Make a vampire smut where Armando kidnaps the reader
A/N: This is the 3rd request for vampire Armando and I got y’all 😫
Synopsis: Vampires can imprint 😌 Armando didn't realize what happened during a shootout when he first saw you. His heart stopped, the world slowed down and all his thoughts were consumed by you. A mix between vampires from twilight and vampires from tvd
It’s been 2 weeks since you’ve been trapped in this house with Captain’s killer. It probably had to do with the fact that Mike and Marcus made you tag along on a mission when you were suppose to be dropped off at home. Uncle Marcus had ONE JOB. Pick you up from class and drop you home, but no. With the discovery of Mike having a warlock son, you got caught in between everything. There was something odd about Armando. He made sure you had food, clothes and let’s you shower etc. He lets you roam around the house during the day time. At night though? He locks you in the basement. He was gone as soon as the sun set. He was handsome even you could admit that. It was a bit distracting since you got here, sometimes you couldn't help but stare at him. It was 9pm and you were insanely bored. You tried your luck by opening the basement door, to your surprise: it opened. Maybe this is your chance to escape? What was even out there? You looked out the window to see you were in the middle of nowhere and decided that it’s probably best to find a phone. Taking a risk in the forest is probably not the best way to survive. You rummage around the kitchen to see if you could find any device that you could use to contact your Uncle but no.
After 10 minutes of trying to search around you decided to give up. Yes you were kidnapped, but you weren't technically in danger. He is Mike's son after all he was probably just keeping you as leverage. You opened the fridge to grab some water and your heart stopped. No fucking way You heard Uncle Marcus and Mike talking about Isabel being a witch, but what in the entire fuck did she do to her son?!? The fridge was stocked up with blood bags, a few had a bite marks you didn't even want to identify. No....FUCK no. No wonder he was taking care of you, he was preparing me for dinner! You saw this bullshit on tv, but you didn't think it was actually true. You backed straight into someone and let out the first scream since you been kidnapped. Armando covers your mouth, his eyes a golden yellow with bloody veins. You were trying not to have a panic attack.
"Just relax. I was going to tell you." He slowly removes his hand from your mouth and honestly you should be heading for the fucking hills but your feet was planted in place.
"Why?!" If you were in his position you would've kept this to yourself. He constantly scans your face when he's talking to you as if he's trying to read your mind. Well I hope the fuck he can't cause I've thought some unholy shit and now im thinking of killing him!
"My mom did this to me. I don't think my dad realize that she was a vampire as well. We...we imprint on people whose suppose to be our soulmates. When I saw you during the shootout, I imprinted on you and I just took you away from everything" He leans against the island, looking at you. Wishing he could read you, but for some reason he can't.
So that confirms that you weren't leverage, but you were actually kidnapped cause he likes you. Hm. Do you scream now or later?
"If you come any closer I'll kill you!" You stated as you move quickly trying to find a way to escape. He appears in front of you and you slam full force into his chest. You grabbed a vase and threw it at him causing it to shatter all over the floor. You looked for the largest piece and cut yourself horribly trying to pick it up. You start to panic as he holds your hand filled with blood. He's gonna kill me, he gonna kill me, he's gonna kill me. He rips his shirt, creating a bandage to wrap your wound tightly. Your head starting to feel a little funny.
'A-armando I don't feel good" After that sentence you passed out into his arms.
Armando POV.
Sigh. I can't read her mind at all. She is the only person I have ever come across that I can't read her mind. Being a vampire is a curse and a blessing. The only reason I've been such a successful drug dealer is because I know what the other person is thinking. Always a step ahead, but with her? With this stupid imprint, I am lost for the first time. I find myself caring. I find myself wanting her. This shit is pathetic. During the shootout my first thing after imprinting was getting her away from the danger. Sure having her as leverage was a bonus, but now that she is under my watch I am not letting her go.
She passed out in my arms, I laid her down in my bed for the first time instead of the basement. Cleaning her wound, her blood smelled divine, I fought myself from taking a little taste. My body wouldn't be able to control itself and I'd feel too guilty if I were to hurt her. I tuck her in bed, sitting in the lounge chair in front of my bed, trying my hardest to read her mind. What could she be thinking of? ...fuck...
✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚:
The next morning you were sat on the barstool at the kitchen island. Armando was cooking breakfast. You admired his biceps in his white tank top. Your hand feeling a slight sting from last night's incident. You didn't mean to cause such a wreckage, but apart of you felt happy he took care of you last night. Waking up in his scent, under his covers did something to your core. He's leaving his mark on you and he hasn't even touched you. He's a vampire for god sake. You wanted to speak, but you couldn't find the words. After your steaming hot shower, Armando cleaned up your wound once again. Seeing you wrapped up in just a towel, your hair wet, body radiating coconut vanilla: it took his entire being not to touch you. You wanted him to touch you. It felt wrong but you wanted it.
"Armando.....I want you to kiss me" You blurted out. He turns around looking at you surprised. He turns off the stove, picking you up and carrying you over to his bed. You pulled him in for a sinful kiss. His lips are so soft. Where the fuck was this coming from? Yes you felt this, but it was wrong. Your mouth and body was already doing things before you could even think. Is he controlling you!?
Before you could even process a thought, clothes were ripped completely off and you were on top of him. His size was the biggest you ever came across, but you held him close and you rode him.
"Y/N" He moans out, his golden eyes drunk with lust as he guides your hips on top of him.
"B-bite me" You moaned out. He shook his head, he didn't want to ruin this moment by hurting you. You started to bounce up and down faster on his length.
"Bite me please! I want it!" You cried out, close to your orgasm already. In an instant, his teeth sinks into your shoulder and you let out a gasp.
✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚: :・゚✧:・゚✧✧・゚: ✧・゚:
You jumped out of your sleep, sweating profusely. A set of golden eyes staring back at you seductively. Out of breath you looked around the room realizing it was still dark out, you still had on the same clothes from last night....
It was a dream....

The Final Promise₊˚✩⊹
Chapter 4
Linked Universe x reader
Warnings: Mentions of mental health and depression, angst, fluff
₊˚✩⊹
Two days have passed since you left Castle Town, you and the chain just crossing the threshold of Hyrule Field, but not quite in Gerudo Valley.
The terrain was still slightly grassy, though the grass itself was yellowing, the land being very dry. The sun has long set, so you anticipated settling down soon, as you could feel the energy shift that has happened in the past couple days. Everyone was tired.
“Let’s setup camp under that large tree. Wild, why don’t you and the traveler start setting up dinner. The Captain and I can do a quick scout to see any possible encampments near us or any danger we need to be aware of. We should be back before dinner.” Time announced, motioning Wars to follow him.
You asked around the group seeing if there was anything you could assist with, but no one seemed to need anything for the moment. With a sigh, you propped yourself up against the tree and opened up the book Shad gave you. You might as well be productive.
Flipping through the book, there wasn’t much that related to your quest. Sure, some interesting tidbits about Hylian history and wars, but nothing of note. You halted your flipping at the page labeled: Other Worldly History: Ancient Runes and Magic.
Bingo.
Hyrule has been known to be a connection between various cultures, nations, and worlds. From the beginning, Hyrule contained loopholes and magic that could alter worlds, change the flow of time, and access completely disconnected dimensions. Nobody has successfully accessed said dimensions, but there are plenty of theories and magical concepts that support the possibility of accessing them.
A particular religious group, according to rumors and first-person accounts, have been seen performing rituals and dark magic that provides a window to a dimension. Though the group itself has no name or distinguishable faces or names, a few colleagues have been able to record the rituals and notes on how their procedures work.
You continued skimming the page, the author noting the black garb that the members wore and possible translations of the language. Everything was up in the air though. Flipping the page, you notice that there are diagrams on how the rituals are performed and how you could access “Hylia’s Mirror” through a very complex and specific execution of moments and chants.
The ritual began with placing your palms on the ground, or as the book liked to call it: “Connecting to Hylia’s body”. Weird.
You closed your eyes and lifted your palms, pointing out two fingers and drawing a large triangle around you, all sides and angles congruent.
You opened your eyes and tried to follow along with the specified hand signals, but you messed up halfway through. This was gonna be harder than you thought.
The smell of dinner was tantalizing, so you shut the book and placed it in your pack, deciding to play wizard again later once you've eaten. You don’t think you’ve eaten since you left Castle Town, as you all didn’t really stop walking unless taking a few hours to sleep.
You plopped down beside Four, leaning against him. He was sharpening one of his shorter blades, no doubt it being overused the past few weeks in close combat.
“Saw you playing wizard over there. Anything helpful?” he asked, eyes not leaving the blade.
You hummed. “Some dark magic stuff, lotta weird shit. I was too hungry to actually understand anything,” you said, looking at how Four’s fingers held the blade and handled it.
“I would help you, but I'm considered useless in the reading aspect. Can barely read signs if I'm honest. Only know the basics.” he said, stopping his sharpening and placing the blade back into its holster.
You were about to mention something about his comment when Wild called out to dinner, just in time for Wars and Time to return.
“Y/n over ‘ere was being magical and doing magic spells,” Twilight chuckled, gesturing at you “Chantin’ some gibberish, I tell ya.” he laughed, you rolling your eyes in response.
“Yeah, yeah. Mock all you want, but at least I’m getting somewhere. I think?” you paused.
“We can leave the demonology till later, let’s eat. I know you guys are starving, and I made heaps of food for tonight.” Wild smiled, handing out bowls to everyone. Does he carry a whole fucking kitchen on him?
~
“Who’s game did you play first, Y/n?” Wind asked, mouthful of food.
You pondered for a second, having to recollect your memories.
“Ummmm…. I think it was Skyward Sword, so Sky’s yeah. I think I was like 8 or 9.” you said, taking in another spoonful of rice.
“I miss being a kid, at times. I remember not having to worry about anything, just when I was going to play with my friends or what flavor of cake I was going to get for my birthday. Getting older changes you, for the better or worse, I honestly don’t know.” You said, looking over at everyone.
“I feel like i’ve gotten older faster since I first joined you guys, in a sense. I can’t really explain it. I guess adventuring, or rather being a hero forces you to grow up faster…” You trail off, looking at the fire.
Time pipes up “I agree with that, as I first left the forest when I was seven. The hero’s duty seemed inevitable, regardless if I postponed it or not.”
Wind nods, “I had to leave Grandma when I was 12, to save my sister Aryll. Even when I defeated Ganondorf and returned home, it didn’t feel the same… I wasn’t a kid anymore.”
You scootch up to him, letting him lean against your side. “I know I can’t change your past, Wind, but I just want you to know that I was there with you for every step of the way. Every nick or scratch you got, I made sure you were not alone. I’ll never leave you alone, any of you, whether or not I’m physically here with you or not. You’ll always feel me with you, in here,” You point at his chest.
Wind sighs sadly, “I love you Y/n.”
You sigh in contentment, “I love you too, squirt. You’ve always been like a little brother to me.”
“Call me squirt again and I’ll shank you in your sleep~” Wind said in a sing-song voice, but you knew he held no malice. You just chuckled at his “threat”.
“It’s so strange to me how we all felt you there with us, Y/n. Even if we didn’t hear you most of the time, you always gave us warmth.” Wild said.
“You guys gave me warmth too, and were there for me in my darkest days. Even just accompanying you for a few hours a day made me feel less alone,” you looked Wild “Even when I felt abandoned, I know you guys wouldn’t leave me.”
“13-year-old me would be so happy if she knew she was talking to her favorite heroes. She needed that. I needed that.” you said, combing through Wind’s sandy hair.
Legend frowned at your comment.
By the implication of your tone and words, it seems like your early teens weren’t joyful or memorable. You needed them. You needed him. He wished he could’ve heard you back then. It seemed like some of the others could hear you better during their journey, but he only heard you a few times. And from what he remembers, most of them weren’t happy.
He was also one of the last members of the group to recognize you. He only remembered you about 4 or so months ago. His past had clouded him and his mind, leaving him as leftovers.
Leftovers of Hylia’s game. He hated that damned goddess. A fraud. A parasite across each and every era. He had nothing to thank her for. Nothing besides… you. Simple, yet irreplaceable you. Millions of people had seen his quest and lead him through it, but you were an outlier. A special one. His guide.
Marin was a memory at this point. Not even a dream, like he thought she was. She was a distraction… a replacement. A replacement for you. Kind, smart, perfect you.

You made your way back to your room, trying to decide what you wanted to do for dinner, and assuming you’d be on your own for it. By now, you and Bucky were supposed to be dining along the Hudson River, getting ready to drive out into the mountains for your stargazing. Instead, he’d be sitting at Jade’s bedside and you’d be wondering how much longer you were gonna put up with this shit, as Sam so eloquently put it.
When you entered your room, you gasped. Propped up against the foot of your bed was a canvas painting– Frederic Edwin Church’s Moonlight in the Tropics, from his Twilight in the Tropics series– with a red bow stuck to the corner. You’d been a fan of the Hudson River School of painting since the first time Tony took you to see an exhibition years ago, and Church was your favorite by far.
You slowly approached the canvas, almost afraid to get too near it. The last time it had gone up at auction, you knew it had fetched over $1.2 million. This had to be a reproduction. Tentatively, you reached out a hand and delicately traced a fingertip over the brushstrokes. If it was a reproduction, it was damned good.
You gently pried off the bow to find a note. In Tony’s messy scraw, you read:
‘I’m so sorry, Pocket. I never should have dragged your personal business in front of the team like that. I hope you can forgive me.
Tony.
PS- Yes, the it’s real deal’
You sighed and shook your head. Tony fucking Stark. You pulled out your phone.
>> You’re a fucking dumbass.
IronBossMan: Apology accepted, I take it?
>> You’re lucky you’re family.
IronBossMan: Yes, I am. Very much so.
>> How’s Rhodey?
IronBossMan: Good. Stable. Hasn’t woken up yet, but Banner’s hopeful for a full recovery.
>> Good. I’m glad.
IronBossMan: Me, too.
>> Goodnight, Boss.
IronBossMan: Goodnight, Kiddo.
You’d have to get the tools necessary to hang it up in the morning. For now, you propped it up on your desktop. Crawling onto your couch, you tucked your knees under your chin and held them to your chest while you stared at the painting. Not his most expensive apology, but far more meaningful to you than the Ferrari.

