what are some smells that remind you of your dr? Why?

❆ | the smell of chai latte ; I sometimes sneak myself my own drink while working at the Mostro Lounge, which is usually an iced chai latte. I really love chai as it is one of my favorite drinks from my or.

❆ | the sea ; the scent of the ocean air, the salty tang in the air. It reminds me of the Coral Sea, my homeland. And it just reminds me of Octavinelle in general.

❆ | the ocean di gioia perfume ; it smells like the ocean with a hint of elegance. I will definitely own this perfume in my dr and wear it all the time.

❆ | turathi blue perfume ; this perfume reminds me of grapefuit, like the gin and grapefruit juice at the Mostro Lounge.

❆ | cedro di diamante perfume ; reminds me of lemon, like some of the drinks at the Mostro Lounge

Hi love! What other characters do you have in mind? Call me stereotypical, but Naruto is and will remain an orange. Honest about what he is and happy to open up, bright, joyful, zesty, but lacking the bitter tartness that grapefuits have.

The first fruit that came into my mind when thinking of Kakashi is the carambola/starfruit. It is rather funky looking and the taste might be surprisingly bland to some. Just like a menacing killer that is feared across nations turning out to be a half asleep dude who reads erotica in public.

Sakura is a lychee. She has a rather hard shell that needs to be cracked, then gets sweet and soft beneath, but then- BOOM. An even harder core in the middle.

For Hinata, my association might be controversial, but I associate her with the fruit monstera deliciosa. A delicious and genuinely sweet fruit, but only if eaten at the right time. Poisonous and deadly when unripe. My first association with Shikamaru is the fruit known as buddha's hand. Interesting to look at, but not willing to deliver on the pulp department and a more acquired taste. Once you become familiar with the fruit you know how to use it and it tastes even better.

This morning’s side by side was Grapefuit beers. First up was Paulaner Grapefruit Radler. Great grapefruit flavor, a little sweet & a little sour, it strikes a great balance. Next up was Schöfferhofer Hefeweizen Bier Grapefruit. More effervescent than the radler, the tiny bubbles added a nice mouthfeel to this one, but flavor wise it was a little more bitter on the finish. All in all these are both great porch sitting beers, but I preferred the Paulaner Radler overall.

Re-listening to the Magnus Archives... damn this is good. I'm on Schwartzwald at the moment (always love the Eye ones for obvious reasons). This is one of my favorite episodes I think... all the bits left unexplained really adds to it. It just doesn't make full sense and that makes me love it all the more. It's just so cool! Mix #143 Sleestack Attack

1oz Doctor Bird rum 1oz Hamilton White Stache rum 1oz gold Puerto Rican rum 1oz falernum 2oz pineapple juice 1oz grapefuit juice 1oz orange juice 1oz lime juice 1oz Demerara syrup

Shake everything with ice and pour into a large glass.

Created by Matt Strickland,this is a big drink with lots of vitamin C. Sweet and citrus-y with some spice,the three ounces of rum give it kick. A nice cocktail for a good read.

Mix #144 Skipper's Downfall

1oz light rum 1oz dark rum 1/2oz creme de cacao 1/2oz orange juice 1/2oz lemon juice

Combine ingredients with ice in mug. Stir and top with seltzer.

From the now gone Tiki bar Skipper Kent's,this is very tart. Many older Tiki recipes were like this. I upped the cacao to an ounce and added a half ounce of Demerara syrup and it was much better.

So pick up the latest issue and get yourself some culture.
