Wow I Finally Watched Don't Worry Darling
This movie was...satisfying.
You begin watching this perfect life. Perfect Marriage, Perfect Social life, Perfect House, Perfect Job.
But it all seems a little too perfect.
Then suddenly, There will be a small shift in this perfect world. Something will change, There will be a speck of hesitation, An Egg with no yolk and you'll notice it instantly because all you’ve been given so far is perfection.
Then it hooks you in.
This world is too perfect, So whats the catch? That's what the world has taught us, When things are too good to be true, They are. Right?
From there, Oh Boy you're in for a ride.
This movie shocked me, It surprised me, But most of all - A favourite of mine, It made me gasp so many times unexpectedly.
By the end of it, In the last 30 minutes specifically, My phone was lost to my room, The outside world had completely fallen away and I was hunched over inches from my screen, Hands covering my mouth to stifle my gasps at 1am while we finally got the ultimate satisfaction of finding out the secret behind perfection.
If you want a movie thats going to take you in one direction, then suddenly jerk you in another, Then suddenly spin you 360 degree so much so you dont remember where perfection begins and reality ends. Because you're not given the answers and watching these characters squirm, You're discovering everything at the exact same time as Alice.
You feel like you're living your best life with her. You feel like you're going crazy with her. You feel like you're escaping with her. You feel like you can't breathe as you're getting squished by the glass suffocating you into silence, Until suddenly "reality" sets in, making you wonder what's truly real at all.
If only we all knew what "real" truly meant.
Also i just have to note that the final song when Alice is driving away is PERFECTION! The best choice ever.
***SPOILERS AHEAD***
That ending.
It went from a world run by men (Except for one poor, gorgeous soul) thinking they could control the world, But they underestimate the power of women. Whether in a collective or one on their own, Never underestimate the power of a woman.
That one final strike of the Shelley, Who was truly in charge, That made me gasp the loudest out of the whole movie.
And even though it may not have been me weilding that blade, It made me feel powerful.
Never settle for contempt. Never settle for just fine. Never settle for anything but the life you deserve to live and the life you want to live. Whether thats a quiet life, A Travelling life, A family life, A single life, A life working your ass off and dancing all the worries away.
Never let anyone make that decision for you.
To suddenly find out that the man we've learnt to trust, learnt to love, learnt to admire has forced us into this perfect box? And the fact hes not the only man or woman that's done this.
It's one thing to choose that life for yourself, It's another to do something out of Love and wanting the best for your relationship, But there is never an excuse to take away someones free will.
But when we found out this world isnt even REAL?! It's all in their melded HEAD?!
When Bunny said "When you Kill someone in here, They die in real life." I could not think straight for a solid few minutes realising what that meant.
Absolutely mindfucked.
Then the ending is finally here, You feel like you're escaping this world with Alice and seeing her real future, You're on the edge of your seat awaiting to see the other side of those heavy breaths.
But we never get to see.
While this movie is satisfying, It doesn’t give you that final satisfaction that tips you over the edge of your choice of seat all together. But there's something special when a movie, The right movie, does that.
Did Alice wake up in bed with her, now dead, husband beside her? Were they even married in real life? What sustanence do their bodies truly gain while away? Is what the men do everyday leave that digital world, Keep things running in the real world, then come back "home"? Did Alice go to prison for her crimes? Or did she stand in her kitchen alone once more, Freedom in her heart, Mind and soul as she moves her body along to the music without a care in the world.
What happened with all those living in that world without the will to do so? Did Shelley start a revolution? What were the consequences of this uproar in the real world? Did this digital world collapse or did those that wanted to stay, stayed and those that wanted to escape, Go?
Questions can be asked forever, But I love that everyone can interpret this ending how they want.
Or I may have missed the point of the ending all together, Who knows! That's the incredible things about Film, Everyone has a different way of watching, experiencing and enjoying a film.
I knew this movie was going to be a psychological joyride, But I truly didnt expect such a turn of events as this.
I would love to watch this again now knowing what happens, Because I can just imagine there's so many more details that I missed.