twilight was at his wits end. he’d come home to a clean house, a lovely dinner, and yet you were no where to be found. when he ventured into your shared bedroom, you were perched on the bed with your nose in a book. twilight got the feeling you weren’t reading, though.
you glanced at him quickly before letting out a small huff. what was that all about, he wondered. “i’m home, doll,” he smiled, reaching a finger out to push your book down. instead you snatched it away from him, causing him to jump back.
“did you eat?” you asked, still not looking at him. he frowned at your strange behavior. he decided to ignore it, maybe you were just really into that book?
“it was amazing, doll. i cleaned up the dishes for you.”
“hm. thanks,” you mumbled, finally setting your book down. twilight thought you were finally giving him some attention, only to watch you climb off the bed and walk towards the door. “i’m gonna fold the laundry.”
“oh, i did that too.” you grit your teeth. of course he did. he was just doing everything but you, huh?
the reason you were upset at him may have been silly, but you couldn’t help it. when you woke up this morning, there was an ache between your legs. you tried to ignore it, but how could you when your lover was right next to you? it was rare that you woke up before him, so you thought you’d use it to your advantage.
you turned over, wrapping your arms around his waist the same way his were currently wrapped around yours. you leaned up a bit, placing soft kisses on his neck at which he stirred slightly. you pressed your almost naked form closer to him, innocent kisses turning into little love bites. soon enough your lover was awake. “mmm, mornin’.”
“g’morning, baby. sleep well?”
“mhm. always do when you’re next ‘ta me. c’mere,” he mumbled, laying on his back and pulling you into his lap. perfect, you thought.
you ran your hands down his chest, your gaze heated. twilight had closed his eyes again, relishing in the feeling of your body heat. you leaned down, lips hovering over his when—
“are ya comin’ with me today?”
“…huh?”
“you said you wanted to come watch me work, right?” he asked, opening his eyes to look at your confused face. you almost couldn’t believe what you were hearing. here you were in all your glory, horny, barely any clothes on, and he was thinking about work?
you pouted, climbing off of him and laying back down, back towards him. “i’m still sleepy. maybe tomorrow,” you mumbled. twilight thought nothing of it, assuming your attitude was due to you being ‘sleepy’.
“alright, darlin, i’ll see you soon.” without a second thought, twilight rose, planting a kiss on your forehead before going to get ready for the day.
yes, you were pissed off because you didn’t get to fuck your husband in the early morning. damn him for being so hardworking.
now you were standing in the door frame looking silly, still scantily clad with a scowl on your face. “thank you,” you hissed. you had no choice but to walk back to the bed, sitting next to him and picking back up your book. twilight frowned. this was getting frustrating.
“whatsa matter, darlin’? you okay?” he asked directly, prying the book out of your hands. you looked appalled at the fact that he dared take it away from you. “i’m fine—“
“no you’re not. tell me. now.”
“excuse me? why do i have to?” you growled, “whatever. go play with your stupid goats.” with that, you stood once more, marching towards the door. before you could even reach for the handle, your lover’s hand was around your neck, chest pressed to your back.
a growl rumbled in his chest, making you freeze on the spot. you could tell that he was trying to calm his breathing, the grip on your neck pinning you in place. “mind sayin’ that again?”you choked back a whimper, slightly shaking your head no. “i d-didnt mean—“
“you didn’t, huh? so why you been so mean since i got here?” he could feel you swallow. when you didn’t respond, twilight took a moment to sniff the air.
right, just like he thought. surely you wouldn’t talk to him like that for no reason. “how ‘bout you go sit your pretty self back on the bed? i’ll make sure that attitude’s dealt with.”
and that’s how you were tied up by your wrists and stripped bare in the span of 15 minutes.
there were bite marks littering your entire body, coloring your skin in different shades of reds, purples and blues. you trembled, tears decorating your lash line already while your lover sat in front of you and spanked your clit.
“can’t even go one day without me touchin’ this cunt? that’s a lil’ pathetic even for you, doll,” twilight hummed, landing another slap on your clit. you cried out, legs twitching in an effort to close. too bad twilight was absolutely fucking massive. “got me a runner, huh? you know that’s not gonna work, darlin’.”
your pussy was sobbing, a damp spot already formed on the sheets. your clit was so sensitive from his spankings and you didn’t think you could take anymore.
“i-i’m sorry, please let me go! i won’t do it anymore!”
“hm? i’m just givin’ ya what you wanted,” he smirked, thumbing at your over sensitive clit. you gasped, legs trying to close again. he never understood why you kept trying to stop him, you craved his touch. how could he deny you what you had been asking for?
“y’know what? i think you even deserve a reward for waiting for so long,” twilight said while lowering himself and pushing your thighs back, not even giving you a moment to brace yourself as his tongue attacked your swollen bud.
you let out a slutty moan, rolling your hips into his mouth. “ahhn, link!–” finally he was giving you what you wanted and more. you couldn’t help but yell his name, eyes rolling back in pure bliss.
even though he was upset with you, twilight only ever wanted to please you. his dick twitched in his pants at every gasp you let out. more, he needed to hear you more. he wrapped his lips around your clit, sucking at your gushing cunt. the tears finally started falling as you came abruptly, overwhelmed by his ministrations and your own sensitivity.
you twisted and turned in your restraints when he didn’t stop, drinking your cum like he hasn’t had water in days. “f-fuuuuck! quit it, let go let go!” you cried. he didn’t listen, not even for a second. instead, he dove his tongue even further into your cunt, viciously tongue fucking you towards your second orgasm. your legs shook in his grasp.
“please please i’m sorry! n-no, no more! too much!” twilight laughed into your cunt at your cries. where’d his tough little darling go? you had only cum once and he was far from done with you.
he kept tongue fucking you until he could feel you cum again, creaming all over his face. he sucked your poor pussy til there was nothing left, pulling away from your clit with a ‘pop’. you continued to shake, eyes squeezed shut. twilight ran his hands up and down your body, massaging the tense muscles. he didn’t need you cramping, he still hadn’t fucked you full of cum.
he gave you a minute before he spoke. “you said you’re sorry?” “mhm,” you whimpered in response. he smiled softly, grabbing your chin and kissing you deeply so you could taste yourself on his tongue. “how you gonna make it up to me? you thought i’d let ya off that easy, brat?” you flinched at his words. his tone was sinister, holding promises that tonight would not end well for you.
“y’know, i was thinkin’ ‘bout you all day. your pretty face never leaves my mind,” he spoke quietly. “neither does that pretty cunt. thought about how my sweet darling feels so good when i fuck them. after all, don’t i deserve something for dealin’ with that nasty attitude of yours?”
as mean as he sounded, he was testing you. seeing if you wanted to stop. after all of that? fuck no. you needed him to batter your pussy til it was sore. you whimpered once more as you nodded, which made your lover laugh.
“there’s my good doll. just needed me to take care of you, right? then you’ll stop all that bitchin’?”
he finally stripped himself of his clothing, making you drool at the sight of him. you squirmed once more, whining at him. “liiiiiiink!” his dick throbbed painfully at the sound of his name coming from you. “please lemme go, i wanna hold you too.”
you’re so damn cute. how could he say no to such a precious request? he was gonna destroy you.
twilight untied the rope binding your wrists, sighing dreamily when your arms wrapped around his neck. maybe he should let you get this needy more often.
“you ready, darlin’?”
“y-yes, please give it to me,” you whispered, looking him right in the eyes. he could’ve came right then and there.
slowly, he pushed his cock into you, the stretch making you hiss. it felt like he was splitting you open every time and you adored it. a broken moan left your throat, toes curling so hard it hurt. twilight was no better off, shuddering when his hips met yours.
“oh my— fuck, move!” you yelped. he started at an easy pace, letting you get used to his size. your eyes rolled into the back of your head, the pleasure sending you into a frenzy. hell, twilight could even feel you trying to fuck him back, your hips chasing his whenever he pulled back.
“that’s it, fuck, let me feel you,” he growled, gradually increasing his pace. your cunt was so wet, clenching around him so hard, he felt like he was in heaven.
“my p-precious darlin’ was just waitin’ for me, huh? needed me to bury my cock in ya? ‘s that all?”
“yes! yesyesyes, please! i love you so much, please!”
twilights pace stuttered, a choked groan tumbling out of his mouth. “i love you, too. gonna make me cum.” you were about to cum yourself, thighs shaking violently. you pulled him into a searing kiss that sent both of you over the edge. you were cumming so hard you couldn’t breathe, cunt squirting all over your husband and yourself. he moaned loudly, thrusts slowing but never stopping as he fucked his cum into you.
you started growing sensitive once more, begging him to stop, to take a break. but he couldn’t, not when you missed him so much and your pussy fucked him so good. twilight suddenly started fucking you at an animalistic pace, his grip on your hips bruising. you were screaming, certain that the entire village could hear you. your poor neighbors.
“fuckfuck, can’t stop, so fuckin’ good, need more,” he moaned out, throwing your legs over his shoulders. your back arched almost painfully. he was so deep you could only feel him. everything felt so good, too good, and you weren’t sure if you could handle any more.
“link, it’s too good! c-can’t take it! can’t— oh my— hahhhh!” your fucked out babbling was cut short as you came again, squirting all over the two of you once more. you felt so good, you were sobbing. twilight chuckled darkly.
“there ya go, jus’ like that. give me all of it til there’s nothin’ left, you hear me?”

i have arrived from ao3 to extend my request for bunny legend and wolfie interactions 👀
-if you DO consider writing anymore in this delightfully silly setting, i would love to find out what legend and twi talk about. do they talk shit about everyone else? have awkward sharing of feelings? have a contest over who has the best “puppy eyes” ??
((your writing gives me life my friend))
Master of Cuteness
"No." Legend snuffled. "No way. That would be too dumb. You're wrong."
Twilight couldn't grin, stuck as he was as a wolf, but he could chuff in amusement. "Wanna put your money where your mouth is, pinky?"
Legend, despite being an adorable pink bunny, could give a mean stink eye, and used it to full effect here. "I don't have any money, idiot. I'm stuck as a rabbit. My pack disappeared when I transformed."
Twilight flopped down beside the rabbit and rolled over playfully. "Well when we change back and it turns out I'm right and everyone here is hylian, are you prepared to hand me over fifty rupees?"
Legend sighed heavily. It came out as a little squeak. Adorable.
"Given that when we change back and no one else does, it'll be you giving ME fifty rupees, then yeah. That sounds like a fairly safe bet!"
Twi chuffed and rolled his eyes. Ever since he had joined this group of heroes who called themselves the Chain, he had suspected that he and Legend weren't the only heroes trapped in the wrong body. Sure, they were the only two non-hylians who could communicate, but they were also the only two traditional animals. Four may have looked like a small rodent, but he was definitely more magical than animal and Twi had never heard anything like his chitters before. And Wild was - well - Wild.
But Legend was adamant that they were alone in this. He was convinced that Time really was a giant tree man, Hyrule really was a tiny fairy. And yess, okay, Spirit himself would admit that he wasn't really a spirit, but that was surely just a coincidence!
Yeah right.
Twilight sat up and sniffed looking around. Looked like Wild had started on dinner and had some nice looking kebabs cooking. Twi glanced over at Legend.
"Bet's on. Now - I'm gonna go over and see how many of those kebabs I can convince Wild to give me with my cute little face, wanna come?"
"You're so immature." Legend snapped. "Of course I'm coming."

Some smooth brain on the internet: "Tim and Darry don't even work together as a couple they would never-"
Me, a logic user: Darry is literally making a pork chop dinner while Tim helps Pony with Math homework. Soda and Curly are setting the table and Angela just finished frosting the chocolate cake! Darry and Tim have a date at the bar tonight and Soda, Pony, Angela and Curly are gonna watch the Twilight Zone marathon in the living room with popcorn, cokes and blanket forts! They're all gonna get scared and end up in Darry's king size bed!
The Curtis-Shepard family will be fucking happy. Nothing bad will ever happen!
Leave my blue collared-criminal family alone!
this is u anon
Tumblr media

Hi thereee~ Would you mind doing some headcanons of the chain with a reader that basically has no personal space rules set in place for themselves, so they're like a living teddy bear up for hugs and anything else? Who would totally take advantage of this for free cuddles?
A/n:Oh my goodness this is really cute heck yea. I’m not sure if this was meant to be platonic or romantic but it can be read as either!! Also, I’m only gonna do three for right now, just so I can have something out and it doesn’t take too long to produce, I’d hate to keep you waiting for so long :(. The other ones will be written as well though! Just in multiple parts! Thank you so much for your patience🫶
Chain w/ free cuddles reader <3 part 1.
This part includes Time, Sky, and Twilight in that order!
Also Lemme preface and say the chain would absolutely make sure you’re 100% okay with it first. They don’t wanna cross any lines, even if there aren’t technically any lines there. Just had to throw that out there. Anyway!
Tumblr media
Time:
The old man isn’t really a cuddly person, but if you were you just come up to him and hug him, I don’t think he’d think anything of it. You’d definitely have to initiate it first with him for a while. Take for instance he and the captain are going over plans. You walk up to him and just hug around his torso or hug his arm and lean your head on his shoulder(or wherever you can reach), he wouldn’t even miss a beat.
“Hey uhh old man?”
“What?”
“…nothing”
They’re all just a touch too intimidated to say anything. He has a soft spot for you and would let you walk all over him if you wanted. Eventually he does get to a point where he returns your affections and place an arm around you whenever you come up—even if you don’t initiate it. He gets used to the affection you give and subtly begins to seek you out. Sitting by you at dinner time, putting his bedroll by yours, silently hoping you end up in his arms in the middle of the night. You’re comforting to him and he likes having you around.
Sky
Sky would 10000% take advantage of free affection. That man is the human version of the word “cuddle,” so the fact that you are as well makes him melt. Finally, he has someone just as snuggly as he is. I can see the two of you constantly snuggled up by the fire, his sailcloth around you both to act ad a blanket. He’d either be whittling something new(probably some cute gift for you) or playing his harp—or even just talking to one of the others. If he’s not doing something with his hands, you best believe he’s got at least one of his arms around you. I also know for a FACT he loves having someone play with his hair(it’s me I’m Jojo I say so/j). You can’t have hair THAT fluffy and not constantly want someone playing with it. Sky will absolutely seek you out at any time of day—as the chain travels around, he’ll come to walk by you and take your hand, swinging it with a dopey smile like he was proud of himself to get to walk beside you(spoiler alert:he is. He’s so happy he gets to exist at the same time as you, even momentarily.) sky adores you and wants nothing more than to hold you all the time. He will if you let him, but you’d have to say that first.
Twilight
My rancher, my cowboy, my beloved. He gives the best bear hugs in all of Hyrule—every Hyrule! He’s probably the second person under sky to absolutely take advantage of the ‘free hugs from y/n’ rule. He loves getting hugs and giving them too :,). He and sky are the comfort people in the chain—and you, little charm, are the newest addition to that title. If anyone is in need of comfort and love, they go to one of three folks. Sky, twilight, and you. You are Twilight’s comfort person, most definitely. Both as wolfie and himself. The wolf walks by you, and twilight will do his best to as well. Usually he sticks around the old man, but when he can, he’s by you, even doing so much as to drag you to the front of the group so he can have both. He likes being in his mentor’s plans, hearing the creation of them, knowing exactly what direction they’re heading and being able to be one of the first into action should something occur—speaking of action, that’s another reason he likes you by him. Not only to sling an arm around you and have you hug around his torso—but so he can protect you as well. He adores you and would absolutely blame himself if something happened to you(he and the champion are alike in that way). He can always keep you safe, and hold you when he wants to, so it’s a win win situation!

