#stobotnik#doctor ivo robotnik#agent stone#sonic movie universe#i like scaring robotnik#i made so many weird decisions with this one#why no colors? i thought it looked better like this#is that eggman crying? you bet#why is the first panel so funny to me personally? no reason#the idea of rob driving the bike is hilarious but i didn't draw that because not the point#rob threatened everyone to hell and back until stone got back#he was ready to kill everyone there#he was kicking and shouting the entire time#he would have gone himself if he had access to any sort of weapon#but no one would give him one and the lab was the place attacked#stone didn't necessarily KNOW he would die#but he knew it was possible so he had to say it#i just kept thinking about my comic about the fruit basket#and how robotnik would crumble if i gave him more time to do so

man i feel bad for fans of the httyd movies who haven't seen the shows, especially race to the edge. like they don't know that the riders left berk and lived on an outpost together to go adventuring and fight dragon hunters as a team. they don't know that snotlout and astrid and fishlegs and the twins got character development. they don't know how cool and interesting the villains in the shows are compared to the movies. they don't know that the riders are filled with love and loyalty to each other and they bicker and train and play card games with each other and have sleepovers together and will risk their lives for their friends and their dragons in a heartbeat. imagine that.
#personal opinion but race to the edge is really the poster child of how tv shows based on movies should be done#new awesome looking dragons new compelling side characters new interesting villains#and i loved the redemption arcs we got#and i dont think i have to say how good the shows did snotlout#and they fit into canon!#mostly#anyway i love them. the riders are my favourite found family in any media ever#httyd#rtte#how to train your dragon#race to the edge#rob#dob
