what if grapplegrubs. but evil
Chasing Wind: "The Hook Leech is quite a nasty one I must say"
"It can do:"
It has the sticky elongated tongues of the Grapple Worm.
It has a Stowaway mouth and its anchor at the end of both tongues
It also feeds on blood like the Leeches. Meaning it slowly but surely drains your blood if it got you by its mouth.
It can live on land like Grapple Worm, hide up high on the ceiling like a Stowaway, and swim in water like Leeches.
You can still use it like a normal Grapple Worm, just make sure to feed it before using it or else it will attack you. It acts like Saint's tongue, so an upgrade from the normal Grapple Worm.
You can actually shoot the anchor tongue at an enemy and hurt it. It will do the same damage as a spear/stick.
Yep, this is quite a useful one. A rarity, I know.

I HAVE FOUND A GRAPPLE WORM A SIMILAR SHADE OF GREENISH BLUE AS KENNETH AND NOW HEADCANON THIS AS KENNETH BUT NOW HE IS REJUVENATED AND HEALTHY
Originally Kenneth was a sort of greyish green but this one is brighter and I refuse to believe it's not Kenneth
With the assistance of Gwenneth the squidcada we have found Kenneth in Underhang and I headcanon that he has found new skill and comfort in using his super ninja grapple worm skills to fight off like a gazillion daddy long legs and after his training arc is ready to rejoin the party
I love Rain World

I don't know what gave me the urge to make this (besides me watching that 5 hour Rainworld video), but I just really wanted to

You will never convince me that Isabel Lovelace is not disabled post-canon. Think about it.
Of everyone in the crew, she's spent by far the longest time in space. Sure, she's probably been exercising, but that isn't going to fully stop her muscles atrophying. Her bones are going to weaken. Not to mention the fact that she went into the cryo chamber, which we know isn't GREAT for you (I know Eiffel is kind of an outlier but still. Even once is gonna fuck you up at least a little).
Then add to THAT the fact that the body Lovelace has now was created by the dear listeners. Not only are they recreating a body that's already undergone almost a thousand days of the trauma of space; they're doing it with zero existing knowledge of how a human body functions in Earth's gravity. The clones are almost perfect, but there are notable differences in internal organs, and I wouldn't be surprised if Lovelace was put back together with some inconsistencies.
All this to say, I think Lovelace would become a mobility aid user when the crew lands back on Earth. Everyone on the crew would probably end up in physical therapy, but the damage done to her body would be by far the most extensive. Whereas I don't doubt Jacobi, Minkowski, and Eiffel could regain most if not all of their mobility, I think Lovelace would use a wheelchair, and eventually with PT could use crutches or a cane some days. Even if she were to regain muscle function, she would probably have some sort of chronic pain that would necessitate mobility aids!
In conclusion Let Her Be Disabled thank you for coming to my TED talk

what if grapple worm grass ? the tongues stick and pull you down
Chasing Wind: I thought not.
===
The Grapple Grass comes in a bush and they usually eat Rain Deer or anything that comes close to them. They reach out like Monster Kelp and stuck to you like a Grapple Worm until you're devoured into their bush.
Once you're stuck by one, the other grabs you as well, making it nearly impossible to escape. Your only hope is to have TWO gooeiducks in hand before crawling past them.

Since most rain world creatures are a cross between 2 types of animals it's totally possible that scavs are a cross between apes and some kind of insect (probably ants) which I'm that case the scavs could be matriarchal with a queen like ants, (since the leader of the scavs is called the chief not the king it's possible) so in that case artis campaign could end in the ultimate girlboss battle.
all that theorization and consideration all to come to a girl-boss battle conclusion