Presence (Twilight x GN!Reader) 🖤✨
A/N: Two fics in the same 24 hours??? Am I okay??? Yes, I'm on vacation. I have energy to write lmao. Eat it up while you can folks. Enjoy! 💖💖💖💖💖
TW: Mentions of depression, self-isolation and general stress on the reader.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
Twilight noticed you'd been a little... off lately. A lot of things had happened over the last few days, and everyone was a bit on edge; the whole team being ambushed around almost every turn, you having trouble keeping up due to some kind of medical issue he wasn't understanding (which terrified him, of course, though he'd struggle to hide it for fear of overwhelming you), and not to mention Wars' and Legend's near constant bickering over trivial matters due to all the stress... But your breaking point seemed to come when the postman delivered a letter to you.
He'd watched as you read it, everyone else watching on as well as it seemed like the emotion drained from your very being. It worried him beyond words. His heart shattered at the sight of you so visibly... emotionally numb. And he'd asked if you were alright, but he knew he could only do so much-- he'd never want to push you.
So instead, he did what he thought was best: he managed to convince the Old Man to let the chain stay at an inn for a few days to give you time to recover from... whatever was going on with you. Twilight soon learned that even though Time didn't show it, he also seemed troubled by your sudden change in demeanor.
He was very thankful now more than ever that the Old Man was a good one at heart. If he hadn't been, the Rancher knew he wouldn't have let you rest.
So here they sit, him and the Old Man, together with the rest of the chain in the inn's dining hall for dinner. The only empty chair was yours, he noted with growing anxiety. You hadn't shown your face all day today...
"...Are they still asleep?" Time questioned him softly. "...This isn't good. They shouldn't be alone when they're feeling like this... It only serves to make things worse in the long run," he sighs.
Twilight nodded. He knew you had a habit of isolating when you weren't feeling your usual self, but... skipping all three meals today was unacceptable. He stood from the table suddenly, without finishing his own food; he'd been so worried about you he couldn't eat much of it anyway.
"I'm... I'm gonna go check on 'em," he states firmly, unable to mask the concern in his voice.
To his surprise, the Old Man didn't try to stop him; Time simply nodded, speaking softly.
"...Why don't you fix them a plate and bring it up? I know they may not want to eat, but even something is better than nothing. They need their strength..."
The Rancher nodded again, fixing you a a decent portion and bringing it up to your room.
When he reached your room, the one that the Old Man was kind enough to let you share with Sky (someone he knew wouldn't bother you)... He paused, his ears twitching slightly at the sound of soft sobs coming from the other side. His heart broke, and a lump formed in his throat; he was so worried about you. He hated to see you in such a state... Nevertheless, he knocked softly.
"(Y/n)? ...Can I come in...?"
The crying hushed immediately, and your shaky voice reached his ears. "W-What do you want...?"
He paused, trying to think of the best way to respond.
"...(Y/n), we're worried about you, darlin'. Can I come in please?"
...Silence. He sighed; he knew he shouldn't barge in on you, but--
"...Fine..."
He let out a sigh of relief at your answer. He opened the door softly, carrying the plate of still-warm food; the room was dark. No lights, the curtains were drawn... Oh, you poor thing, he thinks to himself.
"...I'm turnin' on the light, sweet thing," he says, flicking on the light and watching as your figure huddles deeper under the blanket. He sighs, setting the food down on the nightstand and taking a seat beside you on the bed.
"...Can I ask what's been goin' on with you lately? You've been so sad, and it worries me to see you like this, hun. It worries all of us..." he says softly, placing his hand on your hair and rubbing the top of your head softly with his thumb.
He could've sworn your voice broke a little as you speak again in a softer tone than ever. "...I don't wanna talk about it..."
He sighs, but nods. "...That's okay, darlin'. I won't push you to talk if you don't want to..." he mumbles, still stroking your hair.
"...Can I at least stay here for a bit? I haven't seen your pretty face all day, sweetums."
He hears you sniffle, but he can see you nod. It's hard to make out at first, with your figure huddled deeply under the comforter, but he smiles when he realizes you'd said yes.
He shifts, now sitting cross-legged on the bed beside you, his hand remaining on your head. He sighs, thinking about what he could do to make you feel better.
...He'd be lying if he said he didn't wish you were roomed with him for the night. He wants to make sure you're okay, but he also knows that Sky is perfectly capable of being there for you should you want it.
...And he says 'want', because goddesses know you definitely need it.
"...You feel like eatin'?" he asks softly, voice remaining low as he leans a little closer. He sighs again when he hears you mumble a weak "Not really..."
"...Yeah, I figured..."
He sighs for what now has to be the eighteenth time. He wants you to eat; he knows you haven't all day, and it's past 5 PM now...
"...I know you don't want to, doll, but... could you at least take a little bite? For me? Pretty please?" he asks as sweetly as he can muster.
He hears you sigh, and for a split second he's worried he's pushed you too far; but to his pleasant surprise, you sit up, reaching for the plate.
Heh. Can't say no to me, can you lovebug?
He smiles; the way your hair's all messy and the tired look on your face makes you cute, but in a heart-breaking sort of way. He watches intently as you slowly pick up the fork, poking at the food; and his smile grows more as you finally take a bite.
He places his hand back on the top of your head. "Good pup," he chuckles softly, laughing a little more as you huff at him.
You must've finally realized you were hungry, because he sits in silence for several minutes as you manage to finish off a little more than half the plate.
"There you go," he says softly with a tender smile. "Feelin' a little better?"
You nod, setting the plate back on the nightstand and pulling the blanket back up to your shoulders.
"...You're free to go back to sleep if you want, darlin'. I just wanted to check up on you," he says, subconsciously leaning a little closer to your face as his hand drops to your shoulder. "...Do you want me to stay here, or should I leave?"
"You can stay..." you say softly. He's overjoyed at your response, grinning like a lovestruck dumbass (because he totally is. Not that he's admitting it or anything. Not at all.)
"...I can do that. But you're cuddlin' with me whether you like it or not, lovebug."
He laughs as you huff again, rolling your eyes this time. "Fine..."
His grin only grows, lying down and pulling you down with him. Gently, he pulls your head onto his chest, resting his hand on the top of your head as he noses your hair.
"See? I'm not so bad," he chuckles softly.
"I guess not..." you sigh, and he runs his finger through your hair.
"...Don't worry, sweet thing. Sometimes you just need someone else to take care of you when you can't do it yourself....
"...And I'll be that person if you'll just let me. Don't worry your pretty little head about a thing, darlin'. I'm here..." he says tenderly, stroking your hair.
He's so warm and his presence is so comforting, it's not long before you're on the verge of sleep again. A soft chuckle rumbles in his chest.
The last thing you note in your half-asleep state, is that you could've sworn you felt his lips on your forehead.
"Sleep, little lovebug. I'll be here when you wake up."

Malon and the glasses
A little addition to the Incredibles au glasses fic (found here!) I posted the other day, it takes place during that one, so I suggest reading that first (though you don’t have to to understand this).
This is also in honor of Mother’s Day, cause Malon is the best :)
...
Nobody saw much of Twilight the day he got his glasses, the teenager keeping pointedly to himself.
He barely ate any dinner that night, and quickly asked to be excused, shutting himself up in his room without waiting for dessert. His brothers watched him go, but soon went back to eating, the fight over who got the last slice of bread much more exciting than Twilight’s mood.
Malon exchanged looks with Time after Twilight left though, and once dinner was over and done with, she headed up to the room Twilight and Wild shared, joined by a slice of the cake Wild had made.
Here goes, she thought, bracing herself as she walked down the hallway. Twilight didn’t often get moody, but when he did, he really did.
“Hey honey, can I come in?” Malon asked, knocking softly on Twilight’s door.
A noise of confirmation came from inside, and Malon pushed the door open, greeted by the sight of Twilight sitting grumpily on his bed as a wolf. She set the slice of cake on his bedside table, then sat on the bed beside him, his ears twitching softly at her arrival.
“All right, come here,” she said gently, and Twilight scooted himself over, sadly flopping his head in Malon’s lap. Malon adjusted herself so they’d both be more comfortable, and Twilight let out a breathy sigh, not looking at her.
Malon looked at him a moment, then let out a sigh of her own.
“Oh hon, I’m sorry. I know you didn’t want glasses,” she said gently, and Twilight let out a morose sound.
“Does anyone ever want glasses?” he woofed grumpily, and Malon hummed.
“Well... at least you just need them for long distances, you’ll pretty much only have to wear them while you’re driving,” Malon said encouragingly, but Twilight didn’t look cheered up.
“Yeah. I can pull up to school and have everyone see how dorky I look.”
“Hey, I’m sure you don’t look dorky,” Malon said, and scratched a soft hand over his fur. Twilight leaned into the touch. “I’d bet they make you look nice. Sophisticated.”
“Silly,” Twilight added glumly, leaning against her arm. “Like some kind of smart alec. Glasses are just asking for trouble.”
“Now why do you say that?” she asked, and Twilight gave a small shrug.
Malon waited for him to speak further, switching from scratching behind his ears to running her hand along his head, more like how she used to do when he was smaller. Twilight relaxed, and a moment or two went by before he spoke again.
“...I’m already weird,” he mumbled finally. “Glasses are just going to add to that.”
“Twilight, you’re not weird,” Malon said firmly. “Unusual maybe, but that’s just how things are with superpowers. We’re all a bit unusual.”
Twilight gave her a flat look. “Mom, I have five brothers with the same name as me. Not to mention Dad. And Warriors. And Sky. Powers aside, that’s not normal.”
“Okay, okay, you got me there. You know half of the names were accidents though,” she said with a pointed scratch, and Twilight softly huffed.
“I know. I just... don’t want glasses.”
Malon sighed, patting him by the thick fur at his neck. “At least give them a bit of a try, hon. It’s this or no learner’s permit, so you’re gonna have to decide which you dislike more; not being able to drive, or wearing some frames while you do.”
Twilight sighed, and his mother scratched him behind the ears in silence.
“Can I see them?” she asked after a minute.
Twilight hesitated, then slipped back into his hylian form, leaning over and grabbing the glasses case she’d seen Time bring in earlier. He handed it to her and Malon opened it, picking up the glasses and inspecting them.
“Well they don’t seem so bad to me,” she said kindly, peering through them. “The frames you chose are nice.”
“It was those or the ones with these giant rims,” Twilight said with a small smile, and Malon chuckled. “...I guess they could be worse.”
“Can you model them for me?” Malon asked, and Twilight hesitated, looking at them. Then he slowly took the frames from her, and put them on.
Malon studied the way they sat on her son’s nose, how they made his eyes look, and how they looked with the shape of his face. Twilight’s ears flattened in embarrassment the longer Malon silently studied him, and he looked at the floor again, until she gently cupped his cheek and tilted his head back up.
“Look at that. I was right. They do make you look nice,” she said with a smile.
“...You sure?” he asked quietly, and she nodded.
“I’m sure. And I’m not just saying that because I’m your mother,” she said as she gave him a squeeze. “You look fine, hon. I promise. And if I’m being completely honest... they make you look more grown-up. Mature.”
A hesitant smile formed on Twilight’s face, and Malon reached over and grabbed the plate she’d brought up.
“Wild mixed up another cake, I brought you a slice,” she offered, and Twilight’s ears pricked. He took the plate from her, and leaned on her shoulder as he began to poke at it, his smile growing just a little as he ate.
“Thanks Mom,” he said quietly as he nibbled at it, and Malon nodded, rubbing his shoulder.
“Sure thing, honey,”
Twilight set his head on her shoulder, and they sat there together as he quietly ate the cake, Malon smiling at the sight of the glasses still on his nose.