Wow I Finally Watched Eric
Unlike our regular scheduled programming of me finally watching a show / movie that's been out for a long time and I'm finally sinking my teeth into it, This is a new show that just came out and I don't know why, but I instantly felt drawn to it.
Actually, I do know why.
Why is Benedict Cumberbatch standing there with a giant furry monster next to him?
I was hooked from there.
It starts off like every childs dream, imagine getting to witness one of your favourite shows first hand and your parent being in the centre of it all? Living the dream right?
Until you fall away from that perfect picture and reality falls into place. Then we all see a story that too many people relate to on an intimate level.
And Children will see whats happening right infront of them and will have a far better understanding of situations, words, circumstances and relationships than we give them for.
Children see so much kindness and Hope, We need to be adults and make sure they can hold onto that for as long as possible. Otherwise, They're going to try take the reigns and escape into a world where there's No fighting, No harsh words and do what they feel is best for themselves.
And then there are some that get taken from us too soon. Where their good heart, Hope for the future, Respect for their home and their people are taken advantage of for the most horrible, Disgusting and incredibly terrible reasons. Where they don't get a choice, They don't get to keep that hope, that light, That childhood. They not only don't get to be a kid anymore, But they don't get to live at all.
But do you know what I think this cores show is really about?
If you know something, so deeply in your heart, and you believe it without question or hesitation, Go after it. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, Because no one else can do what you can do.
Even if it tracks you through the mud, It lets you see the bright blue sky, People may lose faith in you but through it all, You know what you're doing is the right thing to do and in the end it will pay off.
Through that experience you’ll find out things about yourself, Meet good people, Bad people and people just trying to survive. You'll bring justice to those that were wronged, Respect to a life that was taken too young and make sure those that bring disgust to a force that's meant to protect. You may even confront your own fears and see your true colours.
You may finally get to let go of your greifs of the past and live your truest and best self.
And yes, Wouldn't it be best to skip all that and get to the happy ending? But then you'd be missing the whole point.
Sometimes, Not always, Life is better for going through it.
(This does not apply to all situations, This is just in context of the show and some experiences in life, No one deserves to be treated like shit, Used or taken advantage of in fiction or real life whether personal or situational growth comes from it or not. Some people can just be really fucked, Deserve to be punished and not forgiven)

Wow I Finally Watched Hazbin Hotel
This show is the meaning of Family you choose.
They may not be perfect, They may be a little weird, Stabby even, in their own special ways. But they're your family and you wouldn't trade them for anything in the whole entire world and you would use your every breath of your life to fight for theirs.
Something I loved about this show and their characters is while they all had their own storylines, They all came together in one cohesive story, But what did they all have in common?
No matter what Hell continues to throw at you, Challenges you face, People that kick you down - They get back up and face the new day, Some with a smile on their face.
While they do have their cohesion, Everyone is still so extremely different. No two characters are the same. Whether in looks, personality, Backgrounds or even the way they represent themselves - The time and effort that's been taken to create whole looks, personality's, The way they walk, The way they talk, The way they sing and even the way they chime into the conversation - Everything has been thought about and tailored to their specific character and I fucking adore that.
And while they're all very different beings who show their affections in many different ways - Some loud and proud without shame, Some more intimately, Some hide their past in fear of losing their Love they've come to care for so deeply, Some by listening, Some by helping others, Some by sacrifice and some by cleaning or making crowns of cockroaches.
But it doesn't mean their love doesn't come from the same place.
This show proves even when your back is against the wall, The odds are against you, When you care about something, People, Your future enough - Nothing can stop you.
I truly have fallen in love with this show and I love with all my heart that even with those that support you and those against you, In Hell and In real life, Nothing will ever stop you from achieving something that will impact the lives of millions for the better.
Because that's how the show began, Right?

Monsters at Work Characters and what they represent
Tylor: Going through hardships to realise what truly matters, Who you want to surround yourself with and what you believe in, Even if it may not be exactly what or who you planned for yourself
Val: Continuing to show up and be grateful for your friends, Your family, Your job, Your life and most importantly - Yourself - with excitement and positivity.
Fritz: Never being afraid to show your Love and affection for those you truly care about and taking serious care and responsibility for the job you've been given, especially when it comes to your team.
Roger Rogers: Not letting anyone, even family, hold you back from your dreams and what you believe in. Also forgiving someone (if they deserve it) when they've realised their mistake and re-building that relationship.
Duncan: Portrayel of hard exterior who says they only care about themselves but in reality they have a soft inside and do care about their weird little family (Example A: Love for his mother) (And Gilfs) (A classic we adore) (ALSO THE MANAGER POSITIO-)
Cutter: Never let anything stand in the way of what you know, what you deserve and what you love. (even if it's over some Pulpy orange juice)
Mike and Sulley: You don't need qualifications, A degree, To 'know someone' or be a part of the popular crowd - You just need a Dream, Determination and hard work. They literally started from the mail room and now they run the company. If that's not 'Starting from the bottom now we're here' then I don't know what is.
George Sanderson: 2319!!!! I REPEAT- 2319!!!!!

