#loscar #logan sargeant #ls2 #oscar piastri #op81 #and now starts the rant #my fave detail is probably tge eye. there few beads like this and they were laying around until my friend said that they look loscar relate #so o started making making whole thing around that bc in my opinion it's genius (also sorry this is gonna have extremely long tags bc i had #run out of them once. maximum is 30 apparently)#I'll go by lains from here so first obviously eagle. i think it's hilarious and what's even funnier is that i bought those charms before #even knowing who Logan was. just for shit and giggles #also to coala i added a bead on top to somewhat match the height #also i love mixing up their colours bc I'm insane about that. how they ideal negatives of eachother and how orange fits logan while blue-os #so i also mixed it up with those animals charms and their attachments here #next stop - oscar lane. there not a lot of black which is bas but at least last heart is actually black. beads above it represents eyes #(you can see with doodles) and next one is for his hair but i couldn't find how to show it #and round see through bead i use for his helmet bc it shines with red yellow and blue #middle part - i talked about the eye but also beads above it. i tried to match tones so they won't clash #then fish and i love that it's in form of heart bc i associate both of them with water so much i needed something here #and bead underneath that is for Logan eyes ofc. for doodles there tried to use brown so oscar would have blond/logan brown but didn't work #AND READ HEART. “-WELL IT'S NOT YELLOW” “PREMA RED THEN?”#as you can see I'm totally normal about their prema times plus i love how it stands out with everything else and can be read as #usual meaning of red hearts. also made out of corals so it fits them too #and last but not least - Logan my beloved #first and foremost STARS #I added as much as humanly possible party bc of American meme party bc i fucking love stars and associate him with them #also added all williams shades of blue and even white so it covers all that #okay no I lied a bit bc i used a button for their dark blue #another thing i would like to mention is metal ring bc it has extremely small hearts on it that you need to look for to notice #I HIT LIMIT FUCK.last thing to say is how I tried to play with circles in middle of every lane. okay goodbye

Across the table, Nino sighed, a pointed look over his glasses. “Adrien, what,” he said flatly, already knowing the answer.

Alya simply rolled her eyes.

Adrien beamed, raising his and Marinette’s already joined hands over the table. The smile made his words lilt at the ends. “She said yes,” he replied, emphasizing their matching charm bracelets with a shake and a lovelorn sigh. “We’re dating.”

Nino’s face held all the exhaustion of an older brother. “So you said. Thirty times.”

i am handing in my b.a. thesis (on motherhood in gothic fiction) in a few short days and though i have been complaining about having to write it for six months straight, right now i am actually feeling bereft of future opportunities to write academic papers about my silly little interests. for instance right now i really want to research & write about dracula daily & genre & the impacts of the newsletter format on the narrative (the addition of a timeloop)

i think about format and the specifics of narration a lot when i'm writing my own little things and i loooove when the narration - not just the narrator, but the act of telling the story - is part of the narrative. love when the narration is diegetic! love an epistolary novel (like dracula!) for this reason. should read more of them

inventory by carmen maria machado (short story! read it immediately!) is a GREAT example of this. the format of the narration is so integral to the story. does more than elevate it imo, i would argue the story genuinely wouldn't work any other way

g*d. i'm gonna have to become a video essayist

im going into my new work tomorrow, first time ever😐

#i was supposed to go in yesterday but um #so basically i did whatever training i was never even aware existed on a platform i was never told of #which has progress for every lil step i do so my manager literally could see i hadnt even logged on n couldve warned me any time #but never did 4 some reason. like even a days notice like heyyy have u gotta blah done n not as im abt to exit to work #BUT ANYWAYS so i tell her i got it done n shes like awesome i make new schedule (since she said we have 2 completely rid the old one #i dont get an update until 4 days later. all she did was add THREE training days (im supposed to have 6 cus it's a hard job)#on TOP of my old schedule. so i have 3 days i know are training days and then a solo day bcs that solo day was going off my old schedule #so it's like. which days do i go on then. bcs u said i cant come in at all bcs we'll have to make a completely new schedule #and then the new schedule is just. 3 added days. on top of my old one #sunday i was scheduled for training & there was No trainer scheduled with me. it was just me #sunday wasnt one of the 3 new days added. it was from the old schedule she literally told me to ignore #n then all a sudden today i get an email from someone who was supposed to be training me (name not even on the schedule tho)#n shes like hey im in the building are u lost or smthing :)?' mind u im asleep . so she probably thot she was wasting her time for a good hr #i emailed her an apology n an explanation but UGH r u fucking serious?? IF I KNEW THAT WAS A (NEW) TRAINING DAY I WOULDVE WENT #I JUST WANT TO GET USED TO THIS NEW THING & IT'S JUST GETTING FUCKED LIKE I DONT EVEN HAVE A BADGE YET BRO #like i was suspicious of going in sunday bcs it wouldve lined up nicely with the 3 added training days #but manager TOLD me she was adding a whole new training schedule! i double check n all she added were THREE days! thats it!#how was *i* supposed to know sunday was supposed to be 1 of those days when ive been staying at home ignoring the schedule u said 2 #BCS U SAID 2. AND ALSO. THERE WAS NO TRAINER ON THE SCHEDULE.#even tho the drive is far. i wouldve driven up there today to see if i could shadow if i had known there was someone to shadow there #bcs even if i was wrong abt the day 2 come in at least i wouldnt waste my time but i didnt even know if there was someone there with a #trainer title. so i just missed a day i didnt even know i rlly had. FOR NOTHING. UGHH. I FEEL SO STUPID. I HATE MISCOMMUNICATION #im so scared of coming in now. sverybodys gonna think im dum n what if i have issues training then theyre gonna be like #we spent all this time on bro n he had all this time 2 prepare n he still sucks like damn we should just give up #i would 2 but i hate not seeing things to completion so. ugh. hate it here. idk what 2 say. got like 1200 ish lines of code for a thing in like 2 hours yippeee