Big Brother [3/3]
Three instances of big brother instincts within the chain. [Ao3 Link]
[Part 1: Wind] [Part 2: Twilight] [Part 3: Warriors]
The chain had been traveling aimlessly until a portal dumped them back in the middle of Hyrule field. Legend groans loudly at their surroundings. It feels like every time they decide to go to a town, a portal gets in their way.
"I think this is mine," Time says, a faint smile on his face.
Hyrule instantly perks up. "Does that mean we get to see Miss Malon again?"
Time grins at him. "If you don't mind the farm work."
Wind woops in response much to everyone's amusement.
"Welp, I guess it's settled," Wars says patting Time on the back "We're off to see the Missus again!"
Malon greets them all warmly. She spends time hugging each of them as she welcomes them home. She even introduces them to her father who's home this time. He's a portly old man with deep crows feet and laugh lines around his mouth. Much like Malon, he's able to instantly identify Twilight as a farmer.
Time tries to put them to work but quickly gets overruled by Malon and Talon. Wars won't admit it, but he's grateful for their intervention. Farm work is hard. Last time, he felt muscles he didn't even know he had ache!
Some of the group still insist on working, though. Twilight bullies his way into helping Malon clean the cow stables. Sky is more than happy to herd cuccos. And Four finds his way to the farrier.
Wars grins as Time shuffles around the house for a few minutes. He's completely changed out of his armor into stiffer clothes. "Heading out to help too?" Wars asks.
Time pauses in his search to look up at him. "Hm? Yeah. I'm gonna help Talon weed the crops."
Wars' grin widens. He glances around making sure the others aren't around. "You know," he starts off innocently. He tries not to laugh at the look Time gives him. "I'm glad I finally get to meet my little brother's old man. He must have a well of Patience greater than the expanses of time itself to deal with you."
"Just because I've told him about you doesn't mean he believes it."
"Malon believed you. Besides, it won't be too hard to convince him."
"You're going to be insufferable aren't you?" Time asks drily.
"Oh, absolutely," Wars replies without hesitation. "It's only fair."
The weary sigh of defeat he gets is music to his ears.
--
Wars sits on the porch as Wind, Hyrule, and Wild all run around in circles. He won't pretend to know what game they're playing, but it's nice to see them relax.
"Aren't there nine of you boys?"
He smiles at Talon as the old man takes a seat in the other chair. "Legend's inside taking a nap," he says. "He gets cranky when we're on the road for too long."
Talon laughs. "I'd've thought a Hero would be used to the road."
Wars startles. He knows Time tells Malon everything and she believes him, but he made it seem like Talon never did. It's jarring to hear him speak with the same candidness Malon does, but Wars is glad Time has people he can talk to. "Legend's been through more adventures than any of us," he explains. "All in just a handful of years... He deserves the rest."
"You boys are all so young," Talon says quietly.
Wind shrieks in delight when Hyrule picks him up and tosses him to Wild. Hyrule's accompanying laughter is carefree, and even Wild's smile is easier than usual.
Mask was bitter when he first stepped through the portal. It had nothing to do with the horrors of war. He was already haunted by pain and loss long before he ever set foot in Wars' era. He was so young; about the same age as Wind at the time. Yet the two are as different as night and day.
Sensing his mood, Talon starts to get up. "What d'you say to helping me get started on dinner, boy?"
Wars follows him with a quiet chuckle. "I know an order when I hear one, sir," he grins, "but fair warning: I'm a terrible cook."
He's surprised by how well Talon directs him around the kitchen. It's not the ease with which Time and Malon function with each other, or the ease Wild finds in any kitchen. But it's nice.
Time enters some time later and pauses at the sight of them. He raises a single eyebrow when Wars spots him.
Wars shrugs in response.
"What happened to letting the boys rest?" Time asks.
"I know a man in need of a distraction when I see one," Talon responds plainly. "See if you can't go help Malon and your boy. Dinner'll be done in an hour."
Time narrows his eyes at the two. Wars gives him a cheeky grin and Time scowls. They're not planning anything, but Time doesn't have to know that.
Talon chuckles at their exchange. "He keeps doing stuff like that, and I'll have to believe him."
"Oh?"
Talon claps him on the back. "I know what brothers tormenting each other looks like."
Wars laughs. "I need to get payback somehow."
"So you really knew him when he was a kid?"
"Only for about three years, but yes."
Talon hesitates for a moment. Wars is instantly on guard. "Has he always been vague about his answers?"
"What do you mean?" He asks carefully.
"Like if you ask him the things he's fought."
Wars instantly relaxes. "Lemme guess," he says drily. "The moon."
Talon nods with a tired look. "He won't explain it either."
"I know what you mean," he sighs. "When he first showed up in my world and demanded to fight, we asked him what the biggest thing he fought was and he said the moon. So we asked him what he meant. And guess what he does?"
Talon points up.
"Yes!" He raises his arm straight up and points. He does his best impression of Mask's scowling face, and with a patronizing voice he says, "I mean the moon! What's so hard to understand about that? If you don't get something as easy as that, why are you even in charge?"
Talon howls with laughter.
"So a few weeks ago I ask him the same thing. Y'know, to see if his answer's changed." Wars grins. "Hey Old Man, what's the biggest thing you ever fought?"
"The– oh ho," Talon wheezes between laughs. "The moon!"
"The moon!" Wars crows. "And he still refuses to elaborate!"
--
Dinner prep continues on for almost another hour. Wars knew that making food for so many people was a process, but he never realized how intensive it was. He's more than a little frayed by the time they finish. Talon pats him on the back approvingly, and the looks on the others faces is more than worth it.
He spends a little time watching the others as they settle down to eat. Time and Twilight sit on either side of Malon. Wind takes a seat next to Talon and makes easy conversation with the old man.
Wind really is a kid of many talents. He handles a grumpy Legend with the grace of a practiced brother while falling for his bait in equal measures. Yet he's able to hold long and easy conversations with adults and the elderly.
Wars is glad his adventures don't weigh him down. At least, he hopes they don't and Wind isn't just hiding the pain.
"You okay, Cap?" Twilight asks.
"Yeah. Just thinking of the little brother I had for a second."
Twilight and those closest to them grow quiet. "Sorry."
Wars raises an eyebrow before laughing loudly. "It's nothing like that!" He assures to all the sad faces. "It's just what he became to me. He was sent home when all was said and done. I do still miss him to this day, though," he sighs with a hand on his chest. He grins at the way Time snorts.
Wind lets out a loud sound of disappointment from across the table. "Does that mean I'll never get to meet him?"
Sometimes Wars forgets Wind spent a few weeks in his war. It was so late into the fighting, the war was practically over. That and he was far from the main fighting, usually just holding the far lines from any advances. It's just as important for holding the army together as the main lines, but fairly uneventful by the time Wind got there. He's still kicking himself for not making the time to go meet him properly back then.
"Count yourself lucky," Wars teases. "I love him, but he was an absolute menace."
Legend snorts. "Can't be that bad."
"Two words," he says making eye contact with Time. "Mask Duty."
Wind chokes on his juice. After he gets his coughing in control he all but shouts, "Mask was your little brother?!”
He's taken aback by the response. "Yeah?"
Wind scrambles to pull his sleeve back and hold up his forearm. "He bit me!"
Wars' jaw drops.
Talon and Hyrule lean over to get a better look.
Wars turns to Time who's studiously picking at his plate. He rubs a hand over his face with a groan. "Great Three, please have mercy on me. Is that why I was stuck on stable duty for almost two months?"
The others snicker at him.Time uses the noise to mutter a quiet, "No," but Wars knows that tone. It absolutely was his fault.
With a long dramatic sigh, Wars uses his melodramatic voice, as Mask liked to call it. He likes to call it his tired older brother voice. "Wind, on behalf of my little brother, I apologize for his horrible behavior. I ask you find it in your heart to forgive him."
Time glares at him but he has practice ignoring that particular look.
Twilight whistles lowly. "That sounds practiced. How often did he get in trouble?"
Wars resists the urge to smirk. "More times than I can count," he sighs sadly. "But I'm sure you'd all rather hear something else."
Just as expected, the table explodes into commotion. He sends a smirk Time's way and nearly cracks. Time's scowl has turned into a full on pout. Suddenly Wars finds himself look at Mask like he's been caught sneaking into the stables for the third time that week and not an adult ten years his senior with a wife.
"Okay, okay," Wars laughs. "I'll tell you a few stories."
He tells them of the first time Mask appeared on the field and the absolute mayhem it caused. A good portion of the soldiers had their attention split between halting the enemy Lieutenant and keeping the literal child safe. Not that Mask made it easier. He refused to be pulled off the field and even broke the hand of one of the soldiers trying to hold him back.
Wars tells them of the way his heart leapt into his throat when Mask rushed forward. A tiny child with a sword too big to properly carry rushing at a monster three times his size! Only for the little boy to swing the the massive claymore and slice the monster in two.
They still tried to bench Mask after that, of course. No one felt comfortable putting a child in the front lines despite his clear skill. That didn't matter to Mask, though.
It was a particularly hard battle and they were loosing. Impa was out for the count and Wars wasn't advancing fast enough. They would've lost—died—if Mask hadn't jumped in with all the unpredictability of a storm.
"You should have seen the way he yelled at us!" He wheezes. "I've never seen Impa or Artemis make faces like that before. He got his wish, though, and he was put in the main lines."
Malon giggles. "My, he seems like quite the spirited young man." Her eyes shine with mirth as Time's shoulders hike up in embarrassment.
"And very protective of the people around him," he nods. "For as much trouble as he caused, as much as he yelled and terrorized everyone, he loved the people around him."
Sky coos at the story. "He was probably so sweet in private."
Wars laughs. "Hardly! You just had to learn how he showed affection."
Hyrule winces. "Oh gosh, how bad?"
"So a lot of the soldiers didn't like we let a kid in the field right," he says, "so they started acting up. They'd question orders, disregard plans, speak I'll of her Majesty. Mask would absolutely terrorize the poor souls. I'd almost feel bad if they didn't deserve it."
"Wait, so how did Mask Duty start?" Wind asks.
"Mostly from that. Soldiers who questioned Artemis about Mask's presence ended up with the kid in their squads. That eventually evolved to a punishment for any serious offenses."
Wind cackles, surely remembering the fearful whispers of Mask Duty among the troops.
"Surely he wasn't a menace the whole time?" Sky winces.
"Well yeah, he was still a kid," Wars shrugs. "Show him something cool and he'll play with it for days. And he loved slight of hand tricks! He'd even pull on my scarf to get my attention. I'm not paying attention to him, he'll yank until I do. I'm spending too much time trying the perfect a strategy, and he'll yank on my scarf until I stop. I skip a meal, and he yanks until I get something to eat. He has a nightmare and instead of just waking me up, he drops all his weight on to my stomach."
He's completely lost in thought by this point. At the time, Mask had seemed to be constantly harassing him, but the years have given him perspective. Mask was just making sure they didn't crumble under the weight of responsibility.
"There was one particular battle that went horribly. Our forces were decimated. We barely escaped with our lives. Zelda completely closed herself off from everyone," he says quietly. "Not even Impa could get to her. Those were some dark days... But then one day laughter breaks through the silence. Mask had gotten Zelda to leave her tent. She was pale and her eyes red from crying, but she was playing in the mud with him."
He chuckles feeling the sudden tightness in his throat. "I think we'd all forgotten what joy was at that point. For as much trouble as he caused, Mask reminded us all there was still hope."
There's a tug on his scarf and Wars automatically looks down before remembering he has to look up now. Time's face is concerned as he looks him over. "You okay?"
Wars smiles. He pushes back the memories and ruffles Time's hair. "I'm fine, Sprite. Don't worry about it."
The table explodes into a mess of shouts and questions. Wars startles so bad he bangs his knee on the underside of the table.
"You bit me!" Wind accuses.
Time sputters, face pink with embarrassment. He looks to Wars for help.
Wars shrugs. "I told you you'd face the consequences of your actions one day." Time looks so panicked at the prospect that Wars caves immediately.
He helps Time field as many questions and accusations as he can. Eventually the others calm down. Though they spend the rest of the evening muttering amongst themselves and taking turns looking at Wind's bite mark.
Wars shakes his head as Twilight looks at the mark for the third time. "I can believe you bit him."
Time crosses his arms defensively. "He tried to take my Keaton mask."
"That's not an excuse to bite someone!"
Time looks away with a huff.
Wars laughs. He throws an arm around Time's neck and drags the man down at an uncomfortable angle. "Spirits, you've chilled out, but you're still the same little shit I knew," he says fondly. "I can't believe it took me so long to recognize you."
Time growls and yanks on his scarf in annoyance. Wars smirks at the feeling. It's the same way he used try to choke Wars when he was younger.
With practiced ease, and no longer having to hold back against a little kid, Wars wrestles Time to the floor. He grins triumphantly from where he sits on Time's back. "You're gonna have to try harder than that, Sprite," he teases. "Maybe I can give you some pointers."
Time deflates, seemingly accepting his fate.
"I can't believe he's a younger brother," Legend mutters with a frown.
Twilight stands next to him with a truly horrified expression.
Wind nods, seemingly unbothered by Twilight's unresponsiveness. "It almost makes too much sense."
"You're a terrible person," Time mutters.
Wars pats him on the head. "I know."

Inspired by @crazylittlejester's Wars headcanons, which intersect a lot with my own issues with food so of course it stuck with me.
Content warning for discussion of a very broken relationship with food/implied restriction, but I like making things a little hopeful and sweet.
Twilight & Warriors LU fic, rated G, approx 1000 words.
Also on AO3
IIII
Twilight set up to make dinner, as he had a hundred nights before for the group, with about twenty minutes of that being debating what to make with Wild, which one of them was going to be in charge tonight, and then getting the ingredients out of Wild’s slate before he settled to clean up and start. It was his favourite chore, if he was honest; he loved cooking when Wild let him, and after how long they’d been together Wild often was content to help rather than lead. He got distracted a lot, and liked the chance to get up and wander, and after one too many “What if” ideas, the others preferred it, too.
It was around when Wild wandered off to see what Hyrule and Wind were doing that Twilight saw Warriors crack his neck at the far side of the fire and stand up. He turned and started walking away himself and Twilight froze.
Had he ever seen Warriors leave the fire when he was cooking? He didn’t think so. His mouth twitched. “Leaving already?” he joked. “I’m gonna miss the company.”
Warriors startled, then turned and laughed. “What, you liked me just hanging around staring at you?”
“I don’t care,” Twilight admitted. “Although in Ordon I’m used to the company. I've just gotten so used to you watching the whole time it’s strange to see you go.”
To his surprise, the other man walked around the fire and touched his shoulder. “I think if you haven’t poisoned me after four months, you’re not going to. I don’t think Wild would either, at least on purpose, but...”
Twilight automatically responded to the second with, “He’s only done that once,” before the first part finished processing. “You thought I might poison you?!”
The hand almost left his shoulder, then squeezed it before its owner dropped to sit beside him. Twilight turned to stare, but Warriors couldn’t quite meet his eyes or answer him. Twilight stared at his hands again and tried to think back – he knew at some point in the first two weeks they’d been together, Time had talked to Warriors although not what about. That was when he’d started watching him cook.
Had he ever eaten with them before that? Twilight didn’t think so. When Wild cooked, Warriors usually asked him for something to make himself and...
“Something happened during the war?” Twilight guessed, when Warriors hadn’t spoken.
“Very early in the war,” he agreed. He looked around the nearly-empty fire, but most of the others were napping, training, or getting up to something else. “Impa had taken me on as her protege and – literally within two weeks of losing the castle, I fell.... very ill. I almost died; if we hadn’t been staying with the Sheikah, I likely would have. And within days of pulling out of danger, I was sick again before they could find out who was doing it.”
Twilight swore and narrowly missed cutting his finger as he cut up the onions in front of him. He shook himself and sighed. “Shit. That fucking....” He couldn’t think of a strong enough word.
Warriors snorted quietly. “I’d be sick after eating anything after that, for another two weeks until Impa figured out a strategy to make me not... Not panic at the thought. Fairies can detect most poisons, so I started coaxing them to stay close, and the rest of the time... If I didn’t make it, or Impa didn’t vouch for it, I just.... didn’t eat. Add that to rationing, and I made more than a few people scared for my health the rest of the war.”
Twilight didn’t comment that he’d honestly talked to Time about how he looked now. Warriors still was one of the skinniest among them, although Twilight had just assumed it was his natural body type. But to hear the rest was.
“I don’t mind you watching me,” he said, because what else could he say?
“I’ve appreciated it,” Warriors said, softly. “Time caught me not eating and reminded me we had to trust each other. It was... hard.”
He’d never watched anyone close enough to see if the risk of Warriors being too nervous to keep food down had come up now, Twilight supposed, and he wasn’t going to ask now. But it was tempting. He dumped the chopped onion into the pot and started on the wild garlic, feeling his eyes with more pressure than before.
Was it clean enough? Did he think his food was safe?
Cooking for the village children meant a lot to him; he was always careful about that, because making one of them sick was his worst nightmare. But it didn’t feel the same as the importance of realizing Warriors trusted him in the face of something that’d almost killed him before too.
Just as vital, but nowhere near the same.
“Thank you,” Twilight said. He swallowed until his eyes didn’t burn. “For trusting me. Is there anything else...?”
Warriors snorted, hard. “Just warn me if Wild tries to talk you into anything weird if I walk away. Alright?”
Twilight turned and caught his eyes before he nodded, not letting the lightness in his voice belie the fear he could see there. “I promise. No surprises here.”
“Great. I’m gonna go find the river and bath, then.” Warriors stretched his jaw and stood, squeezing Twilight’s shoulder as he walked away, his light tone at odds with the tension in his back.
Twilight would chase Wild off with the spoon if he had to to keep that trust.

