Goths (2017) as an album is about half composed of songs about wistful middle-aged musicians (e.g. Paid in Cocaine, Shelved, Andrew Eldritch is Moving Back to Leeds), and those songs are very Jod to me. But the other half is semi-autobiographical tales of teens being awkward and self-conscious and destructive and adorable: so, Gideon, and to some extent Jeannemary and Isaac.