Wow I finally watched Monsters at Work (S2)
**Minor Spoilers**
This show is Joy. This show is happiness.
This show is pure enjoyment, forget-about-the-world-around-you fun and indulging in a world full of adventures, Jokes and references to an original movie we hold dear to our hearts, While paving the way for a beautiful new story about a dynamic duo changing the colour of their world and the human world one child at a time.
I think there was a lot of risk, As with any sequel / spin off, of repetitiveness and overall the continuation of the story just not doing well.
But Monsters at Work was perfect.
(In my eyes - You do not have to agree with me, I just want to show my appreciation and love for this show and Story)
This show provided more of the future we've all been so curious about since the end of Monsters Inc (We all knew things worked out with Laugh Power - But did it really?) (Yes, Yes it did.) and the changes it made to the city and their communities as a whole - The politics, The power company's rivalry's, How people feel about laugh power, All of our favourite characters, All of our most disliked characters and so so much more.
They balanced giving a nod to the past, Making references to those original movies between og characters as if they're inside jokes (Which I guess, they are), Seeing characters we love and adore, Seeing scenery that is comforting and familiar, Even items (BOO'S DRAWING ON SULLEY'S DESK - I'M NOT OKAY-) without it being in your face and making it the whole show. Mike and Sulley being a part of the future of this company and caring for their little misfits, without overbearing and letting these new characters shine and share their own stories - It was perfectly balanced.
I love what this show represented as well - Different cultures and races in the human world and monster world, Different couples / sexualities without making it a big fuss (They're just in a happy relationship - That's what matters!), Healthy relationships and really great traits like embracing who you are, Always stand up for what you believe in, Never hesitate to show your Love for the things and people you care about and so much more!
Something I also loved is the representation of the real and healthy relationship between Val and Tylor - And the fact this didn't turn into a romantic relationship.
The first season was about building the foundations of their friendship and really getting to know each other - The second season really tested their friendship and saw to how they would get through these rocky times together.
While there were some moments of heartbreak, sadness and even anger - With communication, Responsibility and ackowledging what they had done, They got through it and came out the other side of it with their bond even stronger than ever! Which I think is something super healthy and important to represent.
And while I see there are a few hints here and there that could definitely lead to a Third season, Which halfway through episode 10 I literally said I would sell my soul for a third season, Once I had finished that final episode, My mind had changed.
The ending of Season 2 was perfect.
It was happy. It was fulfilling. And while I'd be one of the first to hop on Disney plus if a Third season did come out - I feel like they could stop the show here if they wanted to.
I could watch this show forever and ever and ever if I could, But we've all seen what happens when a show continues simply for profit etc. and it loses what that original story is about.
But on the other hand, they have a whole world of Monsters stories and cities to explore that we've only scratched the surface of.
And you never know what might be coming in the future.
All in all, I absolutely adored this show with all my heart and soul and I will forever talk about how perfect (in my personal opinion) it is.
Also there will forever be some references that will never get old.
Example A: Mike getting covered by logo / barcode etc
Example B: Roz (Period. She has so many good ones)
Example C: Boo. (Anything really, I just love their relationship)
100000000000000000000000000000000000000 x infinity / 10
I love you Monsters Inc world. Thank you for making me feel protected and Loved, Even if I couldn't be apart of your world.
And don't forget, This show wasn't made just for kids.
Oh no.
It was made for those Monsters Inc kids, now all grown up.
(And for everyone and anyone!)

Wow I Finally Watched Sunshine
What happens when you put Cillian Murphy and Chris Evans in close confinement on their way to send a bomb into the sun?
Did I mention the incredible Michelle Yeoh and Benedict Wong are apart of these space shenanigans?
Have I gotten your attention of this very underrated movie yet?
Sunshine came out in 2007 and I had never once heard or seen anything of this movie until a few days ago, While I was innocently scrolling through Disney+, This movie appeared.
Now, Being a huge fan of Chris Evans for many years and recently diving into the work of Cillian Murphy, I was already hooked.
But then you tell me this is a Sc-fi Psychological Thriller set in space?
NOW I REALLY AM HOOKED.
But this isn't just a 'For the scares and spooks' of space travel that film often portrays, This is a film ahead of it's time. A story that could be told in any year, Because this will always be relevant.
This movie makes you think.
What is beyond the stars? What would you do in these humanity-testing scenarios? What would you do when you've come face to face with not only the surface of the sun, but also your own heart?
A movie that questions your own humanity, A movie that has made you feel something so real that it makes your chest feel tight as if you're in that scenario, As if you're apart of a team with these people by your side day in and day out - That is a job well done.
While this movie did take a little bit to get into, it builds the suspence of what's really going on here. But everytime you think you'll look away, you reach for your phone - The movie does something that makes you need to rewind and go "Did they really just say that?"
And when you reach that moment.
There's no going back.
This movie was so incredibly different than anything I've experience for a while and As a thorough enjoyer of the Sci-fi genre in all different forms, This was a truly pleasant surprise.
***Please be cautious minor spoilers in the tags***
***Please read the content warnings of this movie before watching, it can depict scenes that may trigger some individuals***