Tagged by my love @disasterbuckdiaz (with a super hot snippet) @daffi-990 (with a whole lotta feels) @tizniz (with a super cute new fic 🦖) @buddierights (with a sweet fic of V-day past) thank you lovelies 💖
Today I bring you two snippets because Fuck It, amirite??? The first is because I was rewatching Fellow Travelers last night and a moment in Episode 2 hit me like a freight train.
But then the skit starts.
Caroline and Carlos, dressed in a suit and skirt respectively, playing as a couple having dinner at home. Caroline sits at a small table while Carlos stirs an empty pot of imaginary soup.
Even though it’s all pretend, the whole scene is so terribly, achingly domestic. A reminder of an unattainable dream. Within seconds Tim feels as though he is submerged, drowning in heartache. It fills his lungs, taking up precious space where air should be. Every silently jagged breath burns as he tries to take in oxygen, but only receives more pain. He doesn’t know how he’s not making a spectacle of himself, attracting attention to the way his heart cracks, just short of breaking completely.
It is a relief when Carlos approaches him, holding out the wooden soup spoon. The gesture is silly but provides a much needed reprieve. Tim finds it in himself to be able to laugh again as he’s fed the invisible offering. A bright feeling that bursts forth, genuinely happy as it displaces his gloominess.
When Carlos and Caroline have bickered and teased their way to the ending, they bow and curtsy as the group claps and cheers. Some even call for an encore. Instead Caroline insists Mary put a record on so everyone can dance.
A lesser version of Tim’s earlier distress settles over him like a thick fog. It blankets him in loneliness while he watches Mary and her lover sway to the music, holding each other close with their cheeks pressed together.
Snippet #2 is noticeably more zesty (any guesses from the banner???) but with no fewer feels. Find a bit of honey, when you call my name under the cut 😏 Hoping this one will be posted very soon.
“You okay?” Buck’s face is etched with such concern and care it makes Eddie’s chest tight. A squeezing around his heart that makes him wish he could pull it from behind his ribcage. To clutch it in his palms while he shows off all the places Buck’s mended and healed for him. A way to prove that Eddie is more than okay, and only improving as they continue to intertwine their lives together.
“Yeah, baby. I’m good.” Eddie lifts his head, angling his neck so he can kiss Buck again. He pours all of his gratitude and overwhelm into it, hoping the message is clear. That their unique brand of silent communication applies here as well.
It must because Buck continues to slide in, albeit slowly. He goes inch by inch, periodically checking in with a questioning look that Eddie returns with a small nod until Buck’s fully seated. And it feels… unusual. Not in a bad way, but an altogether different sensation than the times he’s fucked himself with his fingers or a toy. Of course it would be, because it’s Buck. It’s novel and precious and life changing. An event that Eddie would scribble in his diary if he had one. But at the same time — it’s Buck. So it’s also an inevitable homecoming, like being able to finally set down his burdens and breathe a sigh of relief.
“So good, Buck,” Eddie tells him before the question can be asked, because he knows it will be. He can see it in the infinite blue staring back at him, sparkling with affection and love.
Buck dips his head down, brushing their noses together, and Eddie doesn’t miss how bright, sunny blue turns darker, like dusky twilight.
“Gonna move as soon as you say so,” Buck murmurs against his lips. “‘ve wanted to fuck you for so long.”
Eddie’s belly swoops and his muscles clench in anticipation. Because it’s a two way street and this has been years in the making for both of them.
“Oh, yeah?” Before Buck can answer he tacks on, “Do it then. You’re not the only one waiting here, y’know.”
He’s rewarded with a mischievous smirk just before he feels Buck pull back. A moan — closer to a growl — rips out of him when Buck thrusts forward again, making him feel so, so full and whole. Complete.

A case of the flops
860 words
First fanfiction of this fandom, idk how to feel about this but here we go.
So  I have recently learned that bunnies flop on their sides when they are utterly blissed out/ content.  And i wanted to base some fluff for legend off of this. Because it's not leaving my brain.  (rereading this , would it be considered angst or fluff or a mix of both idk)
Little side note: i found an article that said that legends world, specifically a link to the past, would smell like mushrooms. And it seems reasonable to me so im gonna roll with it
Gn Neutral!reader
The chain was setting up camp, the nearest inn being a couple days away unfortunately.  Its wild’s  hyrule, being near mount satori, smelled of mushrooms and apples , due to the number of them around.
The smell brought some comfort to legend.
The chain finished setting up camp, now currently waiting on wild to finish dinner.
There were small and comfortable conversations all around the camp, bringing everyone to a sort of temporary peace.
Legend eventually made his eyes over to reader, noticing how they were making small talk with wind and wild. He feels the need to go over to reader for some reason.
Slowly he had made his way to their side, standing next to them.   Suddenly wind, noticing something cool that was in the tree next to his bed roll, runs off trying to see what it was, wild went back to making dinner, leaving reader and legend to themselves.  Reader looking up to legend motions him over to stand next to them.  legend , moving closer to them is now just at an arm's length away.  Suddenly , the conversations around the camp start to zone out of legends ears. Feeling safe and content with the person he's next to, the people around him. He just flops onto readers lap. Instantly falling asleep, scaring the chain.
Time , being the first of the 9 to notice, comes over to reader and asks “What happened?” his arm moving to legends neck to check for fever, breath, and pulse. Seeing that legend still had all the above, starts to chill out but still is expressing concern.
The other 8 finally  notice.
Reader is starting to freak out, they have an unconscious teenager on their lap, with no signs of sickness, why wouldn't they ?
slowly , twilight and sky , move to the sides of time who is standing in front of the panicking reader.
Next, and behind them, the rest if the chain huddles around. Saying a mix of “what happened?” “ why is he not waking up”?  That was mainly heard from wind  and just panicking words in general.
Twilight, remembering that legend had used the dark crystal a little more than usual; puts together the pieces. Remembering that this is just normal bunny behavior, nudges sky over to chat a little behind the commotion.
“He's fine,  remember he's been a rabbit for a little bit.. Longer than normal.”
“ oh.. Yea,” sky, not having  rabbits in his time, inquired, “is he really ok? Hes not waking up, not moving, responding to sound or touch? really ?”
“ yes, unbelievable as it is, it's just a side effect , it's normal really. He might have a few behavior changes for sometime, but he will be fine.”
Sky finally having some understanding of what's happening, slowly moves back to the small huddle of panicking heroes. Twilight not too far behind.
Sky finally moving towards reader , their legs have been well past asleep at this point.   Gettings inside the little huddle was a challenge having to push his way through. Finally getting in the group he , announces  to the chain that was past the point of going borderline insane, “he is fine he's just needed a little extra rest for a couple days,  and a little more attention, we don't know yet.” he states while grabbing legends limp body out of readers lap (which turned out to be  less of a challenge than he thought it would be.) carrying legend to his bedroll, while the good majority of the chain following (the younger members) twilight who was just behind sky takes reader by their shoulders and lifts them up of the ground. Dinner was well forgotten by now. Starting to burn slowly. The well being of the unconscious member being more of  a priority now.
After legend was laid down in his bedroll, it was suggested by twilight that maybe reader move theirs closer to his. That way when he wakes up he won't think they disappeared.   Doing as suggested , to prevent any further problems, reader moves their bed roll next to his.
As the night goes on , dinner has been served, commotion has died down , everyone seems fine , taking shifts for the night, people sleep.  everythings fine, until the morning comes. When legend wakes up he feels something missing , more like someone ( *cough* marin * cough*)  looking over to his side he finds the person who survived his little miss-hap of flopping. Noticing that they are still asleep he slowly shifts himself, just a bit. Closer to their bedroll, and passes out once again
The cycle starts again.

Wild slipped to the back of the group. They had been walking all day. More importantly, they had been talking all day. It had been loud and his head was starting from hurt from the forest noises and his brothers' boisterous laughter and sharp exclamations. His hand snuck up to the scar just by his neck, and his fingers searched for something in particular...
bap. Wild looks to Twilight, who had somehow made his way over just in time to smack Wild's hand away from his skin. "What was that for?!" Wild says it quietly.
"You know full well what that was for," Twi huffs.
Wild crosses his arms. "I didn't do anything."
"You almost did."
"Shut up."
The group keeps walking, eventually setting up camp. Wild spills stew on his tunic making dinner. He grabs a spare tunic and walks away to change, leaving the stew to simmer. He takes off his old tunic, and notices a scab on his arm. Before he even realizes what he's doing, his hand reaches up to it-
"Hey." Twilight's hand covers the scab. "Second time today. We've been over this."
Wild yanks his arm away. "I know, I know. I wasn't gonna-"
"Yes, you were." Twilight scowls and motions to the tunic in Wild's hand. "Finish changing and come back to camp." He turns and walks back to the rest of the chain.
Wild huffs and pulls the tunic on, before sullenly returning to camp. He checks the stew; perfectly cooked. He doles out the chain's portions before getting some for himself and sitting a little ways away from everyone. He doesn't want to talk. Besides, maybe this way things will seem a bit quieter.
This is quickly disrupted by Hyrule, who flops down next to him. Roolie's good, at least. He's not too loud.
"You good?" Hyrule asks, tilting his head. Oh no. Questions.
Wild shrugs. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just tired, is all." That's not all, he's still mad about earlier, but-
"Nothing to do with Twi?" Roolie smiles sympathetically. He's pretty good at figuring out people's issues. Especially Wild's.
He sighs. "A lot to do with Twi. I just, I know that it's bad for my skin, but does he have to be all-" he throw his hands up in the air, "-about it?! I'm trying, I swear, but-"
"You are trying," Roolie says. "I know you make a huge effort to take care of your skin. Doesn't Twi realize that?"
"Maybe," Wild shrugs. "I just think he doesn't realize that when he gets on me about it like that, he makes me anxious, which makes it worse-"
Hyrule puts an arm around him. "So, how should he remind you? Because you don't always realize you're doing it until it's too late."
"Yeah," Wild nods. "Maybe... asking what's wrong? Like, the underlying cause?"
"Like, what's making you more anxious?"
"Yeah."
"And you're okay with us still getting your hands away from it?"
Wild chuckles. "Yeah. Just don't smack me."
They laugh together and finish dinner, watching the rest of the chain listen to Time tell a story about an owl who wouldn't shut up.

