Wow I finally watched John Wick 4

A man who only wanted to Love.

A man who fought for what was right, for the freedom of those who deserved it.

And when he finally got his freedom, he could finally step down and lay himself to rest.

After his love was already taken away from him, he wasn't about to let just anyone take his life away from him.

But he couldn't lay down until he let those know what they'd taken away from him, until they felt his pain.

Now he had paid his dues, ensured only those deserving to live, did.

He is now free to simply be a Loving husband.

As he wants to be forever known as.

Because that's all that mattered to him in this world of pain and suffering.

To Love, to care and to protect those around that matter most to him.

And that's what he did.

Until his very last breath.

There's conflicted feelings on this ending, John deserved so much more than to go through all of that and die at the end of it.

But I think what matters is what John wanted.

And I think this is the ending he would have chose for himself, so he did.

That's pretty beautiful.

so when Andi and Blanc are in the gym on the island and the bit with Serena Williams happens, i noticed that when they stop talking to her, she stays unfrozen, but starts reading a book.

Love how Into the Spider-Verse completely reimagined animation as an art form, and then other things started to try to catch up and just to put them in their place Across the Spider-Verse did it AGAIN and was even MORE of a spectacle

I’m rewatching Rise of the Planet of the Apes series for like the 10th time because it is my comfort series

Like, it’s so wildly good. People clown on it because it’s such a silly concept. Apes get super smart while a virus wipes out over half the population and then the apes go to war with the remaining humans? So silly

But y’all have no idea how deeply you can care for Caesar if you haven’t seen the movies. The emotional bond you from with this CGI ape played by the guy who also did Gollum is unmatched in my opinion. Caesar as a character was an instrumental part of these remake movies; they never could have worked as well as they did if it wasn’t for him and how WELL Andy Circus did, like good god.

Idk, I’m just in love with these movies. Yes the idea is silly but the execution is phenomenal. You care so deeply for the apes, especially Caesar. And hell, you even care for the humans in the second movie too, which I find rare when you mix humans and animals as protagonists.

Idk idk idk Caesar is my favorite fictional character of all time Idk
