two years since i had my surgery. However, there is hope in managing IBS symptoms and finding relief. In this blog post, I will explore the benefits of specific supplements, such as omega-3, zinc, B-complex, B1, vitamin D, and magnesium citrate, and how they can help alleviate IBS flare-ups over time.
Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for overall health and have been found to have anti-inflammatory properties. In the context of IBS, omega-3 can help reduce inflammation in the gut, which is often associated with flare-ups. Incorporating omega-3 supplements into your daily routine can potentially improve IBS symptoms, such as abdominal pain, bloating, and diarrhea. Adding the omega in my supplement routine made a huge difference in my overall health. My gut is happy.
Zinc is a vital mineral that plays a crucial role in various bodily functions, including digestion and immune system support. Studies have shown that individuals with IBS may have lower zinc levels, which can contribute to worsened symptoms. By supplementing with zinc, you can potentially restore the balance and alleviate IBS-related discomfort. The pharmacist suggested it to me several months ago calling it the supplement of the future. It helps with the healing and inflammation and enhances the benefits the other supplements are providing.
B vitamins, particularly B-complex, are essential for maintaining optimal gut health. These vitamins help convert food into energy, support the nervous system, and aid in the production of healthy red blood cells. When it comes to IBS, B-complex vitamins can help regulate digestion, reduce stress, and improve overall gut function. The one bellow I found to be the best.
B1, also known as thiamine, vitamin B1 is a crucial nutrient that supports the nervous system and helps convert carbohydrates into energy. In the context of IBS, B1 can help alleviate symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, and digestive issues. By supplementing with B1, individuals may experience improved energy levels and reduced IBS-related discomfort. It is also very effective if you are diagnosed with SIBO.
Vitamin D is not only essential for bone health but also plays a role in immune function and inflammation regulation. Studies have suggested a potential link between vitamin D deficiency and IBS symptoms. By ensuring adequate vitamin D levels through supplementation, individuals may experience reduced inflammation and improved IBS symptoms. My doctor measured my vitaamin D levels which were a bit on the low side and supplemented me with 5000u of vitamin D.
Magnesium is a mineral that plays a vital role in muscle relaxation and nerve function. In the context of IBS, magnesium citrate can help alleviate constipation, a common symptom experienced by individuals with IBS. By promoting regular bowel movements, magnesium citrate can provide relief and improve overall gut function. The Magnesium Citrate is gentle on the stomach lining and thats why this is the one that is recommended.
Digestive enzymes play a crucial role in our overall digestive health. These enzymes are responsible for breaking down the food we eat into smaller, more easily absorbable molecules that our body can utilize for energy and nourishment. Without sufficient digestive enzymes, our body may struggle to properly digest and absorb nutrients, leading to various digestive issues.
Digestive enzymes can help alleviate the symptoms of IBS by aiding in the breakdown of food and improving digestion. They can help break down complex carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, reducing the strain on the digestive system and minimizing discomfort. Additionally, digestive enzymes can enhance nutrient absorption, ensuring that the body receives the necessary vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients.
There are different types of digestive enzymes, each targeting specific types of food molecules. For example, amylase helps break down carbohydrates, protease aids in protein digestion, and lipase assists in the breakdown of fats. By supplementing with these enzymes, individuals with IBS can support their digestive system and control the flare ups.
In addition to incorporating digestive enzymes there are also benefit from making dietary and lifestyle changes. This may include following a low-FODMAP diet, which eliminates certain types of carbohydrates that can trigger IBS symptoms. Regular exercise, stress management techniques, and adequate hydration are also important for maintaining a healthy digestive system.
In conclusion, digestive enzymes play a vital role in supporting digestive health, and they can be particularly beneficial for individuals with IBS. By aiding in the breakdown of food and improving nutrient absorption, digestive enzymes can help alleviate symptoms and improve overall well-being. However, it’s essential to work with a healthcare professional to determine the appropriate use and dosage of digestive enzymes, as part of a comprehensive treatment plan for IBS.