Wow I Finally Watched Madame Web
*Spoiler Free* *Please keep in mind this is my personal thoughts and feelings, Just wanting to share love for stories, I am always open to discussions / being proven wrong / etc - It's what the internet is all about, just don't be an asshole about it :)*
This movie is a great start to a story that will flourish into many stories, It is the first step into a large staircase of a future filled with empowering characters that this generation and the future generations can look up to.
This movie has included representation of different cultures, roles, Heartbreaking issues we still face to this day and showcasing realities for a lot of teens instead of portraying the 'perfect home life' and the wish for an escape, to get away from that reality.
I'm also quite a softy for the 'Emotionally unavailable main character persists they don't have room in their heart for more but suddenly they have to look after these children and now they would give their life for them and hurt anyone that even breathed near them' trope
At the end of the day - Dry Humour, Loveable Characters, Another storyline the MCU can shed light on and bring to the mainstream world, What more could you want?
But I feel this movie would have done a lot better as a show.
It would have had more time to go through each individual storyline. Getting to find out more about Cassie's life growing up, getting to where she is now and her own mother. Seeing more of her travel to Peru and connecting to her heritage there, Where it all started. Getting to see more of the girls backstory's (I understand we'll probably see them in the future, but to fulfill that connection further now at this point and time would be amazing, making us long for another movie etc). Everything felt like they got only half of their stories really shown - I understand Marvel is good for setting up the future, But I feel there could have been more time put into opening up this new storyline for the MCU and letting us take more time to connect to these characters.
In also saying that, I absolutely love all of them and would do anything for them. Especially Ben, I'm number 1 Ben protector I love him.
From a technical side of Film making, I'm still taking some time to understand it. I'm not a Film maker (yet) but I do love studying films and I hope to one day be able to indulge in the world a little more officially, But the way this movie was actually filmed intrigued me.
This feels like one of Marvel's more Drama (+ Dry humour of course) focused movies. It has that character, that heart, but this story, the stories within it and the reason for Cassandra becoming Madame Web to begin with, Her origin, The villain - It leans a little more on the Drama and darker side of things.
I think that's why the sudden quick zooms, whether on someone's face or an action shot felt a little out of place. In this day and age, those type of shots are normally attributed with Comedy shows like Brooklyn Nine Nine, The office etc. but in saying that - Who says that's all they should be related to?
Just because something is different doesn't make it automatically bad.
I think a huge part of Film making is pushing the boundaries and taking chances, Otherwise how do you know what might happen?
It is also hard to portray the abilities Cassie has without making things messy or complicated, I honestly think they did it really well! You could tell when Cassie came back to reality, but in that moment of her vision, you couldn't tell the difference. This may seem confusing, but it's actually quite clever. It sucks you in, You're on that ride with Cassie as she's figuring things out, Just like she is.
When it comes to camera shots going from Drama, Action, Zoom ins and different angles, It could have been a little smoother. But that's from a viewer standpoint, At the end of the day I am not an expert and I don't know the reasons behind each shot. I would be intrigued to see how I would feel watching it again, now that I know the story and understand what's happening, whether anything would change?
I think with more screen time, this movie would have been even better, and while it's not my favourite Marvel movie (Sorry guys, I'm a big softie for the Og movies or pretty much anything that involves Captain America, Moon Knight, Zemo or Korg or...Okay I just love the whole franchise) I would watch it again and am excited to see what the future holds for this story!
With all the set ups we've been getting for the next phase, it's all very exciting.
Also Dakota Johnson is absolutely gorgeous so that's an instant win.
I can't wait to see the future this story holds.

Details are everything in the Saw Franchise, These movies continue to prove that over and over again.
One Example I came across that I particularly Love, It's nothing Major, But I do love it.
In Saw I, In that iconic bathroom, John is facing Adam.
Now you may wonder, Why does this detail matter so much? This could have been a decision made with the roll of a die.
But that would be giving this whole franchise a dis-justice. Because every detail has meaning.
John knows Dr. Lawrence, He's one of his Cancer patients - He's one of the people he "Give's bad news to everyday". Whether Dr. Gordon knows John's face like he's an old friend, Whether it's one of the hundreds of faces he sees everyday, We don't know their routine and we don't know how well Dr. Gordon remembers a face, Remembers a name - Remembers a diagnosis.
But Adam doesn't know John.
But that leaves a question, Would Lawrence have recognised John if he was faced his way?
There's no real reason for bringing this up, no enlightening discovery this leads to, I just thought it was an interesting little detail I thought John would put some thought into.