Old friends not worth keeping
Whumptober 2024, Day 3: Set Up For Failure, Fingerprints, Wrongfully Arrested, "I warned you."
Summary: Legend’s past has come back to drag him into something he had thought to have left behind him. Time is not going to let that happen and he’s ready to risk his life to keep his boy in the new life and path he’s gained.
CW: Blood, getting beaten (both good guys and bad guys), framed for a crime, toxic friendship, cursing, threatening one’s family, murder, kidnapping, held hostage, fear of needles,
Notion: - Time does NOT have Fierce’s markings. He’ll get them MUCH later. Yet, he does have lost his right eye and there’s the scar over his right eye. - I am throwing in lot of stuff by police TV series as well as my own common sense. I have no idea if any of this would hit true or wise but it just seems like something that Time would certainly find worthy of doing to keep his boy safe and sound and have evidence of specific conversations and such. - Luck Bird = Siberian Jay - Expanding my (in AO3) story's “Snippets for Ranch Family” number 27: “I thought you, of all people, would understand why I did what I did.”. It changed a bit but in overall same stuff.
Legend’s name’s explanations: - Tariku means "his history, his story" in Amharic. (With this I thought about the word “legend”) - Derived from French, Beaumont translates to ‘beautiful mountain’, suggesting origins from a picturesque hill area. This surname likely originated from individuals residing near such scenic landscapes.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Time stood up straight from aiding Wind with his homework when he heard the front door opening and closing. “Just in time. The dinner’s ready in a moment.” He called while heading towards the door to check on the second boy he had adopted. Legend had been out with some friends but he had promised to return for the meal. None of the residents of the Lon-Lon Ranch wanted to miss Wild’s cooking.
The one eyed male jerked and gasped in shock the moment his gaze fell into the youngster. “LEGEND!” He screamed out and dashed over to the boy before already crouching down to get a better check on the bloodied face of his. “Dear Goddesses! The hell’s happened?!” He almost shouted while gently moving the younger one’s head to see the damage.
“T-Time…” Legend whispered with broken voice while crying.
“Sssh, you’re gonna be okay.” The owner of the ranch whispered before getting up. “Twilight, you’re in charge! Everyone stays inside until we’re back!” He commanded straight off while already grabbing his keys and jacket. “And you’re going to hospital on this second.” He stated out while getting swiftly ready to leave the house with the bleeding boy in the entry of the house.
“T-Time, please, no…” Legend begged while grabbing his arms. “Y-you gotta listen…” He pleaded before flinching as the sound of alarms of police cars approached. “I’m framed! I didn’t...!” He exclaimed before flinching again as the car doors were slammed shut. He jerked and hid behind the taller male when there was a very rough knock, almost like banging, on the door.
“Open up! This is the police!” The call came from the other side.
Time almost growled as he stood up. “Stay behind me.” He commanded while gently but firmly taking hold of the boy’s arm. He glanced behind when the four other youngsters came over in worry and slight fear. Their guardian swiftly showed to stay put before turning his notion to the door. “If you wish to get inside then calm the fuck down!” He commanded very roughly while knowing he certainly startled the people on the other side of the door.
Time very carefully opened the door before straight off backing away and making sure his wounded boy was behind him fully and thoroughly. The police opened the door roughly before their hard gaze already fell into the youngster hiding behind the one eyed male. “You’d better talk or I’ll sue you all for trespassing and cornering a wounded boy.” The ranch’s owner snarled and managed to snap the three guy’s gazes up into him.
“We are here to arrest Link Tariku Beaumont.” One of the men stated out.
Time almost smirked at that. “Sorry, no-one by that name lives in here.” He stated out firmly. “The kid you’re harassing at the moment is named as Legend LonRan. And he’s going to hospital and not to jail.” He started firmly while almost snarling the last line.
Legend was trembling behind his guardian while he got ready to leave the house. “Touch him and I’ll sue you all for harassment, assault, deprivation of liberty and denial of his guardian to stay by him.” He stated out roughly while glaring at the trio by his doorsteps. “Get the fuck off the way or I’ll add blocking one’s doorway into the list.” He growled while letting his harsh glare go from one police to another.
Surprisingly the trio moved off the way and let Time and Legend through. “Twilight, lock the door!” He commanded before pushing the door shut. He kept close check on the trio while making his way to his car and keeping Legend behind him.
“One of us rides with you two.” One of the police commanded.
Time couldn’t really do anything else than nod. Yet, his rough gaze almost froze the policeman to his place as he followed the duo. “Land your hand on my boy and I will defend him.” He warned with deathly cold voice. The policeman nodded in understanding and slumped beneath the one eyed male’s gaze.
“Don’t say a word, Legend.” Time advised as they got into the car and started to head out of the ranch. “We’ll need more people to hear your words so it won’t be just word against word.” He explained while feeling very slightly bit grateful when one of the police cars drove before them and one was behind. “Your friend better be leading to a hospital or you’re all in huge fucking trouble.” He told and the policeman on the backseat just nodded silently.
The police did escort them to the hospital and Time stayed by Legend whole time while making sure the police didn’t get anywhere near the youngster. He pushed his fear of needles out of the window and forced himself to stay still and not trembling and flinching as the wounds were being stitched. After all, it wasn’t him being fixed but his boy and he needed to be there for moral support at the moment.
Eventually Legend was laying on the hospital bed with Time sitting on the bed to stay as a blockage between the police and his boy. He had managed to keep the doctor and couple of the nurses by them too to listen the upcoming conversation of sorts. “I’m recording this conversation in case the proof will be needed.” The one eyed male stated out firmly while putting his phone into a charger to keep it alive as long as needed and put it to record. After that he took once a deep breath. “This is the conversation, or interrogation as you police would call it, between Legend LonRan, Sprite “Time” LonRan and the three policemen whom are… State your names and badge numbers, thank you.” He stared and the trio did as asked even though they were bit startled of how well Time was aware of the possible charges to throw in, the possible need of witnesses and recorded conversation along with everything else. Time gave out the date and the time before nodding to the three policemen. “So, what are the charges you are up for placing against Legend LonRan?”
The trio glanced at each other before gulping once. Something in this man guarding the one they should be arresting was terrifying. His whole demeanor was screaming for others to listen and follow his command. He was a clear leader and demanded for respect without saying or showing it.
“We are charging him with a robbery gone wrong.” One of the policemen finally started. “The owner of the small grocery shop was killed. He—“
“I DIDN’T DO THAT!” Legend screamed in near terror.¨
“Shush, Ledge.” Time commanded gently while raising his hand up. “Continue.” He stated out and nodded to the policemen.
“He was seen fleeing the crime scene. His fingerprints are all over the murder weapon.” Another policeman told while bit wondering why they were giving this much information already. Yet, no matter how he tried, he could feel himself shrink beneath the youngster’s guardian’s gaze.
“The cameras and the recorded videos were destroyed. There’s no evidence of there having been anyone else.” Third one told.
“Where this happened?” Time inquired surprisingly calmly and the trio gave out the address. “As far as I’m aware, there’s a camera or few on the opposite street as well as on the street behind the grocery shop. I know since I’ve been to that store few times.” He told firmly. “Have those been checked?” When the trio shook their heads. “In you place I’d check all possible ways to know the full truth. Not just what’s thrown at your face.” He tried to keep his voice calm and collected so he couldn’t be blamed for coercion of any kind. And still, this was his boy that was being accused of crimes. Yet, he soon sighed sorrowfully. “I am not going to make any assumptions but the old man was more often than not at there. I feel bad for this to have happened. My condolences to the deceased’s family and friends.”
The three policemen nodded in while taking in the real feeling of sorrow on both their perpetrator as well as his guardian. “The way we got the notion of the situation was through a silent alarm.” The first police told. “We followed the blood which brought us to the ranch.”
Time tried not narrow his gaze but he couldn’t help it. “The ranch is his home.” He stated out firmly. “And did it ever occur to you that he might’ve tried to help instead of being the perpetrator? He’s got checkered past he’s trying to get rid of so he freaked out.”
“You’re making things up.” The second police told while trying to stand against the leadership the boy’s guardian held. He still ended up gulping. “Considering his past, he was set up for failure from the very start. Young criminals do not change.” He claimed and ended up taking an unconscious step back when the one eyed male’s gaze hardened even more.
“As you wish.” Time replied and turned entirely different gaze into Legend. “Your turn, Legend. Tell the full truth from the moment you left home to having come back. Leave nothing out.” He requested with calm and warm voice. His gaze was reassuring and fond.
The caretaker of the Lon-Lon Ranch’s apple trees nodded. He still felt fearful of the police in the room but he also felt safe with Time right by him. He took once a deep breath and let it out slowly. “Actually, things started about a month ago.” He confessed uncertainly and bit shrunk underneath Time’s startled gaze. “I wasn’t aware of who was sending the texts so I ignored them. All the way until the threat came up.” He explained and slumped. “I should’ve told you.” He admitted sorrowfully while raising his gaze up. “I should’ve told you but I thought I could deal with this on my own. I didn’t…” He trailed off for a moment before dropping his gaze down. “I didn’t want you and my adopted brothers to end up tangled into my past life’s mess.” He said sorrowfully and quietly but making sure his words and voice would be recorded into Time’s phone. After this he took a deep breath and began to explain it all.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
“Don’t say you’ve forgotten us.”
Legend just frowned at the text message before shrugging. It might’ve just been either a scam or then a wrong number. Nonetheless, he wasn’t certain why he ended up saving it and storing in case more would appear. Maybe it was because there was some kind of familiarity in it that he couldn’t really figure out.
About a week later another message came. “You’re making a big mistake if you ignore us.” It sounded more threatening but Legend still decided to leave it off of his notion. He wondered a bit if he should inform Time about the message but he shrugged it off. The ranch’s owner was on a mission at the moment while counting on his boys to behave and do things right. The caretaker of the ranch’s apple trees didn’t want to divert his guardian’s notion from the work he was handling. He had a feeling it could’ve ended up as deadly situation and he didn’t want to risk it for any of reason. After that, though, he forgot the messages even existed.
Another week and another message. “We know where you live.” Legend shuddered at the short line before shaking his head. Lot of people knew he lived at the ranch. He had few acquaintances at the school whom certainly had his number and were aware of where he could be found. Yet, he didn’t delete it. He just saved it and kept it in the thread of the earlier messages. After that he went outside and smiled as he saw his family that had adopted him almost two years ago. It had grown by three members since he was adopted.
Fourth week and Legend nearly stopped breathing as he read the message. “Ignore this and you will see your beloved apple trees go up in flames. Talk to your “family” and you can watch them die. Tell to the cops and we will make sure your “brothers” and “caretaker” will face their worst nightmares if and when the death arrives.” His hands were shaking and he was grateful of being in the house alone at the moment. He couldn’t mess his four brothers and Time into this. He gulped once and finally replied into the message.
“Who the fuck are you to throw in this kind of threats?!”
“You know perfectly well who we are. Or have you forgotten your TEAM?”
Legend stared horrified at his phone and that one simple reply. He recalled the TEAM easily even though he really wished he didn’t. The trio he had been with while he had been at the orphanage had been far from the company he would’ve wanted. If Time hadn’t come to there the day he did, he would’ve lost his chances of changing his life around.
Legend nearly jumped out of his skin when the next text arrived. “You OWE to us, Link. Meet us at the giant tree in the town’s park at five.” He checked the clock and gulped once. He only got an hour to reach the place in time. He needed to run.
Legend dashed out of his room and down to the first floor. He quickly grabbed his jacket and put the shoes on before already bit fumbling with the keys before getting out. He locked the door before checking around in search of anyone he could tell he’d leave the ranch for a while. “Time!” He called and really, really wished he could’ve told about the situation to him.
“Got school work done?” The one eyed male inquired as Legend ran to him.
“Yeah….” Legend replied while feeling entirely scared and nervous. “Can I go to meet few friends of mine?” He inquired while partly wishing Time would deny it.
“Sure. Just be back by eight for meal.” The ranch’s owner replied calmly before bit frowning as he noticed something being off. “Something wrong?” He inquired while crouching down to Legend’s eyelevel. “You know you can tell me anything.”
Legend hesitated for a second before he hugged Time tightly. “All’s fine. I’ll be back in time.” He told and pulled off before Time had a chance to return the hold. After that he ran. “I’m bit late! I gotta go fast!” He shouted as an explanation while glancing once behind with a grin.
“I’m on my way. I can’t make it to five since I don’t have a car or other means of traveling than just my own feet.” Legend swiftly texted while wishing the trio would accept it. It took a moment which he almost used to hold his breath in before the reply arrived.
“Fine. You got time only until half past five. Be here or you will be sorry.”
Legend sighed a bit in relief for the extra half an hour. It wasn’t much but it would keep his family safe and sound. And so he ran as fast as he could even though he knew he wouldn’t be able to keep running all the way to the right spot.
When Legend finally reached the park, he was so thoroughly exhausted and out of breath but he couldn’t stop for long. He stopped only long enough to check his phone’s battery, hope for it to last long enough and put the recorder on. He needed the proof of this conversation no matter what. After that he took once a deep breath and ran again. He only had about ten minutes to reach the giant tree in middle of the park by the small pond.
“Well, well, well… Got here just in time, I see.” The leader of the trio smirked as Legend reached them and doubled over while gasping for air like a fish on dry land. He gasped when the second guy gave him a simple jolt and he lost his balance by that. The trio laughed at his inability to stay upright and defend himself.
“We’ve been keeping eye on you, Link.” The leader spoke after having crouched down. “And we’ve done bit of checking on your so called brothers.” He continued while his voice got crueler with a wicked smirk. “You want to know what we’ll do if you mess them or the cops into the plans of us four?”
Legend gulped while trying to catch his breathing. He trembled a bit underneath the rough gaze. He didn’t dare to nod or shake his head. He just simply waited while knowing the two years older male would talk regardless of his choice.
The older male smirked at the mess he had made out of his old friend. “I’ll go this in the order that guy’s gathered your brothers.” He stated out and began to count with his fingers just to mock-count the boys living at the ranch. “Twilight shall be ripped apart by ferocious wolves. Wild will be burned alive. Wind faces the death by drowning. Sky can see if he can fly when dropped from high building.”
“P-please… D-don’t…. D-don’t hurt them.” Legend begged while knowing that those were the worst ways for his brothers to face death. Twilight loved wolves and held them as his protectors. Wild had been tried to be burned alive before he had ended up into the orphanage from where Time had found him. Wind’s parents had drowned at sea. Sky’s father had been an avian. Wishes, fears and believes. Legend couldn’t even imagine any of those to be turned against his family.
“And what about that caretaker of yours, then?” The youngster continued and his smirk widened as Legend gulped. “I’ve heard he got a phobia. A needle fear, to be exact.” He stated out and chuckled cruelly. “I know few who would gladly take living human to be experimented on. Lots of needles, you know.”
Legend shuddered violently at the thought of Time being forced into dealing with needles like that. He and his brothers had witnessed their caretaker’s fear several times by now due to blood tests, vaccinations and such. He was there for each of them but it had been clear he hadn’t been comfortable around the needles. In fact, he was nearly panicked while doing everything he could to keep them calm and collected. He had claimed it to be mild case but it was clear that was a pure lie. Yet, even when they tried to keep him from being there, he kept telling he’d be there for his boys just to make sure none of them were hurt and things were done correctly. Each of the five adopted sons wished they were returning the favor as they made it clear they’d be there for him too during those medical moments.
Legend gulped once while having managed to sit up and ease out his breathing a bit. “W-what do you want of me?” He inquired while fearing for the answer. The trio could’ve continued their lives as crooks without him. He had no idea why they wanted to drag him back into the life at the wrong side of the law.
The leader’s gaze hardened and Legend slumped even more. “You left us just when we had planned a big one. It would’ve been a huge milestone on our road.” He snarled nearly raged. “So, you owe us. And so, we have a heist planned. You will be the center of it.” The leader stated out with a smirk. “Move.” He commanded and roughly yanked Legend up from the ground. “You’ll learn more when we reach the place.”
Legend had no other choice than to follow as the leader led the way and the duo made sure he wouldn’t escape. “Everyone got initiation ceremony for new members. Or, in this case, for old members.” The leader told calmly while making his way through the dark day and roads lighted by streetlights. Eventually they stopped and he nodded towards the small grocery store on the opposite street. “Our target.” He simply told and smirked. “You do remember how things go, right?” He half inquired with a wicked grin.
Legend reluctantly nodded while slumping. He had wished to have gotten out of this shit. Back in the orphanage he had been the lookout and the destroyer of the cameras as he had keen eyes to notice them. At least his work would be the least trouble causing and maybe giving a chance to escape.
“Yeah, well, things change this time around.” The leader stated out almost airily. “This time you’ll be in middle of the action.” He smirked and waved his hand to give a mark to his followers as he began to approach the shop. “Cameras. Lookout. You with me, Link.” He commanded out and half forced the reluctant member of their group into the place. The other two spread out the moment they were inside.
Legend watched fearfully around while feeling tad grateful that there weren’t any customers. He feared what this trio would’ve done to them if there had been innocent shoppers around. He was trembling as the leader of the group just forced him towards the cashier, an old and kind looking man. “How may I help you lads?” He inquired as calmly as he could while noticing how terrified Legend was looking.
When the leader of the group glanced around to check that his teammates were in right places and handled their jobs, the owner of the place accidentally dropped a pen to the floor. “Oops.” He half chuckled and bent down to pick it just to press the silent alarm on. At least he was hoping to aid the reluctant youngster that might’ve been the trio’s hostage at the moment.
The leader of the group put two sets of gloves on and drew out a knife. Just as the man stood back up, the head of the group of teenagers attacked Legend. He slashed and stabbed with the knife, kicked and punched. Legend screamed and tried to fight back but he had been taken too roughly off guard to be capable of really defending himself.
The shopkeeper gasped and dashed around the counter while having grabbed a baseball bat from the lower shelf. He swung it but the group’s leader had waited for it and swiftly grabbed hold of it. He moved quickly and yanked the weapon off of the man’s hold. He tackled the shopkeeper next to Legend while smirking.
The leader expression was almost devilishly delighted while turning towards Legend and forcing the knife into his hand before taking tight hold of his fist and keeping the hand shut around the weapon. After that he yanked the youngster upwards before already making him to stab the shopkeeper. The youngster whom loved rabbits over all other animals stared horrified as the group’s leader forced him to keep stabbing the old man over and over again into the chest.
Eventually the leader let go of Legend and smirked as his former team member broke down and desperately tried to help the murdered man. “If you talk about us, you know what will happen to that ranch and the people living at there.” The leader snarled with a smirk. “We’ll see you again after you’ve dealt with the cops.” He chuckled cruelly and turned towards his loyal followers. “Grab what you want, boys! We’re leaving!” He commanded before pulling the top gloves off while knowing his fingerprints weren’t on them. He dropped them next to the youngster and left the shop with his real team.
Legend was crying and shaking while knowing he couldn’t save the man anymore. Suddenly the police cars came screeching in to the area. He scrambled up to his feet and freaked out. He didn’t think twice as he dashed out of the place through the backdoor. The only reason he was running was the fact that he needed to keep his family safe and sound. And yet, without really meaning to, his feet carried him back to the ranch. To the only place he had ever felt safe and sound.
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
Once Legend was done explaining and having broken down, Time moved closer to him and gently hugged him. He whispered comforting and reassuring words while doing all he could to show that everything would be okay and he didn’t blame or hate him. Sure, he wasn’t entirely approving of how things had gone but he understood it nonetheless.
The policemen listened silently to the explanation before glancing at each other. “I’m afraid we still need to take him in.” The third police told and tried not to tremble. “He might end up wrongfully arrested now but we need to check all the evidence to see his claims to stick true and interrogate him again. To get things, um… More properly recorded as you probably understand.” He explained as well as he could.
Time’s gaze was hard when he turned to look that the trio from police forces. “He is not a liar.” He did his best to keep his snarl off of his voice. “Honesty and truth are one of the main rules to living with me at the ranch.” He stated out firmly.
“At the moment we are keeping our minds open.” The first policeman told as calmly as he could while raising his hands up in calming manner. “We need to do things correctly. His phone will be marked as evidence. The texts and the recorded conversation will be important in finding the truth.” He explained while bit calming down as Legend’s guardian seemed to calm down a bit. “Yet, for doing everything right, we would need to take him in.” He half apologized and glanced at the doctor and the couple of nurses in the room. “Is he safe to be held in a prison for the night?” He inquired and the hospital’s staff nodded.
“Yes. His wounds have been tended and there is no notion for concussion.” The doctor told and ignored the slight glare he got from the one eyed male. “I am only here for listening and giving medical information.” He told while raising his hands to show he meant no harm.
Time sighed heavily and nodded in understanding. “Alright. But, on one condition.” He nearly snapped while just barely being capable of keeping his voice calm. “I will stay with him.” He told firmly, almost commandingly. “He is underage.” He reminded with a slight grin. “And hence, as his guardian, I will not let him be in the prison alone.”
“Time…” Legend called worriedly while feeling contradicted about the situation.
“Don’t worry, Ledge. I got this.” Time assured gently. “I’ll call Twilight in a moment and let them know. I’ll be right by you whole time.” He promised with certain and soft voice. Legend calmed down a bit and relaxed slightly while nodding in understanding.
The trio of policemen glanced at each other. “That’s… We need to speak with our Commander about this.” The second police said bit uncertainly.
“If your Commander doesn’t want a lawsuit then I’ll be let to be with Legend.” Time stated out firmly. The three policemen glanced at each other before nodding firmly. The ranch’s owner turned his gentle gaze into Legend. “You ready to leave?” He inquired softly while inwardly feeling far more safer at the hospital at the moment than at where they’d be going. It bit surprised him as he had never liked hospitals even one bit.
“Y-yeah…” Legend half stammered with a nod.
Time smiled reassuringly at him and gently hugged him. “Alright. I’ll call Twilight real quick to let the boys know of the situation.” He told while reaching for his phone but stopping midway. “Actually, can I use your phone, Ledge? Need to keep the recording going.” He half requested and the younger male nodded firmly before reaching for his phone. Time kept close check on the police so they wouldn’t do anything rash just because his boy was retrieving a phone.
“I hope it still has enough of battery in it for the call.” Legend told while opening it up and giving it to Time.
“No worries. I’ll just put it on my charger for now.” Time replied calmly and took his own phone off the charger and plugged Legend’s phone into it. After that he dialed Twilight’s number while letting the police see what he was doing.
“LEDGE! ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?!” Twilight’s scream came nearly instantly from the other side of the phone.
“All’s fine for now.” Time replied calmly on his boy’s behalf. “You’re on speaker since the situation’s bit sensitive at the moment.” He explained while glancing at the policemen. He was grateful that the trio was staying silent at the moment. “Listen, I and Legend won’t be coming back for tonight. You’re in charge, Twilight, until we do get back”
“Time, what’s going on?”
“Just few… mistakes that need to be cleared off.” Time answered as calmly as he could while not wanting to explain things too clearly. “Twi, I’ll be sending few things to your e-mail for safekeeping but do NOT touch them. Just let them be there. And, hope those are not needed. After everything’s dealt with, I will ask you to destroy them.” He told firmly.
“O-okay…. W-what are they going to be about?”
