Gpose Wrapped 2023

One year ago I started my journey with gpose😊 Through this I have been lucky to meet kindest and incredibly talented friends and that's the only reason it was worth starting. I absolutely adore everything you do!😍

My skills cannot catch up with my imagination, so many ideas remain only in my head, but I hope next year I will finally learn how to arrange the light correctly, my miqo will take more natural poses and I will be able to implement at least some ideas :)

What a year! I had no idea I had taken this many shots over 2023 :'> For the most part, each of these is something I've already featured on this blog. Jan, Feb, and Sept were never posted, though!

I would like to take a moment to thank all of y'all for inspiring me daily on my dash, and for all of the support and the kind words y'all have given over the year. Y'all have kept me creating through some dark times with your kind words, and have celebrated with me some real creative triumphs.

To 2024! I can't wait to see what we all create!

Lia's Gpose Wrapped 2023 I let my sub lapse for a total of six months this year, so I only have these six of my favourite gposes to share. Nevertheless I had a great time gposing this year, especially in December - I've been posting something almost every day! My favourite for the month hasn't actually been posted yet so I skipped down to #2 with the lovely Venat. I am trying to learn to tell more stories and be more dynamic and atmospheric in my screenshots, not to mention use more colour. I've even started putting Elle in orange! It's a work in progress. :') I'm excited to keep going with all the inspirations I've had this month, even in the times when I have nothing specific to tell and just want to look at Elle's pretty face. Thank you for being with me on Tumblr this year, and I look forward to the next!

Thanks for all the notes and attention on these-- especially on Sparrow (August). It was a real labor of love that sprouted my obsession with long-form / cinematic scenes. So, basically... there will be more melodramatic wolcred on your dashboards in 2024 and you will never be rid of me.

2023 was a really crazy year for me and gposing. I learned a bunch and had a blast trying out different things. I'm not really looking to "get better", I just want to have fun taking pics of my WoL and other OCs.

Valkariel - Year in Review 2023

Hail friends, and well met~ Another year gone by and 'tis another year in review time. Thank you so much for continuing to accompany me on my shenanigans! I read every single one of the comments and hashtags, and I'm always grateful to see folks enjoy the stuff I worked on. I really hope it makes your day a little brighter and gives you inspiration for your own WoLs' wardrobes!

At the point of writing this, I have (screen)shot 485 different glamours and even my chocobo got some new clothes too! I've been trying to demonstrate some amount of self restraint this year by not absolutely blasting EC with all of them, but I don't think I did a very good job there... ^_^; About 100 or so of them were put in my backlog and shared only on Tumblr, but some of them might end up on EC one day.

Now that I've settled in more comfortably playing FFXIV, I've begun engaging with more endgame content to acquire new glamour faster. I dabbled in PF savage during late tier Abyssos and actually worked on clearing Ascension content in on release. I have a soft spot for the Ascension raid pieces now, even though I know I will likely not use them often.

Here are some of my favorite glamours/gposes from this year. Picking a reasonable subset is, of course, difficult ;u; Wishing you all a wonderful new year!

This has I've had quite a surprising output of photos, I've had to leave out so many of my favorites from this recap.

Not only that, tho. Putting them all side by side, though, I'm glad to notice how I've managed to maintain a consistent quality despite trying to portray a decent variety of moods, lighting and and settings (despite mostly portraying my two characters and their friends lol). For once I'm quite proud of myself! ✨

Gpose Wrapped 2023

I can’t believe that we are already approaching 2024, and to celebrate, I wanted to get on the trend of showcasing my gposes throughout the year! I decided to choose my favorite ones from each month, regardless of the so called “quality” of each of them. I’m proud of each and every one of them in different ways, and two things definitely stand out: 1) you know exactly when I had access to crimes again (April) and 2) I can tell that I have been practicing and getting better at posing. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy your holidays and I am looking forward to 2024!

Ktisis/Penumbra/Glamourer made it easier to experiment but you can see from the copyright logo on some pics that I still gpose on my PS4/5. It's not only a personal challenge but out of spite because console players whining they can't take a good picture is starting to wear me out. I can only encourage for so long; The rest has to come from them. They can sit and stare longingly at the reshade they can never have instead of gposing more but don't expect me to be sympathetic.

Things I have learned this year:

Take more pics of Ireul (I did but better pics won)

Easier to cycle vanilla emotes than crimes. Something something positioning and no spatial awareness for posing.

When I think I've run out of ideas...I have not.

Isillud is the most beautiful elezen I've ever made. I don't make the rules.

Bonus pic because this technically was a composite shot, but I'm satisfied.