Psyllium is a soluble fiber derived from the seeds of the Plantago ovata plant. It is commonly used as a dietary supplement and is known for its ability to promote regular bowel movements and relieve constipation. In the context of IBS, psyllium can help regulate bowel movements, reduce diarrhea, and alleviate abdominal discomfort. The fiber in psyllium absorbs water in the intestines, adding bulk to the stool and promoting healthy digestion. Additionally, psyllium can help regulate gut motility and improve overall gut health, which can be beneficial for individuals with IBS.
Managing IBS after a long stressful period and gallbladder removal can be challenging, but incorporating specific supplements into your daily routine can make a significant difference. Omega-3, zinc, B-complex, B1, vitamin D, and magnesium citrate all offer potential benefits in alleviating IBS symptoms over time. However, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen to ensure it is safe and suitable for your individual needs. Remember, finding relief from IBS is a journey, and with the right approach, you can regain control of your digestive health and improve your overall well-being.
Remember, managing IBS requires a comprehensive approach that may include dietary modifications, stress management, and other lifestyle changes in addition to potential supplements or treatments.
Good luck.🪷

re: Your tags on my post about piranha solution. That acid is probably Hydrouflouric Acid if the paste in question is calcium gluconate. Do not touch it if you do not need it.
So I waited to answer this until I could check, and it is indeed hydrofluoric acid!
I also want to clear up a few things because I was fairly flippant in my tags.
I currently work in a small lab (under a much larger company) developing highly niche ceramic coatings. I mostly do measurement, modeling, and analysis. However, since the emphasis is on SMALL lab, I also help with specimen fabrication and prep, and contribute in a small way to formulation (namely on the specific components that most impact the properties I'm assessing).
We do take lab safety extremely seriously. I built this lab (and then left the team for a number of years, returning only a few months ago), and worked with our health and safety team to write most of the original safety procedures. I am deeply familiar with all the safety risks of the materials we routinely use in our work. Those materials do NOT include hydrofluoric acid. I have some educated guesses on why the former employee purchased it, but that's all they are--guesses. It doesn't belong here and has no place in our work, so we're working on disposing of it through proper channels in our workplace, and storing it properly in the meantime.
As mentioned, I'm not a chemist and I would never work with anything I didn't fully understand. That's why when I found it I immediately brought in my chemist co-worker. :)

I'm in wound care clinic today. For wounds with lots of tissue that's stuck to the wound, you can apply medihoney and then xeroform dressing on top.
For wounds with lots of drainage, apply Aquacel dressings and pt should elevated the area.
Vashe is a wound cleanser that can treat pseudomonas. One of the pts I saw today had a greenish looking wound, so the doctor asked the RN to put Vashe on the wounds. There's also Dakin's solution and Irrisept solution. You put the Vash on some gauze and soak it and let it stay on the wound for 15 minutes before dressing the wound.
Vashe - Vashe Wound Solution helps to cleanse the wound and accomplish the goals of wound bed preparation in a biocompatible, safe, effective, and natural way. This solution of hypochlorous acid (HOCl) acts as a preservative that inhibits microbial contamination within the solution. Vashe Wound Solution has the highest concentration of pure HOCl.
Dakin's solution - Dakin’s solution is a mixture of sodium hypochlorite (0.4% to 0.5%) and boric acid (4%) diluted in water. The boric acid (HȝBOȝ) acts as a buffering agent to maintain a pH of between 9 and 10, as alkalinity outside this range is found to be much more irritating. Boric Acid is also a mildly effective antiseptic. Irrisept - Irrisept is jet lavage containing low concentration Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) 0.05% in sterile water for irrigation. CHG acts as a preservative to help inhibit microbial growth in the solution.
The mechanical action of the Irrisept system removes particulate and debris. The unique bottle design allows users to control the delivery pressure of the solution through manual bottle compression. Grasping the bottle firmly, the user can control the direction and pressure needed to help remove particulate and debris.
OptiLock is good for wounds with lots of drainage.