“Don’t worry about that. We’ll explain everything once we get back home. Until then…” He trailed off for a moment before bit grinning. “You four can be out of school for tomorrow. Stay at the ranch and look after each other.” He chuckled a bit at the squeals of happiness at the background. “I’ll clear everything when we get back home.” He promised calmly while trying to keep things under control.
“Goodnight, bros! I’ll hopefully see you guys tomorrow.” Legend called as calmly as he could.
“Hopefully? What’s that supposed to mean?” Sky’s worried voice cut through between the goodnight wishes.
“It means that this might take a bit more than just one day to clear.” Time replied calmly. “Things will be all right, though. I promise.” He swore firmly. “Anyway, we gotta get going or this’ll be harder to get done. Sleep well, boys, and don’t worry too much.” He spoke fondly with a small smile on his lips. “Just plan for tomorrow and enjoy the day off.” He reminded and knew he was at least bit averting their notion off of the current situation going on with their brother. Yet, he knew they’d still worry even though they were aware of him being there to clear things off.
After the last goodnight wishes, Time finally cut the call off and, with the police watching, send the text messages and the recorded conversations Legend had told about in his explanation just a moment ago into Twilight’s e-mail. “Just in case. I will send this current conversation later on. Until then I will keep it recording.” He stated out while making sure the e-mail got through until giving the phone to the police to be marked as evidence.
One of the nurses left for a moment only to return back with some food for the patient and his caretaker. It would be the only food they’d get before next day so it was gratefully accepted. Sure, it wasn’t as good as what Wild could do but it was enough to be ready to face what was coming.
Only a while later from there Time thanked the doctor and the nurses for having been there before following the police. He kept Legend right by him and out of the trio’s hold. It was bit of a surprise that they hadn’t even tried to handcuff Legend but then again Time certainly would’ve made it clear such wasn’t needed.
Surprisingly, Time was allowed to drive his car to the police station with Legend on the passenger’s seat and one of the policemen on the backseat. He kept his phone on charger while making certain the one with them was aware of the recording still being on. When they finally reached the place and gave out their things, Time finally stopped the recording and sent the copy of it to Twilight’s e-mail. He waited long enough to make sure the long recording had fully gone through without trouble. Only after that he gave his phone to the police and followed Legend into the prison cell.
“Take the bed, Specialist.” Time stated out while sitting down next to the hard thing. “You’ll need the rest even though that’s not worth sleeping in. Tomorrow’s going to be rough.” He commented before taking off the shirt.
“Time?” Legend half queried worriedly and bit frowning at his guardian’s actions.
“Here. Take it. I know it’s not much but bit of warmth anyways.” Time told while offering the shirt. “After all there’s no blanket in here.” He pointed out while crossing his arms over his chest and leaning his head bit against the wall. He gave a slight grin at the concerned look the younger male was giving him. “Don’t worry about me. I’ve slept in worse places than this.”
“You wanna tell?” Legend inquire while bit unwillingly laying down to the bed and having Time’s shirt bit like a blanket over him.
Time chuckled a bit and smiled slightly. “Worst places to sleep in, huh?” He mused before tad shrugging. “When I was ten I lived one year at the streets and on the road until I found my way to the ranch.” He started quietly before chuckling. “Worst place to sleep is probably a dumpster. Luckily I woke up before the garbage truck came at the next day. It could’ve crushed me back then. They pretty much screamed curses and whatnot after me when I bolted the hell out of there.”
Legend stared startled at his caretaker and Time just shrugged. “Another place not worth sleeping in is rocky bank of a river. Not comfortable even one bit.” He continued while thinking back to that year in hopes of finding the areas he’s slept at.
“Shit. You had it rough.” Legend half whispered while bit pushing himself upwards to see Time better. The older male just shrugged.
“Eh, it might sound rough but it wasn’t all that bad.” Time replied with a small sorrowful smile. “Wars had taught me all I needed for survival.” He replied with a slight fond smile.
“Your older brother?” Legend partly inquired while knowing that Time had mentioned the older boy several times. Still, the one eyed male wasn’t as open about his past as he got his boys to be. Nonetheless, he talked if someone asked or if it would help the five with what they were dealing with.
Time nodded quietly while falling to his memories. “Not by blood, though.” He whispered quietly. “I doubt I’d be alive if he hadn’t saved my ass so many times.” He chuckled a bit with a slight grin. “Helped me to escape the orphanage.” He told before sighing heavily. “Never thought that’d be the last day I’d see him.”
“I’m sorry.” Legend replied sorrowfully. He really wished he could’ve turned back time and change it. He honestly wished he could’ve saved Time from the hell he had gone through in his past.
Time shook his head and waved his hand dismissively. “Nothing to be sorry for.” He told calmly and smiled fondly at Legend. “So, change of topic. How’s the apple trees? You gave them a check in the morning but I didn’t get to talk with you about them.”
Legend blinked bit startled before chuckling. Time grinned and just bit tilted his head while waiting for an answer. “They’re good. Waiting for the snow to fall down.” He replied fondly. “With the chance of feeding the wild rabbits, I don’t need to really fence the trees.” He mused happily.
“Plus you get to spend time with them.” Time filled in the unsaid thing with a mischievous grin. Legend blinked and blushed a bit. The one eyed male chuckled slightly and gently started to run his fingers through his boy’s hair. “Just get some rest, Ledge. You’ll need it.” He partly requested and smiled fondly as Legend yawned and laid down onto the bed. “I’ll guard you. I promise I won’t let anyone hurt you anymore.” He swore quietly while aiding his boy to sleep.
Time didn’t sleep much on that night even though he did try. He just woke up to any small sound while making sure Legend slept as peacefully as possible. Still, he worried more at the moment about one of his boys would call him in middle of the night than of anything else. He had left a text to Twilight telling that he might not be possible of catching by phone during the night. Yet, he hadn’t informed a reason for it while just telling he’d explain everything once Legend’s situation would be cleared off. Still, he pretty much requested for the police to bring his phone over in case any of the four boys of his, Twilight, Wild, Wind or Sky, would call him.
Time woke Legend up when he heard the police coming over. They both stretched a bit before the one eyed male put his shirt back on. Yet, instead of being fetched for questioning, they were brought some breakfast. The one eyed male requested his phone back at least for a while since, after all, he wasn’t arrested but just keeping Legend safe. He was fully grateful when his phone was brought over and he swiftly checked the texts and phone calls while tad relaxing as none of his boys had tried to reach him. He gave his phone back after that while having let the police guard see what he actually was doing.
Couple of hours before Legend would be taken to questioning, one of guards brought in a ringing phone. “That’s Wild calling! Please?” Time almost begged and sighed in relief when he was given the phone. He quickly answered into the call while putting it into speaker to let the policewoman know the situation. “Hey, Wild. How’s it going? Also, you’re on speaker just so you’re aware.”
“Hi. All’s fine in here.” Wild replied while the sound of kitchen noise was on the background. “Just making breakfast and wanting to know if you and Legend are coming for dinner today.”
“Whatcha making?” Time inquired while feeling curious of what the boys were getting for morning food. “And, well, it’s early to say. Depends on how things go. I’ll try to inform you about how things go but I wouldn’t hold my breath over it.” He replied while tad fearing how long the interrogation would be and what would be the end result of it.
“Okay.” Wild replied cheerily. “Just some bacon and eggs. Nothing too fancy this time around.” He told while cracking the said eggs.
“Alright. Sounds good. I’ll leave you to it. Love you, Wild. Tell to the others that I love them too.” Time told before bit grinning as Legend piped in his love greetings too. They ended the call after that and Time nodded his thanks to the guard.
Eventually the duo was at the interrogation room. Legend was quite well a nervous wreck while Time stayed right by him. The one eyed male did his best to calm his boy down and reminded to keep telling the full truth. As things progressed, it started to be quite clear that he wouldn’t be charged with anything while more of wanting to get information on the trio that had actually been at fault of the crime done.
Suddenly one of the police knocked on the door before coming in with ringing phone. Time almost jerked and made a move to get up before remembering where he was. “That’s Twilight’s ringtone. He only calls if there’s some kind of problem going on. Please?” He spoke nearly desperately while looking almost pleadingly at the duo keeping the interrogation which was more of a conversation than accusing one.
Other one of the duo nodded and bit grinned. “You could’ve kept your phone.” She told while the phone was handed over to Time.
“Just wanting to make things the right way.” Time replied before already straight off answering into the phone. “Hi, Twi! How’s it going? Oh, and just to let you know, you’re on the speaker.” He forced to keep his voice calm and collected.
“Time, there’s some guys at the yard.”
Time’s blood turned into ice by that information. He glanced at Legend whom was staring terrified at the phone and just barely breathing. The one eyed male forced to keep himself collected. “What guys? Did they inform of having come over?”
“There’s three of them. And no, we just noticed them lurking around.”
“Are your brothers by you?” Time straight off asked while knowing his concern and fear seeped into his voice.
“Yeah. We’re together.”
“Stay indoors. Be out of their notion. Stay together whole time.” Time commanded while sending a pleading look to the three policepersons in the room. “Keep eye on them. Wind, if you can, take a picture of them. Do NOT interact with them.”
“Time, what’s going on?”
“The police will come over to chase them off. Just stay calm, together and keep notion of them.” Time ignored the question while doing his best to keep the four boys of his calm and safe. He wished he was back at the ranch so he could chase those fools out of there by himself.
“Send a picture of them. I need to know if I know them.” Legend suddenly told while giving Time apologetic look. He was at the fault of this mess. He was entirely terrified that the trio would realize that he had ratted them out.
“Legend? Honestly, who are they and what’s going on?”
“I just sent the picture. I hope it’s good enough.” Wind told while having done his best to get the trio as perfectly as he could into the photo.
Time’s phone gave out info of the message and he swiftly worked the picture out. Legend gulped and paled as he stared at the trio in the photo. He was trembling and barely breathing as he simply gave a nod of recognition.
“I think they’re leaving.” Wild told while being somewhere between relief and worry.
Time glanced at Legend whom simply nodded into the silent inquiry. “As you know, Legend’s past is bit checkered. Those three you just saw have gotten him into trouble we’re fixing as we speak. The police can give a check around the ranch just to make sure they’re gone.” He explained firmly while knowing the ranch is quite huge and there’s lot of good hiding places. “Stay alert and don’t go around alone. Let me know if any of you notice anything at all out of normal. Call me when the police arrives.”
Time sighed heavily when the call ended after bit of reassurances and calming down. “Those three need to be caught. They’re threat to my family.” He stated out and the two police handling the so-called interrogation nodded in agreement. After that they resumed into getting as much of information from Legend as possible about the group. About an hour after they had continued the conversation, Twilight called again. Time demanded to know the name and badge number of the police whom had arrived to Lon-Lon Ranch. Luckily the police at the station confirmed their names, badge numbers and faces from the picture Wind took of them. That calmed the one eyed male a bit and the police actually stayed to keep eye on the ranch as well as they could.
“They know now for certain.” Legend said defeated.
“The quicker they are caught, the better.” Time replied and pulled Legend into a hug. “It’ll be okay. I promise we all will be safe. This’ll end sooner than you think.”
“Agreed.” The policewoman stated out firmly and got the duo’s notion into her. “We need to plan a way to catch these guys. Are you willing to meet with them again with a wire?”
“NO.” Time almost snarled and startled the duo. “He will not be wired in any of way. They already beat him and are certainly aware he’s given them out.” He stated out before bit grinning as an idea came in. “Even though I don’t want Legend anywhere near those bastards, I might have an idea.”
“Time….” Legend called bit fearfully and gulped once. “I… I’ll do whatever it takes to take them down. Please?” He almost begged even though he really wasn’t up for facing the trio ever again.
Time sighed heavily and nodded. “When you’re up for facing them, call me. Keep the line open so I and the police will hear the conversation. It’ll be recorded for later usage.”
“I think that’ll be perfect idea. Safer too.” The policewoman nodded while thinking it through. With that they finally left the interrogation room into somewhere much nicer. Both Legend and Time were actually given their stuff back as the youngster wasn’t charged with anything. That was a huge relief to them both and gave them a chance to really start to plan with the police on how to get the group of three crooks caught.
As Legend finally made the call and set up the meeting, Time couldn’t help but be scared to death about the whole thing. He had been eyeing the sky whenever he had a chance but he hadn’t seen even a glimpse of the Luck Bird. That was a huge bad omen for the whole thing but he knew that the sooner they’d get the bastards down, the better. And yet, with the trio having been sighted by his boys at the ranch…
Legend feared the meeting as much as Time did. They waited for the clock to tick them closer to the meeting and each passing second only worried the one eyed male more. He absentmindedly ran his fingers through Legend’s hair while the boy was sitting on the ground in front of him. They were at the moment at the small park within the police station’s area and Time desperately tried to find the small bird of bronze and silver. And yet, the avian just refused to appear. He didn’t even hear its calls.
“I don’t like this, Rabbit.” Time whispered while letting his gaze search the few trees around them.
“I know.” Legend replied quietly while keeping his eyes closed and tried to stay calm. “The bird’s not here. It’s not giving any good luck by staying hidden.”
“I feel like we should postpone this whole shit.” Time told fearfully and the younger male opened his eyes to look at him. The ranch’s owner sighed heavily and slumped. “And yet, we can’t. The police is setting things ready. The meeting’s within an hour. The sooner we get them down, the sooner we all will be safe and sound.” He whispered and shook his head. “They wouldn’t care about Luck Birds and such. It’s just superstition to them.” He almost mumbled while praying for the bird to show up but he already knew it. Even the boys back at Lon-Lon Ranch hadn’t seen the flying animal.
“I’ll be careful, Time. I promise.” Legend swore as confidently as he could. Time just nodded while still searching for the creature that would ease his worries and tell everything would go perfectly fine. And yet, it evaded him fully and thoroughly at that day.
Eventually the time ran out and the plan was put into motion. Time gave Legend one last tight hug and few reassuring words before staying with the police. The youngster made the call and the one eyed male put his phone onto the counter with the speaker on. He made sure to record it while keeping his phone in the charger even though he was certain the police was recording the call too with their own devices. The police also kept tracking Legend’s phone to know where he was going.
The old and abandoned warehouse at the outskirts of the town was a perfect place for hiding. Legend took a deep breath to calm down before entering the dimly lit area. He shivered at the coolness of the place and tried not to show his fear. There was lot of stuff around the place which all gave perfect hiding areas for anyone and anything. “I’m here!” He called out as loudly as he could after reaching the middle of the area while looking around and trying to be alert and ready for anything.
“I warned you.” The leader of the group almost snarled as he and his team came into sight. “I warned you not to give us out but you snitched us the moment you had a chance.” He sneered before smirking and nodding once to show to his followers to come into sight. “I told you you’ll pay if you turn your back on us. You did it back in the orphanage and you did it now. Back then we couldn’t really punish you but now…” He smirked as the duo of his dragged struggling Wild into sight.
“WILD!” Legend screamed out in terror. “Let him go! He has nothing to do with this!” He growled while fisting his hands.
“Oh, the contrary.” The leader of the crooks smirked. “He’s important to you so he’s the one who’ll be the payment of your failures.” He told and brought out a lighter before already lighting it up. “I told you he’ll go up in flames. And you can watch.”
Wild was trembling in absolute terror as his gaze caught the notion of the fire and he heard the words. He tried to struggle even harder while desperately trying to get away from the flame. Eventually he just shut his eyes and waited for the hell to start.
“NOOO!” Legend screamed in rage and terror as he lunged forward. He struck the lighter out of the guy’s hand before already punching one of the two holding Wild. “FIGHT!” He commanded even though he wasn’t sure at all if Wild was in the condition of even thinking about fighting back or if he even knew how to fight. Either way, the youngster struggled and tried to pull himself free. Legend swiftly punched the bastard into side before almost ripping Wild off of the guy’s hold.
The moment Legend screamed out the name of one of his brothers, Time was already out of the van and running. He was not going to wait for the police to handle this situation. He knew the place and his terror and rage were fueling his speed. Nothing would keep him from defending and protecting his boys.
By the time the one eyed male crashed through the door of the warehouse, Legend was keeping Wild behind him while slowly backing away. The trio was in an arc before him while smirking cruelly. They held knives in their hands while just waiting for a chance to attack.
“STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM THEM!” Time roared as the five in the area had glanced behind them at the slamming of the door. “LOOK OUT!” He screamed out the warning as the trio attacked. Luckily Wild reacted faster than Legend and pulled his brother backwards out of the first slash’s way. They began to back away again as quickly as they could before giving out a startled scream as Time suddenly was right there and yanked them roughly behind him.
The owner of the Lon-Lon Ranch glared cruelly at the trio while already responding to the attacks. The moment he was in front of his boys, he turned around while just barely avoiding one slash from his side as he kicked the middle one as hard as he could and grabbed the third guy’s knife arm while delivering cruel punch into his face. Right after that he moved to his side to stay fully between the bad guys and the second and third adopted son of his. He grabbed the guy he had first avoided and kneed him into stomach. After that he kept facing the trio while forcing his boys to continue backing away. “Stay down.” He commanded with a cruel snarl. “Otherwise you’ll awaken the demon within me. And trust me, you do not want that.” He growled out his promise.
The trio groaned in pain but they stood back to their feet while glaring at Time. “Big mistake.” The leader smirked and, with the duo by him mimicking his action, reached for his pocket before already drawing out several needles.
Time visibly flinched and gulped once as he saw the items he was so thoroughly terrified of. He tried not to tremble while tearing his gaze off of the things in hopes of getting ready for the continuation of the battle. “Legend, Wild, get out.” He commanded while just barely being able to speak with the lump in his throat.
“Time…” Wild whispered fearfully while fully understanding what was going on.
“Get out.” Time commanded again with bit more strength. “I can’t fight with you two here. Go! Please.” He partly snapped, partly begged while still keeping the duo behind him and backing towards the doorway that would’ve led into safety.
When the two boys finally understood the situation, Legend nodded and turned around. He started to run and drag Wild along even though they both would’ve loved to help and even the battle out but he knew they couldn’t. Wild wasn’t a fighter and Legend wasn’t in the condition of fighting. Those few moves he had done were already causing rough pain in his yesterday gained wounds.
The moment the group of crooks’ targets turned around and ran, they attacked. Time did his best to ignore the almost crippling fear the needles were causing as he fought to hold the trio off from going after his boys. He grit his teeth and just growled when the knifes slashed and stabbed as the trio understood to need to get through him first. He gasped and flinched roughly while beginning to tremble as the needles were plunged into his arms. The trio smirked as they thought their opponent would be easy to deal with.
Yet, the trio had never faced anyone like the ranch’s owner before. The one eyed male was more than ready to go to hell and back again as many times as needed to protect those he loved. He had already lost so much that he held on to what he had with all he got. And right now he was kicking and punching while grabbing the guys and forcefully throwing them back to keep them from getting past him.
By the time the police finally came into there, Time was bleeding and trembling while breathing shakily and heavily. The trio laid on the ground before him fully beaten but still conscious. “If you ever again get anywhere near my boys, I swear this day was only a warning. You do not want to see what I’m capable of.” He growled as the trio were hoisted up by the police after having handcuffed them.
As the trio was dragged towards the police cars to be taken to prison, the leader’s raged and cruel gaze locked into Legend. “You betrayed your TEAM!” He snarled out and tried to pull himself free but luckily the police held strongly enough to keep him from escaping.
Legend’s gaze was rough as he answered into the given look. Yet, he soon huffed and turned his gaze off. “It wasn’t a team to begin with. It was just bunch of fools trying to be something they’re not.” He replied as calmly as he could. “I’m not the kind of guy you thought I’d be.” He continued with a slight smile. “And I’m glad of that.” He stated out before nudging Wild towards the warehouse’s door. “Time saved me just in time.” He thought happily while being more than eager to get back to his caretaker.
Once the three crooks were out, Time gasped and crashed to the floor. He wanted to whimper but he kept the sound locked deep within him. He desperately wanted to get the needles off of him but he couldn’t get his trembling hands to move. “TIME!” The shout snapped him out of his near panic and he scrambled around to see two of his boys dashing towards him.
“Legend! Wild!” The one eyed male half shouted and got almost knocked over as the duo crashed in for a hug. “Sssh, it’s okay. Everything’s okay now.” He whispered while desperately wanting to hug them back but not daring to with the needles still being so visibly seen. “I’d hug you back if I could.” He half apologized while carefully pushing the duo off of him to get a full check on them. “Are you two all right?”
“We’re okay but you’re not.” Legend stated as firmly as he could while crying and feeling fully at fault. “I should’ve told you the moment the first message came.” He mumbled in shame.
“Maybe but the first one wasn’t that of bad.” Time replied while gently kissing the forehead of both of his boys. He forced himself back to his feet and gently turned the duo around. “Come on, I probably should make a visit to the hospital and you two are coming with me. I’m not leaving either of you out of my sight.” He told while concentrating into the duo with him instead of his own condition and his needle fear.
Once the three of them were out of the warehouse, one of the policepersons from the van approached them. “You probably want this back.” She told while offering the one eyed male his phone back. Time smiled a bit and nudged Wild a bit whom swiftly took the phone and the charger for safekeeping on his guardian’s stead. “You probably should take the ambulance ride to hospital. The duo can certainly go with you.” She told while starting to lead them towards the help.
Time held back the whimpers and any pained sounds that threatened to make their way out of him as the needles were removed. He tried to stop trembling but as long as those things were in his sight, he couldn’t help but feel the fear of them being used against him again. He barely noticed as the knife wounds were being treated. Yet, what he desperately tried to really concentrate into was the two boys of his by him. The moment he was given the rights, he already pulled the duo into a tight hug.
Once at the hospital and having had both of his boys checked just in case, Time finally calmed down. He held the duo close while whispering reassuring words. After a while the police brought in Wind and the youngest of Time’s boys had just dashed to the bed, scrambled onto it and crawled to his brothers and caretaker. With Wind safe and sound with them, Wild gave the statement to the police about what had happened.
Wild told that he and Wind had been at grocery store to get something special for the day off. The cook-to-be had been attacked by the trio and easily been overpowered. Wind had been at different aisle but before the three had noticed him, the boy had dashed out of there and straight to the police station. By the time the help had arrived, the four were already gone. Wind had stayed with the police for safety reasons while being worried sick and terrified.
With Wind, Wild and Legend safely with him, Time called Twilight to inform of the situation. The police luckily was willing to fetch the rest of the boys to be reunited with their family. After everyone was on that one bed, the ranch’s owner and Legend told the whole situation through with the youngster doing most of the talking. After that, while fully ignoring the bandages and stitched wounds, Time pulled the five adopted sons of his close while doing his best to hold them all in his arms. Even though he really hated hospitals, he felt entirely safe and sound at the moment.
At the next day the six of them returned back to the ranch. The five boys followed Time pretty much to anywhere and everywhere he went while needing to know everyone in their family was safe and sound. They checked the ranch to make sure the trio hadn’t done any damage on their visit to there. Time very much enjoyed of the company and notion he was gaining while making sure each of his boys were all right and healing from the ordeal.
There was so much of hardcore proof of the trio of crooks that it had been quite futile to even think about throwing a lawsuit against them. They were sent off to jail with charges such as murder, vandalism, shoplifting, kidnapping and attempted murder. There was no chances the trio would get out and with not having really gained much of name as criminals, they weren’t capable of getting a chance at revenge.