it's a thing to make it easier to modify stuff for mario kart 64 it'll make my life 1000x easier i just have to enter a few numbers in and out comes a file i can apply to the game with some other program instead of having to copy and paste stuff for like half an hour to an hour every time i want to make changes

a game changer you could say *gets dragged away by the neck like a cat*

#listen this is such a big deal to me #and only me bc i'm the only person in the world who cares about doing this very very specific thing for a very specific game #now after this is done i can get my changes to the game ready in like an hour at most depending on what i want to change #instead of a few hours #if i just wanna change stats and not characters that means i just open the program and put in the numbers then have the game ready in like #5 minutes #massive improvement #but yknow if i want to change the characters too then it's still gonna take a bit #like 30 minutes to an hour but still a massive improvement #anyways yeah you can probably tell i'm excited about this #once this is done i'll maybe start working on getting the proper graphics update to the game #it's gonna be a rebranding on my mk64 pokemon thing to make it distinct from another thing someone made that was called pokemon kart alread #didn't really care all that much before since i didn't want to make it public or at least not in mk64 circles but i do wanna share it more #now that i've put this much work into it #since i'm already using pmd sprites i might as well change it to something related to pmd so i'm gonna have to come up with a title for it #also have some fun character surprises for when i release the new rebranded version #since last time i showed it here there have also been a lot of new pokemon added but i have some i haven't shown yet to anyone #not even in the places i playtest with others (if you see this mo hi i have some more i haven't shown off ;3)#but it might be a while before i get that to a public release #we'll see #depends on how i feel about working on it these next few days #so it's gonna be a surprise release

it IS supposed to show the blog archive and i think it did at some point but its broken now and i do not have nearly enough coding knowledge to fix it loll, now it's honestly just there as some extra decoration bc taking it out would 1. involve deleting some code which i want to Avoid now that the thing's actually public & i won't be the only one it breaks for anymore and 2. the desktop's already so empty i dont want it to feel Even Emptier lmao

y'see the thing about that is that it looks very cool and neat and i've learned a lot from working on it but it is so very much held together with duct tape

yesterday i was working on it again & completely broke the ability to interact with the posts directly . i do not have any idea what i did <3 but i managed to last-minute fix an issue that was bothering me for MONTHS (i started putting this together in like. fucking january) so it's an okay tradeoff i think

#trousled rambles #what you all need to understand is that it didn't occur to me that i might enjoy a computer science class until Yesterday #like immediately after i severely hyperfocused on it for like the 5th weekend in a row #it is a goddamn miracle that thing works as well as it does #my biggest “changed something without breaking it” w is that 4th sticky note for the record. it had 3 coded in originally #i added the 4th one in MYSELF aand it WORKED #I EVEN CHANGED ITS FONT #ahem anyway that is all to say. i have learned everything i know about html from this single thing and not one class or tutorial #so if there are technical issues i am Severely ill-equipped to fix them & you're just gonna have to bear with me here lmaooo

#pls tell me if hes cool or not its my first time making a proper skin pls be kind <3 #i had to remake it on the body layer bc i didnt understand how it worked at first #i had done everything on the outer layer 😭#*everything*#so i had to go back pixel for pixel to redo it #this took hours to complete the whole thing redo and all #its midday...#ive been working on it all morning #i actually done the first one 2 days ago </3 #i added the head wings today and a bunch of other details because some of it looked too clean (the symbol on the back and the cloud on the #front)#i was gonna add wings on the back since it was bare and i thought of it interacting with Pisco this morning #but i ultimately ruined the hair to add them on the head (copying this shape so many times was a bit of a pain...)#oh and of course after the first one i had to go and do extra bits under the arms legs head whatever i forgor about that the first time #anyway i lost the plot here just enjoy cloud bc hes silly :3