OptiLock - OptiLock is a super absorbent polymer core dressing. It takes in a remarkable amount of wound fluid — even under compression — and locks it away to help prevent maceration. Even more, this wound dressing is non-adhesive, meaning minimal disruption to the wound and gentle, pain-free removal.
OptiLock can be used as a primary dressing on partial-thickness and full-thickness wounds, such as: pressure, venous or neuropathic ulcers; post-operative wounds; superficial or partial-thickness burns (first- or second-degree); lacerations; abrasions. OptiLock can also be used as a secondary dressing on full-thickness wounds.
Santyl is another product that works for stuck on tissue. It has collagenase, which breaks down tissue that is stuck to a wound. With its unique mechanism of debridement, Collagenase SANTYL◊ Ointment has been shown to help wounds progress toward closure through byproducts that contribute to the migration and proliferation of fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and endothelial cells.
SANTYL Ointment uniquely and actively debrides by cleaving necrotic tissue at seven specific sites along the denatured collagen molecule, unlike endogenous debridement that only works at one site.5,7 While this effectively removes barriers to healing, it also aids wound progression by creating polypeptide bioactive byproducts8-11 that have been shown to signal cells associated with closure.
Epifix - EPIFIX is a dehydrated human amnion/chorion membrane allograft. EPIFIX is SMR2T Technology (Selective Membrane of Reparative and Reconstructive Tissue) which provides a semi-permeable protective barrier that supports the healing cascade. The product protects the wound bed to aid in the development of granulation tissue and provides a human biocompatible extracellular matrix that retains 300+ regulatory proteins.
Saw a pt who had a wound that was on the bottom of his foot. It was like a slit and there was a lot of callus around it because the pressure on his feet when he walks would hit that area of his foot. The doctor removed the callus tissue because that will help it heal. When wounds are dry, they won't heal. You can put Hydrogel into a wound so it can be more moist and it will heal better than a wound that is dry and not healing. You can cover it with a non-adhering dressing called Adaptic. Adaptic dressing is more confortable to remove. Hydrogel may also be more comfortable for pts.

A bientôt

Does Chelated Zinc Increase Your Shield?
Zinc is a crucial nutrient necessary to the body in relatively a small amount, 20 milligrams or considerably less daily, in accordance with the body sizing. Elemental zinc is quite poorly assimilated together with your gut so in extra kind, it's often connected to a chelating consultant, and that is a ingredient that binds or grabs onto it and facilitates consumption.
Therefore, chelated zinc pinpoints elemental or atomic zinc mounted on another molecule, for instance picolinic acid. When inside your body, zinc is essential for solid immune respond to, advancement and handling circulatory system a myriad of sweets. Talk to your medical professional about whether you need to be supplementing with chelated zinc.
Chelated zinc is divided into two primary versions: natural acids and proteins. The all-natural acids that are usually connected to zinc consist of picolinic acid solution option, orotic acidity, citric acidity and gluconic acid solution solution. Aminos that happen to be commonly linked to zinc combine methionine, monomethionine and aspartic acidity option. Therefore, the manufacturers on dietary supplement boxes will study zinc picolinate, zinc gluconate or anything else.
Supplemental zinc can also be readily available mounted on inorganic acids, for example sulfates and oxides, however are not as standard or too assimilated. Zinc supplements might be present in tablets, water, pills and lozenges. Dissolving a chelated zinc lozenge with the mouth is a terrific method to approach the mineral.
The Countrywide Institutes of Well being suggests that women and men take in between 9 and 13 milligrams of zinc daily, based upon gender and whether you're planning on an infant or breastfeeding. This could be reliant on whole body sizing if you're a sizable particular man or woman, you will need at least 20 milligrams each day.
Zinc insufficiency is exceptional in the united states, but usually manifests as decreased sensations of style and scent, despression signs or symptoms, deficiency of encourage for food, progress failing in children and weakened amount of resistance.