A self indulgent loid forger x yandere self insert.
Yandere in the sense of reclaimed and coping with bpd by using my blorbo and f/o thank you.
Symptoms expressed include obsessive tendencies, jealousy and possessiveness.
Probably just gonna be the one fic unless I decide to write more about loid.
May or may not be replacing Fiona.

Code name Twilight, the agent currently going by the name Loid Forger was a highly respected person in the agency. Damn good at his job too.
Code name Sparrow, the agent assigned to a mission designated in twilights area was also assigned as a neighbor in case of backup or cover during twilights mission was needed.
Today was move in day, sparrow had just arrived at the apartment with their things and started settling in.
Residents had noticed the boxes and furnishings being moved in priar to their arrival and seemed to have created a little buzz, gossiping about the new neighbor moving in, so they expected to meet some people and have to introduce themselves a bit.
No problem, nothing to be nervous about, it would be easy enough. However the thing they were worried about, was actually meeting Twilight.
If they were to cooperate together for the first time, first impressions had to go well!
Though, this meant meeting the rest of the forger family as well. Sparrow looked forward to meeting his fake wife least of all.
They would have immediately volunteered to be assigned that role had they not had an assignment already prior, for the sake of the mission of course, another agent as skilled as sparrow surely would have been much better fitting.
But due to the shortage of agents available at the time limit twilight had upon starting his mission, he had to rope in some civilians. Unfortunate.
At the very least sparrow could be there close by to make sure things went smoothly for twilight. If this mission didn't go well, his reputation as an agent might get tarnished and the agencies entire operation could be at stake or worse. Being around twilight alone was quite the honour and a nice bonus too.
Though, having a seperate mission of their own would get in the way every now and then, they just hopped it didn't become too much of a hindrance.
For now it was time to play the part of the good neighbor.
A knock at the door of their apartment broke up the agents thoughts. They set down the books they were absentmindedly organizing in the living room, setting them on top of the low set bookshelf and walking to the entrance to answer the door.
A peak through the eye hole showed them the face of a blonde man, one glance at the pin on his blazer immediately told sparrow who he was.
They opened it to find a blonde man, a dark haired woman and a small girl. The forgers.
"hello" sparrow greeted with a polite smile.
"hello, I'm Loid Forger. This is my family, my wife Yor and our daughter Anya." He motioned to them both as he introduced them. "We're your neighbors nextdoor. We moved in just last month ourselves and we noticed you're new so we thought we would introduce ourselves."
"it's very nice to meet you all. I'm Sind Dufaux." They introduced themself in return.
"it's a pleasure to meet you mx. Dufaux! We were wondering if you'd like to join us for dinner tomorrow night" Yor spoke up with a bright smile, seemingly excited.
"that sounds lovely, thank you, I would" sparrow replied with an almost mirrored expression.
"it's settled then- ah, Anya, it's rude to stare, say hello" Loid spoke to his daughter.
The little girl stood staring with an awed expression at Sind, like something about them caught her by surprise in the "better than I imagined" way a child usually expresses.
*this kids pretty cute in person*
Anya smiled brightly "Hi!! I got a doggy and his name is Bond! You wanna meet him??"
"They can meet Bond tomorrow when they come over for dinner, sweetie" Yor pointed out with a chuckle.
"right!" Anya nodded with enthusiasm.
"well then, all that's settled. It was a pleasure meeting you Mx. Dufaux. We'll leave you be now" Loud nodded.
"it was very nice to meet you all too." They replied.
Loid and Sind exchanged a glance as the forgers left. A knowing nod, then the door was shut.
All seemed to have gone well. Though they could have done without Yors enthusiasm, twilight at the very least acknowledged them as a co-worker now.
And so starts the new fake life, two agents who only know each other by alias assigned to work together. If they didn't know better it was as if they were in some sort of romance novel. But no, of course not, this was strictly professional, and all for the sake of both their missions.
While sparrow was more than happy to lend twilight a hand, they would have to begrudgingly do so with Yor in the way.
Surely though, it will work out in the end.
