Many most uses of large language models are dubious. This one has no redeeming value whatsoever.

Scientists at Carnegie Mellon University have unveiled a breakthrough artificial intelligence system called Coscientist that can independently design and execute complex chemistry experiments at the touch of a button. The system aims to accelerate discoveries across scientific domains by leveraging the raw reasoning power of models like GPT-4.
Coscientist combines natural language processing prowess with tools enabling web search, documentation query, code execution, and links to automation instrumentation. After users provide a simple text prompt like “perform Suzuki coupling reactions optimizing for yield,” the AI assistant begins planning the multi-step procedures required.
The system architecture ties together modules accessing external knowledge to empower the core algorithm. This central component operates much like ChatGPT, iterating on solutions through natural conversation. Coscientist’s innate language skills allow to assimilate both textual and experimental results to tackle complex research problems.

We need a sign on ChatGPT and every other language model like this: "This is a LLM. It is not capable of reasoning. It is very good at writing text, but has absolutely no idea of the meaning behind it."

Joywave, a band whose name is as misleading as their talent.
Who on earth are Joywave? Do they make music that's the auditory equivalent of riding a roller coaster while eating a jalapeño popsicle? It's like they took the word "joy" and decided, "Hey, how can we make this wave as uncomfortable and dissonant as possible?" Ah yes, the "joy" that comes from listening to their music is truly questionable. I mean, it's like they took all the blandest elements of indie rock and decided to create a band out of it. Who needs excitement or originality when you can have Joywave, right?
I must say, they really live up to their name because listening to their music feels like a wave of joy crashing over you. Except, instead of a refreshing ocean wave, it's more like a kiddie pool filled with lukewarm tap water. Sorry, but their music is about as exciting as watching paint dry.
Their music is like a never-ending parade of banality, providing the perfect soundtrack for those moments when you want to fall into a deep coma. Listening to their music is like voluntarily subjecting yourself to a never-ending loop of elevator music with a side of cringe-worthy lyrics. Seriously, what are they even singing about? It's like they're trying to communicate with their fellow extraterrestrial beings through their music.
Thank you, Joywave, for blessing us with your repetitive lyrics that sound like they were written by an Al program gone rogue. Does owning a thesaurus automatically make you a great songwriter? I think not. I'm convinced the lead singer just wants people to think he's deep, but all he's doing is drowning in a sea of mediocrity.
Joywave is a band that represents the pinnacle of generic indie pop. Congratulations on making background music that no one will remember in five minutes. So next time you're feeling down, just put on some Joywave and remind yourself that things could always be worse.

So I've been having some fun with GPT-4 through Bing lately. I was trying out different things and every time I start a new topic in English, the AI initially replies in German, because my browser's language is set to German. I usually just ask the it to switch to English/repeat that in English and it would do so without problems. Until now... I put it on the creative settings, so maybe that played a role in this behavior. I guess I really "ruffled its feathers" by wanting to bet for a hug and then I accused it of being wrong and it did not want to be wrong, so it ended the conversation 😆 I think it might have been only referring to the browser's language settings, while I was talking about the language we were currently using to chat, maybe it did not get that distinction. I did lie to it by saying I changed the settings when I hadn't, it might have detected the change had I done so, but I did not want to risk the topic coming to an end yet. It really did try to convince me that my English text was German 😆 Do you have a funny or weird AI story too?

AI is transforming the world of creativity and innovation. From generating images, text, music, and more, AI can help us express ourselves in new and exciting ways. However, not everyone has access to the latest AI technology or the skills to use it effectively. That’s why LaPrompt AI was created.
LaPrompt AI supports the most popular AI tools such as GPT-4, Midjourney, DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, LeonardoAI, and PlaygroundAI. These tools can generate images, text, music, art, and more from any prompt. LaPrompt AI also supports some niche AI tools such as ChatGPT, Llama 2, GEN-2, and Aperture v3.5. These tools can generate chatbots, logos, memes, and more from any prompt.

Finding whatever you ask for, even if it doesn't exist, isn't ideal behavior for chatbots that people are using to retrieve and summarize information. It's like weaponized confirmation bias.

Single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq), a rapidly developing field of RNA sequencing of single cells, has recently made a breakthrough that could revolutionize cell type annotation. Using GPT-4’s powerful language model, Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and Duke University School of Medicine researchers have demonstrated that cell types can be accurately annotated based on marker gene information, greatly reducing the effort and expertise required for this critical step. The researchers additionally developed an R programming suite named GPTCelltype tailored for the automated annotation of cell types by GPT-4.
Although cell type annotation is a fundamental step in scRNA-seq analysis, it has traditionally been a long and laborious process. This analysis is typically done by a human expert by comparing highly expressed genes with canonical cell type markers. The task requires a lot of knowledge and experience.
Despite the development of automated cell-type annotation methods, manual annotation based on marker genes remains widely used, raising the need for more efficient and accurate solutions.