Zinc toxicity is simply not well-known sometimes, but is considered to happen via intake of at the very least 40 mg in just a small amount of time. Warning signs of toxicity feature a bitter flavor within the mouth area region, queasiness,Amino Acid Chelate Zinc tossing up, cramping and bloody diarrhoea.
According to the Across the country Companies of Health, zinc is essential to have a healthful immune system system. Those people who are zinc lacking are typically vunerable to numerous bacterial infections, like the common cold and winter flu virus. That is why, health-related medical professionals sometimes advocate zinc health supplements to improve your general defense and avoid microbe microbe infections.
Nonetheless, utilizing chelated zinc lozenges or utilizing zinc sinus squirt around the 1st warning signs of health problems is not adequately seen to dramatically decrease the timeframe and significance of warning signs. Far more research is necessary to more effective know what types of additional zinc can be best against infections and harmful bacteria.
In line with the Linus Pauling Institution, zinc assumes many jobs within your body and may come in handy to prevent population-undefinedassociated macular harm, handling glucose levels, and decreasing the possibility of Type two diabetes mellitus and also the opportunity of microbe infections in HIV-afflicted sufferers. Even so, far more scientific studies are vital before defined recommendations can be produced.

Understanding Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria (KSB)
Potassium is an essential macronutrient for plant growth and development, playing vital roles in enzyme activation, osmoregulation, and stress tolerance. However, a significant portion of potassium in soils exists in forms that are not readily available to plants. This is where potassium solubilizing bacteria come into play. KSB possess the ability to solubilize insoluble potassium compounds in the soil, converting them into forms that plants can easily absorb and utilize.
Mechanisms of Action
Potassium solubilizing bacteria employ various mechanisms to make potassium available to plants:
Production of Organic Acids: KSB produce organic acids such as gluconic acid, citric acid, and oxalic acid, which chelate or dissolve insoluble potassium minerals, releasing soluble potassium ions into the soil solution.
Secretion of Hydrolytic Enzymes: Some KSB species secrete enzymes such as phosphatases and proteases, which break down organic matter and release bound potassium for plant uptake.
Ion Exchange and Mineral Weathering: KSB can alter soil pH and facilitate ion exchange reactions, promoting the release of potassium from mineral surfaces and increasing its availability to plants.
Benefits of Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria
Improved Nutrient Uptake: By solubilizing insoluble potassium reserves in the soil, KSB enhance potassium uptake by plants, leading to improved growth, yield, and quality of crops.
Reduced Fertilizer Dependency: Enhanced potassium availability through microbial solubilization reduces the need for external potassium fertilizers, thus lowering production costs and minimizing environmental pollution.
Enhanced Stress Tolerance: Potassium plays a crucial role in plant stress responses, and KSB-mediated potassium nutrition can enhance plant resilience to various abiotic and biotic stresses, including drought, salinity, and disease.
Soil Health Improvement: The activity of potassium solubilizing bacteria contributes to soil aggregation, organic matter decomposition, and nutrient cycling, leading to improved soil structure, fertility, and long-term productivity.
Applications in Agriculture
Biofertilizers and Soil Amendments: Commercial biofertilizer formulations containing potassium solubilizing bacteria are available for inoculating seeds, seedlings, or soil to enhance potassium availability and promote plant growth.
Crop Rotation and Soil Management: Incorporating potassium solubilizing bacteria into crop rotation systems and soil management practices can replenish soil potassium reserves, particularly in potassium-deficient soils.
Precision Agriculture: Utilizing precision agriculture techniques, such as variable rate application of microbial inoculants, allows targeted delivery of potassium solubilizing bacteria to areas with low potassium availability, maximizing their effectiveness.
Conclusion
Potassium solubilizing bacteria represent a promising avenue for sustainable agriculture, offering a natural and eco-friendly solution to enhance potassium availability in soils and improve crop productivity. By harnessing the potential of these beneficial microbes through targeted application strategies and integration into holistic soil management approaches, farmers can optimize potassium nutrition, reduce environmental impact, and foster resilient and productive agroecosystems.
