My First OC

Tagged by @natacular I totally didnt forget about this also idk if shes my first oc but shes one of em, I dug around for an old drawing of her but unfortunately I couldn't find one :^(

Anyway heres my redraw of my gremlin girl her names mizuki and I love her

Shes an oc for avatar the last airbender!! I made her in grade 8ish and she has the most like... OCtm backstory ever but like here goes:

She grew up on ember island, and when her mom was pregnant w her she got very, very sick. Like near-dead sick. Her parents prayed to every spirit they could think of, including the ocean. On the night of her birth her dad was taking her mother on a walk on the beach, hoping the sea air would do her some good, and her mother ended up going into labour. As she delivered the baby alone (her father ran to get help) she found herself pleading with the ocean to let her, to let her baby live. And the ocean looked upon her kindly and she delivered a healthy baby and named her Mizuki (for water and hope if I remember correctly lol I had just learned abt Japanese names, grade 8 was Full Weeb Time). Originally in my design Mizuki had dark blue hair and silver eyes, but I ditched that bc its fucking crazy hahaha. Now she just has piercing blue eyes, which is enough to set her apart from everyone else in the fire nation. But the ocean blessed her with more than just life and blue eyes, at a very young age she discovered that she was a waterbender, which freaked the hell out of her parents. They made her promise to never do it outside of their home, so she practiced in solitude in the basement(pictured above), getting pretty much as good as you can get when ur self taught and have no way of testing your abilities.

Anyway yeah all the drama in her story was Mizuki trying to hide her bending from the rest of the tight-knit community of island locals. Things got especially tense when Zuko, Azula and crew came to visit.

Mizuki loves music, and she works as a lifeguard on the beach! Overall shes pretty clumsy but she loves to help people and she loves the ocean w her whole got damn heart. She also has really messy hair at all times and has a really casual way of speaking. So yeah that's Her.
