The blog is on hiatus- oh no!

Why?

It is with a heavy heart that I must admit, this blog does not really reflect my interests anymore. BG3 will always have a special place in my heart, but my hyperfixation has faded, and what was once a labor of love has become just a labor. I have a lot going on in my life, and my energy needs to be focused on real life now instead. This experience has been interesting, and I'm happy so many people had so much fun with it- friendships were forged, laughs were had, self discoveries were made- all fun stuff! And I will always cherish that part of it, and appreciate all the support and enthusiasm my followers had in keeping this a positive and compassionate community space.

What will happen with the blog now?

For now, the blog is going to be inactive indefinitely. There is a slight chance I will resume my duties someday, but I doubt it. I am open to a worthy successor I could hand the torch off to- if someone wants to become admin of this blog, I might consider that. If someone wants to start their own blog from scratch, I'm happy to donate my screenshot files to give them a head start. I would also consider giving them the unposted confessions I have left, although I'm not sure if you all would be comfortable with them being posted on a different blog? I'm also happy to give pointers and insight on what works and doesn't work with running a blog like this. If someone is interested, feel free to dm @bananastarion . If no one wants to take the helm, I might post the remaining confessions in text form just so they still get to be seen.

What about the discord community?

Since that takes less effort to run, the discord community will remain, but it will remain private.

And with that, I'm sorry to ruin the fun out of the blue like this, it definitely wasn't an easy decision to make. I'm sorry I never got around to implementing all the plans and activities I had in store for you. But this is the right decision for me. I hope we can respect and understand that. So long folks, even if this blog doesn't continue, the spirit of it remains burning bright in all of you throughout the fandom. Keep on being yourselves and let that freak flag fly. The blog will remain as an archive for a little slice of time when people from all around the world came together to uh... come together.

I finally found my balance. I still enjoy Tumblr just differently now. I love finding pics for my blog that fit and I have some great friends on here, but I no longer live in here and guess what ... I'm wayyyyy happier & mentally healthier both here and in real life! :) It's hard to break the addiction of this place. I hope you find your balance too!

examining a seemingly normal image only to slowly realize the clear signs of AI generated art.... i know what you are... you cannot hide your true nature from me... go back where you came from... out of my sight with haste, wretched and vile husk

Thank you to all 2,792 of you guys (plus everyone in my activity chart area…) for following, enjoying, and tolerating LiveLoveWRITE for all of these years (as of 5 January 2023, it’s been 13 years since I joined Tumblr! Wow!) down various fandom rabbit holes, through The Great Tumblr Purge of December 2018 (which didn’t work properly to nobody’s surprise. JUST DELETE THE PORN BOTS, PEDOPHILES, AND THE NAZIS, YOU IMBECILES! PROBLEM SOLVED FOREVER.), through the latest change of owners (I give it 6 months to a year before they give up on their “investment” and leave with their tail tucked between their legs…) and my ongoing evolution into a color blog.

I would also like to give a very special shout-out to The Walking Dead/Richonne/Carnid folks who have welcomed me with open arms into their post apocalyptic world (what’s left of it after all the absolutely EXCELLENT writing…), the GOTHAMITES who have welcomed me as a lifelong citizen (the show may be over now but Gotham will always be my home!), and as always, mad love to all of the Gladiators who still follow me despite the show (mercifully!) being over and those who keep enjoying my mashups on here and my ongoing efforts at clever (usually not, but it’s funny 9 times out of 10…) live and before/after the show commentary on Twitter for both old and new fandoms. The acceptance from everyone makes things infinitely more fun around here! Here’s my favorite owls and some other appropriate pics and here’s to at least a thousand more!

hi!! so this isn't actually the case as while gourdy was briefly mentioned in a trial, said trial had nothing to do with whether or not gourdy was "real" per se as much as. well. murder, actually. while gourdy WAS found out to be an inflatable steel samurai this was not brought up in the case at all as the veracity of gourdy wasn't really as relevant as the fact that the witness was looking for gourdy rather than at the murder she claimed to have seen. plus this was also a relatively small part of a MUCH larger trial which for those interested not only solved the dl-6 case but ALSO marked the end of prosecutor von karma's ~40 year long record and the court records are really a fascinating read through!!
